Naruto was flying high in the sky, his eyes looking over at his brother. "Azazel do you think I'll grow up strong one day? I feel like I'm letting everyone down, letting mother and Michael down for being so weak."
"Why do you still blame yourself for what happened? There are things you can stop and there are things you can never stop from happening." He asked back.
"He died because I wasn't strong enough to fight at his side, the darkness it killed him. What is this darkness brother? I never thought there could be something so vile, for the mark to still not leave my body." Naruto's bare back still had a scar like mark from his run in with the lord of darkness.
"Darkness and Chaos are two of oldest beings in the world even before God himself, no one knows where Chaos is hiding. She was said to be a powerful being and crimson hair was one thing that everything could remember about her. But you are not weak, no one can truly beat the lord of darkness. Where there is light, there must be darkness." Azazel try to comfort his younger brother.
"You will grow to be strong because I know you can be the strongest of us." He told him while they landed on the ground.
Naruto could see Gabriel talking to a man which caused Naruto to make a fist when he got too close to her. Azazel could see the change in his brother's mood, he just grabbed Naruto's shaking fist.
"Calm down Naruto, you know she can be trusted. That anger of yours is something you need to control. You let yourself live by your emotions too much and you need to learn how to control them better if you wish to be strong." He warned his younger brother.
"The thing is not about trusting her, that bastard is one of God's children. If he wants, he can do anything he damn wants too even make her love him. Why are we the angels that was said to be his children the ones that are just tools to protect and server humanity?" Naruto angrily asked, hissing between his teeth.
Naruto watched his brother walk away from him, he just looked away from his back. "I will bring true freedom to this world one day, even if I have to become raging force of anger. Even if I must become like Chaos, I will give true freedom so she can live free, without being forced to do his will." Naruto spoke to the winds of Heaven.
"Be careful what you say out loud young one." Voice caught Naruto off guard, he looked back to see who it was.
He could see a massive platinum colored scaled dragon with two sapphire looking eyes, he just smiled back at the dragon. "What are you doing here Bahamut? Shouldn't you be taking care of the other dragons and dragon gods? You are the true god of dragons after all, busy man you know?"
"I know you hate that you think or feel you are just a tool, but your God doesn't see you that way. He created the angels, yet he gave birth to you and your brother for a reason. He entrusted humanity to you not his children. Rage will not save you and it will not bring her happiness. But your love and caring self will." He spoke to Naruto.
"How do I do that? I'm just lowly rank Angel and she's…."
"She's high ranking one? Maybe next to be crowned Archangel then stay beside her brother Michael? Or maybe you are worried that you will never catch up to Azazel with his twelve wings? You have never been the jealous type but that rage for unfairness is your weakness." He pointed out.
"All life goes and comes with that everyone dies at one point in time. What you do with the time you have is what brings beauty to your life and ones around you. Naruto that I know is the one that kept training till he could not move, that never gave up on his word. That told me first day I met him that he would be the next leader of Heaven so God could retire." Dragon let out a laugh which Naruto just glared at him.
"Tell me do you know what is like to have weight of such duties? To keep this world safe and ones in it? It is no easy task, yet many have fallen to evilness due to the weigh that will be on your shoulders. Chaos as you put it, I remember her very well. So passionate yet so much rage and anger in her. A spitfire, crimson hot-headed woman. You remember me a lot of her at times and other times I hope you do not make her mistakes. She would be sad if you did." Naruto was confused by his words.
Naruto watched the dragon fly off before she started to walk over to him, he was unsure of what to even say to her. He did know he could not show her that he was mad, he had to try to calm down before she got to him.
"Don't even try to hide it, you were mad again, weren't you?" She asked him. "I don't feel anything for him even if he's one of the sons of our God. He also won't be in Heaven anymore because he's being told to live and protect the city of Atlantis." She told him before she kissed his lips.
