Chapter 3
Today, class-1A is on the bus heading to an office campus facility for rescue training. The students were just chatting and talk about their quirk until Aizawa told them to shut up and they are here. They get out of the bus and saw pro hero Thirteen is waiting for them in front of a building. Uraraka get excited to see her favorite hero.
"Hello, there students," Thirteen greets them. "I design this building to help you simulate all kinds of accidents and disasters. Like a flood, landslides, fire, etc, and I call this place the Unforeseen Simulation Joint or USJ for short." She said as she led them to the building.
"Hey Thirteen, where's Allmight?" Aizawa asks as they walk into the building.
"He just arrived and resting at the teacher lounge." Thirteen responds as she shows a three-finger letting him know that Allmight used up his quirk. Aizawa sigh and went into the building with the students. The Students are amazed to see different areas of the building. "Alright students, before we begin, there are a few things I would like to talk about. I'm certain that all of you already know about my quirk is called Black Hole." She said as she activated a small portion of her quirk on her finger. "No matter the material may get sucked into its vortex. It will turn to dust."
"That quirk is perfect for removing wreckage on an injured people in disasters," Izuku said. Uraraka nodded to agree.
"True, however, I could easily kill someone with my quirk." She said in a serious tone. "My power is no different from everyone quirks here. Naturally in this superhuman world, quirks are strictly regulated and the requirements for their lawful use enforced. That being said, please don't forget that each of you possesses a quirk that can go awry. One wrong step is all it takes to be able to kill others accidentally. During Mr. Aizawa's quirk assessment test, you learned your respective quirk true potential and during Allmight's trial of battle, you took away a true sense of brandishing those power against one another. Now in this lesson will teach you how to wield our quirks for the sake of human life. Your quirks do not exist only to hurt others. Please leave this exercise having fully understood that your quirks exist to help people. That is all, thank you for listening." She ended her speech with a bow. Iida claps while Uraraka complements her favorite hero.
Aizawa was about to explain to his class what they going to do today until they notice that the lights are flickering and a huge black and purple portal opened in the middle of the plaza. Villains are starting to walk out of the portal.
"Wait, are we starting alright? I thought we're doing rescue training?" Kirishima asks.
Aizawa immediately in a fighting position and yelled. "Stand back, does are real villains." He stares at Thirteen and Kiminari to contact the school but to no avail.
"Don't worry Aizawa, I got this," Izuku said as he used massage to Nezu. 'Principal Nezu, this is Izuku Midoriya from class-1A and USJ is under attack. Send help.'
Meanwhile, at the UA, Nezu was about to enter the teacher's lounge until he heard Izuku's massage. He immediately rushes into the teacher's lounge where shocking Allmight. Allmight was about to ask what's wrong but Nezu cut him off and tell him that USJ is under attack. After hearing this, Allmight rushes out of the teacher's lounge while Nezu let to informs the other staff.
Back in USJ, the students are starting to worry while Aizawa orders Thirteen to evacuate the students while he jumps down to the plaza and starts fighting villains.
Thirteen and class-1a were running to the exit but a black-purple mist blocks their path. "Sorry for coming unannounced but is this a perfect place to end Allmight." The mist villain said. Bakugou and Kirishima tried to attack him but it seems that their attacks didn't do anything. The villain spread his mist teleporting some of the class to a different area of the facility while others manage to safety.
Izuku was teleported at the flood zone. He dropped into the water and notices a villain is waiting for him.
"Nothing personal kid but I'll have to kill you." A water villain said as he charges at Izuku. Izuku was about to cast a freezing spell about Tsuyu kicks the villain away while holding Mineta then her tongue to wrap around Izuku and drags him to a ship. She throws both Izuku and Mineta at the ship then climbs on the ship.
"Thank you, Asui," Izuku said.
"Call me Tsu and boys are we in a pickle." Tsuyu said as she looks back at the water where a bunch of villains surrounding the ship.
"Yeah, we're sitting ducks in here," Izuku said as he analyzes their situation. "They probably cause the break-in yesterday and get information on Allmight schedule."
