A/N: Hello again! Welcome to the second chapter. So, there was another thing that i forgot to explain. The reaction and the "show" aren't separated by plain text and bold text because i write using Google Docs. I write in Bold in Google Docs, but when i pass the chapter to the Documents Manager, it's go back to the plain text. And i don't have temper to rewrite everything in bold text again. Saying this, stay with the chapter.

"Assassins and Templars?" Robyn asked with raised eyebrows.

"Originally known as The Hidden Ones and The Order of the Elders respectively. Two ancient secret organizations that have been in a secret war for a long time. The Assassins believe that everyone has the right to free will, while the Templars believe that humanity is corrupt and weak. incapable to come together and live together, so they think it needs to be controlled. " Shiro replied with a big smile. The plot between Assassins and Templars was one of his favorite things in the multiverse.

"So this is what you mean that this universe is relative between right and wrong. We are going to see different points of view." Ozma commented.

"Exactly! Believe me, this universe is going to be very interesting."

Creed of Grimms

Chapter 1 - The Creed

A few weeks ago, SDC's entertainment division announced Helix, a cloud-based software capable of simulating the genetic memory of several individuals throughout history. With advertising-based narratives for SDC's profit and delivered to the public via console game style for a cheap price.

Oobleck was smiling from ear to ear when he saw the pop-up that informed about the Helix.

"A device capable of simulating memories of individuals from the past? Incredible! Imagine the possibilities!" Oobleck said with sparkles in his eyes, leaving everyone with a sweatdrop.

"I admit... This is interesting. My great-grandfather was a hero of the Great War, I always wondered what his life was like." Jaune said.

A mutual thought crossed Emerald and Mercury's mind. ' 'Maybe it will help me find out about my/my parents/mom.' Emerald and Mercury thought respectively.

But that was just what was said to the public, under the hood, there was so much more. With the headsets that SDC itself created for Helix, they were able to collect the genetic memories of people using Helix. And many of the memories made available were extremely edited to prevent the public from knowing the truth about the secret war that has been going on in Remnant for a long time.

The Assassins against the Templars. All the memories made available were of Assassins and Templars throughout history, but SDC made a point of making Assassins bad people and Templars as heroes.

The real memories, only selected employees could access, because with the real ones, they could pursue their true purpose. The Pieces of Eden.

"Okay, it's pretty obvious that the SDC is a front for the Templars. I have a bad feeling." Weiss said.

"You are not the only one, sister." Whitley said with an idea of what could happen.

"Ugh… Jacques, what can you have done this time?" Willow murmured in disappointment and regret.

"So, I just need to break into the servers, download the real memories and leave?"

"To put it briefly and simply, that's right. I know you are usually the one who does the assassinations while Blake and Illia work on espionage and infiltration, but they are on other missions."

"And what missions would these be?"

"Blake traveled to Vale, direct orders from Mentor Ozpin. I only know that. Illia already traveled to Argus in an attempt to contact that group called Dedsec."

"Do we no longer have the Initiates?"

"We do. But the one who understands ctOS is Dedsec."

"Fair enough."

The audience was unable to identify the two people talking, as they were inside a car and the audio was too muffled to identify by the voice, the only thing they identified was that it was a male voice and the other female voice.

"Whoever these two are, they are probably Assassins, which means that Blake and I are, too." Illia commented. "Ozpin must be someone in a high position considering the title they used."

"But who are the Initiates and Dedsec? And what is ctOS?" Blake asked.

"Initiates are another division of the Assassins, while Dedsec is a hacker group. CtOS, Central Operating System, is a very complex interconnection of electronic systems, such as computer systems, sensors and databases, which interact to manage the entire infrastructure of a city. Practically everything is controlled and connected to ctOS, which makes it the biggest weakness of cities. Many companies and criminal organizations take advantage to profit from it, and Blume, the corporation responsible for ctOS, even does business with these companies and criminal organizations. " Shiro replied.

Much of the audience trembled, so Ironwood asked in horror. "How many ctOS is deployed in cities?"

"Considering that this universe does not have Grimms and Remnant is much more expanded, almost everyone. Only a few exceptions, such as Menagerie and Patch."

