Chapter 3
Garcia called Hotch down to her Lair with some urgency. Hotch walked through the door ten minutes later and jumped when Garcia slammed the door shut and locked it.
"Garcia!" He scolded
" Sorry, I checked on Prentiss as you asked, everything checked out. I dug a little deeper don't ask how and found four years of her past was a total fabrication. A damn good fabrication, even I can't get into the files they are Uber secure. She has had payments totalling 3.5 million dollars payed into her account from a Lauren Reynolds over the past 2 years. She then transfers it to an offshore account in the Isle of Man. I have only been able to hack a small portion of the account, she withdrew $100,000.00 two days ago in cash. It's a lot of money for a FBI agent." Garcia smiled at Hotch, she never liked that Prentiss woman after she got her Derek hurt.
Hotch pondered things for a moment and quickly asked Rossi to come down to Garcia's lair
"Can you get full access to her accounts Garcia?" He inquired
Garcia nodded "just don't ask me how I did it." She smiled
Rossi walked into Garcia's lair to find Hotch leaning over the computer guru reading her screen. They filled Rossi in on what Garcia had found during her legal and illegal check on Emily Prentiss.
"We carry on as planned, we will wait to see what Reid and Morgan find before we pull Prentiss in for questioning. Some thing is definitely not right with her Dave I just don't know what yet." He told everyone
EJ
Emily waited for Jennifer to open her front door, she could hear the kids laughing as their mother tried wrangling them.
Flash back
"Hi, My name is Jennifer Jareau they call me JJ. I sort all your paperwork out and chase you up for late files as well." Smiled JJ shaking Emily's hand
Emily was momentarily shocked looking at the blonde blue eyed media liaison. Jennifer's handshake acted like a defibrillator to her heart. It was throbbing in her chest every part of her body felt alive.
"Nice to meet you Jennifer, I'm Emily, Emily Prentiss the new Profiler." Emily managed to stutter. She was bewitched by this golden goddess
Whilst Jennifer explained the paperwork she would need to fill out, Emily was only partially listening as she was lost gazing at her face and into those cobalt blue eyes. It had been just over 4 years since she had the companionship of a female, but Jennifer Jareau was perfect. She was affecting Emily in ways no one ever had.
End Flashback
Emily smiled at the thought of that first day, her first mistake was solely her fault and not Lauren's. she had been so bewitched by Jennifer she had incorrectly completed some forms and incurred the wrath of Hotch for the first time. The door opened bringing Emily back to the present
"Emily, what a nice surprise please come in." Smiled JJ
Emily walked into an ambush of children "Aunt Em." They cried as they both collided with her legs knocking her to the floor.
"I hate these little brats." Moaned Lauren
Emily smiled to herself as she picked the kids up and stood up.
"I've come to see if I can treat the three of you to pizza? as I'm going away to visit my mother for a week." Smiled Emily
"Smooth Prentiss, but did you forget to mention about never ever returning from your 'mothers' because you might be dead or a homicidal maniac or hopefully my personal favourite Lauren Reynolds. I told you Emily I will take blondie with me hopefully you'll still be in here somewhere so I can still screw with you." Lauren taunts
"PIZZA! PIZZA!" Two excited children scream
JJ calms them down and puts them in their play room while she talks to Emily
"I didn't know you had any leave booked." JJ questioned
"My mother is not very well, so I offered to stay with her and look after her." Smiled Emily, being deceitful was easy for Lauren thankfully.
"I'm so sorry Emily." JJ hugged her friend
Both women shuddered slightly from the contact.
"Common let's feed the hungry hoard, before they make us walk the plank." Smiled Emily
"They haven't stopped talking about your play date. We will all do it again when your back. According to Lizzy and Henry, I can't make a pirate fort like their aunt Em." Smiled JJ
Emily suddenly felt like JJ had kicked her in the stomach and ripped her heart out. She realised at that moment she did really love the three Jareau's heart and soul. If only there was a way to come back to them she could definitely see her self with Jennifer and the kids as a family.
