Chapter 3 Delicia and Crolea
Once they get back to the beach, Ash and Alice are surprised to see something standing on the dock, and it is an Ultra Beast known as Pheromosa.
"What is Pheromosa doing here?" Ash asks in surprise, and Alice says, "Pheromosa? Is that a big deal?"
"It is an Ultra Beast, and it shouldn't have been in this world..." Ash says as they approach the Pokemon. Pheromosa is watching them and it seems to see potential in both Ash and Alice as a trainer.
Ash feels like he can understand this Pokemon, so he asks, "Do you want a battle?"
The Ultra Beast nods as Ash sends out his Noivern to battle. Pheromosa is doing speedy tricks and then it delivers a Triple Kick on Noivern.
"Noivern, use Air Slash!" Ash yells, and Noivern shoots out the air at the Pheromosa, but it dodges.
"That Pokemon is so fast..." Alice says in awe. Ash says, "I know, but I'll never give up until it is over. Use Hurricane!"
Then Noivern uses the move to trap Pheromosa inside of the storm, causing it to fall fainted. Ash rushes to the Ultra Beast and asks, "Are you okay?"
Pheromosa just looks at him and gives him a Beast Ball, much to their surprise. Then she points at Ash and then herself, he says, "Okay...return." Ash recalls the Pokemon and Alice says, "Did it just give you a Pokeball?"
"Yeah...but we'll need to get to the Pokemon Center to heal up." Ash says as they get to the Pokemon Center. While waiting for Nurse Joy to heal, Alice notices three different colored Pokemon and she is surprised.
"I have never seen those colors from those Pokemon..." Alice says.
"Me neither." Ash says as he decides to talk to the three Pokemon. The black and white-colored Musharna says, "I'm Dreamer Musharna! My dreams take me to all kinds of places! If you're willing, you can show me that the waking world can be just as vivid as my dreams."
"It can talk?" Ash and Alice are surprised and the Pokemon says, "Huh? You haven't seen a talking Pokemon before?"
Ash says, "I have, it is just I was surprised. So what do you mean by showing you?"
As he glows, suddenly, Ash and Alice are changed into two Musharna just like the Dreamer, Ash says, "Hey, what did you do to us?"
"Don't worry, you can become yourself again." Musharna says as he glows, then they are both changing back.
"Geez...what an experience..." Alice says.
"Let me know when you're ready. I'll be dreaming in the meantime!" Musharna says.
They then ask the brown and blue colored Cradily, and he says, "I am a Cradily, Adventurer Cradily, to be more specific. My journey has taken me to many places. Most recently, here in the Ceolis Region. If you'd like, I could experience your adventures too."
"No thank you...we like to be ourselves." Ash says.
"I wish you the best in your travels, then. I'll be here if you need me." Cradily says.
The final one is a yellow and pink colored Corsola. It says, "Musical Corsola here~ I sing about all the places I visit and people I met~ If you want, I can sing about you and your journey, too~"
They also turn down the request, and it says, "I'll be here singing if you need me~"
Ash and Alice can't handle this much as they quickly leave the Pokemon Center, Alice says, "There are two sections of Virima City, but the Southern part is not opened for now."
"I guess it's fine." Ash says. "The gym isn't in the south, right?"
"No." Alice says, "It's in the northern part."
They stop at a bench when a woman asks them, "Do you prefer Strawberries or blueberries?"
"I like Blueberries." Alice says, and Ash says, "I like Strawberries."
"Then these are for you." She gives Alice a Belue Berry while Ash received a Rawst Berry, they put them in the bag as the woman says, "My favorite berry is the Raspberries, I always keep Razz Berries I find."
As they get to a store, they see that it sells a lot of incenses, Ash tells Alice that the incenses can be used in battles or getting eggs, and Alice in awe at how much knowledge Ash knows from his past journies.
"We're finally here, Virima Library." Alice says, "There are a lot of books that we can find here in the libaray."
"I will like to check it out." Ash says.
Just then, they see a man at the counter as he is asking a librarian, the librarian says, "There's no need to be so apprehensive, Brutus. That was more than 500 years ago. It'll be ridiculous of someone to think you're the same person now as you were then. Ivan allowed me to give you this book when it's our only copy and he donated it himself. That right there says that everyone from back then knows you've changed."
"I supposed you're right. But I still feel like I haven't properly atoned. I didn't address what I did in public. Until recently, I've been trying to hide from my past instead of confronting it." The man known as Brutus says.
"To me, it is enough that you've realized your mistakes and are making better decisions. But if this is what you need to move on and forgive yourself, it sounds like you're already making a start, and you should be proud of yourself for that." The librarian continues.
"Thank you. Hearing that helped." Brutus says as he walks away from the library. Much to the two's confusion, but they decide to ignore it until they are spotted by a scientist.