"By Oum… Do people even have privacy in this world?" Glynda asked in shock.

"This is a time bomb." Watts said. "This is a great advantage and disadvantage for Remnant. While doing so would make my job a lot easier... It's too risky."

A male figure got out of the car. A young adult with spiked red hair, blue eyes, lightly tanned skin and bull horns on his head. He wore a black blazer with a red tie, black gloves, sunglasses and a fedora.

"Well, time to work. Thanks for the ride, Yang."

In the car was a blonde with long hair up to her waist, violet eyes and lightly tanned skin. She wore simple casual clothes at the moment.

"You're welcome, Adam. Don't forget, we have a meeting with Sienna this week."

"ADAM?! YANG?!" RWB, Tai and Raven shouted at the same time.

"I didn't expect this, I admit." Sienna commented. "Especially considering what happened between Adam and Yang from our dimension."

"As we said, endless possibilities." Black shrugged.

"I'm counting the chapters for the bastard to stab me in the back." Yang said in a snarl, receiving an irritated glare from Adam.

"You literally stabbed me in the back at that waterfall, Xiao Long."

"And it was still too little, Taurus." Yang replied angrily.

"Listen, I already admitted, I did a lot of shit, but at no time did I say shit about you here."

"I'm just telling you the truth. I heard you killed Sienna Khan, I'm surprised that she's so calm with you here."

"That's because Adam and I already settled on this when we were dead." Sienna interfered. "We're here to have a second chance and change Remnant, why are you insisting on the past, Xiao Long? Didn't you and Blake kill Adam? What reason do you have for insisting on this?" Sienna questioned.

"Because he is the cause not only of my problems, but of thousands of people in Remnant." Yang responded with venom in her voice.

"Emerald too. But you are already accepting her in your little group." Adam pointed out in a mocking tone. "I have nothing against you, Xiao Long. I have no reason and desire to go on a quest for revenge like before. I want to change, but it doesn't mean that I need to put up with you."

"Oh, yeah? You can come, Taurus. I beat you once, I can do it again." Yang teased.

"If I remember correctly, you won WITH Blake. In fact, as far as I was informed, most of the fights you won were with Blake after you two met again in Mistral. And in the few where you won without her, it was against Grimms. So…" A mocking smile broke across his face. "You don't do much against talented fighters without Blake at your side. What a dependency."

"Okay, you asked!" Yang advanced on Adam, ready to punch him in the face. A black blur came from the bottom of the seats to the front of Adam, then grabbed Yang's fist. It was Black.

"Okay, no fights. Although I love to see you fight…" He receives a glare from Shiro and Red. "We are not here for this."

Shiro got up from his seat and approached Adam, Yang and Black. "He's right. As i said, you may not like it, but everyone is capable of redemption." Shiro looked at Yang. "As Oscar said, you don't have to forgive, but at least accept what happened."

"... Why redeem the dead?" Yang asked. "No offense, Hazel."

"None taken. In fact, I have that question, too." Hazel looked at Shiro.

"Who said you were going to stay dead when this was over?" Red questioned, making a glimmer of hope appear in the eyes of many.

"What do you mean by that?" Yang asked.

"Secret." Red replied with a sly smile.

"Anyway, considering that you and Adam are not on the best terms ..." Shiro sighed. "I planned to have the first intermission after the third universe, but we will have it after we finish this one."

"Now, Yang, get back in your seat. We have a universe to watch." Black said. Yang followed the order, snarling.

"I know. See you at the meeting."

Adam went to an SDC building, escaping the winter cold in Vale, then went to the receptionist. "Good afternoon, I have a meeting with Director Clay Sandstone. I'm from Blume, I'm here to discuss the issues of using ctOS 3.0."

"Oh, yes! Jet Currant, right? I was informed of your visit. He is waiting for you." The receptionist handed him a green card. "Due to internal incidents, some areas that are normally free are blocked by access cards. This is a tier 1, delivered to regular visitors and staff now. You can reach Director Sandstone's office with one."

"Thank you very much."

"Strange. Considering that they are having internal problems to the point of blocking certain areas that are not normally blocked, I would expect the receptionist to at least confirm his identity." Illia commented.