"Never stop being that caring Naruto-kun just let go off that anger and rage please. One day you may even hurt me if you won't let it go." She told him.
"I could never hurt you even if it would cost my life. I could never lay a hand on you no matter what." He spoke to her.
Soon Naruto woke from his sleep, he looked over to see no one beside him in bed. He slowly moved to his feet and looked over at the huge mirror. The mark still on his back, slowly he moved away from the mirror.
"What were you trying to tell me old friend?" He asked to what felt like a ghost.
Bahamut had not been seen single that day he last spoke to him. So many things hidden by his words of Chaos and the duties of a God. "So…tell me old friend did you know that I would be burden with that same duty years later in life?" Sad smile showed on his face.
There was so many things going through his mind, the price of saving this world. A world that cares nothing about it, a world that would see him as the evil one. He still was willing to pay the cost of saving it, that cost would leave many hurt and sad. "Goodbyes are always the hardest when it someone you love."
"Talking to yourself now dear?" He looked back to see a naked Scathach.
Her beautiful body all for his eyes to see, he slowly walked over to her before he kissed her. His hands slowly rubbed her large breasts which their tongues danced together. When the kiss ended, she planned to back up, she failed due to him following up the kiss causing both to enjoy fun on the cold floor.
Inside the old school building Rias was looking over at Akeno, worried about her queen. She did not understand why she had done that yesterday, she needed to know what was going on with her best friend.
"Why did you yell like that?" She simply asked.
"I just thought of how my mother gave her life saving me that day, it just hit too close to home when he spoke like that. I never got the chance to tell her goodbye or why she did what she had done." Akeno spoke sadly.
"There was nothing you could have done to help her because it wasn't your fault. You were young when she was killed. She did what she thought was best for you."
"Why do you hate him so much? He just wants to change the world for the better. He even told us why my sister killed her last master, it was to save me." The kitty innocently asked her.
Back with Naruto that was sitting on the school roof at night, looking up at the stars. "You told me stars were there to guide you down the right path. Why, did you."
"Betrayal you? You still think that's why I did what I did?" Naruto looked back shocked, he never thought she would come down here.
Gabriel stood there in all her glory, her blonde hair and teal eyes. A long white dress that covered her up but showed off her body to him. It fit her perfectly and it tugged her body almost too good to him.
"I did what I did because I told you that one day you would hurt me due to your rage. I wish it never had to come to that, but you left no one any choice, not even me." She told him, sadness showing in her voice.
"It's funny, I just had dream of you, yet you show up later tonight. Was that also something of your doing?" He asked her.
"No, I can't do that, you know that as well. Fate just has a way of doing things that no one can understand at times.
Naruto sensed something familiar above them which his eyes looked up with worry. "No, he wouldn't?"
Before she could ask him what he meant she watched a rain of weapons coming down towards them. Naruto quickly summoned his great sword into his hands before blowing anyway the wave of weapons.
"You really choice to side with them Gilgamesh! You have lost your damn mind and I'm going to be the one to put you down."
Naruto stared at the man in the air, his red eyes glaring at Naruto. Short blond hair along with full golden looking plated suit of armor. He moved his hand to call another wave of weapons to fly around him.
Naruto rushed right at the man but when he got to him, he was blocked by what looked to be a huge, armored knight. His right hand was a massive sized claw like hand with what seemed to be a massive sword. There was what looked to be an eyeball in the middle of the story and Naruto known who this monster was.
"Nightmare! So, Greed's king piece in here which means the war truly has started." Naruto stated before blocking the incoming attack from the knight.
Naruto stared at the Azure knight, the monster that stole millions of souls over the times. It was something he could truly call a hungerful monster that just wants to keep taking souls from the ones he killed.
Naruto moved to block a fully charged attack only to be send back into the school building crashing deep into it. "Was that all you had? Father of devils yet you seem so weak when hit by Nightmare's attack." Gilgamesh taunted.
