The next morning, the Super Sleuths met with Sonic again at a pool near the entrince to Emerald Coast.

"So it was an asteroid that gave you all these power." Sonic said as Darby explained to him about how the Super Sleuths got their powers.

"It's true. When it stopped glowing, Rabbit thought we'd lose our powers. But this strange purple gem stone was there and helped us keep them."

"Purple gem?" Sonic asked. "Could that be a,"

Before he could finish, all of them turned to the sky to see an out of control plain flying by. And sonic got a good look at who the pilot was.

"What? Tails?" He asked. Until, "Watch out! You're gonna crash! AAHH!"

And yet, he did crash. Right at the edge of the other side of Emerald Coast.

"Tails. Aw what am I gonna do with that fox?"

"Wait hath a minute." Said Tigger. "Did you say that was a foxerinny on that air dohicky?"

"That was my best buddy. Miles Prower. But everyone calls him Tails because of his extra tail."

"Extra tail?" Pooh asked.

"He was born with two tails." Sonic explained. "And if he spins them, he can fly or match my speed."

"Match your speed?" Darby asked.

"When we first met, he was able to keep up with me. He's a great inventer once you get to know him. Back then, the others made fun of him until he met me after I saved South Island from the hands of my arch enemy. But maybe, maybe you four got more than just the powers you know you have."

"Really?" Tigger asked.

"Try running with me at the beach. See if you can keep up with my speed. And while we're at it, we can find Tails."

Before anyone could ask anything, Sonic zoomed off to Emerald Coast.

"Whoa! He's really fast!" Darby exlaimed. "Let's see if we're as fast as him."

With that said, the Super Sleuths began to run to the beach. Until they found out they were running faster than they useily do. They managed to catch up with Sonic as they were now seeing that they were as fast as him.

"See? I told you."

And by then, they ran up to the pear as they bounced on the lines. Just before they went through a loop. Pooh and Tigger screamed as Buster howled.

"Whoa! My head's spinning!" Darby shouted.

"You'll get used to it. It's fun." Sonic said to her.

As they ran through the beach, they got to a rocky hill which they ran up until they got to a double loop and this time, nobody shouted or screemed. Just as they got to another bridge.

"Whoa. This is as fun as bouncing." Said Tigger.

"Running is what I was born for." Said Sonic. Just as a whale splashed by. "Whoa! That's a big one."

"He's heading for us. Run!" Darby shouted.

And they did. The whale was able to keep up with them as he smashed the bridge behind them. But they made it back to the beach in time and then up a rocky hill to a light house.

"Oh bother. I thought all whales were nice." Said a very upset Pooh Bear.

"I think that one was a killer type." Said Darby. "I learned about the different types of whales in school."

"We can talk about whales later. We need to make sure Tails is alright." Said Sonic.

And off they went. Down a hole to the cove as they went by a waterfall. And then they went over a water path by hopping (or bouncing in Tigger's case) across stone pads and then down a small hill to a round tunnel where they made a loop across and then up a ramp.

"You're doing great." Sonic said to the Super Sleuths. "Now let me show you about wall jumping."

Sonic then jumped onto a wall and then to another and then some more until he landed on another path with the Suoer Sleuths following behind him. And then they went down the path and through another loop and then through a hoop before landing on the beach where Tails had crashed.

"Yes!" Sonic shouted. "Well done you guys."

Buster was then seen licking Tails to wake him up.

"Buster." Darby giggled.

"Ugh." Tails growned as he woke up. Just in time to see Sonic and the Super Sleuths in front of him. "Hey Sonic. Long time no see."

"Boy you were lucky we saw you coming down." Sonic said to him.

"We?" Tails asked him.

"Tails. These are the Super Sleuths. This is Darby and her dog Buster. Over there is Tigger. And this is Winnie The Pooh. Bust just call him Pooh."

"Well, nice to meet you."

"Oh yes. You too. Hmm hmm hmm." Pooh laughed.

"What happened anyway?" Darby asked him.

"Yeah. You're too good of a pilot to just crash like that." Said Sonic.

"That was a test run using a new prototype propulsion system. It's got a few bugs to iorn out."

"Why not just use my plain? The Tornado." Sonic offered. "You still have it right?"

"I do. But you need check out this new power source." Tails said as he opened the nose cone on the plain and pulled out a purple gem.

"That's it. That's the gem that aloud us to keep our powers." Said Darby.

"No way! That's one of the seven Chaos Emeralds!" Sonic shouted.

"Yep. I found it during one of my test flights." Said Tails. "And sense it has unlimited power, I thought I'd use it power my plain. Super charged. All of you gotta come to my workshop and I'll show you everything. It's in the Mystic Ruins. The fastest way is by train once we return to the city."

Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman was seen activating one of his newest robots. Next to him was his robo assistents. Orbot and Cubot.

"System online."

"Yes. All systems-full power!"

The robot looked around the place all confused. Until,

"Look at me. I am you creator. Dr. Eggman. You are the second of my E-100 model machines. You are E-102. Codnamed: Gamma."

"Gamma."

"It looks like Gamma might be in full compasity." Said Orbot.

"Could this mean we're scrap metal now?" Cubot asked.

"No. I still have need of you two." Eggman said to them. "Now Gamma. You will obey only me. Over there, you will find the shooting range. You're big brother E-101 Beta just finished in there. I sent him on a misson to bring me the Chaos Emeralds. I do have my hopes for you though you're not as advanced as Beta is."

With that said, Gamma made his way into the shooting range.

And here's Gamma showing up. I know Orbot and Cubot don't come until Sonic Colors, but I thought I'd have them show up now sense I find them really funny.

Also, as you can see, the Chaos Emerald not only got the Super Sleuths to keep their powers but also run as fast as Sonic in which I thought would be a good idea.