"Hello there. This is probably a random question to just ask someone, but do you happen to have one of the "hacked by Isabelle" Pokedex?"
"I do." Alice says.
"That's perfect! I'm reading buddies with this Blipbug. We heard about those Pokedexes and wanted to see what they're like."
Alice gives her the Pokedex as looks at it, after that, she is laughing at the information and she says, "These are great, thank you for showing us."
And the Blipbug wants to join Alice so it can read more about the entries, Alice asks, "Are you sure about that?"
"Don't worry, it's okay with me if it's okay with Blipbug! I'm not a trainer or anything, we just both hang out in the library and read sometimes. Although if you came back with Blipbug to visit, I'd definitely appreciate it!" The scientist says as Alice takes out a Pokeball and captures it.
Ash decides to check out the Pokedex to see why it is funny, and he reads the Blipbug and he says, "What is this? New Pikmin?"
Alice says, "And for Pheromosa, it says Radiant Perfume. This really is hacked..."
"I know. It feels so wrong and funny at the same time." Ash says.
When they get further, they see two girls, one with black hair and the other one with pink hair, are reading books. The pink-haired girl notices Ash and Alice and she says, "Ice..."
"Ice?" Ash asks, but she sends out Vanillite, Ash realizes that she wants to battle, so he sends out Charizard to battle the girl. The girl is calling the Vanillite Ice Cream, and it is using Uproar even though they are in a library, but Charizard silences it with the Flamethrower.
Her next Pokemon is an odd-colored Mareep that is pink colored, and she calls it Cotton Candy. It is using Thunder Shock to give Charizard a lot of damage, but Charizard still defeats it with the Dragon Claw. The final Pokemon she has is a Lickitung that she called pumpkin pie, and it uses Lick to paralyze Charizard, but with the Seismic Toss, Pumpkin Pie is defeated.
"Sandwiches..." The girl says with a frown, and then the black-haired girl is reading the book and mutters, "Super Smash Bros...that sounds like a cool name for a fighting game."
She notices how Ash and Alice are battling with the girl and she says, "Oh, hi. My name is Crolea. Sorry about Delicia coming out of nowhere. That's my fault."
Ash says, "It's fine, so that girl is called Delicia?"
"Yeah. I dragged her here with me, and she's not really into books, so she was bored. You handled her really well, though! You were startled, but you still kept your guard up in that battle. I'd like to see how you do against me, is that okay?" Crolea asks.
"Sure, I can have another battle." Ash says.
"I'm so in sync with Pokemon that I don't need to give them directions!" Crolea says as she sends out her Stufful named Ursa. Ash sends out Pikachu to battle this one. When Pikachu is using Quick Attack, it dodges without Crolea commanding it.
"How is that even possible..." Alice says with shock at how Crolea didn't command the Pokemon to dodge and attack just like that.
But in the end, Pikachu can still defeat Ursa, and Crolea sends out her next Pokemon, a Gothita named Astra. Gothita uses Tickle on Pikachu, causing it to keep laughing, but Pikachu still gives it a Thunderbolt to knock out the Pokemon. So Crolea's final Pokemon is an Inkay known as Alien, it uses Swagger to make Pikachu confused, and Pikachu did hurt itself a lot because of the attack, but in the end, Pikachu snaps out of confusion and it defeats the Inkay with Iron Tail.
"You seem like you have been battling for very long, I can say that you're a pretty interesting trainer." Crolea says.
"Thanks, I have been starting my journey ever since I am ten." Ash says.
"What brings you here to this Ceolis?" Crolea asks, and Alice says, "We're here for vacation while Ash is going to challenge the league while I am making friends with Pokemon."
"Oh, so you're here for a vacation? Welcome to Ceolis Region, then! I hope you enjoy your time here! I think we should keep going, though. I've kept Delicia waiting for long enough. See you around!"
Then the two girls leave, and Ash says, "I have a feeling we will be seeing those two again..."
"Why is that?" Alice asks, "I mean...they don't seem to be bad people."
"I didn't say that they are bad." Ash says, "Though I wonder why that Delicia girl keeps saying dessert names? I mean...she seems to know those words and Pokemon moves."
"I don't know. Maybe we should ask her the next time we meet." Alice says as they leave the library.
"But since we have spent a lot of time exploring this city, I think the gym should be open by now." Ash says.
"Yeah, let's go check it out." Alice says.
Here is a new chapter, first, in this game, Legendary Pokemon or Ultra Beasts are usually given to you instead of trying to waste your Pokeballs. And second, Ash and Alice finally meet Delicia and Crolea, those two have been in a special part of this game, and what do I mean by that? You'll just have to play it yourself, or wait until the future chapters to find out what I mean. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the first gym, which will be six on six just like Pokemon Reborn.
