• This chapter, is greatly connected to my fic "Lord Uzumaki". However, what you need to know is; The Doctor learned the Uzumaki Clan is descended from his Granddaughter, Susan. As a result, he saves them from being destroyed with their village. His Attempts to save his descendants, results in the 3 Great Shinobi Wars, being dragged on as a single, 50 year long, war. Later, after the Uzumaki's village falls, The Doctor brings the clan to Konoha, and makes a deal with the 4th Hokage, to keep them safe. Even awakening as many of their Time Lord genes, as he can. Although he intentionally dilutes their Regeneration abilities, into a Chakra limited healing factor. That way they won't know the pain of outliving everyone else.

• I will go into more detail, when relevant, in later chapters, as part of the actual story, instead of using Author's notes. However, there really was no opportunity to do so in this chapter, and I realized my readers may get confused.

Not all Frost Demons, or rather "Arcosian", were heartless. Although they did all think of most Sapients as "less evolved" then themselves. This could manifest in them believing they had a duty to protect, and sometimes guide, other Sapients.

As far as the Arcosian were concern, there were sentient lifeforms, then Sapient, followed by themselves. They were "God Killers", entities with comparable power levels to gods. Lifeforms with such long lifespans, they might as well be immortal, and power levels so high, their weakest adults could glass planets, and destroy moons. With their average IQ being 2000.

There were few races that could be described as their equals. Fellow entities such as: Living Planets, Time Lords, Dragons, and the Higher Yokai.

Cooler had a theory that Saiyans may one day reach that potential. However, it was more a passing interest. Like being aware apes used tools, and could learn sign language, but not considering them Sapient.

Saiyans were still evolving, and maybe, in the future, they would reach Arcosian levels. But given their short lifespans, at a measly 500 galactic standard years. They weren't there yet.

Saiyans were impressive animals, but still just animals. Though Cooler wanted to see them reach their potential. Unfortunately, with how slow evolution was, it was unlikely they would break that gap, even in his lifetime.

Cooler was... frustrated, that his father so devastated their population. Unlike some others of his race, Cooler never enjoyed pointless killing, or even injuring, animals. Especially not ones with as much potential as Saiyans.

Yes, on occasion, Cooler had been required to discipline his pets, but he never left a permanent mark, and he certainly never killed any of them.

Cooler loved his collection of Sapients. For example, the little Saiyan boy, currently sitting on his lap. Enjoying having his hair brushed.

This was Prince Vegeta, 7 year old son of King Vegeta... and beloved pet of Prince Cooler. Cooler had debated on renaming him "Fluffy", after the thick, spikey, hair all Saiyans had... but the cub had refused to respond to that. He really was too old to rename. Sapients, over a certain age, can be stubborn about such things.

Although Cooler still called him "Fluffy" from time to time, as a nickname.

By the time the Saiyans were brought together, Vegeta had been with Cooler for 4, galactic standard, months... which effectively meant he had been with the man for over a year, of Earth Kai's solar cycles.

So even after all Saiyans were reunited, Cooler had grown attached, and wasn't going to give the boy up... but since Vegeta liked the idea of his dead race rebuilding, Cooler allowed it. Even declared the entire Star Cluster a wild life preserve. Due to it being the home to an endangered species.

It actually wasn't the first time this happened. Arcosians did have a concept of nurturing endangered lifeforms.

The larger boarders were intended to allow the Saiyans to expand into the other nearby planets. It was strange, this Star Cluster had so many Habitable planets, yet nothing passed sentient animals. No Sapients, as of yet, but one Mega System showed promise. It was absolutely bubbling with radio waves, and energy signatures.

It's where Cooler was headed now. To observe the wild Sapients, maybe even tag a few. In order to observe their life cycles and primitive communities. He was, essentially, the Ranger of these worlds. Father would expect nothing less.

Kurama lifted his head, feeling... a rival. Another entity was entering his territory. Such situations were exactly why he was here. To protect the worlds within his domain. It was once again time, to prove himself worthy of his titles.

Scratching the air in front of him. His very claws slashed through the fabric of space. Creating a portal. On the other side, was a massive fleet.

Kurama licked his muzzle, in anticipation. Praying they would not go quietly. He was, after all, hungry.

