Chapter 3 'The Truth comes out'
A couple of days went by from the night of the vampire Soiree and when Kaname had kissed Jess. Winter break was just a day away of starting, Jess was walking up to the Moon dorm to speak with Kaname about everything.
Opening the door, she stepped into sense most of the vampires where gone. Closing the door, she headed up the stairs. Rukia and Akatsuki where heading back their rooms when they saw Jess "Why is she here again?" "Just leave it be Rukia" Akatsuki said to her walking away. Rukia frowned but followed.
Jess reaching the top she right away headed for Kaname's personal suite, reaching it Jess knocked on the door. "Come in" she heard Kaname's voice, opening the door Jess stepped in she closed the door to only see Kaname on the couch with a half open top. She flushed but walked over to him "Kaname" Kaname looked over to her and smiled "Lady Jess" Jess smiled and sat down next to him "So we gonna talk about everything?" Kaname nodded "Do you know of who I truly am?" Jess nodded "Yes I do, Uncle told me"
"Well... it started when I first woke up from being resurrected" Kaname first started.
Zero sighed laying down in the hay in the barn, lily was nibbling at his hair "Mhmm what is it Lily?"
"Found you! you're in here again?" it was Yuki, Zero sighs and sat up "What do you want?" Yuki frowned at him "we have to run our rounds Zero, Jess is busy with some extra homework that's what she said"
Zero getting up "I see" Yuki looked at him more "Do you like Jess?" Zero's eyes widen and turned to Yuki fast with a flushed faced "What are you talking about?" Yuki huffed "Oh please. I'm not stupid Zero!"
Zero looks away "I don't know what you're talking about" Yuki shook her head "come on let's get our round done!" Zero walked passed her "whatever" Yuki frowned at him 'what is his problem?! Stupid ZERO!' she followed after him.
At the Mikcloud manor in the chamber of the veil, Jetter was sitting at his desk going through papers of the marketing of his new blood pills. He smiled to see most of the product was going up "Looks like sails are going well" then his phone went off, he right away answered it "Hello?" "Jetter it's me Kaine" Jetter blinked "Oh Kaine is everything alright? Is my niece alright?"
He heard Kaine sigh "Well I think I should let you know that he has contacted me to see Kaname, he found where is your niece is..." Jetter frowned and stood up "Jareth found her...?" "it seems so, he wishes to speak with Kaname... you know I can't refuse to let Kaname know... Vampire business goes to him..." Jetter bites his lip "I see... send her home for the winter break I know she will be upset..." "Alright, I'll let her know that she has go home for winter break" Jetter sighs sitting back down "Thank you Kaine" he said hanging up, biting his lip 'this isn't good...' "one day she will find out and she wont be happy with you" he turned to see his wife Violet standing there, with her long lavender hair and lavender eyes. Jetter frowned "she would kill me if anything..." "Well you've been lying to her all these years about her mother and Jareth, if she did kill you I wouldn't do anything" Jetter pouted and acted hurt "Oh my heart you wound me!" Violet shook her head and walked away "The truth will be the death of you"
Kaname had just told her everything, Jess sat there with her eyes closed "So when are you gonna turn Yuki back into a vampire?" Kaname sighs softly "I don't know, whenever he makes his appearance" Jess opened her eyes "I see, if he shows up I will help you take him down" Kaname looked at her "I have to wake up him, he's still asleep and possessing that child that you mentioned he properly already left that body and entered another one" Jess sighs "Mhmm I see" she thought for a moment and smirked "I know, we can stop him from switching bodies!"
Kaname blinked at her "Stop him? How?" Jess smirked "Aren't you forgetting I'm a witch Kaname and from a powerful and ancient bloodline? I have access to all sorts of magical books! All I gotta do is find the right spell!"
Kaname chuckled "I see, well I think that's a good idea" Jess chuckled "also gotta deal with Senri.. if you think he's gonna possess him then I think we should have him still here inside..." then hearing something at Kaname's window. Then both turned to the window. Jess got up and walked over opening it and Sabrina walked in carrying a letter in her mouth. Jess blinked "Sabrina?"
She kneeled and gently took the letter from Sabrina's mouth and standing back up. Kaname was walking over to her has she opened the letter and mentally read it.
A frown came on her face making him blink at her "Lady Jess?" Jess sighed "my uncle says I have to go back to the manor for winter break..." Kaname frowned slightly "I thought you weren't going?" "I guess he changed his mind..." Jess sighed and then smiled "well, I think it's a good thing.. then I can do some reaching in the Mikcloud library for a good spell"
Kaname chuckled "yeah" reaching out he gently touched her cheek making her look up at him. She flushed "Kaname..." he slightly moved her to him, leaning down his lips touched her. Her eyes closed and kissed him back. Sabrina's cat eyes narrowed then turned to the window and jumped out of it as Jess was gently pushed against the wall by Kaname has they kept kissing.
Outside Yuki and Zero were doing rounds by the night dorm, checking in case of any girls that are staying over the winter break are sneaking around. Zero sighed leaning against a tree, he has not seen Jess all day. Yuki near him with her binoculars reached the nearby woods for any fangirls. Zero's eyes shifted to the moon dorm, his eyes widen to see in the window on the second floor was Kaname and Jess kissing. Biting his lip, he felt anger more than anything. 'what the hell?!' he gripped his fist and was about to jump up there and stop when he sensed something and turns to the tree to see Sabrina on a branch looking down at him with her purple eyes. Zero blinked up at her 'Sabrina...? What is she doing?'