"I need to remember to thank Ruby for manipulating the receptionists' shifts. The new ones really don't try to confirm identities." Adam murmured.

"Oh. That explains it." Illia said with a sweatdrop.

"Manipulated? Am I a hacker?" Ruby questioned.

"It seems so. It even makes sense." Weiss commented.

Adam headed for the elevator, but instead of going to the thirteenth floor, he went to the terrace. "Today is not your day, Sandstone. The Brotherhood has higher priorities at the moment."

Upon arriving on the terrace, Adam stepped out of the elevator and put a finger to his ear, switching on a communicator.

"Ruby, how's the progress with the package?"

Ruby Rose's voice came from the communicator. "Drone coming in a minute. I hope you're not afraid of heights."

"Am I a kind of... Intelligence support?" Ruby questioned, turning her head to the side.

"Well, yes and no. When you are not on field missions, you are supporting other Assassins." Shiro replied.

"If I had, I wouldn't have been able to do the Leap of Faith at the initiation." Adam said, laughing.

"Yeah, I know. Ah, while you were waiting for the drone, I heard Illia was sent to contact Dedsec. Is it true?" Ruby asked curiously.

"Yes. And if all goes well, we will have a new division."

"I wonder if anyone else joined the group after I left to join the Brotherhood…"

"Wait, are you a former Dedsec?" Adam asked, surprised.

"Of course! You know all that scandal about the Merigolds embezzling money that should go to charity, but it was going into their pocket and funding Faunus trafficking? It was me who leaked the information! Ah... Good times." Ruby sighed in happiness.

Everyone looked at Ruby, who was nervous and hid her face with her hood.

"You know, May would probably thank you for doing this." Robyn said.

"Me too." Sienna said. "It sure helped the Faunus a lot, Rose. I appreciate that."

"Agreed." Adam said with a smile. "Good job, Ruby Rose."

"They are right, beautiful work." Illia commented.

"Well... I didn't really do it, it was an alternative version of me." Ruby said, embarrassed.

"But it's still you, Ruby." Weiss said, smiling at Rose. "Just the fact that you still want to help other people, even in other dimensions, proves a lot."

"I must agree, Ruby." Penny joined. "You are always willing to help others, no matter how serious the situation. This is something to be admired."

"... Thank you, Penny. Thank you, Weiss." Ruby said with a smile, lowering the hood.

'So cute...' Weiss and Penny thought at the same time, blushing.

In the background, Shiro smiled when he saw the redness on Weiss and Penny's cheeks. 'Just wait until I show a universe where these three are together. The reaction will be wonderful.'

"Was that you?!" Adam was in shock.

"Not only that! I was the one who leaked information about that Atlas hotel that used child labor, as well as that circle of human trafficking in a rural area in the south of Mistral. Oh! Do you remember the former CEO of Blume at the time of ctOS 2.0? Who had a lot of information leaked about illegal business, corruption and everything else that corporate idiots can do badly? I leaked it! I got the information when Dedsec and I managed to hack Blume's central servers. We called it "Operation Hack the World." And we managed, for a few minutes, to have access to all the information on Remnant." Ruby said, proud in her voice.

Everyone gaped. Access to all information in Remnant… Even for a few minutes, this is something incredible and terrifying.

Wow, Pipsqueak." Qrow whistled. "I'm glad you and Dedsec didn't use that access for bad things. This is quite an achievement."

Cinder's eyes widened slightly when she heard about the hotel in Atlas and the human trafficking in the south of Mistral. This means that they still existed in this universe until about a few years ago, and in hers universe, she destroyed both. Didn't she go through any of that in that universe?

Adam was gaping. "So this is why you are considered the best in Intelligence in the Brotherhood? Damn…" Adam saw a large drone approaching with a box. "Package coming. If Dedsec is like you, having them on our side is definitely an advantage. I hope Illia can do it."

"She'll probably make it... As long as she can handle the personalities in that group." Ruby commented in a tone of nervousness. "You can take the package. I will take the drone back."

"... should I worry?" Adam asked, taking the package from the drone, which left shortly thereafter.

