The group soon arrived at a snowy landscape.
"Now this is more like it." Captain Cold said. "I should've brought my skis."
"Aren't the next Winter Games supposed to take place in Shanghai or something?" Yangus asked.
"No, it's in Beijing." Cheetah said.
"Either way, it's in China. China is well-known for their mystic arts that they pass down to the people." Belladonna said.
"Not to mention the history behind it. Didn't Leopardmon say that he admired some of the strategists from the Three Kingdoms Era?" Zamazenta asked.
"Yes. Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi. Two of history's most accomplished strategists. He certainly has set his bar very high." Cheetah said.
"Very high, if those two are the standard he's trying to meet." Jade said.
"Yes, he's even taking Ishihara under his wing, and the results show." Cheetah said.
"You seem to be on pretty good terms with Leopardmon, though. Sometimes, I even sometimes see the three of you making joint efforts together." Koren said.
"Most notable is the time the three of them collabed in Wano. That was the best." Captain Cold said.
"I'd say those three make quite the power trio themselves. Pretty much no one can top these three together when it comes to strategy." Zamazenta said.
"Yeah, even Orbettle had a hard time with them, I heard." Guy said.
"You heard right." Cheetah said.
The group soon fought and defeated a sort of floating head before arriving at a sort of beanstalk.
"Now this is more like it." Poison Ivy said.
"Reminds me of Jack and the Beanstalk. Just, you know… Without Jack or any giants." Agito said.
"I think it's already been established that this place is pretty weird." Toya said.
"Weird or not, these worlds have a certain aesthetic to them. Shame they only exist because of that gem's power." Angelo said.
"It just goes to show that, as mentioned before, you need to watch what you're scavenging for. The artifact you're seeking could be a sentient being wanting to be free and spread despair to the world that sealed it away in the first place." Cheetah said.
"I get it, okay? I get it!" Wario said.
"I'm saying this because I was in the same boat." Cheetah said.
"Er, wait. Say what, you were?" Wario asked.
"Yes. How do you think I got like this? Certainly not because of some arbitrary desire to become one with the cheetah, if that's what you're thinking… Okay, maybe it was." Cheetah said.
"And yet, you do not seem all that bothered by that now. What changed?" Wario asked.
"Nothing much, really. I've just learned to combine the brain of the human I once was with the instincts of the cheetah I've now become. Bringing out the best of both worlds, as one would say." Cheetah said.
"And that's pretty much all everyone here can ask for from you." Riesz said.
"Yeah. Just be yourself, the best of both worlds that you can be. That's all we ask, really." Belladonna said.
The group did battle with a giant spider that shoots laser beams before coming face to face with a bull like figure in a speedo.
"Okay, first a dinosaur in a bikini, now this guy?" Agito asked.
"You're not the only one sensing a theme here. This gem must have a pretty shrewd mind." Cheetah said before they dodged an attack from the figure's arm cannon.
"Okay, seriously. Someone should call Franky. This cow-man is totally stealing his gimmick!" Captain Cold said.
The figure charged at the group before Cheetah sliced at it, causing the figure to fall into the lava before coming back out all charred.
"Not that was a fight well done." Agito said.
"Eh, I prefer medium rare." Zenji said.
"This should be the third key, right?" George asked.
"Yes, it is. That means there's only one key left to take before we face the gem itself." Belladonna said.
"No time to waste. Let's get moving." Zamazenta said as Cheetah started eating through the bull-like figure's corpse.
"Mm. Roast beef, anyone?" Cheetah asked.
"Your eating habits really need to be called into question." Wario said.
"Like you're one to talk." Guy said as the group shared a laugh at this exchange.