'Don't bother her'
His eyes widen at Sabrina 'did she just... no it's not possible...' 'I did, do not bother her' Zero's eyes widen more and gasped loudly "There's no way..." Yuki walked over "Zero why are you gasping loudly? What's wrong?" she looked at Zero with a curious look. He was still looking up at the tree, she turned to see Sabrina looking down at them. Her tail wagged gently; Yuki blinked "Sabrina...? What is she doing here? Is Jess nearby?" she turned to look around but stopped to see in Kaname's window. Jess jumping out of the window landing near them. Yuki blinked "Jess...?"
Jess smiled "Yuki! You are patrolling?" she skipped over. Yuki smiled "Yeah! You had business with Kaname?" Jess blinked and nodded "Yeah, I gotta head back to the dorm and pack..." She frowned.
Zero and Yuki frowned at her "Wait I thought you were staying here for winter break?" Jess sighs softly "I thought so too but apparently my uncle wants me to return to the mansion" she said has Sabrina jumped off the branch and on Jess's shoulder meowing. Jess chuckled "Sabrina I know, well later you two!" Jess said walking off.
Zero frowned watching her leave, Yuki sighed sadly "Man.. I was looking forward her on staying with us..." Zero sighed and patted her head "maybe next time" he said softly making Yuki giggle "yeah!"
The next morning, Jess had packed her duffle bag and Sabrina was on her shoulder. She walked outside of the dorm building there was a helicopter with the Mikcloud crest on the side was in the courtyard. Some students that where still around where whispering about it being in the courtyard. Jess groan 'really know...?'
Jess stepped over has Frank, a top security guard of the Mikcloud family waited for her. He smiled and bowed "Lady Jess" Jess smiles softly "Frank" Frank opened the doors and Jess stepped in. Frank followed her closing the door. He sat down and buckled up "you may take off know" the piolet nodded and started the helicopter then taking off. Jess looked out the window to see Yuki and Zero running to the courtyard and looking up. Jess smiled waving at them, Yuki had such a cute face waving back at her.
Kaname was looking out the window seeing the helicopter fly off. He deeply sighed missing Jess already. There was a knock on the door so Kaname softly sighed again "Come in" the door opened and Aido walked in "Lord Kaname, do you still wish me to watch over Yuki?" Kaname looked at him and nodded "yes" Aido nodded, he can sense something wrong with Kaname "Uhm... Kaname... is something wrong?" Kaname looked away "No nothing is the matter, you may leave Aido oh and I would like to have Senri to come here I wish to speak with him" Aido nodded and left the room closing the door.
Not long, Senri stepped to Kaname's room and knocked. Hearing 'come in' he opened the door and stepped in "Lord Kaname?" Kaname turned to him and smiled "Senri, come here" Senri nodded and stepped over to him "Senri I know your mother has asked for you but you will not be going home but to stay here" Senri blinked at him "why?" Kaname sighs and sat down "Sit... I think I need to tell you the reason why?" Senri nodded and sat down ready to hear what Kaname had to stay.
Next Day
A limousine approached the Mikcloud Manor, it parked in front of the manor. Frank had gotten out of the drivers spot and walked over opening the back door open. Jess got out with her duffle bag and holding a sleeping Sabrina. "Welcome home Lady Jess" Jess sighed and walked away from him to the front doors. The door opening for her, Jess walked in to see her uncle and aunt standing there waiting for her. Jetter smiled "Jessica welcome home" Violet chuckled "Jess welcome home, why don't you get settled in your room and come with me to the kitchen and make Christmas cookies" Jess smiled at her aunt "Of course Aunt violet" she walked over to them and walked past them up the stairs.
Jetter frowned "Is she upset with me?" Violet sighed "Well you know she hates it here love... you should have let her stay there... she was telling me on how happy she was gonna spend Christmas with Yuki Cross" Violet walked off.
Jess walking through the mansion finally reached her room. Opening the door, she stepped in closing it. Her room in the manor was gothic baroque modern room a deliciously dark and decadent. The chandelier was a black and bubbly, surrounded by a white molding on the ceiling. On the light wall from the door her modern desk with a Mac computer was there. A queen size bed in the middle of the room against the far wall.
Jess sighs walking over the bed and placed Sabrina on her bed. Sabrina yawned and curled up, Jess smiled at her. Jess then turned and left the room. She right away headed for the kitchen. Reaching it, the kitchen in the manor was her most favorite room besides galaxy room that was charmed to look like a moving purple blue galaxy. The kitchen was just a stunning room, top of the line Miele appliances and stunning craftsmanship combine to create an elegant chef's kitchen. A large blue island with exquisite detail makes a bold statement in the dreamy room and provides ample prep and eat-in space. Marble flooring, tray ceiling, gold chandelier and intricate cream cabinets add finishing touches to the design.