"In the worst case, she can lose some of her sanity." Ruby said nonchalantly.

"... I would like to ask, but I don't know if I should."

"Believe me, it is better if you don't know."

Illia swallowed. "I am afraid."

"Ruby, what kind of friends do you have in this universe?" Tai asked.

"I don't know! How am I supposed to guess what the other me is doing?" Ruby said with horror.

"Anyway... I'll keep you updated." Adam said, opening the package. Inside the package was a Hard Light Dust blade, a pen drive-like device, a custom tactical mask, a pair of hidden blades, a silenced pistol, some ammo cartridges, climbing equipment, climbing ropes and EMP grenades.

Adam took off his Fedora and sunglasses, revealing the burned SDC logo on his left eye. He put on the mask, took the knife, put the device in his pocket, put the pistol, fitted the hidden blades and put the grenades in the inner blazer pockets.

Whitley, Willow, Weiss and Winter covered their mouths with their hands, shocked to see the SDC logo on Adam's face. Ironwood closed his hands in a fist while the Faunus scorned the brand. Most of the adults had a sudden urge to punch Jacques Schnee in the face, while the younger ones thanked Oum for Jacques being arrested.

Even the villains had disdain in their expressions. Hazel snarled with hatred for Jacques, while Emerald and Mercury would like to meet the former SDC CEO in a dark alley. Watts had an expression of disappointment, for him, Jacques was an idiot without motivation and a simple-minded man with no capacity for greater intellect. Neo, Roman, Junior and the Malachite Sisters saw this as a failed attempt to demonstrate power, creating only more people who hate Jacques. Salem was definitely the most furious, considering how she practically broke when she had the Grimm essence removed from her, she was much more emotional and with a deep regret. And Tyrian shared whatever thoughts his Queen had.

Now Cinder... she rubbed her neck uncomfortably. When she had removed the shock necklace she had around her neck on the Glass Unicorn, marks of the necklace were present for a few months, but Adam's mark, a control mark forever on his body. It gave her the creeps. She looked at her Grimm arm fearfully. Perhaps…

Adam took the ropes and tied it to an antenna that was on the terrace, he attached the other part of the rope on itself and went to the edge of the building. "Seventh floor. Okay."

He began to descend slowly to the seventh floor, avoiding looking down. When he reached the seventh floor, straight to the cleaning warehouse, he took the knife and began to cut the glass in a circle, when he was finished, he took impulse, jumped and entered the building, dropping the circular piece of glass on the floor.

"Ruby, I'm in."

"Wonderful. The servers are blocked, you need a level 3 access card. The head of security must have one."

"And where is he?"

"Wait... Invading the cameras... Interesting."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Adam, Weiss Schnee is a priority target, right?"

"Pardon me?" Weiss was confused. Was she a priority target for the Assassins? This means that she was with her father in business as a Templar.

"I didn't really see this coming, considering our Weiss." Sun said with surprise.

"Oh, no…" Ruby, Yang and Blake murmured.

"It means that we are enemies in this universe." Ruby said with fear. "I do not like this."

"Weiss, I warn you beforehand, if something happens between us in this universe, I wouldn't do that to you in ours." Blake said.

"Likewise. Whatever happens between our alternative versions, it will not be the same with us." Yang said. But she looked at Adam on screen. "Now, if Taurus is going to do something..."

Adam just scoffed at the taunts. 'Weiss Schnee is the only Schnee that I respect, Xiao Long. After all, she turned on Jacques. Regarding Winter, Whitley and Willow... I don't know them well enough to give an opinion.'

"Yes, why the question?"

"She's here and talking to the head of security right now."

"... Sienna Khan said that if possible, she should be killed at the opportunity. Is it possible?"

"Maybe. Without Wilt and Blush, you won't be able to do much. I give it a 7% chance." Ruby said absently. "For a Templar, she is pretty..." Rose murmured.

"Did you say anything?" Adam asked doubtfully.

"No! Nothing!" Ruby said nervously.

Ruby and Weiss looked at each other briefly, then blushed and turned their heads to the side. Coco, Sun and Neon had malicious smiles on their faces.