Dream
Emily and Lizzy helped Henry push the tied prisoner onto the plank and pushed her towards the end with their foam swords.
"Any last words Captain JJ?" the pirate queen Lizzy asked
"I'll never tell you where my treasure is." Laughed JJ
"Found it my Queen." Yelled Henry as he pulled out the hidden supper soaker.
"Pirate Emily, make her walk the plank, no mercy." Announces pirate queen Lizzy
Emily pushes Captain JJ towards the end of the spring board.
"Sweetheart if you push me in I will hurt you..." Captain JJ is silenced by the push of Emily's sword and she plunges into the pool with a large splash
Emily offers her hand to JJ to help her out the pool but JJ just pulled her into the water laughing. The two pull themselves out the water laughing. Suddenly they are squashed by two excited kids
"Mama, mom I'm hungry." Shouted Lizzy
"Anything for you my little pirate queen." Smiled Emily
End dream
Emily smiled as she felt a warmth in her heart, married to Jennifer helping her bring up the kids.. she realised that would be perfect. That moment was going to be her safe place for the procedure, at least she would die happy.
EJ
They finished their Pizza and played for a while before Emily told everyone she needed to go. JJ escorted Emily to the door.
Emily closed her eyes and sighed, she turned and brought JJ into her chest and placed a gentle and light kiss to her lips. Emily could feel the pleasure she was experiencing all over her body and she couldn't get enough, it was so addictive. JJ pulled Emily closer and deepened the kiss gently caressing her bottom lip with her tongue begging for access. Emily opened her mouth and allowed JJ access. After a while both women rested their foreheads together breathing heavily.
Emily pulled away from JJ and smiled and looked her in her enchanting blue eyes.
"I love you Jennifer, I have since the day we met. I am so sorry." Emily turned and ran out to her SUV. Tears falling down her cheeks. JJ had been her only true friend for nearly 5 years, she was heart broken. But she couldn't get her JJ mixed up in her mess.
JJ stood with her hand pressed against her lips smiling. Henry brought her back to reality by pulling on her trouser leg.
" Mom why is aunty Em sad?" Henry asked
"Her mummy is ill Henry. So she is very sad." JJ managed to reply

Emily sat crying at her desk in the Condo, she so wanted to tell her everything and stay the night just cuddling.
"Your a bitch Reynolds, look at me." Emily screamed at Lauren.
Emily had two more large brandy's and got her self ready for the nights confinement. She had just secured both wrists to the magnets and sighed knowing there wasn't going to be any sleep again tonight. Her mind was too busy fighting for control with Lauren and the sadness of what could have been with Jennifer and the kids.
"Why run away? I wouldn't mind watching a little girl on girl once Emily. I would have behaved myself for you." Laughed Lauren
"Your not getting anywhere near them." Snarled Emily
The two women continued to argue while Emily laid secured to her bed.
EJ
JJ sat confused on her chair in her bedroom, she had just put Henry to bed. She was so confused she wanted Emily to stay she felt the same. She loved how Emily played with her children as if they where her own. Her touch made her feel alive in a way she hadn't felt since William died.
"No Way!" JJ muttered.
She arranged for her next door neighbour to watch the children, she needed to speak to Emily. She just hoped Emily would open the door.
45 minutes later she walked past the concierge at the desk, he waved as she passed. JJ wondered what she was doing, she didn't do this she wasn't 16 years old. JJ's internal argument was stopped when the lift stopped at Emily's floor.
"Jareau, your here know, woman up and go and knock on her damn door." She told herself
JJ rang the bell and knocked on the condo door and waited, she tried several more times as she could hear Emily's cell phone ringing from inside.
"Stubborn woman!" JJ muttered
She pulled some paper out of her purse and jotted a note down for Emily. She bent down to slide it under her door holding onto the door knob when it turned and opened as it wasn't locked. JJ switched into FBI mode and pulled her weapon out and entered the dark condo. She slowly cleared the ground floor finding nothing.