Her aunt violet with her lavender hair tied up in a bun and a Christmas theme apron on was already making cookies. Jess smiled and stepped over to the storage room opening it, there her black and gold stars/moon apron was hanging. Jess grabbed and up the apron on. Then Jess undid her braid and tied her back in a ponytail and walked up next to sink washed her hands then went right next to her aunt and dipped her hand in flour then started to help her aunt with the cookies.
Violet smiled "So how is school?" Jess smiled rolling a prefect small ball of cookie dough "good, made some friends" Violet chuckled "Ah yes, Yuki Cross right? Headmaster's adopted Daughter?" Jess nodded to her "And Lord Kaname?" Violet says with a slight smirk. Jess flushed "Aunty please don't go there..." Violet giggled at her.
Down in a stone basement Asato Ichijo was knelling, in front of him was a vampire child looking down in stone coven that was filled with blood and the body of Rido Kuran.
"So he is not coming...?" the child asked slowly. Ichijo nodded "Yes... it seems to be staying at school instead" the vampire child sighs deeply then smirked "He's one step ahead of me... he knew"
Ichijo frowned "It seems so... So what should we do know?" the vampire child sighed "send your new pet to spy" Ichijo blinked "Ichiro?" "Yes, send him there to spy... I'm sure he wants to see his brother" the vampire child chuckled "I guess I'll stay in this child for a little bit longer, my body still needs to recover a little bit longer also" Ichijo nodded "I think it would be a good idea... that woman is there also" the vampire child turned around looking at Ichijo "that woman...?"
"The witch my lord..." the vampire child gripped his fist "Lady Jess...? I see..." he turned back around "She is quiet something isn't she? She noticed I was possessing this body and even threaten to kick me out of this body at the ball... she is after all a Mikcloud! Mikcloud's are the most powerful magical family... mhmm here is your new quest. Have Ichiro get close to her, find her weakness" Ichijo nodded "of course my lord" he got up and left the room.
Rido sighs deeply "damn that witch girl ruining my plans..."
Hours later, Jess had finished helping her aunt in the kitchen. Walking through the manor she stopped at the two large double doors. Opening it she stepped inside, it was the large magical archive library. Closing the door, she took a breath and nodded and started to go through spell books.
Half hour, the doors opened halfway and Jetter looked in seeing his niece looking through spell books "What is she doing...?" he whispered, "Who knows... do you think her and Kaname are working together in stopping Rido?" Violet whispered to him also watching Jess. Jetter sighed mentally "Most likely..." He whispered and opened the door fully walking in "Jessica" this made her jump almost dropping a book in her hand. She turned fast "Uncle... what do you want?"
Jetter frowned "What you up to in here?" Violet sighed "Love don't question her" Jetter pouted at his wife. Jess sighed "It's none of your business" she said turning away. Jetter narrowed at her "what did you say to me?" then he yelped when Violet grabbed his ear "don't be difficult!" Violet snapped at Jetter. Jetter hissed in pain "Ow! Violet let go!" "No you idiot! Talking like that to our lovely niece"
Jess couldn't help to chuckle with a smile "to answer your question" they both stopped and looked at her has she closed the book "I'm helping Kaname, there happy know?" Jetter sighed "very well..." he pointed on the 2nd part of the library "up there is a certain book, go through it and see what you will find" he said walking out of the room. Violet sighed "Shell I help you dear?" Jess blinked at her and nodded "Sure aunty"
More hours went by, Jess and her aunt where still look through books "Damn it why couldn't he just tell me what book it was instead of making me look for it" Jess groaned with annoyance 'we've been at this for hours and no luck! What the hell uncle!' Violet sighed softly "That's just how he is, sadly..."
Jess groaned putting a book down and grabbing another one that old and the cover was purplish. Opening she started to go through it. with in 10 minutes she stopped and her eyes widen "aunty... I think this is the spell..." Violet blinked and stepped over to her and looked down at the page and smirked "well, well know this is prefect" Jess smiled 'Kaname I found it, the spell that will help you defeat Rido once and for all!'
At Aido's Mansion, Kaname had left to have a private meet has he told his fellow classmates. Rukia frowned watching the car drive off "Where is he going again...?" "he said he has a dinner meeting with an old friend" Akatsuki says to her.
Not long the car stopped in town. Where there was no one around. The driver got out rushed to right side and opened the door "We are here Lord Kaname" Kaname got out and bowed softly "Thank you, I will call you to pick me up later" the driver bowed has Kaname walked off to an area where there was stairs leading down. If not for Vampire eyes he would not see in glowing red on a black blank sign 'Black Void Bar' down these stairs was a vampire Bar and restaurant where only vampires go and sometimes humans who knew of the vampire race.
Reaching a luxury red Iron door he stepped in, the bar had soaring gallery walls, cozy booths and a see-and-be-seen scene. an atmosphere that effortlessly blends historical charm with sophistication. The theme was slight Victorian mixed with goth like.
Walking over to the host desk, the male host smiled "Lord Kaname it's a honor" he bowed. Kaname smiled "Thank you, I'm here to meet up with a friend" the male host blinked and nodded "Of course... he told me you where coming... Follow me, he requests a private curtain booth" Kaname nodded and followed the host. Vampires around eyes widen to see him walk through the bar and some stood bowing in respect.