"Look… Rubes is already eyeing Weiss Cream. I admit that if I was interested, I would try." Coco commented with a sly smile as she looked at Rose and Schnee.

"The classic romance between mortal enemies... I will enjoy watching this." Neon said, making Flynt laugh quietly.

"Whoa. That Rubes saw it and is already interested. Is she by any chance related to Neptune?" Sun laughed.

"Hey! Take it back!" Neptune exclaimed.

"Um… Nah! I'll keep it up."

Summer looked at her daughter and Weiss, then remembered everything she was told. The Rose smiled. "Well, considering that in this universe we will see both sides, this Weiss can be similar to ours, even though she is Templar. If she is, the two definitely have my support. And if our Ruby and our Weiss share feelings..." A malicious smile formed on Summer's face.

"Mom!" Ruby exclaimed, as red as her cloak.

"I'm just saying, you two look cute together." Summer said, laughing.

"Um… what would this couple's name be?" Nora asked.

"White Rose!" Shiro, Red and Black exclaimed with malicious smiles.

"Oh! This is a good one!" Nora had a giant grin.

"White Rose? Perfect! It will be hilarious to tease these two with this." Emerald said as Mercury laughed beside her.

"Oh, Snowflake, don't be like that." Klein comforted Weiss.

"Um… So, Ruby Rose, right? Well, for the short time I met her, she didn't look bad to me. Good luck, sister." Whitley said with a sly smile.

"I was waiting for you to tease me again." Weiss replied with a sweatdrop.

"In the past I really teased you for wanting to piss you off, now, not anymore."

"Well, it's a step forward. Thank you, Whitley." Weiss sighed.

Willow and Winter looked at the two of them interacting with an expression of sadness. They would like to be able to re-establish a good relationship with their family, but did not know how.

Penny for some reason felt a slight twinge in his chest, a strange feeling when she saw everyone talking about Ruby and Weiss. What would that be?

"Um… not today. Where they are, I want to avoid meeting Weiss Schnee."

"Weiss Schnee is moving away from the head of security, she is heading for the elevator. The head of security is in his office, you will pass the bathrooms, surveillance room and staircase on the way to the office. Eight guards, one in the office, two just entered the bathroom, one at the stairwell door and one at the entrance to the surveillance room. The last three are guarding the office."

"Okay, stealth isn't going to work. I'm going to have to eliminate them."

Adam left the cleaning deposit, looking the sideways in attention. He headed for the office, then found the staircase guard, he pulled on the sleeve of his blazer, revealing the Hidden Blade. The blade switched to Phantom Blade mode, Adam took aim and hit the guard's neck, killing him immediately.

"Oh…" Ruby had a sparkle in her eyes when she saw the Hidden Blade. And when she turned into a Phantom Blade, Ruby got even more excited. "I need one of these."

Suddenly, a pair of Hidden Blades appeared in the lap of Ruby, Qrow, Yang, Robyn, Adam, Illia, Blake, Sienna, Ozma, Ironwood, Neo, Emerald and Mercury.

Those looked at the hosts, who just smiled.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... The Hidden Blade. One of the most well-known weapons among the Creators." Shiro said dramatically. "Even Black and I have a pair."

They both pulled on their sleeves, revealing two pairs of Hidden Blades.

"Hidden Blades… I like it." Ruby said with a sparkle in her eyes.

"It activates by raising your palm-shaped hand with your fingers outstretched or by closing your hand in a fist." Black explained, activating his Hidden Blade as an example.

"Why do some of us have different blades?" Emerald questioned when she saw that her blade divided into three with a trident shape while Mercury's could bend over to be used as a dagger.

"The Hidden Blade has had several variations throughout history. Emerald have the Trident Blade, used by Arbaaz Mir. While Mercury has the Pivot Blade, it was used by Achiles Davenport and Connor Kenway. In the intermission we explain more. " Black replied.

Adam approached the dead body and took the bolt from the guard's neck. When he was going to move on, one of the guards was in the bathroom, but Adam reacted quickly by shooting him in the head, killing him immediately.

Adam saw the guard at the entrance to the security room and killed him immediately, so without wasting any time he eliminated the guard inside the room with a shot that went through his heart. He approached the office in the corridor to the left of the surveillance room. He looked over the edge and saw the three guards.

