I'm sitting there. Going over what has happened in my head, Harry Potter was in Gryffindor, the girl from the train was in Gryffindor, Ron was in Gryffindor, and then it happened, I was called up, I sat down and the hat said, Hmmmmmm, kind, loyal, brave, you would do well in Hufflepuff you know, then I was scared, I had to be in Gryffindor but the hat couldn't decide, it called Hufflepuff all of a sudden. Good gracious, I'm not in Gryffindor. I started to panic, but then, the hat called, GRYFFINDOR!

There was so much murmuring. THE HAT. Put me in TWO houses. How could that be? That's not how things work? So I stood there. Waiting. Waiting. Then Professor Dumbledoor called me up, and sent me to wait outside. Then he walked out and took me to his office.

"Ms. Weasley, this was a historic moment. But we now have to decide where your common room will be, who you will take classes with and who will be your head of house. Do you have a preference?" Dumbledoor asked me quite calmly, "Yes. Yes, I do. I want to be in Gryffindor," I said quickly, "I see, well give me a moment if you please," he said but he seemed skeptical. Why was he skeptical? Clearly I could be a Gryffindor. I mean the hat did say Gryffindor. Dumbldoor walked back in and said, "So Ms. Weasley, we have decided that, you will sleep in Hufflepuff, although you will have access to the Gryffindor common room. The girls dormitory in Gryffindor is already full but Hufflepuff has an extra spot, and you will be taking classes with both. Gryffindor on Tuesday, and Thursday, Hufflepuff on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday." He stated, "Okay," I said, slightly disappointed because I wouldn't be sleeping in Gryffindor but glad I was technically, a Gryffindor. I walked upstairs to the Hufflepuff common room. I met a girl named Hannah Abbot, she seemed nice and she's in my dorm. I went to bed worried about how my family will react to this new situation.