Reaching the private booths, the host bowed "Here you are Lord Kaname" Kaname nodded and stepped over, looking in the booth, the curtains where tied open and there in the corner sat Jareth Kyran. Jareth smiled "Kaname please join me" Kaname bowed and slid in. "Please close the curtain" the host bowed "Anything to drink Lord Kaname?" Kaname opened his mouth but Jareth spoke "Blood Moon Wine" the host bowed and closed the curtain. On the wall Jareth reached click on the small lamp on the wall that dimmed the area. Kaname can fully seeing Jareth's features. He was highly attractive man, porcelain skin, black hair and stunning neon yellow eyes.
Jareth smiled at Kaname "Thank you for coming to meet me Kaname" Kaname hummed softly "Well I guess I had no choose... I was after all warned of you" Jareth frowned "What lies has that fool Jetter been tell everyone? That I'm after my own daughter for some sick perverted shit?" Kaname's eyes widen at this "So.. your not after Jess?" Jareth grunted "Heavens no, unlike your family I will not mate with a family member just to keep the blood pure. I'm the last of my pureblood line... most of the members of my bloodline are gone even my... two sons before I meet Dawn..."
Kaname bites his lip looking down "please tell me the truth on between you and the Mikcloud family..." Jareth sighs softly but looked at the curtain as it opened slightly "my lords I have brought your wine and glasses" Jareth nodded "Leave it and leave" the host bowed placing it on the table and leaving.
Jareth reached over grabbing the wine and started to pour their glasses "well where to begin... It all began where I meet Dawn 19 years ago. I fell in live on first sight, Dawn was stunning for a witch and was entranced by her beauty" he says taking a sip.
"believe it our not Kaname, the Kuran family isn't the only royal bloodline of vampires. Your family ruled over Japan mostly. My family ruled over Scotland, the Meyers family was much larger... they ruled over Ireland most of England and America... I went to Zach's domain for a party that is where I meet Dawn and her fool of brother... we talked, got to know each other and before I knew it... we fell in love with each other... had love and she found out she was pregnant... With Jess"
Kaname's eyes widen "Wait so Dawn wasn't pregnant by someone else... where you bit her transferring vampire blood and power to Jess in the womb...?" Jareth sighed "Another lie... I really wanna rip his throat out..." he muttered "No of course not... Her brother found out and forbidden her to see me again... when she went into labor I felt it..."
Kaname understood that, when it comes to pureblood when their mate starts going into labor they could feel it. "I dashed off to be there for my daughter's birth but by the time I got there... I could not sense Dawn... but I could smell her blood... I followed it through the house... I was surprised that no one was around... following the smell of blood I found myself in basement where their own personal morgue was... there on the table was dawn looking pale... She looked dead but I sensed small life force from her... she was still alive but barely so I did the next thing I could think of..."
Kaname's eyes widen "You... turned her..." Jareth nodded "Yes... I turned her into a vampire... Jetter showed up and banished us from a spell from the grounds... we have been trying for years to see our daughter but she was sent away to America every year and I could not enter do to it was ruled by Zach... We found out she was at Cross Academy and here I'm asking you if we can see our daughter"
Kaname looked down at his wine and took a sip of it "Jetter has been lying to me... But for now, I will overlook since he will be bring back my parents..." Jareth's eyes widen "Haruka and Juri...?" Kaname nodded
"SO Kaname will we be able to see our daughter" he asked has the curtain opened making Kaname look, and his eyes widen in shock. Their stood a stunning woman with long red hair and vibrant green eyes, he swears he was looking at an older looking Jess. The woman smiled "Kaname Kuran it's lovely to meet you, I'm Dawn Mikcloud Kyran" Kaname breathed softly "Jess's... mother..." Dawn chuckled down at him. Jareth grinned "gorgeous, isn't she? Know you now where Jess gets her beauty from"
A day after Christmas, Jess had finally come back. With her disapproval she was brought back like the way she left. Heading to headmaster's dorm house, she sighed softly. The girls' dorms were close due to cleaning. There was black mold found in one of the rooms so the dorm building is being cleaned. Most of the girls were not back yet has school would not not start until three days after new year's.
Reaching headmasters house she knocked once and opened the door "hello yuki? Zero?" she heard running and see's Yuki smiling brightly "JESS! Your back!" She jumped at Jess hugging her. Jess chuckled "Aww you missed me, Yuki?" Yuki let her go and chuckled "Yeah! Zero did also" Zero leaning on the wall "Yuki don't tell lies" Yuki pouted at him "Oh you're the one who is lying you idiot!"
Zero flushed at her and narrowed. Jess chuckled "aww missed you too Zero" Zero's eyes widen with a blush but masked it right away "yeah, yeah" he walked off. Yuki pouted "What a butthole..!" Jess chuckled walking in "so room?" Yuki gasped "Oh yeah!"
Didn't take long for Yuki to show Jess her room then running off to somewhere. Jess settled herself in and sensed someone looking in her room, she turned to see Aido standing there. Jess frowned "What are you doing here?" Aido huffed and crossed his arms "I ran away so I've been staying here" Jess blinked at him "you ran away...? Oh I see" Aido then jumped slightly to feel a rub on his leg, he looked down to see Sabrina. She looked at him and meowed "Sabrina come here" Sabrina trotted over to Jess.