"Ok… EMP grenades." Adam picked up one of the grenades, activated it and threw it in the corridor, alerting the guards.

"What the hell?!" The light went out, startling the three. One instinctively shot in the direction from which the grenade came, which caught the attention of the other guard in the bathroom and the head of security, who had been surprised by the blackout.

"What the fuck is going on?!" The security chief asked as he left the office with a flashlight in his hand.

"We don't know! Something fell on the floor in the hall and everything went out! I shot it in the direction where that thing came from, but-" The guard was unable to finish his sentence, as a bullet went through his head. Scaring the others.

They heard the cry of pain from the guard in the bathroom, when the chief of security pointed his flashlight at the guard, they saw the guard choking on his own blood thanks to the cut in his throat.

"What is hap-" Before one of the guards shouted something, he was pulled away from the light while the other was shot in the head.

The security chief pointed the flashlight at the guard who was pulled, so he saw Adam cutting the guard's throat. The security chief pulled out his pistol in fear and started shooting Adam.

Adam took the guard's body and used a human shield until the security chief's bullets ran out. When it was over, the guard threw his pistol at Adam as he walked away in despair.

"Get away from me! Don't come close, bastard!"

Adam continued to approach the head of security, dodging a punch, he held the head of security by the face, piercing his head with the hidden blade, killing him immediately. So, the energy on the floor came back.

At the scene end, the youngsters were in a state of silent shock. The scene that just ended on the screen was a one-sided massacre by Adam.

"That was a demonstration of incredible skill." Ironwood commented in awe. "Are all Assassins that skilled?"

"Well, not all. This Adam is a Master Assassin. The highest rank in the Brotherhood, behind only the Mentor." Black said, receiving shocked expressions from the others.

"So, am I one of the best in the Brotherhood? I wonder who else has the Master Assassin rank."

"If we are going to hunch for those who received hidden blades, Qrow, Robyn, Sienna, Ozpin and Ironwood." Pyrrha said.

"Rest in peace." Adam said as he took the level 3 access card from the security chief's body.

He headed for the elevator and used the access card to allow the elevator to go to the servers.

A few floors up, on the staircase, Weiss Schnee went down to the seventh floor. When she heard the shots, she immediately went to the elevator, but it was not working.

She was a young adult with long, snow-white hair in a side ponytail, pale skin as if she had never had contact with the sun, ice-blue eyes and a slight scar was present in her left eye. The Schnee wore a white female suit, snow-white dress pants, an arctic blue cloak, red tie, black dress shoes and a necklace with a red and gold cross.

"Wow… I didn't expect a suit to look so good on you, Weiss Cream." Coco whistled.

'She looks beatiful like that.' Ruby and Penny thought. But Penny was surprised to have thought of that. Since she became a human, things are strange for her. First was with Ruby, now with Weiss. What was happening?

"... I think I am interested in women in social dress and I just realized it now." Neptune murmured to himself.

"I understand you, Neptune. I understand you." Shiro and Black said at the same time.

Upon arriving, she found the bodies of the guards and the chief of security, killed with blood strewn near them. "Damn it!" Weiss approached the head of security and noticed that he had no access card. The Schnee's eyes widened when she saw the situation. She picked up her Scroll and called Clay, who answered it immediately.

"Clay! They stole a level 3 access card from the security chief's body. Send guards to the server immediately. Block the exits!"

"Understood." It was Clay's only response, and he hung up shortly thereafter.

"Damn Assassin's..."

On an Assassin base, Ruby watched Weiss's irritation on camera with a relaxed smile. The Rose had black hair with red tips up to her shoulder stuck in a short ponytail, silver eyes and pale skin. She was wearing a simple red turtleneck sweater, black jeans and red and black sneakers.

"I have long hair?!" Ruby was in shock, while Penny and Weiss watched in awe.

"I knew that day would come." Yang said with a smirk.

"Between your current hairstyle and that of Rubes on the screen, I prefer that of Rubes on the screen." Coco said.

"I have to agree." Fox looked at their Ruby. "Your hairstyle looks like a cheap copy of Qrow's hairstyle."

