Story start:
It was night time by the time Eli and Ginga reached their destination.
Eli turned off the road and into a parking lot before turning off the engine and getting out.
Ginga also stepped out.
"Welcome to U's," Eli pointed to a subway station entrance.
"It's not what I was expecting," replied Ginga.
"That's the idea," Eli walked through the door.
Ginga followed.
"The Grongis are among us Ginga, they are killing mankind," explained Eli as she opened a ticket booth and pressed a button on the register. "The world is asleep, brainwashed and helpless," part of the wall moved, revealing a tunnel. "We're fighting back!"
The two walked through a short tunnel as the wall slid back into place.
"We are a small handful of freedom fighters, we are the first, last and only line of defence," explained Eli as she led Ginga through a room where several open were working on computers.
"'Defence'?" asked Ginga. "You got no chance."
"We don't leave things to chance!" snapped Eli before calming herself. "We have collected vast intelligence on the Grongis and those who collaborate with them, we can hit them where it hurts!"
Eli lead Ginga through a door into a room with a single occupant.
The woman had fair skin, bright-brown eyes and neck length brown hair. She wore a yellow shirt, a brown jacket, brown jeans and black dress shoes.
But her face, it was as if Ginga was looking in a mirror.
"Incredible," muttered the woman. "Ginga, its really you," she greeted.
Ginga shrugged.
The woman tilted her head. "You don't remember me," it was more of a statement than a question.
"No, should I?" replied Ginga.
"How much of your childhood do you remember?" asked the woman.
A bit ticked off that she didn't get an answer, Ginga replied. "Not much, I was sick when I was five, whipped my memory, why?"
"Ha!" scoffed the woman. "They told me I was in a car crash that resulted in total memory loss, age? Five."
"Your point?" demanded Ginga after several seconds.
"The sickness on your file is a human aflection," explained the woman as she walked forwards. "You are not human, so you cannot be affected by it."
"Back up a second, who are you?" asked Ginga.
The woman backed up. "My name is Hanayo, I created U's to help fight the Grongis."
"You really think you can make a dent?" asked Ginga.
"Make a dent?" asked Hanayo. "With the two of us working together, I believe we can win the war!"
"So that's what this is about!" exploded Ginga. "You need me to help stop the Grongis, help save the world!"
"What else were you planning on doing with your life?" asked Hanayo.
"Look, you people seem cool, but I've got a lot of trust issues and I like to work alone," explained Ginga as she turned away.
Eli stepped forwards. "Ginga, I don't think you understand what is at state here!"
Hanayo held up a hand, stopping her. "If you want to turn your back on me, turn your back on the world, then I'm powerless to stop you, but you will be making a big mistake. Not just for yourself, but for mankind."
Ginga looked back. "Mankind?"
"Yes!" replied Hanayo.
"What makes you think I give a s**t?" Ginga turned away.
"At least let me show you," begged Hanayo.
"Show me what?" asked Ginga.
"Who you really are," replied Hanay.
Hook.
Line.
And sinker.
Next day:
After a sleep, Eli's car was driven into the grounds of a mansion.
Or at least what had once been a mansion.
It looked like a freaking war had taken place!
"This was your home," explained Hanayo as she entered the remains of an entrance hall.
"I don't remember," replied Ginga.
"You will," Hanayo turned to Eli. "Get the gateway ready!" she ordered.
Eli nodded and got down on the ground, she formed several gesture and slammed her hands onto the ground, a circle forming from green light.
"What are you doing?" asked Ginga in confusion.
"Our dimension and the pocket dimension that the Grongi's use to trap people are very closely positioned. They collide in places, making what we call portals. I can open these portals, making doors to and from the pocket dimension," explained Eli. She moved her hands off the ground slowly, when the circle didn't vanish she got back up. "It's ready," she reported to Hanayo.
"Go ahead," Hanayo pointed to the circle. "The house has secrets, I've found mine, now it's your turn."
"How do I get back?" asked Ginga.
"Just backtrack your way back to the circle," explained Hanayo.
Ginga nodded and stepped onto the circle.
"Be careful, it can get rough in there," warned Eli.
"I like it rough," replied Ginga as she vanished.
"Are you sure this is going to work?" asked Eli. "She doesn't seem to care!"
"She's raw, just like you were when I first found you," pointed out Hanayo.
Eli looked at the ground and blushed.
Meanwhile, in the pocket dimension:
Ginga appeared in a corridor and darted forwards, arriving in a second entrance hall.
"So this was my home?" she looked around.
The entrance hall was a square-shaped room with a staircase on the far wall that split in half, leading to a pair of balconies that hugged the two long walls of the room. The right staircase led to a wall while the other led to a blank wall.
"Well, show me your secrets!" Ginga ran up the right staircase and arrived in front of a door. She opened it and ran through a short corridor before arriving in a study.
"I remember this place," she muttered as her memories pulled up the images of red curtains, sofas, chairs, tables, book cases and desks.
At the end of the room was a portatre of a woman in a black suit. The walls around the picture were burned black and the face had been clawed off.
Ginga approached it. "Who the heck are you?" she asked. Then she looked at the nameplate on the bottom of picture.
"'Haruka'?" she read. Then her eyes went wide as she remembered what the Wolf Grongi had called her. Her head snapped back up to the picture. "My mum?!" she demanded in shock.
Suddenly, the black rock barriers came up.
A new type of Drone Grongi arrived.
She was made of black armor with a shield in her right hand that had spikes on it and her head looked like a hedgehog.
She is a Hedgehog Drone Grongi.
"F*****g Grongis," growled Ginga. "Let's go!"
Let the battle begin!