"Is there something you want Hanabusa?" Jess asked softly Aido frowned "Do... Do you know what Lord Kaname is planning...?" Jess raised her eyebrow but chuckled making him frown at her "are you laughing at me?" Jess chuckled softly know "No... you must know if he is and does not tell you then I think you know why? He wants it to be a secret for the time being Hanabusa, you should respect his word"
Aido bites his lip "just what are you to lord Kaname...?" Jess narrowed at him "What I'm I?" Aido growled "Yes..! what are you to him?!" he shouted. "hey" Aido turned sharply "WHAT?"! then he froze to see Zero narrowing down at him "Do I have to tie you up and leave you in a room?" Aido shook but huffed stomping away "fine whatever!"
Zero sighed and turned to Jess "You alright" Jess smiled walked over "Thanks Zero" Zero flushed and looked away "y-you're welcome" then her stomach growled, Zero turned to her "you hungry?" Jess flushed but nodded "Yeah.. long trip you know" Zero smiled softly at her "Come on, I'll fix you something to eat" Jess chuckled "Ooo your homemade cooking?! Yuki says it's good" Zero flushed and walked away. She followed him through the house to the kitchen.
Reaching the kitchen, Jess sat down in the dinning room waiting for Zero to wipe up something to eat.. Aido stepped in "Mhmm Zero making something to eat?" Jess nodded Aido chuckled and sat down next to Jess. Jess looked at him and smiled . Aido blushed and looked away.
Yuki walked in "Oh Aido you hungry also?" Aido nodded. Yuki and Aido began to talk. Jess however zoned it out looking out the window. She was missing Kaname 'I wonder where he is going to come back?' her thoughts where interrupted when hearing Yuki and Aido argue slightly. "But Kaname doesn't give me special treatment at all..." Yuki says to Aido. Aido narrowed at her "If you really meant that right know I would have killed you" Yuki's eyes widen at him. Jess bites her lip and with a quick movement he grabbed the back of his head and slammed his head to the table hard. Yuki gasped loudly "J-Jess!"
Aido growled in pain "HEY!" Jess narrowed down at him "do not threaten Yuki in my presence Hanabusa and I mean it" Aido frowned. Jess let go of his head "Yuki, go check on Zero" Yuki nodded and rushed out the door. Hanabusa growled "What the hell witch..." Jess raised her eyebrow at him "Why must vampires always be so hostile towards others?" Hanabusa frowns and looks down at his hands. Jess shook her head looking out the window 'Kaname...'
In town at a Hotel, in the top room. Sitting at the window was Jareth. He was looking out at the town. He was grateful that Kaname is allowing him to see his daughter. "Jareth" she walked over and put pill container down. Jareth blinked at it, he reached for it. grabbing it opened it taking out a red gel tablet, then looked at the bottle ""Brú Fola, W-MXX- 0- V2, BGC V2?" Dawn nodded "My brother created them by using Violet's blood with a boost of magic... I did a test on it and found out that vampires taking this... have a super low change of turning humans into vampires" Jareth's eyes widen then grinned widely "My... My... sneaky aren't you Jetter? No one will be able to find out unless they had magic from the Mikcloud family?" Dawn nodded "Yup" Jareth laugh again "My, your fool of brother might have done something good for humanity how kind of him" Dawn sighed and sat on his lap cuddling into him. Jareth chuckled at her.
The next day, Jess spend her day relaxing for the most part. Zero and Yuki where patrolling somewhere. Jess was walking around the grounds in of course her school uniform. She was on patrol around the night dorm, there was still some fan girls around. Sighing softly she leaned against the wall listening. Kaname was back but was busy today. Hearing a twig snap she turned her head to see Takuma he quickly bowed "Lady Jess, Lord Kaname asked me to bring you to his study" Jess blinked and flushed "Oh I see, alright lead the way" he nodded with a smile and guided Jess to the entrance of the moon dorm.
Most vampires where back from their winter break, even though school wont start until the next week. Walking in the moon dorm with Takuma she saw Rukia and Akatsuki. Rukia was narrowing at her, Akatsuki was just staring at her. "This way Lady Jess" Takuma sighs to her. Jess nodded and followed him up the stairs and down the hall where they stopped at a room "before you go in, a far warning... There is someone with him... please don't be afraid" Jess blinked at him 'someone else is with him...?' the door opened "Lord Kaname... I have brought Lady Jess" "let her come in" they heard Kaname's voice, Takuma stepped to the side for Jess. Jess took a deep breath and let it out. She stepped in the room. Takuma closed the door behind her. Jess frowned but stepped more into the room.
There was Kaname standing next to his desk, on one of the chairs was a man that was cloaked in black cloak. This made Jess confused "Kaname...?" Kaname turned to her and gave her a soft smile "Jess" Takuma blinked at that smile 'again... a real smile...' Jess was frowning "Kaname... what's going on?" Kaname stepped over to Jess "Jess listen, what your uncle has been saying about someone is false. He came to me and told me the true story" Jess looked confused and looked at the man that was sitting stand up and turned to them. "My you have grown into a beautiful young girl, you look so much like your mother" Jess's eyes widen had the man removed the hood of the cloak. Jess's body went stiff then jumped back only for Kaname to grab her "jess clam down" Jess bites her lip gripping her first "What the hell is going on?!" she snapped has the room shook. Takuma's eyes widen 'the power of a witch...' Kaname's hand pulled back getting an electric shock. Kaname's eyes widen at her 'not good...' Jareth frowned at her "Jess calm down.."