Mineta is panicking. "But they couldn't kill Allmight, right?"
"Allmight is human just like the rest of us. Allmight is not invincible." Izuku responds as he looks at the villains in the water. "We need to get back with the other."
"Are you nuts? There're villains down there. We should just wait here until the heroes arrive." Mineta panicky said.
"We'll die before then. The villains down there won't just sit there and do nothing." Izuku retorted back. 'They're not attacking yet, I wonder why?' he thought to himself as he analyzes their situation. One of the villains attacks the ship causing it to shake. Mineta panic and throws his sticky balls at the water. Izuku notices that the villains are avoiding Mineta's sticky balls. "They don't know anything about our quirks," Izuku said.
Tsuyu heard him and look at the villains avoiding Mineta's balls. "You're right Midoriya but unless you have a plan, we're still sitting ducks here, kero."
"If you guys tell me about your quirk and I might come up with some idea to get out of here without fighting," Izuku said.
"Well, my quirk gives me abilities of a frog, kero. I could stick into walls, jump long distances, enhanced swimming abilities, camouflage, and I could stretch my tongue up to 20 meters." Tsuyu responds.
"That's cool Tsu," Izuku compliments her.
"I could also eject and wash my stomach and my mucous has different effects." She added.
Izuku is slightly disgust but also curious about her quirk. Then he turns and asks Mineta about his quirk.
"I could pluck balls off my head. My balls are very sticky and can stick to any surface and anyone but myself. I could also bounce off them." Mineta responds.
"Good, I have an idea. I'll go first and Tsu, on my mark you carry Mineta and jumps off the ship." Izuku said. Tsuyu nodded. Then Izuku turn to Mineta. "Mineta, once you and Tsu are on the air, you throw many balls as possible."
Mineta was about to complain but Izuku already jumps off the ship and cast a spell on him to make him float then his eyes glow into bright blue as the water is starting to form a huge whirlpool. Tsuyu sees this and jumps when she saw Midoriya's eyes glows. Mineta quickly tosses his sticky balls into the water. The villains are being dragged by the currents to the center of the whirlpool while getting stuck together by Mineta's sticky balls. A few seconds later, the whirlpool stop, and all the villains are bunches together unable to move.
Izuku levitation spells end and drops him into the water again. Izuku swims to the shore as he catches up with Tsuyu and Mineta. They stay hidden as they approach the shore then they saw Aizawa is pin down by a huge villain with an exposed brain next to a villain with a bunch of hands over his body. The mist villain from earlier comes up next to the villain with a bunch of hands over his body.
"Kurogiri, have you finished Thirteen off?" The hands-covered villain asks.
"I'm sorry Shigaraki. I only to knock Thirteen down and one of the students manage to escapes." The villain now known as Korugiri responds.
"Damn Kurogiri, if you weren't our warp gate I would kill you right now." The hands-covered villain named Shigaraki said then sighed. "Well, I guess it's game over then. Let's go home." Mineta heard this and begin to sigh in relief while Izuku and Tsuyu felt something off. "But before we leave," The villain looks where they at. "Let's destroy his pride by killing one of his students." Then he rushes at Tsuyu and was about to reach her but Izuku shoots out a green beam of crackling energy at the villain pushing him away from her. The villain groans then stare at Izuku. "Nomu, kill that boy." He orders the huge creature.
Izuku immediately creates four mirror images of himself to confuse the Nomu. "Get Aizawa out of here I'll keep them busy." He orders his two classmates. Tsuyu was about to argue but Izuku turns toward her and orders her in a deep tone. "Get him out if here now!" Tsuyu is a bit surprised but listens and does what he said. Tsuyu and Mineta rush toward Aizawa and quickly grab him then rush toward the stairs.
The Nomu attacks one of the mirror images only to hit nothing. Izuku pulls out a dagger then he rushes toward the creature with his mirror images. He slashes the creature and quickly dashes away but the creature's wound healed quickly.
