Okay, back with a new chapter! The story will get a little dark and sad in a couple of chapters.
Bubbles P.O.V.
The beach was beautiful. At this time the sun was setting over the water and I couldn't pull my eyes away. The rays of yellow, blue and pink were staining the sky, it was...breathtaking. We all headed to the lobby of the hotel and sat down while our teacher checked in.
"Hopefully our rooms are a little close. Honestly, I don't want to be a room with someone I hate." Butch said whispering in my ear, Butch is much taller than me so he was practically having his hands on his knees and leaning over to talk to me. Even then he is still taller than me. I smiled and nodded my head. I am pretty sure everyone was feeling this way, I mean you wouldn't want to be somewhere alone with someone you hate right? After about 30 minutes of waiting in the lobby, our teacher returned and handed us our room keys, I was relieved to find out that she had placed Brick, Butch and I in a larger room than everyone else. We all grabbed our bags and walked over to the elevators. We were on the highest floor which was really nice. Once we entered our room we were kind of shocked to see what was inside.
"Wow. This is different, like really different." Brick said while examining the suite. Full kitchen, three bedrooms, a living room, three full bathrooms and a balcony with a perfect view of the ocean.
"I call the biggest bedroom!" Butch said and flew over to the "largest room". Brick rolled his eyes while I gave a chuckle. Even though Butch was 17 years old he still has the energy and happiness of a six year old. "He does know that the rooms are mostly the same size right?" Brick asked. I smiled, even though Butch really thought that his bedroom was the largest.
"Well, I am going to go and settle in my room. Then maybe later we could go down to the pool?" I said while Brick nodded. "Heck ya! I wanna go to the pool!" Butch said from inside his room. Super hearing is a real gift. I walked into the room on the other side of the hallway. It was a decent size for me at least. I set my bags on my queen sized bed and I unpacked my clothes.
"Hey Bubs! You ready?" Brick asked while leaning on my doorway. He was wearing red swim shorts and a black button down shirt which he left open. "No, but I am about to put on my bathing suit." I said. He nodded and closed the door as he left the room. I grabbed a light blue bikini set. It complimented by body shape very nicely. I tied my hair in a slightly messy bun. I grabbed a oversized dark blue graphic tee with a celestial sun on the front. I exited the room and went into the living room where my friends were waiting for me.
"Okay! Y'all ready? " Butch said. He always got annoyed when he wanted to go somewhere and we were taking too long. He has the emotional range of a teaspoon. Brick and I nodded our heads and walked to the door before grabbing our room keys.
"Wow. Look at the toddler with her two cracked out dads." Princess...frick you. I continued to walk down the hallway before I heard Butch yell at her.
"What the HELL are you doing here?" Butch said. At this point I needed to stay because if Butch decided to hurt her I could calm him down. "I am staying on this floor with Ram and Kevin. You got a problem with that?" She was definetly teasing him.
"Butch leave her alone. It's fine. Lets go." I said while pulling his arm away and to the elevators.
"Why do you keep defending them? All they ever do is bully the crap out of you! They need to learn a lesson in respect. The hard way." Butch yelled at me in the elevator. "Butch, leave her alone. If she wants to ignore them let her ignore them. Geez." Brick scolded. Butch was right though. I never stood up for myself. I avoided my problems and cut myself off from people, which is probably why my only friends are my sisters, the RowdyRuff boys and Robin. We exited the elevator, and walked through the lobby towards a set of doors that leads outside to four pools.
"WOW. Who knew that a hotel had two giant pools that are practically the same size. The hotel industry is a monster." Brick said with a smirk and walked over to a long chair and left Butch and I confused. Brick always had a sarcastic and serious view on life and had a strange obsession with how major industries in the world are ripping us off. Yeah, I have no idea.
We grabbed the farthest seats which was closer to one of the many hot tubs.
"This water isn't as hot as I thought it would be. Hey Brick mind turning up the heat?" Butch asked while taking off his shirt. We all had similar powers super strength, flight, super hearing all that jazz, but we all had our own special powers. Butch can make energy shields and can turn his skin into a alloy metal. Brick has fire/smoke generation. I on the other hand had a strange power, I am able to speak every language in the world and i can talk to all animals. But, my new power is really...different I am able to turn into a giant wolf. Like a giant wolf, my fur is white and my eyes are still blue, I am so large I am taller than Butch.
