Okay I notice I have a screw up on (Luffy) Lucifer's full name. I need to go back and check it to Dracule D. Lucifer. Lol
Chapter 2
Six month later
Garp lands on Kuraigana Island growling. "MIHAWK WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" He yells.
Mihawk let's out a sigh as he looks up from the book he is reading as he is sitting on the rune wall. Standing before him are three boys. Two of the three boys holding pipes as the smallest of the three is holding a sword in hand. They are facing off against the Humandrills of the island.
"AHHH!" Yells the older of the three boys the raven hair boy jumps up into the air as he brings down his pipe on the humandrill's sword that stood across from him. "You bastard. I am not going to let you win today." He growls out as his pipe breaks the age sword that the humandrill wield. It fell to the ground as it hit it's head on stone knocking it's self out.
Ace stood over the humandrill panting. A slow grin crossed his lips as he looked down at the humandrill that laid at his feet.
Mihawk smiles. "You have done well Ace. You are improving nicely." He praised the boy before him.
Ace blushes from the praise as it is still something new to him. Because since he came to live with Mihawk he has come to learn a new and healthy lifestyle. "Th-thanks." Stuttered Ace looking away.
Garp saw this…Shock is written across his face. His grandson looks happy and healthy. The frown he has seen on Ace's face since the boy had turn 4 years old appears to be gone. It has been replaced with a smile and joy. Something he nor Dadan has been able to do. He is drawn out of his thoughts as Mihawk jumps down from the rune wall closing his book.
"That is enough training for today. Return to the castle boys." Said Mihawk as his golden eyes meet with Garp's black eyes. "Hello Garp." He said calmly.
"Dracule. I wasn't happy to find out that you had taken my boys." Said Garp glaring at the swordsman standing before him.
Mihawk began chuckling. "Your boys? No Garp. They are not your boys. They have never been your boys. Yes, you have used your name and statues of Hero of the Marines to protect them and have been in and out of their lives. But they are my sons. I never knew of Lucifer and now that I have him in my life. You will not be taking him from me. As Lucifer sees Ace and Sabo as his elder brothers. They are my sons as well." He told the man standing before him.
Not looking back Mihawk knows the three boys are hiding behind the rune wall he was sitting on listening to them speak. "Boys. I have told you to return to the Castle. Do I need to call for Nanny Ivory?" He question in a flat even tone of voice.
He can hear three slight screams as he and Garp can hear three steps of footsteps rushing off towards the Castle.
"That old she-devil is still alive?" Question Garp ignoring the harsh tongue lashing he just received from the man standing across from him.
"Yes, she is still alive and still wants to whip you across the seas." Said Mihawk looking at him as he slowly blinks at the man standing there as he watches Garp pale at those simple words.
"I see Ace and the others are doing well here." Said Garp moving his large right hand over his face.
"They are. As well I have been aiding Ace in understanding he is worthy of being alive and that both his parents loved him and wouldn't have done what they have. To makes sure that he lived." Said Mihawk as his golden eyes glowed in the setting sun with anger. "Something you should have fucking done Garp. Something you should have had the Bandits he was living with should have done. But no. They only give him negative reinforcement and telling him he is just a fucking bastard and should have never been born. Granted that never came from Dadan nor the two weird looking ones that stick to her side. But it had come from the other bandits from her crew. Something that is unforgiveable. Something I shall handle once I have to take a couple missions from the World Government." He said with anger in those intense golden eyes that burn holes into the man's soul standing before him.
Garp was taken back at hearing about how some of the other bandits had been treating Ace. It also made him wonder how they would treat Lucifer if they knew who his mother and father are. Garp let's out a sigh. "I need to ask Ace for his forgiveness. I never knew he was going though this. All Dadan told me was he had been fighting with people at the local bars around his birthday each year and just locks himself away from everyone each time." He said letting out a sigh. "I have honestly missed a lot." He said falling onto the ground below him letting out a sigh.
"That would be a good start. But you need to stop trying to force the boys into becoming Marines. If it is something they want. They will go into it. But if it is not. Then allow them to become what they want to be. For if you keep on the path you are now. You will only drive them away from them away from you." Said Mihawk looking at him feeling like he was the adult right now. As Garp was now behaving like a child being scolded.
"I will try. I just wanted them to become Marines. For it would protect them from the truth ever coming out of their parentage." Said Garp letting out a sigh once more feeling like he had just aged once more.
"It wouldn't Garp. We both have seen it. We both have seen good Marines being sent to Impale down once it came out if their father's or mother's we're pirates. You know that for fact as they killed one of Big Mom's sons who ran away from her and became a Marine." Said Mihawk pinching the bridge of his nose with his right hand.
"I know. But who would believe Ace is Rogers son?" Question Garp looking up at Mihawk.
"I would." Came a voice from behind Garp.
Garp spins around to come face to face with Silvers Rayleigh standing behind him along with red-hair Shanks and Benn Beckman.
