Next chapter will be the U.A. entrance exam... so look forward to that. I will be showing both the Hero exam and the Support exam but not in the same chapter...

Grunting as his fingers slid a bit on the bricks of the building he was vaulting up, Izuku managed to pull himself up fully and throw himself onto the roof. Rolling, he quickly made himself stand and continued his sprint, leaping from one building to another, ignoring the slight pain in his knees from the motion. After three months of adding parkour, five since he started changing his life, Izuku had gotten quite fast, strong and durable. He could handle the pain... hell if nothing else, his old life and the abuse from it had given him an insane pain tolerance as it was. It was one of the few gifts from his old self...

Overall he was proud of himself really, so much had changed in the last five months. He was an entirely different person, he had faked it til he made it and boy was he pleased with that. He walked with a real swagger, didn't hide his intelligence, rarely stuttered or cried, fought off three bullies easily to the point no one attacked him anymore though they still mocked him, and took the top student spot from even Bakugo... who only reacted by growling. That was his favorite accomplishment so far.

He was now a first degree brown belt in Judo of the second kyu, putting him in the expert course already. He was regularly participating in the weekly competitions their sensei had set up for experience and he had only lost three times and one of those was because he had hurt his shoulder from too many throws. He was taking a weekly class on kickboxing on saturdays, though that class was solely meant to be for fitness, which helped him greatly with his form.

He had managed to find some pipes at Daguba beach and started to practice, via youtube videos, how to fight with escrima sticks. He had ordered a set of those for when he actually took the test, but to practice the pipes were fine. He was working on making electric versions, using his newly found mechanical skills, turned our engineering wasn't that hard for him. He was good with his hands, always had been, and he was really smart and could think in three dimensions so he quickly found a passion for taking things apart and seeing what made them tic. Watching videos on the subject every sunday while breaking said things apart helped. In fact he enjoyed it so much he spent not only his sundays doing that, but often spent random hours throughout the week reading and watching videos on engineering. It had gotten to the point he realized he would be happy in support if that is what it came down too.

After cutting himself on some metal at the beach after his first month of parkour had finished, he finally started to learn first aide. The gym had offered lessons, sponsered by the Red Cross oddly enough, so he picked up CPR and Basic First aid. More videos helped him with a bit more advanced things, like head to toe assesments and so on, but he kept from doing too much advanced thing in this direction as he didn't want to kill anyone.

The more he learned, the more he wanted to learn. He realized he had held himself back drastically by just obsessiing over heroes, there was so much more out there and he was hungry for it all. He still loved heroes though, he spent at least a half hour each day and at least three hours on thursdays evaluating and going over videos to increase his knowledge and strategy. He had filled out six more journals on the subject, only with more details and including stuff on villians. It was extremely fun...

However with all good came some bad... he was no longer that close with his mom. He loved her, no mistake, but a distance had grown between them. He knew she was startled by his changed and couldn't make sense of them. He got that, but he didn't trust her to not freak out when he told her the cause and the deeper meanings behind his change, so he kept mum. He would tell her though, when he got into U.A., when she was less likely to stop him... when he proved to her he was more capable and less fragile then she seemed to think.

Then every seemed to think...

"Thanks for everything." Izuku smiled at the cashier, enjoying his blush. He knew he looked good, he rarely wore tight clothes trying to hide his full transformation from Bakugo in case he finally did snap and used his Quirk on him. He was rather built from five months of hardcore training, not massively buff but not bad either. "I'll definitely be back." Waving goodbye, he left the store and started to rummage through his bag.

He had bought quite a bit from the second hand shop, right after finally selling the last of his All Might stuff. He had made a pretty penny selling that crap and with it he was able to buy gloves for his exam, which was allowed for everyone even if most were unaware of it, along with some wrist and ankle weight for his parkour and some tools so he could really get into building. It had taken several trips but he had managed to get all that he needed. He had also bought a lock so his mom couldn't get into his stuff...

Humming happily, he all but skipped down the streets, ignoring everyone else as he made his way home. He had so much work to do, he was pretty sure he had figured out how to create his electric eskima sticks. It would take effort, elbow grease, time and supplies but he was sure he could manage it. The prototypes would be messy but that was the fun in inventing really, or so he assumed since this was his first... anything of that nature.

He was excited to get started.

The sound of buzzing made Izuku very, very happy. It meant success as he watched the electrical current zip between the two prongs. He had spent hours breaking apart tasers he could and bought, trying to figure out what made them tic, so he could make his own version of them for his sticks. The battery was the hard part, not putting too much energy into the devices or too little. He wasn't aiming to kill but knock out,.. and maybe maim? He would rather maim them kill, but he would do either if he had to. That was something he had come to terms with after seeing a few villian and hero deaths via video.

Sometimes death happened, it was unavoidable and that was that. It wasn't pretty but that was life... he didn't like it though and hoped he was never put into that sort of situation. He was sort of grateful that his strategy and tactic lessons had made thinking that a reality, he shuddered at what that would be like to learn in the field... what that had to be like...

But that didn't matter for the time being, he had to test out his newest toys! But on what?

'Nothing metal, that's for sure, I could kill myself, cause a fire or worse... I think there is some rubber around here, that doesn't conduct electricity but it would still melt and burn... maybe a tire? Yeah, that would be good I think. Lots of fun really.'

As it turned out, he severely underestimated the power of his escrima sticks and ended up not only popping the tire loudly, but melted it in several spots and ended up with some bubbling rubber on his pants...

"Well, shit... that was... that could kill someone... maybe make a dial system? So I can control the output... yeah, that would be good." Shivering at the tire, which was a melted hunk of rubber that stank so horribly it made his eyes water, Izuku walked away with what would have once been a rare sense of pride. He so had the U.A. test in the bag... he just had to keep it up and make his sticks usuable and not murdery... "Maybe I should get a cap on them, something that could still zap people but also make them look less like giant tazers, that should keep their real power hidden. Regardless, I should get a support student to help improve these when I get into U.A."

Pleased with himself, he made a point to write down all of his notes. He had so much to work on...

Like improving his skills with his sticks, working on his reaction time, improving his parkour skills ( those definitely were his worst skill so far, but that was far given he was learning entirely on his own there and usually after a hard workout), and working on mixing his kickboxing with his judo so it was more fluent...

The exam was in only five months and there was only so much time he could work on everything...

He could only hope it was not all for not...

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was beyond fun.
