I'm still wondering how I should proceed with this story and how I should do it, and I've decided to just say screw it and go from there. That's basically how I write anyways.

Expect a lot of references.

Chapter 3

Plot

As we traveled the path to our escape, I walked closely to my sister before looking at her and asking, "So… any thoughts?"

"About what?" She asked back.

"About being in Strikers with me," I answered.

"I mean..It's nice? I would rather not be here though," Sophia replied, sounding rather unsure.

I got where she was coming from. Truth be told, I have sometimes thought about if I could just teleport between dimensions, or different animes since that was a fan favorite idea of mine, but sometimes I would at least go back. Especially recently how I'd only travel during the night when I was asleep. But still… I'm already missing them.

Before long, we encountered a hoard of Shadows, and I grimaced. "Son of a bitch," I finally said, not seeing any specific reason to continue my habit.

"Ah shit!" Ryuji shouted over me. "We're surrounded!" Ryuji and Morgana stepped forward. "You guys stay back, we got this!"

"Yeah, well no shit dumbass!" I retorted before I looked at my sister. "Don't worry Phi, as long as I got Arsène, we should be safe while they beat up the Shadows." I looked on as Ruuji and Morgana fought the Shadows. "Though it would be nice if you awakened Sophie's Persona, or the beta version of it or whatever it is."

"I can try?"

I looked at Sophia, and then back at the Shadows. "...okay, so you got to concentrate on feeling your face, and then feel something burn off your face and then it should appear and you can spam some spells or shit." I looked back at her. "Okay?"

"Okay, I'll try!" She then gained a serious aura around her that I for some reason felt before she summoned the four rectangular boxes which were Sophia's Persona before the budget increase came in, though we'd see that later. As in, by the end of August.

"Awesome!" I said while my own mask burned off. "ARSÈNE!" I thrusted my hand forward with a smile that was purely fake as Arsène used his only Curse attack and destroyed a cluster of Shadows.

Afterwards, we progressed onwards and defeated several more groups of Shadows and nabbing some loot because there was stuff lying around and I wouldn't mind some extra change since money was the biggest thing in the game. That, and food items.

Eventually as we defeated another group of Shadows, a mask had fallen to the ground, and I looked at it in surprise before walking to it and picking it up, before holding it up. "This is interesting," I commented, though I knew what it was. My only question was how do I gain the Persona?

Suddenly the mask leapt out of my hands and onto my face, where my mask already was and it just sunk into my mask, assimilating with it. I was in a sudden state of panic before I looked at Morgana and Ryuji. "Uh, hey, guys?"

"Yeah, what's up?" Morgana questioned.

"How does Joker use the multiple Personas and switch between them?" I asked.

"Well he gains new ones when the Shadows turn into the masks, and he acquires them when they burn into his mask," Morgana said. "As for switching between them, that's something he's never really discussed."

"Right," I said, before I decided it was experimenting time. I let my mask burn off so Arsène was out, before I felt Arsène's presence shift, and I turned around to see a Pixie behind me.

At least the game was still going accordingly.

We eventually made it to the surface and made it to the exit point of the Jail, before we exited the Jail. As we walked back to Leblanc, I immediately pulled out Joker's phone and opened it. (Thank GOD Joker has it to print recognition…) "Hey, Phi, you in there?" I was answered when Sophia just popped up.

"Yup! Safe and sound! Glad I didn't get lost," Sophia said.

"But you're forever trapped in this here phone," I reminded her while I smiled. "Heh."

"Ugh, being stuck with you, I'm gonna die," Sophia exaggerated while rolling her eyes.

"You probably might to be honest," I said honestly.

"Wait what?! I didn't sign up for this!" She replied sounding rather scared, though I couldn't tell if it was fake or not…

"I'm just kidding!" I said to try and make her stop.

"Yup I believe you" Sophia said in a sarcastic tone.

I then turned off the phone and placed it in my pocket with a genuine smile. I'm such a good big brother.

When we got back to Leblanc, I looked at everyone since we had all gathered. "Okay, we have saved three people. This is only a start of the bigger picture since we need to stop Alice's little brainwashing tactic that's she doing thanks to the power of EMMA," I began. "Also, my sister is with us." I pulled out Joker's phone and placed it on the table. "Phi-Phi, introduce yourself to your new best friends."

"Yo! You can call me Phi or Phi-Phi, I don't mind. I hope to get along with everyone!" Sophia flashed a bright smile.

"So this is your sister…" Yusuke commented.