Ruby immediately lowered her head in sadness at Fox's comment.

"Well, he is not wrong." Mercury said. "It looks like a cheap copy."

"Not just Little Red's hairstyle. What a horrible tuft, Arc!" Roman exclaimed.

"I was really looking forward to talking about the tuft. Really, Arc? This sucks." Neo said with disgust.

"Not to mention Schnee's ponytail." Junior pointed. "It's weird."

"And the bob cut doesn't work, Blake." Illia said with a sweatdrop.

"Okay! We get it! We look bad!" Ruby exclaimed. "Can we keep watching?"

"Good luck in stopping Adam, Weiss Schnee." Ruby laughed as she remembered temporarily disabling the elevator. As soon as Adam took the card, it went back to normal. "Adam, guards going to the server. Weiss Schnee too."

With Adam, he had just entered on to the server. "Really? Well, it looks like things are going to get complicated. I just need to connect this device to the server and will you have access?"

"Yes. A friend of Dedsec taught me how to do this. It works perfectly. But it takes about five minutes to download. Good luck."

"I make my own luck." Adam connected the device to the server. Receiving access confirmation from Ruby.

"Okay, downloading. Hang on. Guards and Weiss Schnee coming."

"May they come."

The elevator descended while dozens of guards came from the stairs. Adam just stood there, waiting. Weiss came out of the elevator, who followed the guards to where Adam was.

"Surrender, Assassin!" Weiss ordered, pointing Myrtenaster at Adam. Adam just smiled and took two steps, causing a guard to instinctively fire, but Adam dodged.

"What are you doing, idiot?! Shooting will only damage the server!" Weiss exclaimed.

Weiss hit the guard who shot with the hilt of Myrtenaster. "What are you doing, idiot?! Shooting will only damage the server!"

Everyone blinked in confusion.

"Er… The other me just repeated my sentence or am I crazy?" Weiss asked in confusion.

"I guess so?" Ruby turned her head to the side in confusion.

"This is something that can happen from time to time. Don't be surprised." Red warned.

"I'm not going to surrender, Schnee. It ends in two ways. With me dead, or I'm out of here with what I came to get." Adam warned.

"I don't think so. Guards! Capture him!" Weisse ordered. The guards advanced on Adam, starting a battle.

Two guards tried to hit him with a baton, but Adam blocked it with his hidden blades, he kicked the ankle of one, making him fall, while punching the other's chest. Another tried to hit him with the butt of a rifle, but Adam dodged and pierced his head by the back.

Another three were advancing, Adam eliminated two with the Phantom Blade, then grabbed the third's club, took it out of the guard's hand and hit him in the neck hard enough to break. He was grabbed in the back, but freed himself by hitting the guard head-on, which broke his nose, so Adam hit a pistol shot to the head of the guard who grabbed him.

"He's very good. I can't take that credit from him." Ghira murmured, despite moving uncomfortably with each dead guard.

"Brutally, he is extremely talented." Ozma commented.

'I definitely woundn't want to be against this Adam.' Oscar said, making Ozma laugh.

"I don't think you need to worry about that." Ozma whispered.

"Three minutes, Adam!" Ruby warned through the communicator.

"Doing my job here!" Adam said as he strangled a guard. He pushed the guard at another and fired the pistol, killing both of them at the same time. Two others approached, one tried to hit Adam with a shock stick, but the Taurus dodged and grabbed him, shooting him in the back of the head, while the other hit Adam in an attack, pushing him into a wall. Adam hitted several punches into the guard's face, then fired the pistol, leaving a hole where there was a right eye.

That's when Weiss entered the battle, grazing Adam in the belly with a cut that he deflected at the last second, causing his Aura to fail for a moment. "Give it up! Don't make me kill you."

"Ha! You would arrest me just to interrogate me, after I lost its usefulness, it would end up as a body without a name." Adam laughed.

The Faunus shifted uncomfortably in their seats. Something like that was not uncommon in SDC mines.

"I know that we will see the views from both sides, but I don't know if I can agree with the Templars considering this start." Kali said with fear.

