Chapter 3:
Okay I'm back, it was my one year anniversary for my first story but right nowI'm focusing on this one. I am trying to change the story so you guys will enjoy it, so please leave comments. This story will not have Pokémon rangers in it, that'll be saved for the other story. Also no aura, I hate it and it's way too difficult to understand. Anyway here you go, the next chapter.
Ash after a long night, woke up to the noise of May and Max fighting. "Give me back my bandanna!!!" Ash could hear faintly. Ash looked out of his tent and saw May and Max chasing each other but while he watched them fighting he saw May's hair down for the first time. He found her drop dead gorgeous and couldn't help to stare. He kept staring until May tackled Max and got her bandanna back. She got up and put her bandanna back on before seeing Ash look at her. She felt herself blush and ran back into her tent. Ash got out of his trance and finally got ready for the day.
They sat down for a short breakfast before leaving for the old sailors house. "Hey Mr. Briney" Ash said while handing him the money. "Would it be at all possible to go to Dewford?" He continued politely. The older man, of course agreed, and quickly shuffled them onto the boat. The ride was long but enjoyable and beautiful. While Ash was enjoying the view, May came up to him and said "Hey Ash, do you know what Dewford is known for?" "No, May what?" He turned his attention to May. "It's beaches, do you like to swim?" Ash didn't even hesitate before saying "I love to," "well good because we are going to go to the beach first" she said with a smile. Ash was okay with this, he did want to beat the next gym but he had time. He looked over to Brock who was teasing him about May but he really couldn't care. May was a bit surprised but she gave him a hug and the both of them sat back and relaxed for the rest of the ride.
It took a while but they eventually arrived, it was getting late so they set up in the Pokecenter. However, before they went to bed, they decided to check the cave. Most of them were tired but they still persevered through it. "Hey Ash" May asked. "What's up May?" He responded with a yawn. "Should we start heading back, everyone is tired," she said, yawing. He turned and saw the others half asleep "I suppose you're right, let's start heading back" they made their way through it but before they reached the exit they were confronted by a Mawile. "That's a Mawile, you should catch it May." Max said, knowing the Pokémon from his dad's gym battles. She gave a look to Ash but he agreed with Max.
She sent out her Torchic and got ready to battle, "Torchic use ember" she said, waking herself up. The ember managed to connect and the Mawile looked hurt but it retaliated with a bite. Torchic looked hardly affected and used ember again. The Mawile looked tired and weak, knowing it made a terrible choice attacking them. May threw the pokeball and because the Mawile was so tired it didn't fight back. "Good Job May, you didn't even need my help." Ash said. Max agreed reluctantly, while Brock could barely open his eyes. They made their way home and fell asleep quickly knowing they have a big couple of days ahead of them.
They woke up and all got ready for the beach. The only person who didn't really want to go to the beach was Max but even he didn't really mind because it was so beautiful there. Ash and Brock got out first and headed to the beach. They made it there and it was completely empty, partially because it was so early, they put down their towel and started to get used to the water.
Max came out next and went to the towel to sit for a little before joining the other two in the water.
After an hour and the others thinking she died, May came out. "What took you so long?" Ash asked with a smile. "Why didn't you wait for me?" She pushed Ash. Ash got up and finally got a good look at May. He was astonished by her looks and didn't want to look away but at the same time he didn't want to look like a pervert so he looked away.
"Hey Ash, put some sunscreen on my back" she said like she was demanding it. "Okay I guess" he lathered his hand and put them on her back. He loved every second of it feeling her skin but again he didn't want May to suspect anything so he finished up quickly after that.
They all went into the water to play a number of games, the most surprising thing was that Max and May didn't get into a fight during it. The beach started getting crowded so they started to pack up when they saw a group of people around someone. They went and checked it out. It was Brawly, the gym leader, and they also found out that he would be in his gym tomorrow. A rarity for him. So, Ash took the rest of the day to train.
Ash went into the gym only knowing one thing,
Brawly was most likely high. I mean he says dude constantly which surely meant he had to be high. His thought was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Wazzup little dude, you ready for this gym battle or what?" He said in the same stoner tone. "Yea, you'd better be ready" Ash said going to his side.
"Go machop" Brawly said, a little more serious. "Go Treecko, use leech seed." The seeds his and Ash's plan went into action. He was going to stall, "machop use cross chop" but the machop missed thanks to Treecko's incredible speed. "Counter with absorb" it hits as well, meaning that the machop was virtually dead. "Good job Ash" May yelled. Ash blushed as he saw the machop faint thanks to the leech seed. Ash switched to Pikachu as Brawly went for meditite. "Use thunderbolt" but meditite was fast and dodged it as it used focus punch. Pikachu was hurt and definitely low on health but Ash had faith, "use thunderbolt" this time it hit and did massive damage. The meditite charged up another focus punch which Pikachu was late to react to, which meant Pikachu had to sacrifice itself to beat the meditite. It used a thunderbolt which killed the meditite but also was hit by a focus punch. Treecko came back out and Makuhita came in, Treecko went for leech seed while Makuhita went for bulk up. "Makuhita use bulk up again." Brawly said, sounding completely serious. "Treecko use fury swipes." It did a little damage but not enough." Makuhita then used karate chop which hit and left Treecko low. "Treecko hit absorb" the Treecko hit it and looked a lot healthier thanks to the absorb and leech seed. "Treecko finish this with a quick attack." It hit and killed the Makuhita.
Once the battle ended Treecko evolved into Grovyle and Ash got his second badge. May gave him a hug while the others congratulated him.
They walked to the Pokémon center and took the rest of the day off to explore the town.