"You lay a finger on her," I began while using one of my many voices that I was surprised I could do even though I was in Joker's body, "I'mma break yo' legs."

"Uh thanks, I guess?" Phia said while sounding rather unsure.

"Why would you break my legs?" Yusuke asked.

"A flash of dialogue between you and the real Sophia that should be here instead of my sister, since I didn't anticipate this," I answered. "The real Sophia that should be here is an AI, and she should be the one helping us. Instead, we were left with Phia."

"Is that supposed to be a good or bad thing?" Makoto asked.

"Good question…" I replied.

"Probably not," Sophia answered.

"True," I said. "But Phia should get the hang of black marketing and getting us our new weapons and armor and shit soon enough."

"Hold on, your sister gave us her name, right?" Haru asked.

"Uh, yeah," I answered.

"Should you give us your name then?" Haru asked, while all of the thieves looked at me.

"Nope!" I answered. "While I do trust you guys, I don't trust my predicament at all. Plus… who knows who could be watching us, listening in on this conversation. The police could barge into this room at any moment, and we wouldn't know cause we were having this conversation."

"Yeah right. Like the police would just be hunting us down," Ryuji scoffed. He then thought to himself for a moment. "Right?"

"Actually, they suspect us for changing people's hearts and also be the reason for several things," I answered.

"WHAT?!" They all questioned, but Phia.

"So, are we wanted criminals?!" Ann questioned.

"Nope," I answered. "But… we're still rather suspect in this case of theirs. So we need to go and take down Alice's Palace, and then we need to go on an absurd road trip that we're gonna go on solely because I want to travel Japan, and then we need to save the world from the final boss and then resume our lives as if this never happened, while Owada gets arrest for accepting illegal funds from Madicce, killing a cop's wife while driving under the influence of alcohol, and ordering the death of his own secretary to cover up the fact that he killed the cop's wife."

They all looked at me surprised for a good moment. "Wait who's Owada?" Sophia questioned.

"What we could call, a dick," I answered. "I don't exactly remember since I don't exactly care much about him, but I believe he's some big shot CEO of some company."

"Well that's putting it mildly…" Ryuji remarked.

"Ok then…" Sophia sounded rather unsure, but I shrugged.

"Okay, let's break for today, and head into the Meta-Verse tomorrow," I said. I looked at Ann because I remember something and I needed to get in contact with Alice just so I can show her what she's doing. "Ann, can you try to get onto the set again for the TV talk show that's featuring Alice?"

"Y-You know about that?" Ann questioned.

"I know a lot," I answered. "And there is something that we need to see and something I need to do. As such, I'm counting on you."

Ann nodded. "I'll try…"

Everyone then left, and me, Morgana, and Sophia were left to sit in the attic of Leblanc and I sat there, unsure of what to do. "Hmm…"

"So uh, what should I call you my fellow brother? Your name? Or what?" Sophia asked. I never actually discussed this with her yet.

"Well, call me Lego while we're here," I told her. "I think it's best if we do it this way so we don't get found out. Who knows if there is some Shadow out there that might try to infiltrate our world and take it over…"

"Oh okay, should I have some cool nickname?" Sophia asked.

"Sure," I said.

"And while you're at it, we could also think of your Phantom Theif alias," Morgana added.

"Phantom Theif alias?" Sophia questioned.

"Um, please refrain from using the bigger words," I told Morgana. "She's still in elementary so she doesn't exactly understand as many words as us."

"Oh, okay," Morgana said before clearing his throat. "Your code name."

"Oh. Okay! That makes sense. I'm gonna need some time to think about that if you don't mind," she answered.

"I don't mind that," I said, while picking up the phone. I then opened the EMMA app. "In the meantime, it's time to try and train."

"Oh right, you're not as accustomed to fighting as the rest of us," Morgana said. "And since you didn't awaken Joker's Persona, or Arsène, you don't entirely have the same will and readiness to fight as the rest of us do. At least, with hand to hand combat."

"Yeah," I replied. "Plus, I want to try and acquire some more Personas for later too."

"Fair enough," Morgana said.

"If you went to train..doesn't that mean I have to come with?" Phia asked.

"Well, yes… But you could just wait by the portal if you don't want to train with us," I told her.

"Ok, I'll wait, I might come and join you guys later on," Phia answered.

"Fair enough," I said, before me and Morgana entered the Meta-Verse for some training.

I choose to leave it off here, and we'll begin with some plot in the next chapter. Now, I'm going to go and try and unlock a Persona in Strikers for reasons that will correlate with the plot somewhere down the line.