Ginga called out the Kuuga Driver and slammed it onto her waist. The belt shot out and locked it onto her waist. KUUGA DRIVER! Ginga held out her left glove and summoned the Drill Color Marker, the Color Marker that she had gotten from beating the Wolf Grongi. She hit the button. DRILL! A point came from the bottom of the Drill Color Marker with the screen now displaying the word 'DRILL' in white letters. She loaded it into the Kuuga Driver's Color Marker Slot. COLOR SELECT! YELLOW! Ginga growled. "Henshin!" she grabbed the lever and pumped it forwards, making the light turn on, now it glowed bright-yellow. PIERCE THE GROUND WITH YOUR MIGHT! Ginga's body transformed as her armor and bodysuit folded out from her belt.
First, her skin was covered by a pitch-black bodysuit with attached gloves and boots of the same color.
She now wore a bright-yellow chestplate that covered her torso. A hollowed out bronze square was on each side of the chestplate with the insides of them joined together.
Bright-yellow circle-shaped shoulder paludrons covered her shoulders with bright-silver drills coming from the outside of them.
Bright-yellow armor wrapped around her uppers arms and covered her elbows. Bright-yellow armor wrapped around her forearms, then extended over her wrists, hands and end at her finger tips.
Bright-yellow armor covered the sides of her torso, her hips, wrapped around her upper and lower legs. The yellow armor covered the front of her knees as well as the top and sides of her boots.
There was a bright-bronze drill bit coming from her knee armor, her elbow armor and the back of her boots.
She now wore a pitch-black helmet with a silver mouth guard, between her visors was a bright-bronze rhino beetle horn with a bright-yellow gem in the centre of it, the horn split into two above her visors. Her eyes were covered by a pair of bright-yellow, circle-shaped, visors.
She held out her right glove and a sword appeared. The handle was black with a Color Marker Slot for a guard. The blade was styled after a rapier with four sections, each getting thinner, the last section was a cone.
Ginga tensed as she felt herself merge with the suit.
She was now Kamen Rider Colors, Drill Shade and was armed with the Drill Caliber. YELLOW DRILL!
Colors gripped the Kuuga Driver's lever and pushed it forwards. ONE PAINTING! Color turned her right glove into a fist and formed a drill construct around it. The Porcupine Drone charged with a shield bash. Only for Color's fist to smash through the shield and destroy her.
Colors removed the Drill Color Maker from the Color Driver's Color Marker Slot and pushed the pump forwards. "DE-HENSHIN!" she was covered by a bright-yellow light that transformed her back into Ginga.
Battle ended!
With the battle over, Ginga walked back to the painting. She noticed a small glowing circle, about the size of her palm, on the bottom of the paint's frame.
Curiosity getting the better of her, she reached out and placed her palm on the circle. "What the?!" shouted Ginga as her hand was yanked the last few inches.
She tried to pull her hand back but could not, energy lanced up her arm and into the Color Scythe as it appeared on her back, transforming it into the Color gauntlet.
It was bright-yellow and wrapped around her lower right forearm, covering the back of her hand and extending over her knuckles.
"Neat!" coming Ginga as she was now able to pull her hand back.
She ran out of the second door and into another corridor.
"Woah!" shouted Ginga as the floor opened under her boots and she landed down on the next floor. "Either this place is messing with me, or it took more damage than we thought," she grumbled.
It took a bit of searching around, but she quickly found another collapsed bit of ceiling that let her jump back to the floor she was originally on.
Now she was back in the entrance hall.
"I've gone in one big circle?" Ginga questioned as she scratched her head.
The barriers came up.
A Wolf Drone Grongi exploded out of the ground.
"Let's go!" shouted Ginga.
Let the battle begin!
Ginga summoned the Kuuga Driver and placed it onto her waist. The belt shot out and locked it onto her waist. KUUGA DRIVER! Ginga held out her left glove and summoned the Laser Color Marker She hit the button. LASER! A point came from the bottom of the Laser Color Marker with the screen now displaying the word 'LASER' in white letters. She loaded it into the Kuuga Driver's Color Marker Slot. COLOR SELECT! CYAN! Ginga smirked. "Henshin!" she grabbed the lever and pumped it forwards, making the light turn on, now it glowed cyan blue. SPEEDING AWAY WITH LIGHT! Ginga was covered in cyan-blue energy. Then it shattered off her, revealing Kamen Rider Color. CYAN LASER! S
Colors pressed the Kuuga Driver's lever forwards once. ONE PAINTING! The Wolf Drone Grongi lunged with a right slash. Color turned into a laser and zipped forwards. She appeared inside the Drone Grongi's reach and turned back to solid matter, she punched the Drone Grongi in the face and caused her to explode.
Colors removed the Laser Color Maker from the Color Driver's Color Marker Slot and pushed the pump forwards. "DE-HENSHIN!" she was covered by a cyan-blue light that transformed her back into Ginga.
Battle ended!
Suddenly, she heard childish laughter. "Who's there?!" shouted Ginga.
Up on the left balcony was a pair of children that were ghosts, sword fighting.
"Come on, Ginga!" cheered one of them. "This way."
"Okay! Raw! Can't catch me!" cheered the other as she ran through the door.
"'Ginga'? Did I hear that right?" asked Ginga as she followed them through the door.
Now she was in a bedroom.
Ginga looked around and saw the two ghosts crawl under the bed. "That was me, I remember this!" she reached under the bed and pulled out a small wooden shield.
The barriers came up.
"That was fast!" commented Ginga.
A new type of Grongi appeared.
She was identical to a Hedgehog Drone Grongi, only her eyes were glowing red.
She is a Hedgehog Grongi.
Let the battle begin!
Next time!
To be continued!