Jess's green eyes glowed "Tell me a good reason why I should clam DOWN!" she shouted has a wave of her magic hit them like a shock wave making the windows shattered. Kaname and Takuma were flung back into the wall. Jareth however stood his ground, him sighing "Just like your mother so powerful" he chuckled "you need to calm down and listen, your uncle has been lying to you about what happen to your mother and me" Jess narrowed "Why should I believe you?! You killed her!" she lifted her hand, Jareth's eyes widen has he was suddenly on his knee gasping for air.
Takuma gasped at this, Kaname frowned "Jess please calm down" Jess did not listen "I should kill you for what you did to my family!" Jess was about to curl her fingers when a hand grabbed her hand making Jess's eyes widen and turned her head. there next to her a woman she had only seen in photos "Jess, please stop" Jess's magic completely stopped making Jareth able to breath. He coughed slightly "wow..." he stood up "Thanks love" Dawn narrowed at him "This is why I should have talked to her first idiot!" Jareth pouted at her.
Tears where coming from Jess's eyes "M-Mom...?" Dawn turned to her and smiled "Yes sweetie its me" "B-but... uncle said..." Jess didn't finish when Dawn held her face "I know, he lied to you" then she turned to Kaname "Lord Kaname do you mind if you let us speak with Jess alone?" Kaname nodded then grabbing Takuma pulling him out the room leaving Jess and her parents to talk.
Kaname stood there in the hallway, Takuma looked at the door then to Kaname "Lord Kaname... She is quite powerful..." Kaname looked at his arm still feeling a slight electric stack from that shock he got "Very... Takuma... you are my friend so I will tell you this before everyone else... I have feelings for her" Takuma's eyes widen at him "you... like her...?" Kaname nodded "I have for a while know I think... sense she first came here..."
Takuma was stunned by this "I always thought... Yuki was the one...?" Kaname sighs softly running his fingers through his hair "I always thought that also but.. it all changed when Jess came here... The table have turned" Hanabusa who had heard everything not far away frowned, he stepped over to them "Lord Kaname..." Kaname turned to him and frowned "Aido, were you spying?" Hanabusa shook his head "Kaname... Please... tell us what's been happening..."
In Kaname's study, Dawn was holding a tearing Jess "Shhh sweetie it's okay" Jess sniffed "how can uncle lie... Telling me you where dead...!" Jareth frowned "It's because of our love" Jess sniffed and looked at him "What do you mean...?" Dawn and Jareth looked at each other and smiled at each other. Dawn guided Jess over to the chair "We have much to talk about"
Hours later, Kaname stepped to the door and knocked on it and entered "So how did it go?" he asked them. Dawn smiled "Good" Jess nodded with a smile "yeah" Jareth chuckled "So Kaname, can we stay here for the night?" Kaname nodded "Of course, there is a vacant room here, Takuma do you mind showing them?" Takuma nodded "This way Lord Jareth and Lady Dawn" Dawn giving Jess one more hug "see you tomorrow hunny" Jess smiled and hugged her mother back "Of course mom" Jareth chuckled and gave Jess a small hug and kiss on the temple "good night dear" he says to her then followed Takuma with Dawn closing the door, leaving Jess and Kaname alone.
Jess looked at Kaname who looked at her, the tension rose slightly. He was the first to move has he pulled her into a hug wrapping his arms around her. Her eyes widen but then closed baring her face into Kaname's chest. She held onto his shirt "Kaname..." she softly whispers. He smiles holding her "Jess..." what felt like forever but only couple of minutes they both pulled back slightly and looked at each other.
his hand cupped her cheek gently "How was your winter break...?" Jess flushed and smiled "It was okay... I found a spell... that will help" Kaname looked surprised "Oh?" Jess nodded "Yeah... uhm how was yours?" Kaname leans down "It was okay, but I did miss you most of it" Jess's face turned red slightly "Y-You missed me...?" Kaname nodded "did you miss me?" he did a questionable look making her flush even more "Y-Yes..." Kaname smiled down at her leaning more where their lips where close of touching "I see" then their lips touched in a gently kiss. Her arms went up and wrapped around his neck, she hummed slightly into the kiss making Kaname smirk slightly and deepen the kiss. His tongue went across Jess's lips asking for permission and Jess let him. She opened her mouth letting Kaname's tongue explore. Their tongues swirled together, this caused Jess to moan softly.
The tension in the room became more sexual, she was suddenly on the bed with him hovering over her. She blushed looking up at him "Kaname..." His eyes had turned red and he was panting, his fangs where out. He head leaned his head down and licked her neck making her shiver slightly, it have tickled and have didn't. she could feel his fangs slightly but never pierced her skin "K-Kaname..." her right hand moved up and combed through his hair "you wanna bite me don't you...?" Kaname froze slightly 'Do I...? I haven't had human blood for so long...'