"With other Templars it may be so, but I have my code of honor. I assure you, you will not die if you do what I am saying." Weiss said in a gentle tone.

"A good apple on a rotten tree also rots over time." Adam replied.

"Not if you take the apple out of the apple tree before it rot." Yatsuhashi replied to Adam on screen.

"One minute!"

"You say that as if the Assassins had not had rotten members. Pierre Bellec and Chevalier." Weiss replied.

"I say the same about Charles Lee and Thomas Hickey." Adam pointed out. "If you didn't really agree with the Templars, you wouldn't be one."

An expression of remorse appeared on Weiss's face. "You don't have much of a choice when you're the daughter of the Grand Master of the Atlesian Templars."

"Winter Schnee had a choice."

Weiss's expression of remorse has been replaced by one of fury. "And she died because she turned on my father and joined your cause!"

"Well, her father is the reason I am an Assassin!" Adam said in fury, taking off his mask and revealing the SDC brand marked on his face, much to Weiss's shock.

"Am I… am I dead?" Winter asked in shock.

Weiss instinctively approached Winter and hugged her. The Specialist took a few seconds, but returned the hug.

"Things got heavy very quickly…" Velvet murmured sadly.

"I… I don't know what to say. I don't-"

"I don't want your apology, I want Jacques Schnee dead. That's it, Weiss. It was the Creed that kept me from becoming a cold and heartless psychopath. I don't blame you for your father's actions, but everyone has a choice. People and things can influence you and affect your decisions, but in the end, the choice is always yours. You became a Templar because you wanted to. Don't try to say no. "

The phrase spoken by Adam on screen affected a good part of the audience. Especially the villains. Are they like that because they really want to? Many of them blame other things for their state, the injustice of the world for Neo, Roman, Emerald and Cinder, the Brothers for Salem, Marcus Black for Mercury, Ozpin for Hazel and Ironwood and Pietro for Watts. Were they driven to do what they do today or was it their choice?

Adam discreetly pulled out another PEM grenade.

"10 seconds, get the device."

"What is your name?" Weiss asked.

9, 8, 7. Adam approached the device discreetly. 6, 5, 4. He looked at Weiss with an expression of curiosity. 3, 2, 1, 0. Adam picked up the device immediately and threw the PEM grenade on the floor, surprising Weiss.

"My name is Adam."

Everything went out, Weiss just heard a sound of footsteps too fast for her to attack. When the energy came back, Adam was gone, only Weiss was left among the guards' corpses.

"Adam, right?" Weiss murmured in a tone of curiosity.

The screen went dark, so everyone was silent for a good minute. Then a clapping sound came. It was the Schnee family.

"This... It was surprisingly good." Willow said with a slight smile. "Forgetting the deaths and ..." Willow faltered for a moment. "The revelation of Winter's death, that was extremely interesting and I would like to see more."

"I also admit to being curious, this alternative Adam, even considering the deaths, seems to have... something else. I can't say exactly, but it piqued my curiosity." Whitley said analytically.

"I feel that this universe is going to have a lot of clashes between Weiss and Adam, and I confess to being curious to see these clashes. It looks like there are going to be a lot of interesting interactions." Winter said with interest in his voice.

"I didn't think to say that one day... But Adam Taurus is very interesting. At least this other one. I can't wait to see other interactions." Weiss said in excitement.

Yang looked at the Schnee in shock, then at Blake. "Blake, the world is not the same anymore."

"I liked this universe. Too much. The other one I think is going to have a lot to come yet. I think I have a favorite." Adam smiled at the screen.

"While I agree that this universe is interesting... I'm more interested in seeing what the Assassins are going to do with the downloaded genetic memories. Maybe even show someone from the past!" Oobleck had a smile from ear to ear when he thought about it.

"I am interested in seeing other Assassins in combat. Adam is extremely talented in this other universe. I hope to see more combat at this level going forward." Port commented.

"You know, this Adam's fighting style slightly reminded me of mine during my Grimm Reaper days. I like that." Maria said.

"Well, good to know that you all liked it. Now, like I said, let's take an early break." Shiro snapped his fingers and a door opened behind him. "First, the Observatory tour. Then you are free to explore."
