Reyna's POV.

When the light died down, Perseus sank into his seat, unmoving.

I do not know how to react. Happy? Maybe. This man brought too many troubles. He was so powerful. He cared about nothing. He just wanted to play a game. He ruined the plan of the gods. He deserved that.

However, I also felt a little sad. This man helped me so much. He did half of my work. Since Jason left, I felt very lonely, and very tired.

Sometimes I told myself that he only wanted power. But still…

The door opened, and Percy Jackson came back.

Perseus's body disappeared. Juno wanted Percy to see nothing.

"Look, Reyna, my memory is missing. It's gone. Do I know you?" Percy asked.

"No, I don't know you. I am a bit uncomfortable. I need to rest. Maybe you can find Hazel and she'll take you to see Octavian."

"Yes, Praetor."

I went back to my house and fell onto my bed. I fell asleep instantly.

I woke up in the evening, maybe I slept for a day.

I nearly fell when I entered the Principia. Perseus was sitting there, his eyes closed, but he was pretty much alive.

"Hey, Reyna." He greeted me.

"Perseus…How did you make it?"

"I…I went back to my world and changed the memories of some legionnaires. No one knows me anymore except you. I didn't play very well last time, and I will do better. I promise." He sighed.

"Oh my god." That was all I could say.

"Let's see what we can do while Percy is on his quest to Alaska. I changed his memory while you were asleep. I'll tell you what happened."

Suddenly, I knew it all. The war game, the Doors of Death, Mars, and the Eagle.

"I think we need to train. The giant is coming." Perseus said.

"Okay…" I didn't ask any question this time. I trusted Perseus.

"Want to try my magic?" He asked.

"May I?"

Perseus put a hand on my left arm. I felt a force made its way to my body.

"Try to summon the force to your hand." Perseus said.

I tried. I felt more powerful. I summoned that force. I raised my jhang and the wall exploded.

"Reyna! That's…I don't even…Wow!" Perseus stared at her in amazement.

"What's the name?" I asked.

"I don't know in English. It's from a Chinese fictional book, Joy of Life, if you want to call this book. It was written in…Can't remember when."

"Fiction…You called my world a game…You mean…" I couldn't believe it.

"Yes. This world is a book to me. Rick Riordan created this. Then, a man named John Patterson created these games. I could go to different worlds. Most big fictions joined the game. Harry Potter, for example. I sat down in my room and closed my eyes. Then, I started to play in my brain. Thanks to this invention, your personality is still the same as it is in the book. When I got bored, I will enjoy my life as a praetor. I could bring all skills that I practised from the other worlds to play. Understand?"

I glared at the man in front of me. I felt extremely angry. This man ruined anything. He was not supposed to be here. Every book had a good ending. However, the man here could change the ending of the book. He would bring me to death.

"YOU RUINED MY LIFE! WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE TO YOU? WHY ME! You want to be a praetor? Fine! You are one now, okay? SPARE ME!" I finally could not bear it anymore.

Perseus sighed, "Reyna, I…It is just a game. When the war is over, this world will disappear. Rick Riordan did not write more! Even if he did, this world is about the giants, not the others. Don't be mad at me! I just want to have fun! I want to see how you react after what happened. I want you to trust me so I told you the truth. Let's continue this, okay? It's just a game!"

"LEAVE ME ALONE, PRAETOR PERSEUS!" I roared.

"Reyna, please!"

I raised my hand. I could feel that force. I attacked Perseus. He certainly did not expect that. He fell to the ground, screaming. Then, he regained his nerves and raised his hand. I fell back into my chair.

"Very interesting, indeed." He said before he disappeared.
