Well, this is another chapter. I have been updating regularly now but please don't expect it every day, I may not be able to continue like this.

Elijah looked at his brother from his spot as Niklaus stared down at the city that was once there's. He knew Niklaus could sense his presence, it was now only a matter of will on who would address the other one first,

" Evening Elijah," Klaus said, as he looked down at his city which now his own adoptive son had claimed.

" Niklaus," Elijah said in greeting.

" What an entirely unwelcome surprise."

" And what an entirely unsurprising welcome. Come with me."

" I am not going anywhere till I find out who's conspiring against me."

" I believe I just found that out for you," Elijah said, and there were no more words needed as Klaus followed his elder brother intending on getting his hands a little dirty.

Elena leaned against the wall as she waited for this nightmare to be finally over, Elijah has brought Klaus over here to reveal the God-forsaken truth. Truthfully she had now just had enough, she longed to be back in Mystic Falls in the comfort of her home. She felt emotionally and mentally drained, after so long, she was no longer the gorgeous cheerleader and the golden girl of Mystic Falls who all parents told their daughter to be like, in only a year her whole life had changed from her parent's death to learning about the supernatural and finding out about her being a mysterious doppelganger, being adopted, and hunted down, then sleeping with the villain of her story, losing her whole family and officially being an orphan, to getting kidnapped by physco witches and being literally tortured for a month as they made her bleed and cause pain to her all the while giving her limited food and who can forget finding out that she was pregnant. She longed to be back in Stefan's arm as he would console her and tell her that everything would be okay. Suffice to say that she would not ask this life for anyone else. She just hoped that Klaus would not want the baby and Elijah will strike some kind of deal with them and they let her go, then maybe she could try with a single mom thing or something, she had no shortage of funds, after all, Isobell and Alaric had left her with plenty and so had her adoptive parents and John. Even her birth-dead father was also pretty rich and she was the sole heir so, money won't be a problem if only she could get out of this place.

" No, it's Impossible." Klaus's voice said It should be, Elena thought as she sighed again, folded her arms, and closed her eyes, she had a very bad headache and was feeling quite dizzy.

" I said the same thing myself," Elijah said

" This is a lie. You are all lying. " Klaus said, pointing his finger to all of them " Vampires cannot procreate."

" But werewolves can." Sophie said," Magic made you a Vampire. But you were born a werewolf. You are the original hybrid, the first of your kind, and Elena, Elena is the Petrova doppelganger, who is also a werewolf, one of the crescents, and this pregnant is one of nature's loopholes."

" You have been with someone else, admit it," Klaus said, his voice furious as he advanced towards the pregnant girl.

Elena didn't even open her eyes and simply said," No I haven't. "

" YOU LIE."
" Okay listen here, you are a vampire right, and had I been lying wouldn't you have understood it by simply, I don't know hearing my heartbeat. " Elena said, finally opening her eyes," I have been trapped here for almost a month, literally tortured by these witches who have totally and completely lost it, because they think that I am carrying your child and why on earth would I want to lie about being connected to my aunt's killer unless it was the truth."

" My sister gave her life for showing this girl to you, we have confirmed the pregnancy and the father over and over again. Because of Jane- Annes sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us." Sophie said, sounding a little smug which Klaus didn't seem to appreciate.," We can keep them safe, or we can kill them."

" Yup I am out of here," said Elena, as she turned around, only to be blocked by two witches, no one but the two originals noticed her griping a rod tightly.

" If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me Elena won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." Sophie continued,

" Enough of this, If you want Marcel dead, he is dead. I will do it myself." Elijah said.

" No," Sophie interjected immediately, before she could continue further Klaus interrupted,

" What is it that you want?" He said, his voice very dangerous.

" There is a clear plan we need to follow and there are rules." she said, Elijah now looked concerned and Elena raised one of her eyebrows and said," Oh boy"

Klaus turned around," How dare you command me," he said in a dangerously low voice looking furious," threaten me with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses. This is a pathetic deception, I won't hear any more lies." and with that, he turned to leave.

" Niklaus," Elijah said, making his brother stop on his spot," Listen" And Klaus stopped suddenly to focus on the sound coming from Elena's stomach, and with that, he heard weak heartbeats. Emotions flashed on his face before he said," Kill her and the baby. What do I care?" before leaving.

After his declaration, two things happened at once, Elena turned around taking with herself the rod and hitting the two witches in front of her with it, before running out. Sophie screamed," NO" as she tried to find something to injure herself with it, Elijah said," Elena" with resignation and moved to stop Sophie from injuring herself.

" Don't harm yourself," he said in warning," I will fix this ."

" However if you did, I will find a witch to unlink Elena from you and then kill you myself," he said. Sophie nodded as Elijah walked away.

Outside Elena ran in the other direction from which she had previously escaped and this time instead of going to any public place she screamed," Taxi"

A car stopped in front of her as she knocked at the window a man opened it and looked at her questioningly,

" I have some luggage, can you come out and take it."

" Of course." the man said as he came out leaving the car keys inside the car, he opened his mouth to say where but was unable to do so as Elena banged his head on the car door and kicked him.

" I am so sorry," she exclaimed, as she moved past him and got in the car intending to drive back to Mystic Falls and ask Bonnie to unlink her with this bitch. She did not see Klaus looking at her as she left.

