Kawaki looked at the curry in front of him, by all accounts it looked amazing, he just hesitated to eat it because it reminded him of something he didn't want to remember. Kawaki looked at the table he was sitting at
"Oii! Kawaki-kun!" a voice called out, a female one.
Kawaki looked towards where the voice was coming from. A dark green haired girl was walking towards him, being followed by an orange haired girl and a silver haired boy.
"Yo, Setsuna" he replied as she sat down at his table.
"What are you doing sitting by yourself? Trying to act all cool and delinquent like?" She asked with a teasing tone as the two others just stood there. "Oh! That's right these are my friends! The orange haired girl is Kendo-Neechan and the silver haired brick is TetsuTetsu!"
"Oi I'm not a brick!" the boy shouted back causing Setsuna to chuckle.
"Okay maybe not a brick… but a slab of steel?" She asked with a teasing grin. "And this lady and gentleman is Kaminari Kawaki"
"Yo, just call me Kawaki" the black and blonde boy replied as the two others sat down.
"So Kawaki-san, what classes do you have next period?" Kendo asked as she shoved a spoonful of curry into her face.
"Hero training with All Might" Kawaki replied as he jabbed at his curry.
"ALL MIGHT!?" the other three on the table screamed in surprise.
"Didn't you know that he teaches here now? It's on the school website" Kawaki stated with indifference as he decided to start eating the rice portion of the curry.
"Yeah I didn't even know this school had a website, that's like so 2010" Setsuna rambled causing Kawaki to snort.
"All businesses and organizations need a website" Kawaki said as he stopped eating. "How else would people get information on things?"
"Good point" Setsuna replied. "Well anyways we were discussing who our favorite heroes where, Kendo-neechan's is All Might and TetsuTetsu's is Crimson Riot, and for me it's Godzillo, what's your's Kawaki?"
Gripping his spoon slightly tighter, Kawaki mumbled out. "Electro-flight"
"Isn't she dead?" Setsuna asked, wondering why a dead hero would be Kawaki's favorite.
"Didn't she get targeted by Th-" Kendo added before Kawaki stoof up abruptly, his hair shadowing his face.
"I'm going to the bathroom" he said before walking away, leaving a confused trio of 1B students.

Kawaki looked at his costume, he smiled as it reminded him of comic book heroes from the old days. It was a navy blue slim-line fit jumpsuit that was durable enough to withstand bullets to the chest, strapped to the back of the bodysuit was a red cape, similar to the one he wore to the entrance exam, the cape was made of material that allowed it to act as an emergency gas mask, filtering out toxins. The forearms of the costume looked slightly bulkier, this was due to the titanium and carbon-fiber compound that was woven into it, acting as a brace or shield for attacks. In the middle of the suit stood a lone yellow lightning bolt that reminded Kawaki of The Flash.
Next to the costume where his gloves and boots. Yellow gloves that where designed to allow billions of vaults of electricity to pass through them. The boots where yellow like the gloves, made from the same compound that his gauntlets where made of. Yet the still seemed to look like normal superhero boots with a zip and clip added to allow Kawaki to put them on with ease.
He put the costume on and looked in the mirror before smirking. 'I look like if superman and Thor had a love child' he thought as he put the rest of his belongings into his locker and started to walk out of the changing room.
His boots echoing the concrete floor, Kawaki was walking closer to the light, closer to his first training session with All Might. He stopped at the edge of the darkness looking at all of his classmates in the light.
"C'mon Kawaki-kun!" a voice called, coming from a boy in a green tracksuit, he held his hand out inviting him to join the light.
Kawaki smirked before walking forward, stepping into the light.
He looked around at his chatting classmates, all of whom were wearing their own costumes.
He looked at the palm of his right hand, a small diamond could be seen on the glove. 'That's nifty' he thought as he looked up.
"Man I love the hero course" a small ball headed boy said with a thumbs up and a noticeable blush.
Kawaki sighed, 'everyone's thinking it but you don't need to say it aloud man'
"Kawaki-kun I didn't realize that you where muscular under the baggy clothes you wear" a female voice said from next to the black and blonde boy. "Your costume really latches onto your body yeah?"
Kawaki looked where the voice had come from and saw a floating pair of gloves and boots.
"Aren't you naked?" he asked with a deadpan, trying to shift the conversation away from his physical build.
"Yes but that's not important right now!" the girl screamed.
"Yes you all look lovely in your hero costumes, but we have a class to complete so pay attention!" The teacher in All Might shouted, getting everyone's attention.
"To start off your hero academia we are doing a classic Heroes vs Villains trial! Remember that villains that are truly smart hide in the shadows! The villain team will be hiding a mock nuclear warhead somewhere inside a building, the hero team will need to either capture the villain team or disarm the bomb in 15 minutes!" All Might explained to his new students, who started to ask a tsunami's worth of questions.
Kawaki sighed, grumbling "Maybe if you guys let him finish, All Might would explain how we are going to do the task"
It fell on deaf ears… and the questions continued causing All Might to pull out a pamphlet which Kawaki knew explained the task that they were going to complete.
"Please draw straws from this box, if you have the same letter as someone you are in a team!" All Might states as he points to one box in front of him.
Everyone hesitated, Ida asked Midoriya a question but Kawaki paid no attention to this and walked over to the box and pulled out a C.
"I'm in C team" he stated before walking back to the group, passing many people who lined up to get their letter and team.
Eventually all the teams where selected as well as their roles, (Heroes vs Villians)

