The Girl Without A Past II: The Enemy Within

Chapter 02: "New Enemy"

This is the second chapter in this series and the seventeenth chapter over
all in this saga.

Notes: Usagi's new Sailor Moon form appears in this chapter. But she fights
no enemies in this chapter. And sorry for no new chapters lately. Hopefully I
can begin to write two chapters per week. Enjoy the chapter.

**** 02 ****

John Ross, Andrea, and usagi had no new clues of what had been happening
to all the teenage girls. More girls kept being found unconscious like the previous
cases and there was no new leads to who was doing this and why.

Andrea and Usagi went to a local Japanese restaurant and the Japanese couple who
ran the establishment knew Usagi was from Japan and Usagi got along with the Japanese
couple easily. Andrea and Usagi had many dishes that was authentic Japanese food
and as Usagi called it... it was "delightful."

However, before they had even left the restaurant, they heard scream and again like before
Andrea Williamson and Usagi ran outside and found two more girls unconscious and they
were in the same condition as the girls that was found unconscious before. Then Usagi
scanned around with the glasses she had on. These glasses were fake as far as eye sight
was concerned, but these were like goggles when she wasn't transformed. She saw an
heat signature of a girl hiding behind some sort of solid object. Usagi went to the spot where
the girl was hiding. To most people who saw Usagi's glasses, they would consider them to be
ordinary glasses and would bring any suspicion. Usagi called out to the girl and the girl came
out. The girl was fairly pretty and she was only 12 years of age. She wasn't too tall. She was fit.
She wore a blue blouse with a matching blue skirt and also wearing blue socks with blue dress
shoes. The girl had some minor pimples on her face. Other than that, the girl was fairly pretty.
Her hair was strawberry blond and went down to her knees.

When Usagi saw the girl, she knew they had a survivor from these mysterious crimes. The girl
came out of her hiding place and Usagi had motioned her to come to her and the girl clung to
Usagi like she was a big sister. The girl hugged Usagi and lost all emotions and cried.

"My friends were injected by an invisible force and they instantly fainted!"

The girl spoke while her tears flowed down her face and there was a slight pause in her voice
and she continued, "why did I not become a victim like Jenny and Janae? I am only six months
younger than them."

The girl stated to Usagi. Usagi took off her fake glasses for a moment and held them in her hand
and spoke to the girl.

"How old are you?"

Usagi asked in a quiet calm voice and not wanting to upset the girl further.

"I am 12 and my name is Amber."

Amber replied and she gave her age and her name.

"So, you're 12 and your name is Amber? That's a very pretty name. "

Usagi complimented the young girl on her name. Usagi did like the name of the girl. Usagi took Amber
where Andrea was at. Andrea had discovered that each of the girls had three injections on their necks
and that brought up more questions. Usagi also noticed the injections when she came back with the
girl to where Andrea was. Usagi filled Andrea in with what the girl had said. Usagi took down all the
information of what Amber saw (which wasn't much) about the attack on her two friends.

Later that night at Andrea's house and the two women discussed the new turn of events. Usagi
spoke up to Andrea.

"Those injections isn't from a vampire, it's from a Youma, a monster."

Usagi declared to Andrea to about what she had known about this new enemy. This brought new
concerns out of Andrea.

"Are you sure?"

Andrea asked Usagi in a concerned tone like Andrea had just been stung by a bee.

"Yes, I have seen it all before. A vampire will only inject with two marks and each girl must have
three marks like the two we seen tonight. The enemy is so crafty that we adults can't even see it
at all. There must be a way to see this new enemy."

Usagi gave her findings on her suspicion on the new enemy. Usagi knew deep down only becoming
a victim herself would confirm a new enemy.

"What do you intend to do?"

Andrea asked Usagi about what Usagi would do with this new enemy.

"Well," Usagi started and then continued, "I am in my twenties now and the new enemy isn't
interested in me at all. I am actually clueless where to start first. I may have to contact the others
and let them know about this new enemy."

Usagi reported and she didn't know what to do at the moment, but something would come to her
when the time came. Luna sat nearby listening to the ladies talk and Luna had came to the same
conclusions like Usagi and like Usagi, Usagi had no new answers.

A little later once Andrea was asleep, Usagi got up out of bed and got dressed and put on her
shoes and grabbed her brooch and started to leave her room. Usagi put her finger to her lips
and quietly spoke to Luna.

"I will return later. I have to contact Queen Serenity and I cannot do it here."

Usagi reported to Luna and Luna just gave a nod. And Usagi left her room and left Andrea's house.
She walked about a couple of miles to the nearest gas station and went towards the back of it grabbed
a hold of her brooch which was on a chain and she plucked it off of her chain and it grew back to its normal
size and Usagi spoke.

"Moon Eternal Starlight Power! Make Up!"

And her brooch glowed and pink hearts and white feathers and in an instant she transformed into Eternal
Starlight Sailor Moon. Her new Sailor Moon form wasn't too different from Eternal Sailor Moon except this
form had more white than before with the edges of her Sailor top and her skirt having a line of pink on it
and same with her boots too. Her boots went up almost to her knees. Sailor Moon called out to her
mother.

"Mother! Queen Serenity! I need your help!"

Sailor Moon called out to her mother and a regal figure appeared in front of Sailor Moon and it was Queen
Serenity.

"What is it that troubles you so my daughter?"

The queen asked Sailor Moon answered her.

"There's a new enemy that is attacking all the girls between the ages of thirteen and fifteen and I am unable
to see the new enemy nor fight against it."

Sailor Moon reported to her mother.

"What do you plan to do about it my daughter?"

The queen asked Sailor Moon what she planned to do.

"I need to be the age of fourteen again so I like all those girls may be a victim too. Maybe then and only
then I can put a stop to this new enemy once and for all."

Sailor Moon answered and gave her plans of what she wanted to do. The queen knew by looking into
her daughter's eyes that she wanted to save the girls.

"Very well. What you want to do has never been done before. There is a Moon Elixir on the moon in an
cavern underneath where the Moon Palace was. You must go there and retrieve it. However, you must
fight enemies in the cavern to earn the right to drink it. However, once obtained... you must drink in a spot
where the girls was previously victimized and the elixir will reduce your age until after the new enemy
has been vanquished. Also the potion will give you limited increased powers. Use them to your advantage.
A portal will take you to the moon so you can carry out your quest to save those girls. Good luck my daughter."

Queen Serenity explained the situation and the regal monarch had vanished and in its place a pink portal. Upon
seeing it, Sailor Moon stepped into the portal and vanished.