Leaning up looking into her eyes "You know what you're asking me...?" Jess blushed and nodded "I know... when a vampire bites someone with..." Kaname finished for her "sexual feelings... its being marked has a mate..." Jess cupped his face "Kaname... I know you haven't had pure human blood for over ten centuries, thoughs blood gel capsules are made from human blood you know..." Kaname knew this all to well, after taking the capsules he knew that. He leaned back down opening his mouth read to bite her lip, she moved her head to right side giving him permission 'what I'm I doing...? I haven't let anyone bite me since Rick and Chida...'
A knock on the door made Kaname stop in his tracks, he growled from being interrupted from marking Jess. He got up quickly and was by the door, he opened it to reveal Yuki. He blinked "Yuki... why are you here? You alright?" Jess frowned, luckily Yuki can't see her from the side of bedroom she was at.
Yuki blushed "Headmaster would like to see you" Kaname smiled softly at her and patted her head "I see thank you Yuki" Yuki smiled "I will wait for you" "Yeah hurry up Kuran!" it was Zero from the hall. Jess in the room frowned but looked at the window on her side and quickly went to it, using her magic it opened. She quickly jumped out of the window.
Kaname sighs softly "of course, give me a moment Yuki" Yuki nodded. He closed the door softly and looked around. Jess was already gone. Jess had jumped from the window leaving. Kaname frowned deeply but masked it and left the room to see a cheerful Yuki and annoyed Zero "alright let's go" Takuma appeared "Oh Lord Kaname, you heading out?" Kaname nodded "headmaster wants to see me" Takuma nodded "Did Lady Jess already leave?"
Yuki's eyes widen slightly "Jess was here...?" Zero bites his lip frowning "she was here...?" Takuma realized what he just did, he froze seeing Kaname's dark glare at him, but it quickly went away. Kaname turned to Yuki and Zero and nodded "Yes she was just to deliver a message form her uncle" Yuki blinked and chuckled "I see well let's go!"
Kaname chuckled and followed Yuki walking past Zero who was narrowing at him then at Takuma who frowned at him. Zero narrowed once more and followed Yuki and Kaname.
Jess was sitting on the tall gate wall. Sighing softly, she was sort of disappointed that he didn't get to bite her but not almost lucky it didn't happen... she would feel like she would have betrayed Rick more then anything...
"you alright dear?" Jess blinked and looked up to see her father standing next to her. Jess frowned and looked away "I almost let Kaname bite me..." Jareth's eyes widen "really know?" he said down next to her "you realize what that means?" Jess nodded looked down "I'm not stupid dad.. I know.. I had a vampire lover before.." Jareth chuckled softly "Yes I know.. Rick Meyers, twin brother of Chida Meyers and son of King Zachariah Meyers"
Jess frown "So you know everything about how he dead then...?" Jareth nodded "Yeah... I know" he gently too her hand "can I see?" Jess blinked at him "See...?" then her eyes widen "Wait you mean bite me and see my memories...?" Jareth nodded "I would like see how you grew up... your mother would too, it's just a bite, won't be marking you" Jess frowned sort of but sighed "Okay..." Jareth smiled at her "Tomorrow, me and your mother can both see together" Jess smiled at him "alright"
At the headmaster office, Kaname had opened the door. To see Cross and Jetter there. He frowned then narrowed at Jetter. He stepped in closing the door behind him "what are you doing here?" Jetter frowned at him "I thought you would know why I'm here... Jess was doing spell searching for you"
Kaname stepped in more "I know and for the record I know the truth behind jess's past with her parents" Jetter's eyes widen at him 'he knows?! Don't tell me Jareth and Dawn already showed up!' Cross frowned "Jetter what is he talking about?" Jetter bites his lip and was about to answer when the door opened making them look, Jetter's eyes widen and backed up with a gasp "D-Dawn...!?" Cross gasped at her 'wow no wonder where Jess gets her beauty!'
Dawn smiled stepping in "Well hello brother, I knew you where here by the stench from a mile of away" Jetter gulped stepping back "W-Why are you here...?!" Dawn growled "What do you think?! You god damn idiot! You kept me and Jareth long enough from our daughter and the fact that you lied to her most of her life!"
Cross frowned more "Jetter what is going on?!" Kaname sat down "Yes please do tell the reason why Dawn is still alive" Jetter gulp and looked down "does Jess know then?" Dawn crossed her arms "Of course she does, we already talked to her today. We where one step ahead of you this time" Jetter groaned and leaned against the desk "Fine I'll tell the truth"
Outside it was getting past 1am, Jess had finished her rounds near the stables. Walking past it she heard soft humming, she blinked and stepped over to the doorway peeking in to see Zero brushing a white horse. Jess smiled stepping in "Zero?" Zero jumped slightly but turned to see Jess walking over "Jess"
White Lily looked at her, Zero was slightly nervous if Lily snapped at her but was shocked to see Lily didn't snap at Jess when Jess reached out and petted Lily's nose "Such a beautiful horse, white like the snow"
Zero looked at her more and then blush. Lily was letting Jess pet something Lily barely tell someone then Zero touch her. "Jess" Jess turned to him and smiled "so do you come here often?" Zero nodded "I like coming here" Jess chuckled to Zero it was cute. "There's a stable at the Mikcloud estate, my uncle has price winning Friesian horses" Zero looked surprised "Friesian's? they are beautiful black horses" Jess nodded "yeah" she says petting Lily.