Shigaraki on him laughs. "Your little dagger wouldn't do anything to my Nomu. He is designed to kill Allmight." Izuku blast another beam of energy at the creature but the creature just tanks the attack and heals some of his burns. "You probably thought he only have a regeneration quirk, did you? Like I said before, Nomu is designed to kill Allmight so he has regeneration and shock absorption quirk."
Izuku smirks as he changes his dagger with another one but with dark violet dripping on the tip of the blade. He charges toward the Nomu again while the Nomu did the same. The Nomu throws a punch but Izuku dodges it and slashes him on his arm then rushes away from him.
"You fool didn't you hear what I said?" Shigaraki said.
"I heard you but let me asks you something," Izuku said as he stares at Shigaraki. "Is he also resistance to poison?" The Nomu is starting to seize up and unable to move. Izuku throws the dagger at Shigaraki. Kurogiri quickly used his quirk to throw the dagger back at Izuku. Izuku immediately unsummon the dagger before it hit him.
Shigaraki notices that his Nomu isn't moving. "Don't just stand there and attack him." He ordered but the Nomu didn't move. "Nomu, I order you to kill him!" He yelled angrily but the Nomu still not responding. This pisses Shigaraki off and starts scratching his neck then glared at Izuku. "You, what did you do to my Nomu?"
"The blade I used on him has paralyzing poison on it. He won't be moving in the next hour." Izuku responds.
Soon after he said that Allmight crashes through the door and announces his presence catching everyone nearby attention. Izuku used this opportunity and take a shot at Shiguraki with a lightning arrow. Shiguraki felt a sharp pain on his shoulder then a sudden shock of electricity going through his body knocking him down unconscious. Kurogiri notices it and quickly covers Shiguraki then teleports both of them out of there.
Izuku unsummon his bow and sigh knowing that Allmight can handle the remaining villains. He runs to his classmates near the entrance where he saw both Thirteen and Aizawa are heavily wounded. He chants a tune as both Thirteen and Aizawa are starting to glow. His classmates were shocked as they saw their teachers' wounds are slowly healing up. Everyone was about to ask him when Iida comeback with the U.A. teachers right behind him. Nezu orders some of the teachers to round up the students while the other takes care of the remaining villains. Recovery Girl went to check on Aizawa and Thirteen only to see Aizawa and Thirteen are glowing and their wounds are healing up. She looks around and sees Midoriya who still chanting.
As soon as Izuku stop chanting, he said. "I patch them up but they need a professional to check if there's some internal damage."
"Ok sonny, I'll take it from here while you go with your classmate." Recovery Girl said.
Izuku nodded and went with his classmate while the pro heroes do their job. A few moments later, police came and took our statement and arresting the remaining villains in the facility while the paramedics took Thirteen and Aizawa to the hospital. After the police took their statement, Principal Nezu announces that classes are canceled for today and tomorrow so that they can have a proper investigation.
A few days later, classes resume to normal as class-1a talks about what happened at USJ while waiting for their teacher. They wonder who going to teach them since Aizawa is still recovering. A few seconds later, the door opens and Aizawa walks into the room with a bunch of bandages wrapped around him like a mummy. Everyone was shocked to see Aizawa this soon. Iida was concern about his health as raises his hand and asks if it is ok for him to work with his condition. Aizawa answered that his health is none of their concern and their battle isn't ever. This causes everyone to be nervous until Aizawa announces the sports festival is coming in two weeks which calm everyone down.
"Wait, is it really ok to have the sports festival after what happen at USJ?" Jiro asks.
"The sports festival is too big to cancel and this is your chance to be scouted by hero agency," Aizawa responds.
"But what if villains attack the sports festival?" Mineta asks.
"We tightened up security plus there will be a lot of pro heroes attending there," Aizawa responds. "You only have three chances in your school life to show your potential to the world, so you better work hard." He said before he pulls out his sleeping bag and sleeps while letting his students chat among themselves. Everyone is excited and starting to talk among themselves.
Izuku was talking with Iida until Uraraka grabs his right shoulder from the back. When he turns to face her, he sees a very determined look on her face which shocks him and Iida. Soon she chants that she going to do her best at the sports festival while some of their classmates' cheer. A few moments later, Izuku asks Uraraka why she wanted to become a hero while Iida is curious as well.
