Some time has passed since Goku's return to the living world he spends his time training his kids and himself he has stepped down from fighting for the time being but knows he has to keep training just in case he is needed Goku is training with a fusion of Goten and Goku Jr the fusion is holding his own against Goku before defusing in the middle of a punch
"You boys are getting stronger have you thought about a name for your fusion yet"
Goku says slightly out of breath "Tenku? I don't know do you have any ideas Goten" Goku Jr asks "That name sounds funny Jr" Goten answers Goku just laughs Bardock walks up to them asking if they want to go camping Goku and the boys say yes but than Goku asks "Is this ok with Chi-Chi dad?" "It was her idea" Bardock answers they went and got ready and walk for about five miles before deciding that this is the perfect camping spot Bardock tells stories about his past and even the legend of the super saiyan god even the method of creating one five pure harted saiyans join hands and put their energy into a sixth saiyan creating a temporary god then once the stories stoped Goku asks "What happened to Bardock Jr I haven't seen him in a while"
Bardock answers "He signed up for the military he is on a hostage rescue unit but he will be back in about a month" Goku is happy to hear his younger brother is saving lives "Hey boys what should we get Bulma for her birthday" Goku asks "Let's ask mom" Goten answers Goku agrees
Two months later
It is Bulma's birthday finally every one is having a good time but then two unexpected guests arrive Lord Beerus and Whis Bardock and Vegeta are terrified no one knows why Angel than asks "Why are you scared grandpa" Bardock explains that Beerus is a god of destruction "I'm looking for the super saiyan god" Beerus says Bardock explains that one doesn't exist yet but they can create one Beerus allows them to create one but telling Bardock he will be the super saiyan god even calling him by his name this sends a chill down Bardock's spine "How do you know my name" Bardock asks Beerus answers "From scientist to soldier one of the smartest saiyans to ever exist also one of the strongest a low class researcher ending up being a great warrior even the king was afraid of you if anyone here has the right to be a super saiyan god it's you Bardock"
this leaves Vegeta shocked could this be true that didn't matter now they did the process giving Bardock the power of a god they begin to fight it's pretty even in the beginning but Bardock ends up winning surprising whis he offers to train Bardock and any other saiyan who wants to come along "Just how much have you been holding back in our training matches father?" Raditz asked Bardock explains he never held back it just felt like his body was made for the super saiyan god power
"You have one week to get your things together before I get back to pick you up" Whis says before leaving eventually they start training mastering super saiyan god
their training continues one day some one who looks like Beerus shows up proposing a tournament Beerus agrees and then the Beerus look alike Lord Champa leaves knowing that Champa didn't see all of the saiyans Goku has a kind of funny idea Goku blurts out "I have the perfect idea for the five fighters we need that other destroyer only saw Vegeta and I why don't we get all of the saiyans who look like me and dad so it would be me,dad,Bardock Jr,Goten and Goku Jr" Beerus thinks this would be hilarious and decided that the would be the team after all they all had the same training with whis and could use super saiyan god

The tournament is about to begin Champa knew Beerus had sayains but wasn't expecting five of the and all of looking exactly the same he thinks this is cheating but then Beerus explains that they are all family not the same person
the fights began Bardock taking the lead easily winning every fight until the final opponent Bardock learns about the time skip ability Hit has after a good beating but knowing it won't help him he powers up to super saiyan god and than super saiyan blue and with one faster than the speed of light movement Hit was out of the ring this put fear into the heart of Champa that one mortal could have this amount of power "What are you how do you have this much power" Champa shouts Bardock smiles and says "I am just a normal saiyan but when I fight my grandchildren to train them I hit a lot harder they are far stronger then all of your fighters put together it's sad if you think I'm strong your lucky my son Kakarot didn't fight he is far stronger than I am" Champa is shocked but some one else shows up the grand Zeno he says he wants to host a tournament he is thinks it's funny that all of the fighters had the same hair and look Bardock explains that this was his sons idea grand Zeno smiles and then he vanished every one goes home to relax shortly after Gohan walks up to his parents house he introduces his family to his brand new daughter Pan every one is happy to see this especially his best friend Bardock Jr happily says "She is a cute one although it's strange to think about how we first met we were kids and now look at you you have a daughter it's amazing I hope I can have a child of my own one day" "thank you uncle I hope you have a kid one day as well it is strange to be a father but I love it" Gohan replies
a few days later
Goku is sitting in a field Chi-Chi walks up to him and sits down beside him "I can't believe it it feels like just yesterday Gohan was born and now I'm a grandpa I'm proud of him" Goku says beginning to lay down staring at the blue sky "I know I'm also proud" Chi-Chi says laying down next to Goku he smiles and they begin to talk about the old days and when they first met when they were kids they are happy with how life turned out Goku looks at Chi-Chi and says "I love you Chi-Chi I'm sorry for not being around as much as I should be I'm going to take a break from training for a while to spend time with you" this makes Chi-Chi happy "I love you too" she replies
