Rocky sat outside on the very long steps that led up towards the Monastery. Ray comes down the steps and sits down next to him.
"How are you doing kiddo?" He asked, patting him on the back.
"Mom hasn't been paying any attention to me since she lost control of her element." Rocky admits. "Dad is so happy that I can do Spinjitzu, but mom hasn't even noticed." He kicks a pebble off the steps.
Ray gently patted his grandson's back again. "Your mother is under a lot of stress right now, because of her element is out of control and she's annoyed with her own mother."
"Uncle Kai, Aunty Skylor and everyone else is really proud too." Rocky kicked another pebble off the steps.
Ray looked at him sadly, before he smiled. "I saw your Spinjitzu, you did great."
Rocky smiled, then looked up at his Grandfather. "Thanks Grandpa."
Ray wrapped his arm around Rocky, pulling him to his side. "How about we go back into the monastery, huh? I'll give you some cake, if your father hasn't sniffed it out yet."
Rocky grinned.
"There's that smile!" Ray said with a big smile. "Come on."

The Ninja stood at the harbor.
"Zane." PIXAL turns to him, holding a remote. "Would you do the honors?"
Zane presses a button and the Hydro Bounty emerges from below the water, the Ninja gasp.
"How did you build this so fast?" Jay asks.
PIXAL smiles. "I had been tinkering with it in my spare time over the past several years."
"It's amazing PIXAL." Wu said as he walked up to the vessel.
"And beautiful." Jeanette smiled.
"I am proud to say it is one of the most sophisticated vessels I have designed, and is practically unsinkable." PIXAL said proudly.
Both Kai and Cole frown and turns to her. "You know what happens when you call a vessel "unsinkable", right?" Cole questions.
PIXAL looks visibly confused at him while the others cringe and give Cole weird looks as Lloyd motions for Cole to zip it.
"Oh." Kai thumps his brother-in-law. "It doesn't sink, of course!"
Lloyd, Cole, Nya and Jeanette jump onto the submarine. "This is great, PIXAL! Just what we need." Lloyd smiles as he places his hands on his hips.
"But how sure are you that the underwater pulse you guys saw is causing my powers to freak out?" Nya asks with worry.
"Ninety-seven percent positive." Zane answered, causing Kai to smile.
"That's pretty positive."
Nya still looked worried. "But what if my powers go crazy on me while we're down there?" She continued. "Maybe I should sit this mission out."
"Nya." Cole turns to her, taking her hand. "That's exactly why we need you to go. You're the master of Water. There's no one more connected to the sea than you."
"But."- Nya starts to protest.
"Nya." Jeanette turns to her. "It's either the mission or you staying behind to listen to your mother's constant nagging about your water form and both you and Cole's parenting."
Kai frowns. "Our mother hasn't."- He then yelps when Zane stepped on his foot.
"You're right." Nya nods. "We should pack."

Back at the Monastery, Ray is playing Prime Empire while Kai is leaning on the back of the couch as he watches. Nya is standing by a door with a bag, while Maya does not look happy with her arms folded.
"I don't know how long we'll be gone. However long it takes to figure out what's creating this pulse and shut it down."
"Sounds like it'll be dangerous." Maya turns to her husband. "Ray! Say something!" She scolds.
Ray looks visibly dejected. "So I guess I'll have no one to play Prime Empire with?" He pouts as he holds a controller.
"Wait!" Kai placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm not going on the mission!" He sits down next to his father. "Wu wants me to study the current and previous Masters of Fire. That's you and me, pops. And besides, if that pulse hits again, someone has to protect Ninjago City. Jay's staying too."
Suddenly Rocky comes running in. "Uncle Kai! Uncle Kai!" He cries running in and leaning on the couch to catch his breath.
"What's wrong Rocky?" Kai asks, Rocky straightens up.
"Aunty Skylor called, she needs you at the Noodle House right now." Rocky said with worry.
Kai quickly stood up. "What?" He asked in almost a panic. "What happened?"
Rocky shook his head. "I don't know, she wants you over there now."
"Ok, nobody panic!" Kai cried as he starts to panic, while his family is calm and watches as he panics. "Skylor!" He cried, running out of the room with his arms out in front of him.
Ray calmly turns to Nya. "Does Jay play Prime Empire?"