Stepping through his portal, floating through the void of space. The fleet paused, seeing his mighty form. Easily as large as their mother ship. Then, with a smirk, Kurama grew even larger. Until the entire fleet was bite sized snacks in comparison. He could smell their fear, even through the void.

A flee like entity, at least in comparison, flew out of the mothership. And had the audacity to land on his nose.

"I am Kurama," The fox introduced himself. "9th demon lord, of the Shounen Mega System. 12th Refugee camp, of the 42 galaxies." He began to explain. After all, it wouldn't do not to give them a warning. The Doctor would be disappointed, if he neglected such a duty. "Guardian of this region of space, The Mighty Kyubi, and chosen Champion to the Doctor-"

"Lord of Time, and chosen of the TARDIS." Cooler nodded. You couldn't be a son of a galactic dictator, and not hear your father frequently complaining about such an Entity. The Doctor was an even larger thorn, in King Cold's side, then the thief that stole Frieza.

Regardless, acknowledging his master, caused the Demon to pause... before giving a devilish smile. "Have you come to cause trouble, little flee?" Kurama chuckled. The S ranked Demon licked his muzzle. Salivating at the idea of such a meal.

Cooler immediately backtracked. Kyubi were one of the few beings, Arcosian acknowledged as their equals... and this one felt particularly old. His every pour radiated power.

"Actually," Cooler began, "I think your god would approve of my presence here."

Kurama frowned, "Pity, I haven't eaten real meat in centuries. Not since the Daleks invaded."

Cooler kept his shock to himself. Not even his father would cross the Daleks. There was still the chance, the Kyubi was just trying to intimidate him. "I wouldn't dare interfere with what is yours, dear demon," Cooler informed. And Kurama couldn't help but huff. Clearly wanting a fight. Before the Arcosian continued. "You will be pleased to hear, the entire Star Cluster, of which your mega system inhabits, has been declared a Wildlife Preserve. My fleet will be patrolling-"

Before Cooler could fully explain, the Demon raged, "Why would that 'please' me! You'll scare away all the food!!!"

Cooler informed, "We would like to add our protections to your own. Surely your god would be in favor of that."

Kurama growled, knowing there was nothing he could do. Not without pissing off the Doctor.

"First The Uzumaki clan reclaim their heritage, and now THIS. I'm never going to eat anything but those ridiculous meat trees, ever again!!!"

Despite that not being directed at him, Cooler felt compelled to ask. "Meat trees?"

"A gift from the Doctor." Kurama snorted, "Lower Yokai tend a farming moon, where they grow globs of meat from trees. Not bad, but certainly can't compare to a fresh kill..." The Kyubi snorted. Before a thought occurred to him. "You may be able to help with something." he eyed.

"I'd be happy to," Cooler lied. Though he had been raised to respect his elders. He'd be required to help. Especially after stating he was here to help the Higher Demon. The Demon was likely testing his devotion to such a task.

"Take your pick," Kurama scuffed. "The 50 year war on Shinobi World. Yokai eating the mortals they were sworn to protect. That's an issue on nearly ALL my worlds. Or King Yama rounding up most Higher Demons, and forcing them back to demon world. I must get attacked, by Celestials, once a week. Bastard even erected a barrier, to block B or higher demons from entering our rightful territory.

"Idiot doesn't realize, the lower demons are running wild, BECAUSE we higher demons are being locked away. We no longer have the resources to keep them in line."

Cooler smiled, "gods do have a habit of that. I might not be much help, against King Yama, but my pets have been trained well. They can easily keep lower Yokai in line. Where as I, personally, should be able to punch a few holes in the barrier. As for the 50 year war... I am effectively an animal ranger. I can't interfere with disputes between lower Sapients."

Kurama snorted, "Worth a shot. Normally, I wouldn't ask such a thing. Sapients do love their wars, and if I got involved in every petty squabble-" He shuddered at the thought. "However, one of the armies is led by a master of blood magics."

Cooler's eyes widened. Demons maybe powerful, but their gifts were rooted in their blood. Making them extremely susceptible to Blood Magic.

Kurama continued, "And he has shown an... eagerness to exploit his betters."

Cooler glared, "I would be happy to remove such an insolent mortal."
