As Marinette was lost in thought, Alya said,"Don't worry girl, I'll stay with you as long as you like!"

Marinette tensed up. If they will be there with her she can't contact Master Fu.

"It's alright! I can take care. You all might have some work right?! So i- it's fine! My parents are here too!"

"Do you really think we'll fall for that?" Alya smirked.

"What? I mean what do you mean?" Marinette stuttered.

"That I'll leave my BFF at the time of distress, never!"

"I have sent you a playlist of your favourite songs to your phone. You can check it out!" Nino added.

"MY PHONE!" Marinette exclaimed. Before she continued, Alya interrupted with the news from Ladyblog. She stared at the screen to find Ladybug and Cat Noir fighting a new super villain. She saw her use her lucky charm. Marinette could tell she was swift and fast. Cat Noir cataclysmed a pouch for Ladybug to devilise the akuma.

There was difference in Cat Noir's behaviour too, towards her. But Marinette could tell she was a cooperative one and Cat Noir was comfortable with her.

"Here you go sweetie" Sabine handed Marinette her phone and patted her head.After some time, Marinette was alone. She decided to call Master Fu before anyone came.

Master Fu: "I must say Tikki took the right decision to bring the earrings to me when you were hit. I'm glad to know you'll be better soon. The new Ladybug is capable of doing the job so you don't have to worry about that."

Marinette: Thank you Master and sorry."

Master Fu: "Nothing to apologize for. It's fine, everyone needs a break and you needed it the most. I will come to meet you when I can."

A knock came from the door and Marinette bid goodbye to Master Fu and called, "Y- yes come in!"

She saw Adrien come in and she got into her attention posture. It made her pain worsen as she gave a grunt, but she contained her yelp. Before she knew Adrien had rushed to her.

"Are you ok?" He asked as he came near her. Marinette gazed into his worried green eyes and felt her heart on fire.

"How are you now?" He asked as he took a stool to sit down to her level so that she doesn't have to strain her neck to look at him.

"A little better for now" She smiled.

Adrien: "Good to know, I'm sorry about yesterday-"

Marinette: "For what? You didn't do anything. I'm good!"

Adrien: "I didn't do anything that's why you were sad yesterday."

Marinette: "There is no need to apologise, Adrien"

Adrien: "But still, I should have-"

Marinette: "No need!"

Adrien jumped from her reply and stared at her with wide eyes. Marinette flushed up and turned away. Adrien let out a laugh and she giggled along with him.

"Laughing is the best medicine"

"Hehe... I'm sure I'll be healed with that"

"I wish so."

That made Marinette tint velvet. He wanted her to get well soon. He wanted her to be there, with him!

She got lost in her thoughts then Adrien replied, "You know, there is a dance competition coming up next month. Would you like to be my partner?"
