Without looking away from the Latina, Blaine hissed: "Santana is part demon."

"Strictly speaking, I'm a succubus", Santana Lopez corrected him with narrowed eyes. She put her hands on her hips and threw Kurt a skeptical glance. "But why did you tell a human about our existence, Anderson? That's not allowed, as far as I know."

Before Kurt could open his mouth to protest, Blaine had already stepped one step towards her. "What are you doing here at McKinley, Santana?"

"Living my life, duh", was the snarky answer.

Blaine grabbed her elbow and pulled her closer. "How many guys did you already kill with your powers?", he growled.

"That's none of your fucking business, hobbit", Santana scoffed angrily and ripped her arm away. "Now leave me the hell alone, Lima is my territory."

Kurt cleared his throat loudly. "You still didn't answer my question", he pointed out when the two demons were glaring at him "How do you know each other?"

Santana looked at him disdainfully. "Well, unfortunately, hobbit's oh so great dad is a womanizer, he had a one-night stand and impregnated a human woman who happened to be my mom", she explained shortly. "After I was born, daddy Lucifer dropped me and mom like hot potatoes cause half demons are less worth than his full-time demon-sons." She flipped Blaine off who in turn glared at her.

"If he saw what a slut his daughter had become, he would be ashamed of you", Blaine said angrily "Draining the life essences while having sex with clueless human guys, that's a low blow."

Livid, Santana balled her hands to fists. "Shut the fuck up, hobbit", she growled. "At least, I only weaken those guys, I don't kill them, other than you, my other messed-up 'brother' and my oh-so great daddy, the devil."

Meanwhile, Kurt still needed to process the information he had just learned. "So Satan who turns out to be Lucifer's illegitimate daughter is your half-sister?" He looked downright disturbed about that fact.

Blaine nodded. "Yes, sadly. But in fact, we never met before. Actually, it's the first time we have met in person."

"And how did you know it was her?"

The male demon sighed. "Call it intuition. Demon-siblings have an invisible bond all life long, and it can be a curse sometimes." Both siblings glared at each other in a hostile way until Santana got bored and turned to Kurt.

"Let me guess, Lady Lips over there is your toyboy?"

At that, both, Kurt and Blaine threw her killing glances. "That's the most disturbing assumption I have ever heard before", Kurt finally hissed "No, Blaine decided to live with my family without asking us first. He tried to compel and kill me, my parents and Finn, but I stopped him."

Santana started laughing and Blaine bowed his head in shame. "That's too funny. You, high and mighty demon prince, got stopped by a wretched human?"

"Actually, he is not that human", Blaine defended himself sullenly.

Interested, the succubus looked Kurt up and down. "So you are a monster too? Let me guess: Fairy boy?" She smirked, amused about her own joke.

"Ha ha, I'm dying of laughter", Kurt answered dryly and cocked his eyebrows. "No, actually, I'm a zombie."

Santana stared at him, disbelieving. "You are kidding me, right? As if zombies really existed, Lady."

"Believe me, even I couldn't believe it myself, until I stabbed him, and he didn't die", Blaine told her when they went to their seats as soon as they saw the teacher enter. "Even though I have already seen any kind of monster by now."

When Kurt went to the cafeteria for eating his lunch during lunch break, he met Brittany Pierce on his way who beamed at him.

"Hi, Kurtie", she said nicely.

"Oh, hey, Brittany." Even though he couldn't really call Brittany a friend, she was one of the few people of McKinley that were actually nice to him. He had no idea why Brittany liked him that much, but since the day he had borrowed her a pencil during classes, she had started to greet him every now and then, even though all of her other cheerio friends didn't even look at him (except for Santana who had always insulted his fabulous clothing).

The two of them walked next to each other in silence, and Kurt wondered why exactly Brittany didn't mind being seen with him, one of the least favorite kids at school.

"White boy, wait up!" Mercedes Jones was running after them and joined the two of them. Mercedes was his lab partner so she probably wanted to ask him who among them would hand in the protocol. Just when she was about to open her mouth, Blaine came over to him from the classroom he had just left. He threw Kurt a pleading glance.

"Are you sure I'm not allowed to kill anyone?", he whined "One of those jocks just splashed a slushie into my face, and that sucked. I want to get back at them by letting them burn to death, slowly and painfully."

Kurt needed to laugh a bit. "Congrats, demon, you just got slushied." Kind of funny that not even demons got spared, but to be honest, Kurt was sure that Blaine deserved it.

