Mistypaw's Quest

Summeary

Two small cats were quietly patting through the bushes, one was a blue-gray furred molly and the other was a silver-blue furred molly. "Are you sure we should be doing this?" The silver-blue molly hissed in a low whisper to the blue-gray molly, who just rolled her eyes and continued on into the thicket of trees. She was on a mission to speak with a certain cat who she needed to see. The cat in question? The leader of ThunderClan, Bluestar.

Staying In ThunderClan

The battle with RiverClan had calmed down fir the most part, and at this moment our only main issue is ShadowClan. The Sunningrocks were no longer RiverClan's territory to hunt in. And Mistypaw, Silverpaw and even Stonepaw had snuck into ThunderClan's camp on more then one occasion.

"Hi Bluestar!" I spun around calmly to see Mistypaw, Stonepaw and Silverpaw come out from some nearby bushes. I smiled widely and bounded over to where they were sitting.

"Where's Firepaw?" Mistypaw meowed, looking around for the ginger-furred tom cat. I smiled and flicked my ears in amusement. Mistypaw has a crush on Firepaw, but Firepaw has a crush on Spottedleaf.

"Firepaw's in the medicine den, he's helping Yellowfang and Spottedleaf sort herbs." I meowed, looking in the direction of the medicine den as I spoke. Mistypaw sighed sadly and stared down at her paws.

"So is Firepaw training to be a medicine cat?" Stonepaw inquired, tilting his head in confusion as he looked from me, to Silverpaw and back to Mistypaw.

I smiled softly at Stonepaw as I flicked my tail back and forth, he's always been really intelligent for his age. He gets that from Oakheart, Mistypaw inherited my reckless and brave personality, witch made me a bit confused.

"Um... hay Bluestar? Could you teach us how to hunt?" Silverpaw suddenly spoke up, staring at me with wide and hopeful bright blue eyes. I laughed quietly and shook my head.

"I'm afraid I can't do that Silverpaw, I don't think RiverClan would be very happy if they heard that I trained you how to hunt without Crookedstar's permission." I gently explained, Silverpaw sighed sadly and lowered her head.

"But you're our mother!" Mistypaw protested, lashing her tail as she glared up at the sky. I laughed quietly at my daughters eagerness to learn.

"Yeah, but you're RiverClan cats, I'm not Crookedstar's mother, I can't order him around, even though I would love to train you three." I replied with a small laugh and a roll of my eyes.

"Then why don't we go and ask him? I bet he'll let you if I ask him nicely." Silverpaw meowed confidently as she pounced on a leaf. I laughed and thought about Silverpaw's idea.

"Why not? It doesn't hurt to try." I meowed, smiling brightly at the three apprentices, who all jumped up and down in excitement.

"Please daddy? It won't hurt anything. Besides, there's a lot of apprentices who need to be trained, Pikapaw, Ashpaw, Cinderpaw, Nightpaw, Foxpaw and Wolfpaw all need training as well. And a lot of our warriors are still recovering from the fight with ThunderClan, please accept Bluestar's offer?" Silverpaw meowed, staring up at Crookedstar with pleading eyes.

"You're to intelligent for you're own good sometimes, very well Silverpaw. I will allow you to be trained by Bluestar." Crookedstar relented,

"Thank you Crookedstar, I will train them well, and who knows? Maybe they'll teach me something along the way as well." I meowed, dipping my head to the RiverClan's leader.

"You're like a sister to me Bluestar, I trust you to train my daughter well. And I bet it will be perfect time to bond with your kits as well." Crookedstar meowed, smiling warmly at me, Silverpaw, Mistypaw and Stonepaw.

"Thank you daddy! Thank you!" Silverpaw meowed, staring up her father with a grateful expression on her face.

"Now, you four better get going before Leopardfur and her patrol return. Trust me when I say this, she isn't as understanding as I am." Crookedstar meowed, and with one last grateful not to the RiverClan leader, I turned and motioned with my tail for Silverpaw, Mistypaw and Stonepaw to follow back to the ThunderClan camp.

"All cats old enough to catch their own pray gather here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting." I yowled, causing all of the gathered cats to stop there Conversations. I twitched my ears to listen for any unnecessary chattering.

"We have three new young cats who will be training here in ThunderClan." I yowled, and murmurs began to fill the crowd. I silenced them with a sharp meow, and every cat went silent.

"Yes Tigerclaw and Longtail, they are Clan-born cats. Now shut your mouth and let me finish speaking." I yowled, and the two cats reluctantly did as I had instructed.

"Cats of ThunderClan, I would like to welcome, Silverpaw, Mistypaw and Stonepaw to ThunderClan. Crookedstar has gave me permission to train these three apprentices due to RiverClan having more apprentices to train then they usually do." I yowled and whispers started throughout the crowd.

"Willowpelt, please step forward." I meowed, and a small, white furred molly stepped forward, sitting at the base of the Highrock as she stared up at me.

"Willowpelt, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of exceptional courage and bravery. I trust that you will pass on all that Poppydawn has taught you onto your new apprentice." I meowed, and Icewing bent down to touch noses with Stonepaw.

"I will apprentice Mistypaw, Spottedleaf has requested to train Firepaw and I agreed with her." I meowed, and I jumped down from the Highrock and bent down to touch noses with Mistypaw.

"Brindleface, please step forward." I meowed, and a dark gray furred molly stepped forward, sitting at the base of the Highrock as she stared up at me.

"Brindleface, you have shown yourself to be a brave and loyal warrior. You had a valuable mentor in Stormtail, and I trust you will pass on all she taught you to this apprentice." I meowed, and Brindleface bent down to touch noses with Silverpaw.

"Stonepaw, Mistypaw, Silverpaw, Stonepaw, Mistypaw, Silverpaw." Yowls of excitement rang out, as the four new apprentices went to sit beside their mentors.