Uraraka awkwardly scratches her head. "Well to truth is… I do it for the money."
Iida and Izuku were surprised by her answer. "You really do this for money?" Izuku asks.
"Yeah, I know it's not noble reason as you guys," Uraraka responds a bit embarrassed.
"Uraraka, there's nothing wrong with wanting a comfortable life," Iida said while moving his hands.
"But it's not for me I'm doing it for my parents," Uraraka said then scratches her head. "Well… you see, my parents own a construction company."
"I see if you have a license you can help your parents by using your quirk to cut the cost of lifting material," Iida said.
"I know right, but my parents don't want me to do that, and I focus on my own dream," Uraraka said while she having a flashback of her parents going home tired but keep a smile on their face so that their daughter doesn't have to worry. "So I'll become a hero to earn enough money to give my parents a comfortable life."
Iida claps and yells bravo causing Uraraka to fluster while Izuku smile at her.
A few hours later at the class-1a, everyone was about to leave but a bunch of students is blocking their way.
"What's going on here?" Uraraka asks.
Iida steps in and asks. "What is our business with our class?"
"They're here to scout the competition four-eyes," Bakugou said as he pushes through his classmate then looks at the crowd. "Those extras finally know who the real deals are."
"Bakugou, you shouldn't call them extra just because you don't know their name." Iida scolds Bakugou but Bakugou ignores him.
"Wow, is everyone in this hero course are egotistic as him?" A tired-looking teen with violet hears speak up as he walks in front of the crowd. "All of you should be worried. Everyone here wants to be in the hero course but failed the entrance exam, but if some of us did well enough at the sports festival, some of us might get transfer to the hero course while some of you might get transfers out. Consider this a declaration of war."
Few of class-1a was stun on have bold the violet teen was. Then they heard someone trying to call them. They all turn and saw a teen with silver hair and sharp teeth. "Hey, I'm from class-1b and I heard you guys fought some villain or something. Stop hugging the spotlight."
Bakugou just scoffs and walks away. Kirishima tried to stop him but Bakugou shrugs him off and said. "I don't give a fuck. I'll just beat them all and be number one." Then he walks away while Kirishima thinks whats Bakugou said was manly.
On the day of the sports festival in the waiting room, everyone in class-1a is getting ready while Todoroki walks up to Midoriya.
"Midoriya," Todoroki said catching Izuku's attention. "You manage to beat the villain who was biological design to kill Allmight, so today I will beat you."
This catches Midoriya off guard while Kirishima went between them and said. "Hey, we don't need to fight. We're all friends here, right?"
"I'm not here to make friends," Todoroki responds at Kirishima then turn to Midoriya. "Consider this my declaration of war."
"Ok," Midoriya said nonchalantly. This irritates Todoroki. He thinks that Midoriya is not taking him seriously.
A few moments later, they are called to march to the stadium with the other students of UA while Present Mic announces their class and their course. After the whole students are line up, Midnight walks to the stadium then announces that she will be the chief referee and asks for Izuku Midoriya to walks toward the stage for the opening speech.
Izuku didn't know about this but there's nothing he could do. He walks toward the stage and said. "I wasn't told that I'll be doing this, but luckily, I have something to say to everyone who's competing today." Then the atmosphere suddenly becomes denser around the stadium as Midoriya lets out a little of his killing intent. "You better give it your all or else." He said while staring at his competitors. Everyone in the stadium felt a chill down their spine.
'Looks like defeating will be harder than I thought.' Todoroki thought.
'It's weaker than before.' Bakugou thought as he remembers the last time Izuku did this. 'He better not hold back on me.' He thought angrily.
Allmight sitting at the boot shaken by Midoriya's killing intent as he staring at the teen. 'Those eyes, did he kill before?' He thought for a second then shakes his head. 'No, his file is clean but he looks like he fought a war before.' He narrows his eyes. 'Young Midoriya, what type of hell you been through.'
