Chapter three
The teens decided that it would be better to play catch with the frisbee rather than sit around and wonder what the parents were discussing. Once there were all alone outside just the nine of them, when their communicators chimed. Walking over to the tree covered area to answer zordon. "This is Tommy go ahead zordon."
"Rangers your presents are needed in the command center." Zordon informed.
"On our way Zordon" looking around to make sure nobody saw them and teleported out. Landing in the command center
"Zordon what seems to be the problem?" Tommy asked.
"It is no threat to the planet rangers, it's about the condition of the zords and your powers after the recent battle with Zedd's monsters, not to mention the condition of our pink ranger." Zordon informed
Shocking all the rangers except one. Kimberly knew that she talked to zordon before boarding the Train.
"Well what is wrong with our zords, and powers." Tommy asked.
"You will learn soon enough" said a strange voice answering the question from the leader of the power rangers.
"Rangers allow me to introduce Dulcea, the master warrior of Phaedos and the other visitor is Ninjor, the guardian of the temple of ancient powers." Zordon said in an introducing manner
"Greetings rangers, we were informed that time is of the essants." Ninjor stated.
"Yes rangers we must take you with them to get your new powers and zords." Explained Dulcea.
"Well I guess we will see you when you all return." Said Jason.
No! Jason you are accompanying them on their quest, just as Zack, and Trini will be." Zordon informed the three recently retired rangers.
"You nine will find new allies on your journey." Dulcea informed them.
"We must leave now." Ninjor stated.
The rangers following their guides into the portal they arrived through. Instantly arriving at the plateau where there was a fire pit that was in the very center of the plateau.
"What are we doing here?" Tommy asked in kind of a huff. "I don't mean to sound disrespectful but our homes seem to be in danger"
"In due time all will be revealed to you and you will return home more powerful than before, you will have all the answers you seek rangers." Dulcea said looking around at all of them.
"The two allies Zordon spoke of will be arriving soon." Ninjor informed them.
"Are we waiting for them?" Questioned Aisha.
"Yes yellow ranger" answered Dulcea. "Once they arrive we should be able to get started" she continued.
Just a few minutes earlier with the new allies.
"Katherine, Tanya, you will be traveling to the distant planet of Phaedos where you will meet the rest of your team and you will join and defend the planet." Demetria explained.
"When do we leave?" asked Tanya
"Because we are just in the woods we are no longer protected, you don't have powers to fight them off if they find us." Demetria stated
Just then the paronetrons rushed through the woods and found Katherine and Tanya disappearing through the portal, traveling to the demention where they are now needed. Demetria stepped in front of them to block her students' escape. The paronetrons made quick work of Demetria she was destroyed and before the portal closed. Not wanting to be late two young women appeared from a similar portal they came through.
"Sorry we are late." Spoke a tall blonde with an Australian accent.
"Well don't just stand there come join the others in front of the firepit." Dulcea instructed.
All eleven teens formed a U shaped formation as instructed. Once they were all set Dulcea took a large pouch from the side of the firepit and dumped some in her hands.
"Buried deep inside all of us is an animal spirit, Only a select few are able to use their full potential, Rangers nine of you were chosen by Zordon. I have faith in his wisdom as for the other two you were studying under the watchful eye of Demetria so I believe you are ready as well. Now look deep inside yourself and find your animal spirit." informed Dulcea.
While Dulcea was informing the rangers of what would happen, Ninjor was working on the power coins and tying the powers to the morphin grid and the animal spirits. Once he was finished the rangers would have a deeper connection to the grid and the powers they are used to. Meanwhile the rangers had found their animal spirit and when Ninjor approached the group with their new power coins. As he spoke with each ranger he handed the coin to the correct ranger. The rangers opened their eyes and looked at the new suits; they were dressed in basic ninja robes in their signature color with a faint outline of their animal spirits in a slightly lighter shade of the color they normally wear.
"What power you now possess." Ninjor said
The first one he stood in front of was Rocky, "Strong and courageous Rocky you are the mighty Ape." Ninjor informed handing him a gold coin with the etching of an ape on it.
