AN: Enjoy!
Wanda and Vision continued to revel in their quiet life in Wanda's cabin. Making up for lost time together. Watching their precious little twin sons grow.
Watching them smile, and laugh, and change a little more every day. They could crawl now, which had resulted in quite a lot of rushing around baby-proofing the moved quite competently, while Billy was a little more careful, the twins beginning to show the differing personalities that Wanda fondly remembered, and Vision was enjoying getting to know.

As the twins approached nine months old, another milestone was growing closer, that of Wanda and Vision's first Wedding Anniversary.
The couple had had one or two anniversaries in the past, but not of the Wedding related variety, and not of the celebratory kind that Vision would rather have given Wanda if he had the chance. Going out to anywhere fancy or crowded was usually off the table in case Wanda was recognised, and the rare occasions that they did eat out, they usually tried to rush the event, so as to ensure that Vision's failure to eat anything didn't draw unwanted attention to Wanda.
So, the first anniversary of their relationship, and their second, occurring shortly before Thanos, were mostly spent huddled in hotel rooms or apartments. This wasn't inherently a bad thing, not at all. With not much else to do, the huddling in hotel rooms had usually resulted in many hours of the two of them naked and tangled up in the bedsheets, or, on a few occasions, with Vision pressing Wanda against a shower wall, or her climbing into his lap if the movie they were watching didn't catch her attention quick enough.
Vision wouldn't give up any of these moments with Wanda, not a single one. And he loved the life they had now, him and her and Tommy and Billy, their own little happy family unit. But sometimes, quite often, actually, he still wanted to give her more, especially on days that were meant to be celebrations.
"Vision" Wanda chuckled, when he mentioned this to her as they'd been bathing the twins one day. "I loved our anniversaries.."
"But.."
"I mean it, Vizh. I know none of them were perfect, not even the one I made up.. But I really don't need anything fancy. I'm happy just to have time with you, especially after all the times our time together has been cut short.."
"I know.." Vision sighed. "I know.. I just.. I'd like the opportunity to take you out, give you the kind of Anniversary that every other couple has.."
Wanda looked at him sadly for a moment, lifting Tommy out of the tub, tightening her grip when he squirmed, and feeling slightly guilty, knowing she was at least part of the reason why they could not simply go out whenever they wanted.
"This really means a lot to you, doesn't it?"
"It does" Vision lifted Billy out of the tub, wrapping his son in a towel to dry him off before he could get cold. "And I know it's silly to worry about it so much, and rather impossible since we don't have anyone to watch the twins. I thought about contacting Clint, but it's a long way to travel for a night's babysitting, and he has a family of his own, and.."
"He's quite busy at the moment anyway" Wanda added, drying Tommy. "I spoke to him last week.. He missed so much time with Laura and the kids because of the blip that he is really serious about retirement this time. He was about to start training a replacement Hawkeye so he can feel better about stepping away."
"Oh.."
Again, Wanda found herself guilt-stricken. But.. Maybe there was actually something she could do.
"Our Anniversary is still a week and a half away, right?"
"Yes.." Vision looked at her, wondering what exactly she was thinking about.
"Well.." Wanda hesitated for a moment. "If you really wanted to go out, there is maybe, maybe, somebody I can get in contact with about watching the boys.. And maybe we can plan an overnight trip, to make it more worth their while to come.. But these are all very, very big maybes, okay? I don't want you getting your hopes up.."
"I won't" Vision replied, yet he could not help feeling just a little excited.
So, feeling somewhat nervous, and rather uncertain, Wanda sent a secret message to her potential babysitter.
Even if they had parted on surprisingly civil terms, this person had no reason to help her, and a large part of her expected to hear a big fat 'No', or more likely, no reply at all. Who on Earth would agree to travel to a cabin in the middle of absolutely nowhere, to babysit for a person who really, they barely knew, and who in the past had caused them quite a lot of trouble?
So Wanda waited for a reply, expecting a big fat no, and that she would have to break Vision's heart and tell him he couldn't take her out for their anniversary, mostly because she had screwed up and taken a town hostage, leaving the world at large thinking she was insane, forcing them to spend most of their lives locked in a cabin with no-one to babysit their children.
But Wanda's babysitter didn't say no. The reply came back as a yes.
So, Vision began eagerly researching locations for an overnight trip, somewhere he could take Wanda to eat, maybe to dance, a nice hotel to spend the night in. And Wanda would listen, smile and nod, offer opinions on his suggestions.
However internally, all the while, Wanda was left concerned that she had made a big mistake, and she was going to spend her first Wedding Anniversary being carted back to the Raft. She didn't think that's what would happen, but she couldn't help worrying about it anyway.
When the day came, and Wanda heard a shy knock at the door, she ordered Vision to take the twins to the nursery before she nervously answered it, finding a familiar and equally nervous woman on the other side.
"Hello, Monica.."
"Hi, Wanda.."
