A/N: I'm not sure if other writers do this, but I re-re-read Long Awaited and I realized that I had written in the meet and greet that Aro had blue eyes, not grey. So sorry, I guess blue works. Sorry if anyone was confused.
Willa's Point of View
"She's definitely yours alright." Hearing one of them say that I was shocked. "You know I can hear you, right?" Will was getting a kick out of this. Well, you're being weird like you usually are meeting new people. Of course, the extra flourish didn't help. 'Oh, shove it' I told him through my mind. "Right" one of the twins said, "I forgot" the one closest to mom said, "that you were technically half vampire." the two of them said together.
This was insane. Both of them were really in sync, and curiosity was eating me from the inside. Of course, it wasn't my fault both mom and dad were the most curious people besides me that I've ever met. No, I think you might be more so. 'Oh great, this definitely helps.' I sent to him. I didn't want to use my gift on them, it was… invasive to say the least.
As a child I learned to control it. It was hard, but worth it not to be flung into someone's mind every time I make eye contact. Of course, dad had no such luck with his. Maybe you needed to be born with it to keep yourself from having that happen. I still really wanted to know how they did it. Stop it! Your curiosity is getting to me too! I checked the bond, and it was. Sorry will, you know I can't help it.
He sighed aloud and one of the two said "wow, one of them is exactly like you, and the other seems a bit like snape." Snape? Snape! I'm nothing like that guy! He's all down low to the ground, and I'm friendly! I just mentally sighed. Right now, the only part of your personality he's seen is the 'down low' part. I'm not the only one who acts weird when we meet new people.
It was true if there was a new receptionist. We would either just stay away from them for a while, watching. Or introduce ourselves abnormally. We eventually decided that it was better for us to not go that way if we were planning on getting a midnight snack. "Sorry, we're just not good at introducing ourselves. Will starts sulking meeting new people, and I sorrta overexadurate. Also, question. Who is who?"
The both of them looked at each other then back at us "sorry," then the other carried on "no can do." Then again they said together "It wouldn't be as much fun if you didn't have to guess." Mom just rolled her eyes, "this" she said pointing to the one closest to her said. "Is Fred, and the other one is George." The both of them mock gasped, "no fair Rebecca! you could have at least let us have our fun." She shock her head playfully. "The both of you run a joke shop. How could you not have you're fun?"
The one I realized was George shrugged. Looking back at us he walked over and whispered to me "get her in a prank, and I'll let you pick anything you want." Hmm… I whispered back, "good deal, but you might not have wanted to say that in hearing distance of my dad." He shrugged again in an almost 'still' gesture.
"What bad habits are you teaching my kids George?" He walked over to Fred, "none." She just rolled her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose. Dad came over, "go and explore, just stay where we can see you." free reign, yes! Usually were kept inside the tower, or the castle grounds, so this was like freedom. Both me and Will were excited about the prospect of going to Hogwarts. I mean it is a boarding school. It would be the first time not constantly in contact with mom or dad.
I checked the shelves as I walked, looking for something I could use. Some of the stuff had to be activated with magic, so I just skipped those sections. Hey! will any luck yet? The both of us decided to conjoin our efforts. Yes! I found something golden. A cup that doesn't actually spill. You put water in the sections of the cup and pretend like you're going to drench them with it. Hmm… no mess, and it looks like an ordinary everyday object.
You're right, it is golden. Come on, lets go back to mom and prank her. Going back to the area mom was at. She was talking with Fred and George. George, seeing me winked. Mom catching the gesture turned around to see me and will passed me the cup. Oh, it really did look like it was filled with water, but I could see the small sections that held the water. Pretending to trip, I made it look like she was about to get sprayed. Catching myself, I started giggling and will joined in. "You must be getting old or something" Fred said, "it used to take us a invisibility cloak and a party with hundreds of treacle tart," George continued. And then they said together "only for you to guess it was a prank."
The both of them looking at me now, Fred spoke "so, did you choose something you wanted?" oh yes! I did, though pranking mom was definitely reward enough. Me and will had decided what it was we both wanted. Going to get it, I nodded and left to find the shelf will had seen it on. I heard mom say "really Gred and forge? You needed to get my kid into pranking? It's hard enough dealing with Felix."
Coming back with the small cube I said, "I chose this one." Apparently, the cube was hard to solve after you messed up. George nodded seemingly approving of my choice, "that's one of the best sellers in the muggle section. Good choice." Aro looking at the cube questioned "what is that colorful cube?" "it's called a Rubix Cube."
