Hi everyone, so sorry for the long wait. Thank you to everyone who's still reading this, and who reviewed I cannot thank you enough. Well here goes nothing.
I OWN NOTHING. Except the plot.
Percy P.O.V.
When I opened my eyes again, I could barely see a thing. I could barely think. I somehow registered that I was on the floor. But a few feet away from me, I could see a figure laying on the floor.
"Julius? Julius is that you?" I called out to him. But he wasn't moving. I dragged myself over to him. When I got to him, he was laying in a pool of blood. His blood. "No, no no no no no. Julius, Julius wake up. Please wake up, please." There was burning behind my eyes, an ache in my chest, a hole in my heart.
Before I could do anything else I heard voices and footsteps coming closer to me. People had already fled the scene. A question shot through my murky mind as I looked around. What was the cause of the explosion? I wiped away my tears as I steeled my nerves, I have to get up. I tried to get up, but when I leaned on my right leg, a sharp pain tore through my ankle all the way up my leg and I fell back down. And I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head too. I reached back and felt something sticky. I looked at my hand covered in blood, and faintly thought: 'well, that's not good.'
All of a sudden I felt a pair of hands grab me roughly. When I looked up I men with masks, full duffel bags, and guns. Big guns. So naturally, I started freaking out.
I started thrashing around trying to wiggle out of the mans iron grip but I couldn't. He must've got annoyed because he took his hand gun and rammed the butt into my head so I became even more disoriented than before. My eyesight started to blur. I could feel the cold barrel of the gun pressed to the side of my head.
I'm being held hostage? Why? Oh right, the buliding I was standing in front of was a bank. Julius got murdered because of a bank robbery. I got so angry. I couldn't see anything, but I was so angry, I tried to focus. And suddenly, all of my other senses sharpened.I could hear the sirens of police cars. I could hear the radio chatter.
"We have the kid! Let us go and we won't have to do anything unpleasant!" the man holding me announced to the cops. To anyone else he sounded fearless, but I could hear the slightest tremor in his voice that betrayed his facade. He was scared, but still confident that they could make it out. They started walking down the street presumably to their getaway car.
Before they could get any further, I heard a thud land somewhere in front of the cops. I could hear the cops relax a little bit. The robbers on the other hand, I heard their heartbeats going a mile a minute. They were scared now. Terrified.
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. It's Superman, we shouldn't have done this. God, we're done. We're done." One of the masked men said to the one holding me. The one holding me tightened his hold on me and said: "No. No, we're going to make it out." He tells them, hardening his resolve.
"Don't move a muscle Superman! Or we will kill him!" He announced in a loud semi confident voice as he put the barrel of the gun back to my head with renewed vigour.
I have no idea what was going through my head when I did this honest to god, but I did it, it was impulsive and dumb. But you can't deny the effectiveness.
I reached up as fast as I could, I grabbed the gun and pulled. I must have caught the man by surprise because It didn't take as much effort as I thought it would. When his arm was was in front of my face, I bit as hard as I could. And I can bite pretty dang hard(ask my Jon, I bit him once when we were wrestling and I made him cry). He dropped the gun and everything went to hell.
So sorry it took so long. I don't know why but this was hard to write, it just took a while. And, I'm also very tired, and have a slight headache right now. But anyway, yeah, review, give me your thoughts. I feel like I'm making the chapters too short, and I'm moving to fast, but I don't know, is it ok? Do I need to put like, more detail in there or something? Let me know.
Till next time awesome readers!