Before either of them could blink Naruto was already back in their face with his blade hitting against Nightmare's blade. "It will take far more than that to even hurt me let alone kill me, it's time I show you why I'm the Wraith!?" Naruto howled.
"Then show me, show me your truth strength so I can crash you underneath my boot! I'll show the world that you are a relic of the past, nothing more than old man." Gilgamesh yelled back.
From the cover of his eye, he could see Koneko being attacked by what looked to be a fish like dude with a sword. He could not figure out what that person was just that the kitty was having a huge time dealing with him.
He blocked the attacks from the two enemies before flying down to help her, he could not allow her to die. She was his family, yet he would not be able to look his lover in the eyes if he failed to save her sister.
"Who the hell are you?" Naruto asked before getting in front of the worn-out kitty.
"Name is Kisame Hoshigaki and I'm one of Greed's pawns." He told back.
"You will not hurt her because I'll make sure you die." He warned before he summoned Erza to handle this.
"Erza kill him and keep her safe, I need handle their king piece." Naruto moved up to face off against Nightmare.
He did not know where Gabriel went too only that he had to focus on the task at handle, he would deal with her later. He was also glad she wasn't in the fighting, even if she betrayed him he still cared for her.
Erza changed her armor into her Heaven's Wheel Armor, which she enjoyed seeing the most out of her armors. Plated armor covered her face with a plated flower in the middle, her throat and stomach were unarmored. Her large breasts showed off to the world while behind her was large metal wings. These wings looked to be made from blades, she had long plated skirt which look great on her.
"I feel sorry for you, he told me to kill you so that what will happen today." She rushed at him with both her hands in her hands.
"Come at me little girl!" He taunted before attacking back.
The two of them clashed swords together while the neko watched them go at each other, she was too weak from the fighting to do anything but sit down. She did not understand how a pawn could keep up with her, she was rook, yet she lost to him.
Naruto quickly summoned all his pieces before telling them to go to each part of the area to kill any pieces they find. Artoria was only one that refused while looking up at Gilgamesh with hate in her eyes.
"I'm staying by yourself my love, I'll take down that bastard myself." She stated to him.
"Don't let yourself get hurt do you hear me? If you get hurt, I'll punish you later myself." Naruto warned his lover.
He did know the history of these two, he refused to let that bastard hurt her. That was one of the reasons he hated that golden armored bastard, he wanted to be the one to put him down. No one can touch her but him.
Tifa landed on the ground and noticed what looked to be a large golem like man with an exceptionally large looking axe. "Just who may you be?" She joked back at the golem.
"My name matters not but it's Astaroth pawn of Envy." He stated before attacking the unarmed fighter.
Tifa sidestepped and kicked him in the back which she could feel just how hard his stone body really was. If she were a normal human, she would have broken her leg with that attack, due to her being devil she just started to attack more.
She refused to let her lover down no matter what, she would fight for his sake. She would always be there by his side, to shield him to keep him safe.
Naruto found himself being pushed back into the school causing much damage to the classroom he landed in. He started to take his shirt off before he looked back up at the monster flying up there.
"Time to break the first of the seven seals. Guess I have to face it I can't keep limiting myself, unsealing the first seal!" One of the seven seals on Naruto's back start to fade away.
Naruto rushed back at them this time his blade knocked Nightmare backwards, he could tell this fight was far from over. He looked around to see everyone fighting and that this school area was a war zone.
Erza had knocked her enemy back into the school wall before rushing forward at him, he was giving her semi-worth fight but she wanted to end it soonest she could. She did not want to be away from her master's side for too long. She also did know that this neko meant a lot to him and she refused to allow harm to come to her.
Artoria and Gilgamesh on the other hand was growing more heated, she wanted him die without any mercy. "I'm sick of seeing you in this world, you should just die already. I want to get rid of you along with my past before meeting my lover."
"Is that how you speak to your soon to be husband? I'll kill that master of yours and make you mine like it should be." He stated back to her.
