The rocky cliffs gave him some cover from airborne attacks. But they felt confined and dry. The stones were painted in a series of reds and browns. Small streams of lava flowing in the rock. No sign of life anywhere. No trees, no brush. Not even creature kind, just the miniature parasites that cling to the skins of fire creatures and slowly drink their blood for nutrients.

Thankfully they weren't heat proof. Tatsurion would set his body ablaze and burn them off. There were treatments against these disgusting things but he didn't want to risk it. He would usually rub his body against the stone walls to scratch them off. It also helped with the itching. Maybe a magma bath or two but that was about it. He couldn't take one second off being aware of everything.

He wouldn't know if a bounty hunter would track him and kill him. The scavengers might take a crack at him and devour his flesh. He was willing to fight. No matter the occasion, the day he falls down and get get up is the day he dies.

Tatsurion the Unchained!

He jumped up and growled when he heard that voice. He felt something pulling him as a strange vortex opened up showing the fire civilization symbol. He noted the voice didn't sound grown. He sniffed it getting a scent of sand and stone. Even a faint smell of something of home. The grass and trees of the Nature Civilization. Along with a scent of spice. He heard legends of these vortex that take creatures away for use in battles. Usually victorious or wounded when they returned.

Without second thought, he stepped through.

His heart was pounding. Ray couldn't believe this was happening. He was first to be tested for Kaijudo. To see what he was capable of. Throughout the trials he was showing great potential to become a master. Now he had to prove it by summoning a creature from the realms. He held the nature tablet close. Rubbing the engravings on the wood.

And the small vines and leaves that wrapped around it. They weren't made of plastic or fake material to make it look real. They were real. This couldn't be. The Rumbling Terrasaur was real. So was Kenina and the scorpion things and the creepy puppet. All of this, this is real. He felt anxiety plague him. Thinking about what would happen.

What if he messes up? What if he loses control and someone gets hurt? He heard the rusting metal of the gate rising over head leading to the arena. "You got this." He took a deep breath. "You can do this.

He stepped into the area with a smile on his face. Both nervous and excited. Fingers gave him an awkward laugh. "Don't worry kid, if you can't control your creature," He points to himself with his hand that had only 3 fingers, "Old Fingers got ya back." "You got this Ray! Focus now!" Allie shouted from the stands.

He looked at the tablet briefly but felt a warm spark inside him. A feeling of fire encasing his body as he saw a shadowed image of a creature with horns on its head and face. The shadow stood in front of a wooden door and encased with fire.

The tablet dropped from his hands and fell beside his feet. He did the kata and announced the creatures name.

"Tatsurion the Unchained!"

A large vortex opened with a fire symbol in the middle. A large creature with a bone crest on its head with two facial horns on the sides on its face with one sticking out on top of its nose. Ray covered his face to avoid sand getting in his eyes. Just to see a colossal kaiju standing before him. The creature reared up on its hind legs and roared.

Ray can feel his bones shaking from the ferocity of the creature. It landed on all fours growling and looking around in complete confusion. "What is this place? Whoever brought Tatsurion the Unchained here, you will pay!" Snarling his words. The voice was male.

Ray knew he was angry and confused. He didn't blame him. He would be confused and scared if someone yanked him from whatever he was going and ended up somewhere completely different to fight.

His fear increased when the creature, presumably Tatsurion turned to look at him. Its golden green eyes glaring at him.

Tatsurion looked around him in confusion and anger. This wasn't what he expected. Why did he pass through? Where was he? Looking around him he noticed it was some worn down arena. Sand covered the ground and iron gates were shut. He was dragged there to fight. Mind you, he likes a good battle here and there but the fact he was tricked and dragged here. Gradually made him mad.

He looked over to see a small thing standing a few feet from him. It had black hair on its head. With small red streaks near his face. He immediately knew it was a human. He heard stories of the creature-human wars and how his kind would be taken. "What is this place? Whoever brought Tatsurion the Unchained here, you will pay!" He snarled. Watching the little human's movements.

He could tell that he was afraid of him. Understandably so. He could smell the scent of nature off of him. Along with that small hint of spice. He walked towards him slowly but menacingly. Keeping an eye on what the boy did. He kept backing away as if afraid if he stopped Tatsurion would surely kill him. "I know the legends of fleshlings who magic my kind away to battle. Why have you brought me here?" He told the boy. Judging from his expression he was confused and frightened.

"Uh.." SPEAK!" He roared. The boy lurched back as if expecting to be hit. "I...I don't know." He whispers. "I don't know why." Tatsurion stared at him. Observing him even further, he noted that the boy wasn't grown. Still a juvenile. But he didn't know why he was there. Why he had brought him? That still didn't push down his anger.
