CHAPTER 3: FUN IN THE GREAT VALLEY

The next day the rest of the gang were happily playing around at Thundering falls,or more specifically Cera, Petrie, Ducky, Spike, Ruby and Chomper were playing around while Littlefoot was messing around with the grassy field of grass near the pool of water. He couldn't stop thinking about his grandpa's story the previous night and was taken in by the idea of an entire herd of creatures living beneath their feet. While true his grandpa had insisted that it was just a myth and while also true that he and the entire Valley once had an encounter with a bunch of super tiny longnecks underground too,his curious little mind couldn't sway away from the tale.

"What's up with you?" called out a familiar voice as Littlefoot perked his head up and turned around to see Cera stepping out of the pool with the others following behind her, they were all soaking wet from head to paw due to all their splashing around previously.

"Hey Littlefoot, why don't you get in and splash around with us?" suggested Chomper with a wide and toothy grin followed by Ducky adding equally as energetic "The water is all nice and warm yep yep yep." before Spike bit down on some nearby leaves and nodded his head in agreement.

"Me wonder what you are doing over here." curiously questioned Petrie as he flew down and perched on Littlefoot's head only for the young longneck to shake him off and retort "Oh it's nothing guys. I was just thinking." to which Cera scoffed and guessed with a roll of her eyes "Oh don't tell me that you're thinking about that story from your Grandpa?"

"N-no." denied Littlefoot in a slightly shaky voice as he turned his head away in embarrassment before continuing a little more composed "Well I mean….it's kinda interesting. Imagine just finding an entire herd of dinosaurs that can fly and breath fire right below us." to which Cera smugly retorted with a sly grin "Well I can't go and imagine that because those Fire Breathers do NOT exist. They're more likely to be an imaginary friend you saw in a sleep story."

"Well that didn't stop you from saying you'd kick them back underground huh?" playfully reminded Ruby in response to which Cera stuck her horn up in retaliation resulting in light snickering from the others before Littlefoot continued "Look guys,I just think it's fun to think about the Fire Breathers even if they are just a myth. Didn't we think the Lone Dinosaur and Time Of Bad Luck were just myths?"

"Yeah but….uh...those were different!" snapped Cera in a desperate attempt to prove Littlefoot wrong about the existence of any Fire Breathers to which Chomper stepped in between the two and cheerfully tried to switch the topic "You guys, even if these Fire Breather things were real, they'd still be no match for us. We have all gone through some of the most wild adventures and I don't think that's ever gonna stop!"

The group was silent for a few quick moments before a smile formed on Cera's face as she couldn't help but agree "Yeah you're right Chomper,we've all gone through so much that a few flyers with hot breath are nothing," to which the others smiled and looked at each other before laughing and proceeding to playfully chase one another throughout the valley, all while passing by Grandpa and Grandma Longneck, Ducky and Spike's mother, Petrie's mother and siblings, Topps, Tria, Tricia, Mr Thicknose and Mr Clubtail.

*Montage starts.*

Littlefoot was quickly able to get the thoughts about the Fire Breathers out of his mind since he was having too much fun playing around with all his friends,in fact they may have been having a little too much fun since they all ended up crashing into each other and tumbled down a grassy hill. They all couldn't stop laughing once they brushed off their dizziness and their sides were aching by the time they stopped. There was always fun to be had in the Valley despite danger and new discoveries potentially lurking around any corner, but it was always worth it to them.