Then he stepped in front of the next ranger "Aishia, Caring and loving you are the clever bear." He finished by handing her the coin
Stepping to the next ranger. "Zackary you are energetic and calm you are the joyful leopard." Handing him the new coin.
Ninjor stepped in front of the next ranger. "Trini level headed and bold you are the loyal Tiger." Handing her the new coin.
Ninjor stepped to the next ranger. "William, cunning and swift you are the fierce wolf." Handing him the new coin and stepping to the next ranger.
"Jason, Brave and Resilient you are the mythical Dragon." A quick appearance of shock and guilt covered his face. Ninjor handed him the new coin and stepped in front of the next ranger.
"Katherine, what's wrong? Ninjor asked. I'm a buffalo? No dear Fierce and grounded you are the Bisen." He handed her the power coin and stepped toward the next ranger.
"Tanya, clever and brave. You are the powerful puma." Ninjor handed her the power coin.
Moving for the last time to stand in front of the last three rangers. Looking directly at Adam, "young man why do you look so sad?" Ninjor asked.
"Could I take this one Ninjor?" Asked Dulcea.
"Yes you may explain the rest I must set the portals to send them back quickly." Ninjor answered.
"I'm a frog." He said sadness in his voice. "Yes, a frog like the one you kiss and get a handsome prince, this particular one has courage and strength." Dulcea handed him his new power coin.
Looking next to Kimberly, "Agile and Graceful You are the Beautiful crane, lady of the sky." Handing her the new coin she looked last to the leader
Tommy, "Just and able you are the Mighty Falcon, winged lord of the sky."
"Now I have some things I need to discuss with you about your powers, Starting with Tommy and Kimberly." Dulcea said.
The three of them walked deeper into the jungle.
"There are special abilities with the Ninjetti powers you will learn, first as a team, you will be able to communicate telepathically. Individually you will learn when they appear, lastly there are couple powers for every couple that has or will be formed. You two possess the ability to protect all involved." Dulcea finished.
"What do you mean?" Tommy asked
"You two are expecting a joyful surprise soon, My dear young warriors you both have power to protect the other and the babies will be protected by the powers as well." Dulcea said.
"For how long?" Kimberly and Tommy asked in unison.
"Until your third trimester of your pregnancy." Dulcea stated
"Did you say babies as in more than one?" Tommy asked.
"Yes white ranger you are having more than one and there is a prophecy about all of you. I do need to inform you all of a few things. Let's join the others."
The three of them walked back and rejoined the rest of the team. "Guys listen up, Dulcea has something important to tell us." Tommy announced.
"Please gather round I have to explain a prophecy that concerns you all. There is going to be a time when we will go through this again once a great evil arrives in our solar system. However you won't be fighting alone the next time." She stated
"What do you mean there will be more of us." Jason asked.
"You will be fighting alongside some of the best and brightest minds to touch the power since the eleven of you." She answered
"When the time comes that the prophecy will come true we will meet again, For now as I have explained to the falcon and the crane you will all have special abilities with this new power. individual , and team . plus each couple will have their own power that interacts with the other well when you discover that power your ninjetti suit will change slightly what outline of your animal spirit will change to your partner's color. Now the time has come for you all to return to you Zordon and defend the earth as only the power rangers can. Go and may the power protect you." Ninjor and Dulcea said in unison.
As the rangers walked through the portal, and immediately arrived in the command center.
"RANGERS!" Alpha 5 said surprised.
"Welcome home my young friends, It appears we have some new friends with you welcome my young Purple Puma, and Teal Bison. I see we have some color changes since your return to the power Jason you no longer wear red but now Gold. Zackary formally black now sliver. Trinity once yellow now Orange. Zordon finished. Your new zords will be online soon.
A few moments earlier on the moon.
Blasted rangers! I feel their return but they have grown in numbers. Goldar get in here. Zedd ordered
Goldar entered the throne room, suddenly the palace shook because something crash landed on the moon. Out at the crash site a skeletal monster appeared.
"I really don't appreciate your landing Rito, next time I'm driving" a weird shaped creature said as it stepped up from the crash site.
"Ok Dad are we going to see Rita or not?" Rito asked.