Tokoyami Fumikage & Asui Tsuyu (Team H) vs. Kaminari Denki & Jiro Kyoka (Team J)
Aoyama Yuga & Ashido Mina (Team E) vs. Sato Rikido & Mineta Minoru (Team F)
'Great, I get the recommended student' Kawaki thinks as a relatively tall girl walks up to him.
Her black hair in a spiky ponytail, coal black eyes that seemed to radiate precision. Kawaki didn't dare look further down, as he saw in his peripheral vison what he would see in full HD. 'It would be rude to look down anymore' he thought as the girl bowed formaly.
"I am Yaoyorozu Momo, it is a pleasure to work with you Kaminari-san" she said in a very formal tone addressed with much respect.
Slightly overwhelmed Kawaki scratched the back of his head. "Uhhh just call me Kawaki, Yaoyorozu-san, it's easier to know which Kaminari you're talking to, you also don't have to be so formal around me… nice to team up with you"
She got up from her bow and smiled slightly. "No problem Kawaki-san"
"I guess we're first up" Kawaki said as he began walking towards the building.
"What's your quirk Kawaki-san?" Momo asked her partner, wondering how she could best plan for the defence of the warhead.
"I call it Thor…"

"What are those black marking's on Kawaki-kun's face?" Midoriya asked as the class looked at the screen. From what they could see Momo was creating car batteries, charged ones at that and Kawaki was absorbing all the energy from them, a black tattoo like pattern started to crawl up his arm until it covered his eye.
"That's what he calls his Karma" Denki stated as Midoriya furiously started to take notes. "It absorbs energy at its purest form, which is lightning, and stores it for Kawaki to use, I don't know how much he can hold but he can hold over 2.6 Million Vaults. He can used this stored energy to make himself stronger, faster and more durable… as well as discharge his stored power"
'Kind of like One for All… What a powerful quirk!' Izuku thought.
"Can he do anything else?" Izuku found himself asking.
"If there are clouds around he can somehow turn them into storm clouds and summon lightning from them" Denki explained with a hint of jealousy in his voice.
"Has he absorbed lightning into his Karma?" The green haired boy questioned again.
"Yes… multiple times as well" Kaminari stated as Izuku began to mutter aloud.
"Holy Cow! The average lightning bolt has 300 million vaults of electricity, if he has absorbed multiple bolts he can hold as much as 1.2 BILLION VAULTS or more!" Izuku said aloud.
"HOLY CRAP!" the entire class screamed in sync.
'Such a powerful quick Kawaki-shonen has!' All Might thought. 'It's a godsend that All for One didn't get his hands on this boy'

"Okay, 10 batteries should do the trick" Kawaki said as he clenched his fist, looking at his markings on his hand and arm.
Kawaki breathed outwards before quoting his favourite philosopher "To know your Enemy, you must become your Enemy."
"Sun Tzu, Art of War" Momo replied as she stacked another metal block onto her barricade device.
"You like philosophy?" Kawaki asked as he walked over to his partner who created another metal block with her quirk.
"I have read the art of war and it does seem very applicable to heroics" she said as she struggled to stack the metal plate.
Kawaki floated up and took the plate before placing it into the top of the device. "You should rest, your quirk usage must have drained you" Kawaki said as he floated back down.
Momo panted and wiped some sweat off of her forehead. "Creating car batteries with energy takes more lipids than I thought"
"You have snacks?" Kawaki asked, thinking this to be a way to replenish her energy.
"Not at the moment" she admitted, taking a seat on the ground.
"I'll get you some after we finish" Kawaki said as the buzzer to start the trail went off.
"You don't have to" Momo said in protest but Kawaki chuckled in response.
"You scratch my back I scratch yours… you gave me energy and I will give you energy" Kawaki said as he could hear loud footsteps coming up towards them.
"If you insist" Momo replied, caving in to Kawaki's need to repay her back.
"HERE I COME!" a loud voice shouted from the other side of the barricade. A large thud was heard and felt by the two villains.
"OUCH! WHAT'S THIS THING MADE OF?" the same voice said, causing Momo to smile.
Kawaki walked up to the barricade and put his right hand on it as another thump was heard. Kawaki smiled as he released up some of his stored up energy into the metal barricade, making it electrified.
A scream could be heard from the other side of the barricade.
"How much time do we have left?" Kawaki asked as Momo pulled out a watch.
"13 minutes and 57 seconds" she said getting Kawaki to nod.
"It's the most tactical thing to stay-" Kawaki was explaining as a figure barged through the now broken barricade.
The figure was all charred and panting. "That… won't… stop… me!" he said before Kawaki kicked him in the head, knocking him out.
'one down' Kawaki thought as he found himself wrapped up in tape.
Kawaki looked at the door and found Sero standing there with tape coming out of his arm.
"Not so invulnerable now are we Kawaki?" he mocked.
In response Kawaki smirked. "All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near."
"What?" Sero replied as the taped up Kawaki began to float in the air.
"It's a quote from Sun Tzu from The Art of War" Kawaki explained as he flew over to Sero, using his flight component of his quirk.
Kawaki's shoulder flew straight into Sero's mask.
"Improvised move! Lightning Body!" Kawaki exhaled in a low tone as his entire being was enveloped in electricity, which quickly spread to Sero.

"Next time you fight Kawaki-kun, please try to not electrify the daylights out of your classmates" All Might requested as two boys where sent to the nurse's office.
Kawaki nodded before walking away, he needed to fulfil his end of the bargain didn't he?