Maya chases after her daughter, stopping her. "Are you sure this is the right time to be going on a mission?"
Nya turns to her. "Mom, I go on missions all the time. Missions are pretty much the main thing I do."
"Don't you think it's time to maybe take a break? Rest a little?"
"Maybe that's how you used to solve problems, but the way I do it is to get involved and fix things." Nya turns and walks away.
Behind Maya, Rocky had been watching with his head poking out from the game room.

Inside the Hydro Bounty, the team take their seats.
"All hands ahoy, ye old salts! Cast off, and be quick about it!" Zane calls in a pirate voice, and the others look at him.
"Why are you talking like that, Zane?" Nya asks.
"Let me guess. You downloaded thousands of terabytes of movies and novels on sailors and pirates, in order to prepare for our journey." PIXAL guessed.
"Or Jay played with Zane's wiring again." Jeanette replied.
"Yargh, and musical sea shanties." Zane continued to talk like a pirate. "Now stow that jibber-jabber and cast off, I say! Cast off!" He said causing PIXAL to sigh before they start the Hydro Bounty. "That's better. Now full ahead and sound off, the lot of ye'!"
"Navigation is go." PIXAL said.
"Engines are go." Lloyd said.
"Sonar is go." Nya said.
"Helm is go." Cole said.
"Music to me ears! Dive the boat. Make your depth three hundred feet, and full ahead!" Zane calls.
The Hydro Bounty submerges.
PIXAL frowns as the sensor flashing red and blinking in a certain area. "Hmm, I am detecting movement in the aft corridor."
Zane turns to her. "Fie! How can that be? We're all here."
PIXAL turns back to him. "Never mind, must be a faulty sensor."
The submarine gets close to entering the open ocean.
"We are entering open ocean." PIXAL tells her friends.
"Avast, scallywags, we must be on our guard, as we dip into the dark and briny deep and fathoms unseen!" Zane cried.
"Yeah ... I'm gonna need a Pirate to Nindroid translation on that." Nya said, turning back around to face the front.
"What Zane means is that we are now traveling to the deepest part of the ocean. A trench known as the Tartarus Trench, which has never been mapped, so we should prepare for the unexpected." PIXAL explained.

In the kitchen, Nya is looking out the window, a burping noise is heard and she turns to find Cole eating a peace of cake.
He places the plate in the sink and walks over to her, holding a glass of milk. "What's the matter babe?"
Nya sighs, she turns to him. "Cole, as we go deeper, I can feel its elemental power growing. It's almost overwhelming."
Cole takes her hand. "Sweetheart, don't worry." He said gently, the two share a smile. "Whatever is freaking out your powers, I know we'll find the solution down here."
"No one's ever been this deep before." She reminds him. "We have no idea what we'll find down here."
Cole stands up. "Well, hehe, one thing I don't wanna find is myself in the pirate brig. I'm sure." He then tries to talk in a pirate voice. "Cap'n Zane would have us keel-hauled if we don't do our dishes." He turns gasps as he sees the dishes are now already done, leaving him confused.

Lloyd smiles as he enter the bedroom, he frowns when he sees his bed fully made. "What?" He walks over to his bed as he places his hand on it. "Who made my bed?" He sees something on his pillow. "Is that." He trails off as he sniffs it, then pops it into his mouth. "Pillow mint? Ah, the most refreshing mint of them all. But how?" He frowns, then leaves to go find Jeanette.

Jeanette enter the laundry to find her clothing neatly folded on the table. "Did Lloyd wash my cloths already?" She grabs the door of the washer and opens it to find it empty.
"Lloyd!" Jeanette cried as she turns and runs out of the room.

Zane limps down a corridor slowly. Jeanette and Lloyd soon find him.
"Zane, we might have a problem." Jeanette said.
"Yeah, the chores are. Wait, why are you walking like that?" Lloyd questions.
"I be simulating the walk of a pirate with a peg leg." Zane answered with a smile.
Jeanette sighed. "Why?"
"So me crew will respect me, of course, ye briny barnacles!" Zane exclaimed.
Cole comes running over, panting as he holds a plunger. "Guys. Someone's been doing all of my chores! There's only one explanation."
"We have a stowaway!" Jeanette cried.
Cole opens his mouth, thinks for a moment with a funny look on his face, he pauses as he closes it again, then opens his mouth. "That's one theory."
Lloyd folds his arms with his eyebrow raised. "What's the other?"
Cole turns to him. "This boat is haunted by the ghost of some butler! Probably named Ducklesworth or something."
A shadow runs past behind them causing Cole to gasp. "It's Ducklesworth! Get him!"
Jeanette, Lloyd, and Cole run towards the shadow while Zane continues to limp.