"Yes let's go," his Dad said. The two teleport to the palace. They materialize in the throne and Zedd demands to know who dare enter his throne room unannounced.
"Calm down zeddy" Rita said as she entered the throne room.
"You know these intruders?" He questioned his evil wife.
"Know them, that's Rito Revolto my brother, and that is my father master vile." she replied
Just then Ivan Ooze entered with prixie, "Oh good master vile is here." Ivan said.
"You invited them?" Zedd asked furiously.
"Yes, they can help us with our six multicolored problem." said ooze
"That's all good and dandy but there are eleven of them now." Zedd finished
"Well then our appearance came at the best time, said Rito.
"I bought some gifts for you, Rito, and Goldar take this key and feed this to the tengas we brought for Rita and Zedd."
"We will attack soon?" Ivan asked.
"Yes very soon." Zedd answered.
Back at the command center
"So it's been quiet since we left Zordon?" asked Billy.
"Yes blue ranger all has been quiet." Zordon answered.
"Planning something big I bet, Zordon do our old zords have enough power for one last battle?" Tommy said
"Yes tommy what are you thinking?" Zordon asked.
"If we go into battle using those zords and having Jason, and the others waiting in their ninjazords we could surprise them when they think we have been defeated." Tommy declared
"I agree with Tommy just one slight change, we control them remotely" Billy gave his input on the matter.
"I like the plan and agree with you controlling them remotely." said Zordon
"Why don't we get to work on setting them up for remote use." Billy said
"I'll help you with that." Trini offered, "I'll assist" came Aisha's voice, "I can lend a hand" said Tanya.
"Alright those of us that aren't currently helping Billy will be going through battle strategy." Tommy announced.
"Kimberly would you follow Alpha to get a better figure on how far along you are." Their mentor asked
"Yes Zordon" Kimberly answered then turned to follow Alpha to the medical bay. After getting all hooked up to a machine Alpha ran the test. Once completed the computer printed it out. Alpha took the results and read them to Kimberly.
"You are around 2 months along." Alpha informed the pink ranger
"Ok Alpha why don't we go back with the others." she suggested knowing she should be helping with the battle strategies When they re-enter the center of the power chamber they see everyone working together on the plan that Tommy had come up with and they were just putting the finishing touches on the remote controls for the Thunderzords
"How's it going with the controller piece?" Trini asked.
"Almost just a little bit longer and I should have it, Yes It's fully connected to the zords and the morphing grid." Said Tanya.
"Controller for the Tigerzord finished" said Aisha.
"Nice job Aisha." Said Billy.
"Tommy remote access complete." Trini yelled across the room.
"Great job everyone come over here we are about set with a battle plan." Tommy said in response.
Everyone gathers around the center table they had the battle plans drawn out.
"Hey Tommy do you have a few minutes?" Kimberly asked.
"Yeah we can walk over to the corner and talk." He said
"I'm two months along." Kimberly said when she and Tommy got space to be alone for a few minutes.
"Ok well that gives us another four months before you are out of commission."
"We still need to go see a doctor for all the records and insurance" she explained .
Yes I understand we have to see a doctor, are you sure you should go into battle in your condition?" he asked
"Yes I'm fine, you were there when Dulcea explained that the power would protect me and the baby until my third trimester, after that I will be on the sidelines. Kimberly explained.
Meanwhile back on the moon
Zedd and his new allies were plotting his attack. Goldar, and Rito returned from feeding the tengas their special food.
"Did you two boneheads get the job finished?" Lord Zedd wondered.
"Why certainly Ed." Rito answered.
"It's Zedd, Lord Zedd to the likes of you." he said angrily. "Send down the tengas to draw out those wretched rangers." He ordered.
"Wait Zeddy why don't we plan an attack but send down enough monsters to outnumber and ambush the rangers." Rita wondered to her husband
"That's a fantastic plan Daughter, I Must rest its a long trip from Gama 51 Galaxy." Mastervile said
"Yes daddy let the putties show you to the sleeping quarters." Rita stated
"Well my wicked wife what monsters should we send down?" Zedd asked.