"You will never be strong enough to kill my master, I will never allow you get that close to him no matter what."
Moka was in the middle of fighting against a knight on horseback, she just kicked the horse to the ground before another kick to the knight's chest. She watched him fly off his horse into the ground which she just walked over to him. She was not going let her lover down and she would kill any of these pieces that get in her way.
Ingrid had noticed Tifa was having hard time against the golem like man, Ingrid started to send down thunder from the sky. It had hit the golem dead on because it caused him to stop moving for few seconds. Soon it was moving once more yet slower due to the thunder attack, the two of them focus their attacks together.
Hours went by and the fighting got more and more worse, he could see the underworld devils were already fighting in the mix. When the fighting finally had ended, he could see many healers running around.
Nightmare got away along with Gilgamesh, but they killed few of Envy and Greed's pawns even two knights. Naruto had lost none but few of his lover were hurt, they needed to rest but he was thankful they lived.
"The two of them replacing these pieces maybe easy but they wont ever find these kinds of rare ones to use them on. They have to get new green horns to replace them with which helps us in the long run." Naruto stated before he moved to sit down.
"You ended up breaking two of the seven seals Naruto-koi." Ingrid pointed out to him.
"When fighting Nightmare along with Envy's king Shao Kahn it is not that easy, fighting two king pieces. At least these young devils can see what war truly looks like, maybe now they will start listening." Naruto closed his eyes.
"So, this why you warned so us badly before?" Akeno asked him.
Her outfit was somewhat ruined from the fighting, she had gone up against someone she barely lived fighting off. If it had not been for Ingrid's help, she would be a goner, she was thankful to the older woman.
"This was just the start because it will be bloodier soon. With more gateways that open more people that side with us or them. This war will be like none other because Heaven won't be on our side or their, it will be all out war soon." Naruto stated to them.
"Why did they attack this school?" Rias was the one to ask.
"It was simply to send a message to the devil world, to send that message to the four leaders of underworld. That they are coming, they will kill anyone that gets in their way. I'll have to make sure I have men guarding this school from on and in hidden ways." Naruto simply just started finding ways to defend them better.
"The fact they didn't send their full force means this was just to keep us busy while they did something else. I do not know what that is because my island shield with barrier that take them too long to break down. I also have no word of it being attacked and that means there something else they were doing during these few hours." Naruto told them while looking around.
"Out of all the sins which one are you worried about fighting?" Akeno asked him.
"The second strongest sin is the sin of Pride because his pieces are almost at the same level as my pieces. So, fighting him full out will take my full focus in order to deal with him. If you run into him then you better just run away." He warned them.
"Do you have any idea what they real target would have been?" Grayfia asked him.
"No clue to what it would have been, but it seems the angels come down to see us."
Naruto looked past them over to Gabriel along with her brother. This would be first time these two seen each other since that day, that day he almost killed him. He kept watching till they finally made it over to them.
"Now you show up. Hate to break it to you but the fighting is over and just where was the holy heaven when it was needed?" Naruto asked.
"We were fighting against Pride's group that was trying to get into one of the ruins nearby here, old ones at that. We pushed them back, but it took us time to get here due to that and I'm shocked you forget about these ruins." He fired back.
"If I remember every single ruin in this world, I will lose my mind. I'm old and forgetful in many ways and maybe you should just get to the point." Naruto pointed out to him.
"I'm older than you and yet you look more worn out than me. What caused you to grow so fast or at least age in sense of weakness." Michael asked, his eyes betraying his cold words.
"I have done a lot up to this point in order to keep the world alive, somethings drained me more than others. Everything I have done is to protect this world, a duty placed on me. I may not be a great father, but I did my best to give them free will and unlike their mother I didn't wish for them to be vile or evil." Naruto told him.
"Is their mother behind this then?" Koneko asked.