They come up to a dead end.
"Where'd they go?" Lloyd questions.
Cole turns to him. "Hello, he's a ghost! He can fade through walls. Ghost are like super Ninjas." He knocks on Lloyd's head with handle of the plunger. "I use to be a ghost. So I know these things."
"Guys, calm down." Jeanette said, she looks around, then looks up. "That's no shadow." She points towards the ceiling.
Maya is trying to hide in the rafters of the ceiling. "Uh hi."
Jeanette folds her arms as Maya drops from the ceiling.
"I wanted to help." Nya's mother said.
Cole shoves the plunger he'd been holding into Lloyd's hands. "Look, Maya." He starts nervously. "Nya's a little sensitive about you right now."
Suddenly Rocky falls out of his own hiding place, making Cole gasp.
"Rocky!?" He walks up to his son. "What are you doing!?" He demands angirly.
"I, I, I." Rocky stutters as he quickly gets up and straightens himself out. "I wanted to help too."
"First the mountain!" Cole starts, throwing his arms out. "Now this!" He points at his son. "You are grounded indefinitely this time!"
"All crew to the bridge. We are now approaching the Tartarus Trench." PIXAL's voice came through the speakers.

The team now stood in the bridge, the Ninja at their stations. "Ah, Maya. Good to see you. That explains why my clothes were pressed and folded." PIXAL said once she saw Maya.
Rocky sat in Zane's chair, his arms folded as he had just got a chewing by his mother, then Nya turned and gave a chewing out to her mother.
"PIXAL, what are those structures approaching." Nya asks, her eyes narrowed, PIXAL walks over to her and looks out the windshield.
"Spires of rock."
"Reduce speed." Zane said.
As the submarine moves, it hits something causing everyone to stumble.
"No damage detected." PIXAL sad, and everyone sighs in relief.
The Hyrdo Bounty continues to make it's way towards the floor of the ocean.
"Look." PIXAL points out the windshield.
"What is that?" Jeanette questions.
"It looks like a graveyard of ships." Nya tried to answer.
"What do you suppose happened to them?" Cole asks.
Zane walks up to stand between the two. "Hold fast, lads. Keep your nerve."
The Hydro Bounty hits something again, making everyone stumble again.
"What was that?" Rocky asks as he holds onto Maya's arm.
"Where taking fire!" PIXAL announces. "Something is approaching fast!"
"Avast! They've hit us abroadsides! Evasive action! Return fire!" Zane cried.
"Locked on target!" PIXAL said.
Zane turns to Lloyd. "All stun torpedoes!"
"Tubes one and two, fired!" Lloyd presses a button, launching the two.
"I've lost the target." PIXAL said.
"Did we hit it?" Jeanette asked, just before a creature swims right towards them. "Whoa!"
"We've lost power!" PIXAL announces.
"We're sinking!" Jeanette cried, holding fists full of Lloyd's gi with both hands.
"We are approaching maximum safe depth." PIXAL announces. "We must stop our descent!"
Nya turns back around to face the front. "I see a ledge of some kind to our left!"
"Left, full rudder! Brace for impact!" Zane orders. Maya grabs Rocky and holds him protectivly as everyone braces themselves as the Hydro Bounty makes it way down, hitting more rock before crashing to the floor of the ocean and everyone stumbles. During the descent Lloyd had grabbed Jeanette and pulled her into his lap to sit sideways as the power goes out and the emergancy red lights are on.
"No one make a sound!" Nya warns in a whisper. "They can still hear us."
"Is everyone ok?" Lloyd asked in a whisper. "Jen? Rocky?"
"I think so." Maya answered, slowly releasing Rocky who makes his way to both his parents, and grab him in a group hug.
"That was freaky." Jeanette whispered, her head resting on Lloyd's chest still in his lap.
Zane slides down in his chair and raises a hand. "I be alive."
PIXAL makes sure the cost is clear. "I do not believe it can see us."
"Great. Now how do we get out of here?" Nya asks worried.
PIXAL walks back to her station and looks at the sensors. "It appears we have sustained critical damage." She turns to her friends. "All systems are down."
Zane facepalms. "Shiver me timbers! We be stranded at the bottom of the sea! Our unsinkable vessel, be sunk!"