Zero looked at her more, his heart was pounding. He had sudden urge to grab her and kiss her. He gulped mentally shaking his head 'no! you like Yuki!' "Zero you alright?" Zero blinked and looked at Jess who was staring up at him with a confused look "Zero you alright? your face is red" she asked lifting her hand to his forehead His eyes widen and his face turned more red "Mhmm you do seem warm" she says softly "have you been taking the capsules?"
Zero gulped lifting his hand 'shit my body is moving on its own...' Cupping her cheek making her flush "Zero what are you" she did not finish when his lips where on hers. Her eyes widen at this 'is he... kissing me...?!' She started to push him away but something in him made him back her up into the wall holding there deeping the kiss.
Closing her eyes tight 'what's happening?! Is it his vampire side taking over?!' she manages to push him off slightly "Zero stop!" Zero's eyes widen and back up "Jess... I'm sorry..." 'what have I done...?' "I'm so sorry..." he looked down feeling ashamed.
Jess frowned taking his hand "Zero... do... you like me?" Zero's eyes widen looking up at her 'do I like her...?' biting his hip looking down with a flush, he nodded softly. Jess flushed 'Zero likes me...' "Zero..." Zero sniffed slightly "I don't know why... I like Yuki but I also like you..." Jess blinked at him 'just like with Kaname...'
Jess reached out taking his hand "Zero... its apart of being a teenager... its only natural to like someone else" Zero looked at her 'I forced a kiss on her and she still trying comfort me... is it because I was jealous of Kuran first kissing her...?' Frowning "is there... something going on between you Kuran...?"
Jess looked surprised by this question and then flushed "why do you ask...?" Zero frowned more at her "I saw you two kissed a day before winter break" Jess's eyes widen and backed up "Oh I see..." Zero stepped to me "tell me was it... the first time...?" Jess looked away this right away told him it wasn't. Biting his lip "So are you two... dating...?" Jess's eyes widen and looked up at him "No..! were just..." 'what are we...? Friends with benefits or something...?' Zero growled "friends with benefits?"
Jess's eyes turned to him "I... don't know..." "tell me this.. you where in his room tonight weren't you?" he asked her. Jess back up from him "H-How did you know?" Zero narrowed at her "I smelled your scent, its not hard to miss your Lavender Honey smell" then his eyes widen and his face turned red "Only after Takuma asked about you to Kaname if you had left yet!" he snapped.
Jess gasped "You know me by smell...?" Zero grips his fist with his face still red "well not hard when you use the same body wash!" he was getting frustrated with this. Jess chuckled "how cute you know my smell" Zero groaned "back to the matter of hand here! What were you two doing tonight?"
Jess's eyes widen and this was her time to get angry "None of your business!" this got Zero upset "It is! You two where making out weren't you!" Jess frowned "Why are you getting upset about this?!" Zero groaned "Because I LIKE YOU!" he shouted.
Jess looked at him with a dumfounded look 'even thought I already knew but hearing him say it out loud still makes me flustered' Jess looked down "Zero... what you do if I said Kaname was gonna mark me has his lover...?" Zero's eyes widen with pure shock and then anger, he marched out of the stables.
Jess frowned and followed him "Zero please don't do anything to Kaname!" Zero kept on walking until he stopped in front an old tree, this was in the middle of the woods far from the dorms and school. Jess frowned "Zero.. what are you doing...?" Zero lifted his hand making a fist, his fist went fast with his vampire speed and strength, when his fist hit that tree he punch a whole through the side.
Jess's eyes widen "this most have been from taking the blood capsules... Zero..." Zero turned to her "don't..." Jess blinked at him "Don't...?" Zero stepped to her "Don't let him bite you... don't..." Jess frowned at him "W-Why?" then she gasped has Zero held her cheeks "Because... I... want... to be the one..." Jess's eyes widen at him "what...?" Zero leaned down kissing Jess passionately.
Her eyes closed from being kissed for some reason her body moved on its own and she was kissing him back. Zero deepen the kiss making her gasp slightly this gave him the chance to shove his tongue in her mouth. This shocked Jess even more, their tongues swirled around. Zero was getting aroused by this, then hearing something like a soft cat bell and running footsteps following with a sound of a puff. At the corner of his eyes he see's something coming towards him.
A foot connected to his face sending him flying to the side. Jess gasped "Sabrina!" Zero hit the ground hard, he groaned leaning on his elbow "Ow.. what the fuck hit me!" he turned to Jess but his eyes widen to see a girl with long black hair, back cat ears and black tail cat tail that was wagging in anger. She was wearing a turtleneck dress and cat thigh socks and black flats. Her purple cat eyes narrowed at Zero "How dare you! How dare you touch my mistress!" she shouted puffing with anger.
Zero's eyes widen "Wait this is... is your cat...?" Jess sighs softly and nodded "Zero this is Sabrina's human form" Sabrina was growling, and cat hissed at Zero showing her cat like fangs.
