Marinette wasn't the ideal type to leave the house without telling her parents, but when life was as crazy as it was at the moment, solitude was the best medicine for the while. She made sure to grab a macaron or two for Tikki, urging the red kwami inside the pockets of the huddled sweater she was putting on.

The kwami forced her to bring her phone, in case of anything, and although marinette protested, she finally gave in. Marinette climbed up up her balcony, the cold night breeze hitting her face. She took a deep breath in, before grabbing the rope tied around her waist, and lower it down the tall building. Tikki had asked her why she wouldn't just transform, but the ravenette was ahead, knowing that it was Chats patrol night. It would be a bit suspicious for her to be out so late as Ladybug anyway.

The 15 year old girl, cautiously moved down the rope, grabbing it tightly.

This is so much easier when you have a yo-yo to support you, she thought.

Once she miraculously was able to touch the ground she ran towards the park..the moon shinning in her -way,She grabbed on to the rails that guarded the playground, hopping over the fence., She stopped mid- walk, the faces of Lila and her friends flashing through her mind. She placed her hand on her chest tears threatening to fall from her face. Lila's smirk smiled at her as she gave in, the tears running down faster than her sobs.

"S-stop", she said shaking her head. Tikki flew out of her pocket, looking at a panicking marinette.

"Marinette calm down, your gonna get akumatized!" Tikki said frantically.

The secret- superheroine, lifted her head, her eyes red and puffy.

"Your right, I'm sorry, I just lost it", she said wiping her tears. She went over to the nearest bench, laying down comfortably as she stared at the moon, halfway hiding by the tree.

The wind soothingly blew by her face as the young girl smiled in the light of the moon.

"It's going to be okay", she said to herself..slowly falling asleep.

Normally, Chloe would've taken a picture of what was in front of her..and of course send it all over social media, but her conscience told her to stop. She glared at marinette as the young baker layed fast asleep on the bench.

Asleep. At 5:00 in the morning.

Chloe scoffed, putting her phone away hesitantly.

"Your lucky I'm here Dupain Cheng", the blonde said with pride.

She rolled her eyes, slightly tapping her nemesis on the arm. Marinette stirred, mumbling words as Chloe woke her up.

"Dupain Chen- Marinette, wake up! Your parents are going to know that your not home idiot", she said. Marinette opened her eyes slightly, Chloe's face glaring down at her.

"Chloe?", Marinette asked while rubbing her eyes.

It was still dark, but it was obviously morning.

Chloe wore a black hoodied sweater herself, the hoodie covering her head.

"You need to wake up..your parents are going to know your gone when they wake up in about an hour", Chloe said, crossing her arms.

Marinette jolted up, checking her pocket to feel Tikki, who was there, touching her finger to reassure that she was still there.

"I-your right..I'll get going", Marinette said, grabbing her phone.

"I'll go with you, the hotel is that direction anyway", Chloe said, kicking a rock with her black conversed shoes. Marinette smiled at her.

"Thank you, a lot Chloe", she said.

"Yeah, whatever, your welcome", Chloe said, turning around to walk. Marinette ran to catch up, slowing down her pace once she was next to Chloe.

"Sooo...what are you doing here?" The bluenette asked. Chloe turned to her bitterly before softening her gaze at Marinette's smile.

"I ran away", Chloe said, "and why are you out here?".

"I ran away too...it was my first time", marinette said while Chloe chuckled.

"Obviously...you look like a noob! You never want to wear bright colors...like that pink color you have on now", The blonde said. Marinette looked down at her sweater.

"I guess i should've known that", Marinette said giggling.

Chloe stopped as she looked down.

"Why..did you run away? Was it because of what happened at school?"

Marinette stopped to look at her.

"Yeah, plus my parents believed all of it..they didn't believe me", Marinette said scoffing.

"Yeah, I totally didn't believe it..your too much of a goody two shoes to do that, even I know". They both laughed.

"So..why did you run away?"

"Cause my mom and dad got into a fight again..it's just stupid. Plus I'm used to it..it's like my 5th time running away anyway, sometimes getting away from the people who don't appreciate you is the smartest thing to do." Chloe said rolling her eyes,

They both stopped in front of Marinette's home.

"Well, it looks like I made it..see you later?" Marinette said. Chloe rolled her eyes before smiling slightly.

"Yeah, sure". Marinette chuckled running back into the house quietly.

When the bluenette slowly went up the stairs, she heard her fathers snores, a sigh that her parents were probably still asleep. Marinette slowly opened her trapadoor, quietly entering her room.

"Well Tik-"

"Where have you been?" A voice said from the side of the room. Marinette paused turning to see Chat look at her with his green eyes. Marinette relaxed, fearing that her parents had played her.

"I was out", she said going over to her desk.

"Out? You just went out? Marinette, I saw you leave since 11:00 at night! I watched you all night..and you just went out?", the feline said, crossing his arms and standing next to her. Marinette looked up at him, while she sat on her computer chair.

"You stalked me?" She said baffled.

"It's not called stalking..it's called watching over you...and yes...I did it all night", he said crossing his arms.

"That's sweet of you, but I can take care of myself" Marinette said, sitting up from her seat and going over to her chaise, pulling her suitcase out from the bottom of the sofa.

"Marinette, it's dangerous out there..and w-what are you doing?" He said.

"I'm leaving! Nobody believes me anymore! My parents, my friends..Adrien..I bet he doesn't believe me either!" She said stuffing clothes from her drawers into the suitcase.

"Marinette stop", Chat said.

"No! I'm done, after yesterday, I'm finished hurting..I'm done!" She said as tears started to threaten to spill.

"Mar-"

"I'm done with favors! I'm done with helping people who can't even be there for me! I'm done-"

"Marinette!"

"Forget love, forget friendship! It's all stupid...and fake!" Chat walked next to her, grabbing her face, he pressed his lips to hers. Marinette squeeked In shock, before she closed her eyes, Chats kisses calming her senses down.

"Your not leaving me", Chat whispered, breaking the kiss. Wiping her tears from her cheek with his thumb, he placed his head to hers, the both of them silent.

"Why? Nobody loves me Chat. I'm a nobody, so why me?" She said whispering, tears cascading down her jaw.

"Because I love every part of you Marinette, no matter what people say, they can't change my mind"

"But someone will..she will..Lila-", Marinette was interrupted by her own sob, "she's going to do it Chat..she's going to change your mind..and I don't have enough to go through that right now".

"She's not going to get me..Princess..I'll be right here, right here. I'm not leaving you, I promise". Chat said kissing her again.