"I wish I could blame it all on Lilith, I can't. She has not been since in so many years since the civil war. She was woman that wanted devils to rule the world and wanted our kids to show up to act like evil hearted devils." Naruto moved to sit against a destroyed wall.
"Naruto…In all the years I never seen you this weak just how have you become so…" Michael lost for words.
"Ever since I had fallen, I been solely fighting back the darkness. There was no aid from heaven or you for them matter. If it were not for me the darkness would have taken over this world. It has not gone away because it hungers for our world and it will come again soon. Fighting it for so awfully long, it is draining me so much. I hate to admit it but I'm old and this war maybe my last." Naruto looked at the heaven group.
"Soon there won't be any devil on everyone shoulders soon, if I go then I go after saving this world one final time." Naruto closed his eyes.
"That day we tossed you out of Heaven, I never had known what kind of punishment you were going be given. When I heard you had become a devil, something no one ever seen before in history I wish I could have taken it all back."
"No, you shouldn't because I earned my punishment and for what I had done. I hated you when first happened but then I realized over time I earned what become of me and it was my choices that caused it." Naruto admitted.
"Naruto-sama there was a city in Egypt that was destroyed by Sloth, millions killed in the attack.' One of Naruto's soldiers stated.
"What…." Rias could not believe her ears.
"Like I said this is just the start of the war and it's seems they aren't holding back anymore. It's time we go to war and we can't hold anything back." Naruto stated back.
"There's more because it seems they did that to gain the eye of Ra." Naruto blood frozen when he heard that.
"They have the eye of Ra. Michael get hold of my idiot brother because all three factions truly need to hold a damn meeting now." Fear showed in Naruto's voice.
"What's the matter Naruto-kun and what do they plan on using this eye for?" Gabriel asked him.
"Eye of Ra holds a massive amount of magic power and they can use that power to make these gateways stronger. Just pray that they don't end up summoning another bible god into our world or something that can bring back to life our god." Naruto stated once more before he got up.
"As for young devils go back to normally training yourself and your normal lives. I can't afford to take you with us to fight against them." Naruto left them all in their own thoughts.
"There has be something he's not telling us because he was scared for once when he heard about the eye. It's time we do have a meeting with the factions." Michael pointed out.
"The whole world is about to be on the brick of dying and what are you planning on doing Naruto-kun?" Gabriel asked.
"You can show yourself." Naruto spoke alone in a large clearing.
A man with short silver hair and blue eyes looking over at Naruto before walking out in the opening. "Why have you come here father?" He asked.
"Pride or should I say Vergil I thought out of all of them you would been the smartest. To follow Greed's insane plan like this and now you hold the eye of Ra? You know this idea of his is downright insane." He asked his levelheaded son.
"Why do you keep trying to save this dying world father? They look at you with hate and distrust, yet you keep them safe? Why not recreate this world into something better?"
"You think Greed will let you? He will cause armies to come to this world so he can take over other worlds and timelines. He will never stop till his greed becomes his underdoing and this world is not dying if you are willing to defend it. I know there is some good left in you and that you see the truth." Naruto looked at his oldest son.
"You need to stop Greed before he destroys everything and everyone in this world, this world can be saved but not like this. I may not be the best father, but I just wanted my family to live their lives as they choice to."
"I want one request for you Vergil if you can allow your father to ask one last thing of you." Naruto asked.
"What is that father?" He asked back unsure of what it could be.
"When this war is over and Greed is stopped, I need you to take over my place. I know I will not live this war and I need someone to look after this world when I am gone. You are only one of my children I can ask this of, I know you do not see the worth of this world but when I am gone. That is when I know you will see the message that I will leave you and the rest of my children and loved ones." Naruto started to walk away.
"Father…. why must you keep paying the cost of everything? Even when it is your children that are causing the mess?
"That's what a father does for his children, it's a parent's job to take care of his family even when they are misbehaving." With that said Vergil was left all alone.
"I don't want you to die or take your place father, I just want…." He looked up with eyes closed.