"Akagami. It has taken you longer than expect to return to my island." Said Mihawk looking at the new comers.
"Ahh…sorry about that. But it couldn't be help as Rayleigh here was on one of his little "trips" and Shanky had to give me his vivo card to hunt him down. Needless to say. There is one less slave auction house out there now." Said Shanks with a goofy grin on his face.
"Selling yourself to pay off your gambling debate again?" Question Garp smirking at the silver hair man standing across from him.
"Well it is a hard habit to break, and I get bored after a while. So I have to do something." Said Rayleigh with a grin. "I see your still playing Marine. I kept telling you that you would have made a wonderful pirate Garp." He said chuckling at the large man's frown.
"I might have teamed up with your Captain a few time to take down those bastard back in the day and we were drinking buddies. But I was and still am happy with being a Marine." Said Garp letting out another sigh.
"But not happy enough to move up higher in the rankings." Said Rayleigh with a smirk on his face.
"You know my feelings about those damn celestials. With my ranking." Said Garp with a frown on his face.
Shanks and Rayleigh just laugh. As Mihawk frown at hearing this.
"That is one of the things I am grateful for. That I do not have to deal them as well." Said Mihawk letting out a sigh. "But Lucifer have to make his debut into noble social society by the time he is 17 years of age." H said with another sigh escaping his lips.
Garp's black eyes look over at the Warlord standing behind him. "I have forgotten your mother was once a Celestial Dragon who married lowly when she married your father and was pushed out of their world." He said with a sigh now knowing the world his grandson would have to deal with in the near future.
"Sabo is of noble birth but doesn't want anything to deal with it. I will show Lucifer this world as well. But I am not going to force him into it. I am going to allow him to follow his dream." Said Mihawk with a smile on his lips as he looks back towards the Castle as he hears Luffy scream and two other boys laughing and a woman yelling.
"What is the boy's dream?" Question Rayleigh with an arched silver eyebrow.
"He wants to be Pirate King." Said Mihawk watching Garp who began turning a crimson color.
"WHAT!?" Roars Garp glaring now at Shanks. "It is all your fault. IF my grandson hadn't met you, he wouldn't have that foolish dream of being coming pirate king." He whirls around on Shanks growling at him.
Benn takes a drag from his cigar. "Before even meeting Shanks. Lucifer wanted to be a Pirate. This way he has more of a focus goal of being something more. Making him want to become the strongest of them all and battle for his dream and the dreams of those who join his crew." He lets out a long stream of smoke as his stone cold grey eyes looking at the Marine Hero.
Garp's mouth open and closed. He knew Benn had a point. If Luffy didn't have a focus goal would he make it as a Pirate? "Fine. But I want to make sure he can take out anyone he will be facing and his brothers." He said grumbling as he crosses his arms over his broad chest.
"Very well. But Garp you will aid in his training. I want you to teach them the six powers." Said Mihawk glaring at the old Marine Hero standing before him.
"But…." Began Garp before he was cut off by Mihawk.
"No. I want to give them all chances to make it out there. You owe that too them for all the pain you have put them though in their short time on earth." Growls out Mihawk showing a golden but demonic aura behind him.
"Fine." Growls out Garp. "When do you want me to begin their training?" He question gritting his teeth looking at the golden eye man.
"For now I am building up their body. So I want you to return here in one year." Said Mihawk. "I want you to stay for the full year to make sure they are able to so all six powers without even thinking. I want you to drill it into them." He added as Garp about to protest this. But clamed up for he knew whatever he would say at that moment would damn him to hell and he might loose all his rights to the boys and that was the last thing he would ever want.
"Fine. That would give me time to take and use up about half of all the vacation time I have built up. Goku will not be happy. But I could bring my wife. For she has been missing her little Luffy-chan." Said Garp with a smile.
"I'll be gone by then." Said Rayleigh as he didn't want to deal with that old Marine either.
Mihawk's golden eyes move over to the Dark King. "You shall be staying as well Rayleigh. For I want those boys to be able to use their Haki in their sleep. As Ace and Luffy have King's Haki." He told the man standing before him.
Rayleigh's eyes widen at learning this new piece of information. He turns and looks at Shanks and smacks him over the head. "Why didn't you tell me this?" He demand looking at the crimson hair man.
"Ouch! Oi! I forgot. I'm sorry!" Cries out Shanks as he rubs where Rayleigh had smacked his head.
"Foolish boy." Grumbles Rayleigh as he lets out a huff.
Mihawk just rolled his eyes and spun on his heel. "Follow me so you are able to meet the boys as well learn more about your future student's Rayleigh." He said as they could hear the boys screaming from within the castle. Mihawk let out a sigh.
All eyes move towards him. "They must have pissed off Ivory against or tried stealing all the food out of the refrigerator again." He said with a sigh.
Garp just chuckles. "They have the legendary D black hole stomach." He says as Rayleigh chuckles as well.