" Marcel and his vampires are out of control, something had to be done," Sophie said

" And the solution is to bring in more vampires?" Agnes questioned.

"These aren't just any vampires Agnes. They are the originals."

" What makes you think we can control the hybrid, even the girl escaped."

" You can't," Elijah said," I am not entirely certain that I can either. But you will give me time to and in the duration, you may not hurt yourself."

" You have until midnight," Sophie said

" You are placing a time limit for me."

"As I said, I have nothing to lose."

Klaus sighed as he made his way to Mystic Falls from New Orleans after giving his now daggered brother Elijah to Marcellus whose betrayal still was fresh in his mind filling him with blind rage, he had every intention of dragging the mother of his child back from where ever she was to New Orleans. He had never really thought about being a father after he had turned knowing it was impossible, the closest he had ever come to being one was when he had adopted Marcellus. The thought of now having a baby filled him with a mix of emotions that he was not yet able to distinguish. He had briefly debated with himself about letting Elena spend the remainder of her pregnancy at Mystic Falls but had immediately torn down the idea the Salvatores could not be trusted to keep her and his child safe and he would be damned if he allowed his blood to call someone else father. From when he had last looked at her she looked to be in some dire need of food so she must have stopped nearby for food and water, it was after all a long drive from New Orleans to Mystic Falls, nothing that his own car would not be able to catch up with its speed especially if it was being compared to that of a local taxi.

He stopped the car suddenly when he saw the same taxi in which Elena had driven off before parking in front of a hospital. Why has she stopped in a hospital of all places, she wouldn't have done so unless it was an emergency. What had the witches done to his child, had they done something they would suffer till the end of time. He parked his car and quickly got out and hurried to the reception his mind coming up with a number of possibilities. On reaching the reception, he compelled the receptionist to give him information about Elena's whereabouts, and as he feared she was in the maternity section. On reaching there, he heard voices,

" How long have you been pregnant."

" About a month doctor, give a few days more. " Elena's voice replied, as he hurried in the direction of the voices.

" And had these headaches been regular."

" Most of the time."

" And yet you didn't seek professional help before."

" No, not really, I just had some home remedies."

" Well, Ms. Sommers you obviously have not been taking care of yourself at all during your first month."

" I had exams I was more focused on passing them than on the pregnancy, I actually pretended that I wasn't pregnant at all."

" Any morning sickness."

" Only for a week."

" What exactly did you have for food?"

" Very little, I was on a diet."
" A diet when you were pregnant."

" Yes"

" And have you have fever often,"

" Very often."

" hmmm"

"Could you please give me something for the headache I have a long journey ahead, I am not able to focus while driving at all."

" Ms. Sommers you must understand that some pregnancies are different than others, the first few months must be treated with extreme care, your pregnancy will be very difficult just because of the fact that you have taken no care during the month. Even your blood count is lower."

" I bled a lot during the month I am a bit clumsy you see ."

" Elena I don't even know what to say anymore. You have to take strict rest, no dieting, and be much more careful or your babies won't survive."

" Babies."

" Why yes, you are having twins. Tell me Elena have you had something to eat today?"

"... Just water." The doctor didn't seem surprised by that,

" And yesterday."

" Some bread, fruit, and water."

" Are you trying to kill yourself?"

" I was busy. Please doctor, could you please give me something for the headache it's killing me." and here Elena's voice broke.

" I have injected you some time before, I believe that the medicines will begin to take effect soon. It will help with all the symptoms."

" Thank you, can you just give me some medicines to survive tonight, I will be back at home in the morning, I will do the rest of my treatment there only."

" That won't be a necessary doctor," Klaus said as he strode into the clinic as Elena and a middle-aged man who he assumed to be the doctor, whirled their heads at the door.

" I beg your pardon." the doctor said at the same time Elena exclaimed her voice full of surprise," Klaus"

He simply ignored them both as he made his way to where the man was sitting and compelled him, to give Elena a month worth of medicines needed for her condition, and write the instructions on the prescription as he simply ignored Elena's protest.

" What the hell, Klaus. What are you even doing here?" she asked, as she used the wall to support herself.

" Why love I am simply taking the mother of my children back to the place I live?"

" Ya well, you are in for a big surprise if you think that just because I am pregnant with your children, I will do as you say, I am not going to New Orleans, I will go back to Mystic Falls."

"It's funny that you think you have a choice."

" That's it I am leaving." Before Elena could turn around, Klaus grabbed her arm and said with a smirk,

" From what I understand the witches had not been very hospitable to you, I don't imagine them being courteous enough to give you some vervain."

Elena's eyes widened before she instantly closed them and turned her face away, Klaus let her go as the Doctor came to get something with two nurses following them, " Now if you want to have free will, I would suggest you do as I say."
" Since when are you so concerned about being the baby daddy, the last I remember you literally asked those physco witches to kill me and the baby."

" That was before I paid heed to what my brother wanted to say."

" Where is Elijah?"

" Sleeping peacefully in a coffin."

" What?"

" Are you surprised?"

" No"

" Then I suggest you get in my car quickly you will know it when you see it. It is the most expensive one you will see. I will bring the medicines and some food." Elena did not look happy with it at all, but she knew it would be foolish to escape as he would simply catch her, and then compel her, she likes her free will, thank you very much.
