This is my third chapter on Talking Tom & Friends.

Pairings: Tom/Hank (Slash)

Rated: K

Tom was driving along, talking to himself that it was becoming a possible habit until his phone rang; he looked at the ID while focused on the road. He gasped* It was Hanks. *he frowned, sighed, and answered* Can't we talk about this? He said, wanting to act like a worried wife that resulted in him tangling the phone word. "Hank, I need you there if Angela comes over and to keep her there after I leave Ben's house. "I will do that," Hank said. "Thanks, buddy," Tom said. "I knew I could count on our friendship; nothing can change that. The Beagle was about you say something. "Tom, wait...I want to say that I-he hung up and disconnected the call. "I love you," He depressingly said before sighing. "What's gotten into me? He asked himself as he sat down on the couch. "I can't be in love with my best friend; I would jeopardize his whole career and his reputation." He said, look how it would affect Tom's future with the expectation of them getting evicted from their studio apartment.

He started to cry once his legs were up on the couch. It only he had a fairydog mother

Angela was arguing with Ben that animals with different DNA cannot have a life together? "What about Hank and Becca? Ben asked, clarifying the obvious. That's different and basic biology; dogs chase rabbits and carts," She explained. "You got a point, but how about Xenon and me? He was now crossing his arms. "Simple, you're a dog, and she's a human-He stopped her; here we go again. "Yes, we are a long-distance apart, but we make it work through the use of the internet," He explained once more. "So, what's your point? She asked. Ben explained that they both love science. Angela only nodded her head while agreeing with him sarcastically. Ben was already getting nervous and sweaty that he almost told Tom and Hank as an example. He stopped himself and decided on another approach. "Well..let's see* he started thinking quickly* "we made it possible to construct a way to collide different DNA," He said. Angela just laughed and said it was impossible. "Ohh yeah *he pulled a tube that contained spit samples from himself and Xenon," He showed her.

"Ewww, what is that? She said in disgust. 'I'm glad you asked; I mixed my girlfriend and my DNA with her approval, of course," He wants to notify her that he didn't do it without her knowing first. "Gah, what're you planning to do? She asked without looking at it. "Nothing, but create an offspring," He said. Angela was suddenly impressed, but she's gonna need a demonstration to be safe. "Hmmm, how about you and Tom? He asked, but it is evident that she knew it would come up eventually, so she prepared. That's what I want to hear," She said in joy. Ben smiled. "Let's try something a bit different first.

"Angela always believed in saving the best for last and agreed. "Okay, what would you impose as a test subject? She asked. How about you, Hank, and *he hesitated but eventually came up with a way to pass off Tom* Tony," He said. "Tony never heard of him. "Oh..he just moved here last week, and I told him about the project we're working on and also wanted to see if it's stable. "How come I never met him? She crossed her arms, looking displeased. Ben stuttered nervously until his doorbell rang in the nick of time. Hold that thought" He hurried up and ran to the door and opened it to see Tom. "Hey-Ben forcibly covered his mouth with both hands while pushing him back outside and closed the door.

He released the struggling tabby once he knew they were safe. "What was all that for? He asked. Ben felt ashamed that he broke his promise to him, but he told him his short story. After minutes, Tom quickly picked up on it. "How can you tell my girlfriend about Hank and me? He said, yelling. "I didn't; I said Hank and a guy named Tony," He clarified. "Great, now I have to put on a persona," Tom said, finding it hard to believe. "I told you I wasn't good at keeping secrets, but maybe it won't be that bad," He said, calming him. "Perfect... looks like I have to reset my life," The tabby said. Been was disappointed in himself for his betrayal and apologized to him. Fortunately, Tom was forgiving and said he shouldn't have asked. "What am I going to tell Angela? Ben asked. "Stall her; I have an idea," He told him. "What am I supposed to say? He asked. Tell her that Tony has to pick something up at the store," He said as he will go on with this to keep his secret under wraps.

Been heard Angela's footsteps and speeded it up. "Okay, we'll meet when you return," Ben said before shutting the door as he watched as Tom departed, but not before he asked for a DNA sample which he happily agreed. "Was that Tony, he sounds an awful lot like my Thomas" She said, approaching him. "He's a very good impressionist" Ben lied through his teeth.

"Mmm," She looked at him suspiciously as she walked off. "I'm going over to the apartment to hang out with Hank," She said. After she was out of his view, he sighed "that was a close one," He said to himself and ran back to the previous room only to see Angela. "You know, it's great that I'm going to hang out with Hank; we haven't been social much" She explained. "all the more reason to go hang out" Ben agreed with her and hurried her out the door without her peeking at what he's containing. The door closed, but Angela shrugged it off, thinking Ben was wanting to surprise her, and walked off.

The baby-making machine that uses DNA, sounds like a good idea Ben created as if the possible couple hasn't had enough on their plate already. Sorry it took so long, but you know how life goes.
