"He's a actor" Paige mumbled staring at the floor. "Oh" Walter replied shuffling his feet nervously.
Remembering what Paige's friend said yesterday Walter blushed profusely as he tried to work up the courage to address his feelings. He was very tempted to take the easy option and once again declare them "professional colleagues" but if there was one thing Tim had proved it was that Walter could not bare the thought of another man being in Paige and Ralph's lives, and acting the coward again would leave the door open for another Tim or (god forbid) another Drew to take the place in their lives that he so desperately craved.
He'd spent all night thinking about what he was going to say to her but finding the words to say in emotional situations was very hard for him.
When they had both been standing there silently for a few minutes he finally decided the best course of action would to be honest. "I have no idea what to do or say" he admitted, scratching the back of his head. "This sort of situation is entirely new to me". Paige felt more at ease and laughed softly as she replied "it's new to me too. I know you want us to stay professional-" she started.
"I just didn't want to loose you.." Walter interrupted "I love you" he admitted surprised at himself. The other words in his head remained unspoken.