She was halfway up the stairs when she heard Emily arguing. JJ stood outside the door and slowly turned the door knob and flung the door open.
"FBI freeze!" JJ yelled
"EMILY!" Cried JJ "who did this to you?, I will untie you." JJ told her
"NO! What ever you do do not let me loose. Dammit Jennifer!" Emily shouted banging her head into her pillow
"She looks hot with her gun out Emily, I think she needs to release us." Smirked Lauren
JJ looked at Emily with a very confused and concerned face.
"Who? What? Why?" JJ blurted out
"Dammit Jennifer! why did you have to come and see me like this?" Cried a very embarrassed Emily
JJ carefully sat down on Emily's bed and kissed her gently on her lips and placed her forehead carefully onto Emily's. Suddenly Lauren took the chance to head butt JJ striking her just above her left eye.
"Let me go Blondie!" Shrieked a desperate Lauren
JJ held her bleeding eyebrow stepping away from the bed in shock at not just the unprovoked attack but the sudden change in her Emily. She wanted to run out her condo but something kept her rooted to the spot.
"God dammit Jennifer, stay away from me, Lauren is desperate to get away before I undergo my procedure. That's one of the reasons I'm secured to my bed at night so I can protect you and the kids. Sit down and I will explain everything to you, but you will hate me when I've finished." Tears streamed down Emily's face as she told JJ
JJ nodded as she tried to stop the bleeding from her eye. She wrapped a bandage around her forehead to stop the bleeding and sat down at Emily's side and nodded for her to begin.
"I took on a deep cover assignment as an arms dealer called Lauren Reynolds, she was a Evil, evil woman no body stood in her way. I was trained to slut myself out to ensnare a man to get to a truly evil man called Valhalla. As it turned out the man they sent me to was actually this Valhalla, I became trapped by my own success. So for the next three years I stopped arms dealers and terrorists. I was trapped until I forced them to release me back to my normal life. Unfortunately I had been Lauren Reynolds too long and her persona is a separate entity shared in my brain. Both personalities are in a constant battle to be dominate. At first Lauren only took charge when I was drunk then recently she has been taking charge at night when Emily is asleep. She is starting to become the dominate personality and Emily is loosing control." Emily stopped to compose her self. "The reason I struggled with my 6 months with the BAU was Lauren, she hated working with 'goody two-shoes' and undermined me at every step she could. I have found a possible treatment but it's very experimental and illegal. I have a 1in 5 chance of surviving, if I survive the outcome is not guaranteed Both personalities will be dominate or will merge into one totally new personality. If it works and Emily Prentiss survives I will have to disappear and you will never see me again. I can't tell you any more Jennifer please don't ask me any more, just know I love you and Henry and Lizzy you have helped me through the last few months, you have been my only true friend in 5 months, thank you." Emily was sobbing now.
JJ looked down at Emily opened mouthed having listened to what her friend had been through. Emily looked at Jennifer waiting for her to speak but JJ just stood and then ran out her bedroom. She heared her run brown the stairs and slam her front door.
"Argh, trouble in paradise Emily? Good job you didn't mention your 8 murders and the fact Hotch is on to you. Now that could have been a tad difficult. I guess your love is just not reciprocated. I bet you could really do with a brandy just about now?" Lauded Lauren
EJ
JJ started driving home after Emily's bombshell confession, she had to pullover to the side of the road she was having trouble seeing the road she was crying too hard. She had just put her car in park and rested her head on the wheel when her cell phone rang
"JAREAU!" She yelled as she answered
"JJ it's Hotch are you ok?" Hotch asked very concerned
"What do you want sir?" She answered sharply
"I need to see you in my office first thing in the morning I need to brief you on something. 8:00 sharp." He ordered
"I'll see you in the morning Hotch, good night." JJ ended the call