Mercedes looked at the boys, suddenly cautious. "Did you just say demon?", she asked Kurt warily.

Oh, shoot, he had totally forgotten about the girls next to him. But hey, he didn't know about the existence of demons until yesterday evening, so who said that Brittany and Mercedes would even believe what he told them?

"Well, Blaine is the son of Lucifer", Kurt answered jokingly, expecting that Mercedes would burst into laughter.

"Kurt!", Blaine hissed into his ear "You can't tell humans about us!"

"They won't believe us anyway", Kurt hissed back "I mean, come on, Blaine. This is real life. As if something exciting would ever happen in a lame town like Lima."

Meanwhile, Mercedes had pocketed her phone again and turned to the boys. "Can we talk? At a more private place?"

Kurt and Blaine exchanged confused glances, but Mercedes had already grabbed their elbows dragged them to the next empty classroom, Brittany followed them curiously.

As soon as they had entered, the door behind them was slammed shut by an invisible force.

Kurt sat down onto a table and looked at Mercedes quizzically. "So why did you want to talk to us?"

Instead of answering immediately, Mercedes pulled off her ring from her ring finger, threw the item in the air – which immediately turned into a giant, golden, and sharp scepter. Threatening, she stormed over to Blaine and pointed its sharp end at his throat.

"Ladies, I got him!", she shouted.

Kurt stared at her, shocked, while Brittany clapped her hands in anticipation. What the hell was just happening?

At that moment, the glass of the window suddenly shattered into pieces, and two other girls came jumping in. Kurt yelped.

Wait.

He knew those girls.

The blonde who came closer to Blaine with her hands on her hips was none other than Quinn Fabray, a cheerio.

And the petite brunette was called Rachel Berry, an annoying diva he (and the rest of McKinley) couldn't stand at all.

Since when were the three of them friends? As far as Kurt knew, he had never seen Mercedes, Rachel, and Quinn together before.

But – what was way more important- what were their intentions?

"So it's him?", Rachel asked curiously and eyed Blaine up and down. "That's Lucifer's son?"

"Guilty as charged", Blaine answered with a shrug. He didn't seem fazed that Mercedes was holding a sharp stick to his direction. Instead, he smirked at the three girls. "So what did dad do to you to piss you off like that?"

"You son of a bitch!", Quinn roared, her eyes irises suddenly turned from brown to shiny green when she lifted her hands. The floor started trembling, and Kurt's eyes widened, he needed to hold on to the table so that he didn't fall down.

Rachel, however, shook her head. "Shouldn't we interrogate him first before we kill him?", she asked the blonde.

Mercedes nodded in agreement and withdrew her scepter. "Good argument, Berry."

For a while, Kurt just opened and closed his mouth, unable to form a sentence. "What the hell?!", he eventually exclaimed, staring at the trio, bewildered.

Rachel, Mercedes and Quinn exchanged worried glances. "That human boy saw us use our powers", the petite brunette commented. "How are we going to get rid of him?"

All Kurt could do was stare at the trio. "G…get rid of me? Wait, hang on a mi-"

But Mercedes had already put down her trident and lifted her hand to his direction. All of a sudden, he was struck by lightning that came out of nowhere, and he fell to the floor.

"Well done", Quinn praised her, unfazed by the not moving boy on the ground "And what are we going to do with his dead body?"

Blaine checked his watch. "Wait for it…", he muttered, trying to suppress the amusement in his voice "He will get up again in four, three, t-"

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Kurt reopened his eyes and sat up, looking irritated. "Throwing lightning bolts at innocent people is not nice."

"What. The fuck?" Mercedes gaped at him as if he was an alien, so did Rachel and Quinn "Aren't you…"

"-supposed to be dead? Well, yes." Kurt got up again and brushed nonexistent glint from his blazer. "But it's hard to kill a zombie, so nice try."

Quinn threw him a disbelieving glance. "So you are telling us you are a zombie? Do they even exist?"

Kurt rolled his eyes, annoyed. "Yes, obviously. Now that you tried to kill me, tell me why you bear Blaine's dad a grudge and what you are, that's the very least you could do."

"Fine." Rachel sighed resignedly and took a seat on one of the chairs, so did Quinn and Mercedes who lifted up her scepter which immediately turned back into a small ring she put back onto her finger.

"I'm a siren", the brunette explained slowly, and Kurt cocked his eyebrows in disbelief "Quinn is a nymph and Mercedes is an amazon."