"You are so annoying" Brick really hated when anyone teased him about his powers. He took his shirt off and walked over to the side of the small pool and dipped his hand in the water. In a couple of seconds the water started to bubble up and steam came from the water. He pulled his hand out before climbing into the pool and swam across to sit on the opposite side of the pool from Butch.
"Come on in Bub's. Geez, we are on freackin' vacation. Enjoy it." Butch said, he always liked it when we had fun together. I didn't take my shirt off but, instead I did sit on the edge of the pool with my feet in.
"What's wrong with you?" Butch had the weirdest look of disgust in my direction until Brick splashed him with water. "Butch, I am not going to tell you again. SHUT THE HELL UP AND LEAVE HER ALONE." Sometimes I feel like Brick really doesn't like his brothers most of the time. I felt really uncomfortable because this would the first time I have worn a bikini outside of the pool in our backyard.
I decided to let it go and to take my shirt off and I threw it on my chair. I climbed into the pool and sat next to Brick.
"Look who's decided to grace us with her presence." scoffing as Brick turned around to see Princess and her friends entering the pool floor. They were all wearing bikini's that were very revealing, and stupid heels. Princess and her friends has always been the center of attention, even when we are fighting monsters she purposely puts herself and other's in danger.
"That's why I am so uncomfortable when it comes to wearing bathing suits in public." I said as I s sunk my nose and mouth under water and stayed there in embarrassment.
As I said this Princess sat her bag down and walked over to Ram, she was obviously flirting with him and I could tell that the conversation was getting heated because he kept touching her leg.
"That is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen." Butch said while swimming over to the other side of me. I almost didn't want to turn around to see them kissing so I sat up and re-did my hair. Princess and Ram were a strange couple, I mean they were a couple but you often seen Princess making out with Kevin and Ram making out with her friends. But they don't seem to care.
"Yeah, I mean no one wants to see that. I would care less if one of them got mono." I said. Brick and Butch chuckled and turned around. We talked about for another 30 minutes before Kevin came out to the pool and gave some larger object to Ram which he stuffed in his bag and looked in our direction.
We got out of the pool after a hour to dry off and get something to eat. There is a bar outside in the center of the pool area which was surrounded with the lazy river. At this point it was pretty late but, we decided to stay a little longer to see the sunset. There wasn't a lot of people in the pool hour so it was nice to have some peace and quiet. Butch walked over to the bar to grab a menu so we could order our food. We all decided to get the sharing size of buffalo and lemon pepper wings and fries. After Butch came back from ordering our food.
"Hopefully tastes as good as it looks, I am so hungry." Butch said while scrolling through Instagram. "Yeah, same." I wasn't really much of a foodie but I was a good cook. Soon our food came and we instantly dove in. Within two minutes of us eating our food, Ram out of nowhere reached into his bag and threw the object towards me, and it ended up creating a giant cut on Brick's arm.
"Ha! Just trying to see how fast your reflects were. Not too fast, I'm surprised y'all haven't stained the walls yet." Ram shouted from the other hot tub. Butch immediately got up to say something back but, I quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
"Just ignore him, he just wants to make you angry." Ram was smart but he wasn't that smart.
"I don't care. I am going to kick the litteral crap out of him." Butch glared at him.
"I don't want you getting hurt. Please don't" I gave him my signature puppy eyes, until he sighed and leaned back on the chair. I quickly grabbed my shirt and put pressure on Brick's arm. It wasn't bleeding to bad but, I could tell that it did hurt by judging Brick's face. I tightly wrapped my shirt around his muscular arm.
"Butch, can you pack this food up and bring it to the room? I need to clean Brick's wound." He scoffed and muttered,"whatever". I sighed and walked with Brick to the room as he held my shirt to the cut.
"Okay, ummm...sit on the couch and I will grab the first aid kit" He opened his mouth to say something but smiled instead. I went into the kitchen and grabbed the alcohol and bandages before I hurried to the couch where Brick was sitting.
