Chapter 3

"What are we going to do?" Emily asked nervously.

The three girls all remand silently for a few moments taking in all of the knowledge they had just learned off. That A is back and that and Courtney has returned. The atmosphere was a mix of dread and relief. Spencer shortly broke the silence.

" look I don't know about how the rest of you are feeling about Courtney being back but I want to see her , After All she is my sister and she has got a lot of explaining to do. Emily is there any way that you could convince Courtney to meet with us "spencer whispering the last part encase they were being watched.

"I'll try Spencer… but she is afraid and I don't know how long I can keep her here before she wants to go into hiding again. After all Ali knows she is alive now it won't be long before she tries to kill her again" Emily whispered hoping they could find a way to get out of this mess.

"That's why we need to meet her so we can work together and come up with a way to put an end to Ali's games. After all we need her help she is the only one that could play this game better than Ali can , she convinced everyone for years that she was someone she's not. We need her help and quite frankly she should help given its her fault that we in this situation in the first place." Spencer said.

The four girls all nodded in agreement and all sat back on the couches in the barn.

"I'll talk to her when I get back tomorrow but we need to find somewhere safe to hide as I can't' keep her at my house much longer without my mum finding out that she is alive" Emily said while pondering the situation.

"Ok I guess we will have to find somewhere for her to stay to keep her around" Hanna said not happy with situation.

"Spencer why do you want her around anyway she just made our lives miserable" Aria asked letting her distaste at the current situation they are in.

"Aria, she is my sister and I just want a chance to have her as a part of my family. I know she was a terrible person but I hope that it isn't her really. She has got a story to tell, she did something terrible but there has got to be a reason why she switched places with Ali. I have to believe that, I want to understand why and I hope that we can move forward." Spencer whispered.

"We know that they switched places but why I want to know too." Hanna said.

The other three girls nodded, wanting to know why as well.

"Let's get ready for bed then" spencer said feeling a little tired as the weight of the conversation weighing down on her.

The next morning the four girls woke up and decided to get ready for the day and head out for breakfast. The girls headed to the brew to get some coffee and something to eat.

"Ok I'm going to head off then I've got to go to talk to Courtney, I just hope she still there. So see you later, ill text when we should meet with her then. Bye" Emily said while jogging of on her way home.

Emily unlocked the door and looked around the house and quickly heading upstairs to her room.

"Hey."
Emily threw her bag down and smiled at the blonde laying on the bed sleeping peacefully. Emily quietly left the room to go downstairs and make the blonde some breakfast. Courtney woke and began to stir. After a few minutes she left the room and made her way downstairs to see Emily in the kitchen cooking.

"Hey you're back earlier than I expected?" Courtney said with a smile as she began to approach the kitchen table.

"Yeah I told the girls and it kind of killed the mood at the sleepover, so we left earlier than I probably would off" Emily sadly stated.

"I'm sorry, I just wish that this never happened that's all." Courtney said glumly.

"Sit down I've made you some breakfast" Emily said.

The two girls ate in a comfortable silence.

"So the girls want to meet you time" Emily said while looking up at the blonde.

"Why?" Courtney said startled at Emily's words.

"We want your help. You're the one who has pretended to be someone else for over a year, you can beat Ali at her own game. You know her better than all of us." Emily said with conviction.

Courtney stared down at the table for a few moments and then brought her eyes to meet Emily's eyes.

"How do you expect me to beat her Emily, The last time I beat her at something I ended being shoved down a pit and then buried alive. She's always wins, she always has done" Courtney said while tears dripped down her cheek. Reliving this memory is too much.

"You can do it. Besides there is five of us now. She can't be that good Courtney. This game has got to end, she can't win." Emily said with conviction.

"Also we all want to no your story, how you ended up in the preserve in the first place and why you stole Ali's life. I think that there is a reason behind this, I just want to understand, and can you do that?" Emily said staring into Courtney's deep blue' eyes.

Courtney' looked away for a moment, hesitating, then she looked up for a moment. "I'll tell you guys everything but I don't think we can beat Ali" Courtney said sadly.

"Ok we will meet them tomorrow, is that ok?" Emily said.

Courtney nodded and then started eating her breakfast again. Emily cell phone rang.

"It's spencer" Emily said.

"Hey spencer, what's up?"

"Yeah we will be there tomorrow at 12, yeah I'm just going to spend the day with Courtney, see you later" Emily placed the phone down on the table.

"She wants to meet us at twelve tomorrow is that."

"Yeah that's ok. What do you want to do for the rest of the day then?" Courtney said.

"How about we just have a movie day then"? Emily said with a huge grin on her face.

"Yeah sounds good, what's got a smile on your face?" Courtney winked.

"Nothing, I just never thought that we would get to do this again that's all" Emily stuttered.

"I'm glad." Courtney said with huge smile on her face.

The two girls went up to Emily rooms and Courtney went and sat up on Emily bed. "You pick Em" Courtney said with a smile on her face. Emily went over to her bookstand and picked out her favourite movie and popped into the DVD player and made her way over to the bed and lied down next to the blonde.

"What we watching" Courtney asked.

"The little mermaid!" Emily said.

"That's your favourite right" Courtney asked.

"You remember" Emily said surprised.

"Well you were my favourite so it's hard to forget" Courtney giggled bringing a huge grin to Emily's face. They had both missed times like this where it was just the two of them having fun. It was the little things they missed that brings them the most joy. They both thought they would never get to do these things again. They just had to stop Ali then this could be them all the time.

"I really missed this Emily, I really did. Stuff like this kept me going while I was hiding." Courtney said with a tear in her eye. Emily leaned in and kissed Courtney' lips. Courtney immediately reciprocated kiss, pulling Emily closer, and began ask for entrance. Emily immediately opened her mouth and Courtney slipped her tongue inside and the two tongues began to dance insides the mouths. I Constant back and forth neither girl want to give up control. The two girls only pulled away when they became breathless.

"Wow Em, just Wow" Courtney said while out of breathe.

"You enjoyed that" Emily said while blushing shyly.

"Yeah I did, I want this to work Em I really do but first we got to beat Alison at her own game then" Courtney said with conviction in her voice.

"You really do, you think we can do this?" Emily said with hint of worry.

"Yeah we will Em, we will" Courtney said.