"You are kidding me, right?" Kurt couldn't believe what he just heard. Blaine, however, didn't seem to be that surprised about it.

"Sirens, nymphs and amazons were created by deities, just like us demons who are nothing more than fallen angels", he started explaining to Kurt. "All those four kinds represent one of the four elements: Sirens are water creatures with manipulating voices, nymphs are bound to the earth and the nature, amazons can control the air as well as lightning, and demons are into fire and darkness."

"And no, I'm no mermaid", Rachel added as if she just read Kurt's mind "I can merely control water, but that's all."

Blaine frowned. "But I thought Sirens, nymphs and amazons couldn't stand each other. But the three of you seem to be something like…friends."

At that, the girls shook their heads fervently.

"That's not true, demon", Quinn hissed in a hostile way "We are no friends. We are just working together because we want to get back at what the demons and their leader has done to us. We have one common enemy, that's all."

She glared at him angrily, but Blaine just cocked his head to the side. "And what exactly have we done to you?"

Mercedes crossed her arms disdainfully. "Don't pretend you don't know what we are talking about, you son of a bitch."

"But I don't!" Blaine lifted his hands in surrender. "Dad is never around; he never tells me what he is doing all the time. Believe me, I wish I could take all the credits for what he has done to scum like you, but I have no idea what you are talking about."

"Did you just say scum?", Rachel hissed angrily and balled her hands to fists, the faucet and water bottles in the room started trembling dangerously.

"Rachel!", Mercedes and Quinn reprimanded her at the same time. "Get your act together."

"How could I not know about all that?", Kurt wondered and scratched his head. "And I thought I was something special."

The girls looked at him in interest. "But you are", Quinn said "I have never heard of zombies before in my life."

Brittany who watched their interaction without saying anything, got up from her chair. "Yes. Because it was my first time to create one", she said matter-off-factly while she linked arms with Kurt.

The latter one looked at her, confused. "What?"

"Since when is Brittany in the room?", Quinn asked in the round, alarmed. "I don't want to kill her; she is my friend!", she whined.

Kurt ignored her. "Brittany, what are you talking about?", he asked the blonde insistently.

"Well, when I went for a walk at night a couple of months ago, I saw you lying on the ground, you were bleeding a bit.", Brittany recounted.

"A bit? I got shot right into the heart! I died!", Kurt exclaimed, getting a bad premonition.

"You were always so nice to me, so I decided to help you", Brittany went on "It only took me a couple of spells to turn you into a…what did you say is it called?"

"Zombie?", Blaine helped her out.

"Yes, zombie", Brittany clapped her hands and beamed at Kurt. "I also teleported you home to your bed so that you could recover, so you are welcome." She smiled in the round as if she just declared she found Santa instead of telling them that she actually turned someone dead into a zombie.

For a while, it was dead silent in the room.

"So you are a witch?", Quinn eventually broke the silence.

"Yep", Brittany shrugged as if it was no big deal.

Kurt just stared at her, stunned. "And why didn't you ever tell me you saved my life?"

Again, the blonde shrugged. "I don't know."

"I don't know what to say, Brittany. I'm speechless.", Kurt said weakly. All the months, he had wondered who his lifesaver was even though she had always been close to him. "Thank you so much."

Brittany waved it off. "You were one of the few people that never called me stupid, plus you lent me that beautiful glittery pen I never gave back to you."

Kurt needed to laugh. "No big deal. Other than what you have done for me, Britt. Thanks again." He got up and hugged her.

Just to get hit by a giant fireball that flew to his direction. He yelped and fell to the ground because of the burns on his skin. "Oh my gosh!", he exclaimed irritatedly. "What the hell have I done now to deserve that!?"

"Come off it, Lady", another annoyed voice spoke up from behind. Santana was standing on the doorway with a fireball floating over her palm, horns were on her head and bat-like wings had unfolded fully on her back. "From behind, you looked like a pervert that wanted to grope Britt Britt. Besides, you are a zombie anyway, you cannot die anyway."

"But it still hurts!", Kurt complained gruffly while he felt how his burned skin started healing. Dammit, before Blaine came to his life, everything had been less complicated.

Blaine threw him an amused glance. "Aw, poor, poor Kurt. Do you need some band-aids?"

While he got up, his host brother hissed with narrowed eyes: "Go to hell, Anderson."

"Have already been there", Blaine answered with a shrug, completely ignoring Kurt's killing glance "It's lame, especially because grandma, the Queen of Evil, always cheats at Scrabble."