"Okay, you are going to be completely fine. Now this might sting a little." I began to pour the alcohol on to the cut. Brick exhaled deeply while I wrapped the cut with the bandage.
"How does that feel?" I nit my lip so hard my lip might have started to bleed.
"It feels " He said while moving his arm back and forth before walking into his room. I sighed before putting everything back and heading into my room. Right as Butch came up with the rest of the food, I closed my door.
I took my bathing suit off, put my robe on and walked into the bathroom. I turned on the water as I prepared for a long bubble bath. Thankfully the hotel already provided lavender bubble bath soap, so I poured some in the water and waited for 10 minutes before I turned the water off. As I slid into the water I let my hair down and let it float in the lavender waves. I couldn't help but, think about how this trip could get any worse. I ignored it and tried to ignore it and enjoy myself for once. After about another 30 minutes I got out and drained the water. I wrapped myself in a towel and sat on the bed before i got a call from Blossom.
Answers Phone Call:
Blossom: Hey! How are you?
Bubbles: I'm good, How about you?
Blossom: I am doing well! Sorry we didn't tell you that we were leaving, it just kinda happened.
Bubbles: It's fine. Where's Boomer and Buttercup?
Blossom: I honestly have no idea, we took a nature walk earlier and about an hour after that they ran off doing something stupid.
Bubbles: Of course
Blossom: Where's Butch and Brick?
Bubbles: They might be showering, there was an incident at the pool today and Brick got hurt. He's fine though. I just got out the shower.
Blossom: Og, I am so sorry let me let you change and we can talk later.
Bubbles: No way! It is completely fine, I will just change off camera.
I set my phone on my bed and I walked off camera and to my bag. I opened it and grabbed some dark blue shorts and a matching crop top.
Blossom: OMG! What happened?
Bubbles: Ram threw a knife at us and it cut his arm
Blossom: He is such a jerk jesus christ
Bubbles: yeah, but its fine
Blossom: Well, I will let you go. Tell Brick I said hi!
Bubbles: why haven't you told him that you liked him yet? I mean, its been like what 2 years since you got a REAL crush on him?
Blossom: It's scary and he might not even like me back. can you tell him please?
Bubbles: Fine, but when we get back you need to tell him yourself
Blossom: fine, okay well I will talk to you later.
Bubbles: Bye!
I hung the phone up and I left my room to get some food. Butch was sitting at the island.
"Who was that?" Butch said mouthfilled with oranges.
"Blossom" His eyes immediately grew big and asked if Buttercup was there. I told him no and that she was with Boomer running around in the woods. Butch had a huge crush on Buttercup and she had a crush on him. Even though they act like they don't like each other they are such a chaotic duo. Same, with Brick and Blossom the difference is that they always blush really hard when they are around each other.
-Flashback-
"Thanks for inviting us!" Boomer said. It was 190 degrees outside in June. Record temperature for Townsville so we invited the Rowdyruff Boys to our pool. It was actually a pretty cool pool, perfect for a hot summer day. The boys were setting there stuff down on the back porch. Buttercup was already swimming, Blossom was getting the food and I was setting up the speaker.
"No problem! Its been really hot lately and we can hang out so its a win, win!" I said while they were taking their shirts off. Blossom was making fruit salads and some buffalo chicken tenders. She was almost done while Boomer, Butch and Buttercup were already playing volleyball in the pool, Brick was watching them and I had just connected my phone to the speaker and played some music.
"Okay foods almost done! but I will put the fruit out early just in case." Blossom was coming down a small set of stairs that led down to the back porch holding a huge bowl of fruit. She seemed to be having trouble carrying the bowl so Brick went to go and help her.
"I got it." He said as he took the bowl from her and carried it to the table. Blossom looked like a tomato so I pulled her back inside.
"Hey, you okay?" I was a little worried. "He is so hot" said this really slow almost like she was in a trance.
"I can't stand it anymore!" Blossom said gripping her hair. I had no idea that she liked Brick. "Well, if you like him so much than just tell him." It wasn't hard for me to confess to Boomer.
"You must be crazy" she said.
-End of Flashback-
We ended up talking for about another hour before we went to bed. I watched Outer Banks for another hour and fell asleep.
I really hope tomorrow is much better.
