Charles, Haruka, and Susanna are spotted walking onto the kuoh school grounds as the school day begins. The trio garnered many looks and whispers.

"Kazuhiko-sama looks so handsome~" one girl swoons to her friends.

"Aimi-san is so beautiful!" one guy whispers to his group of friends.

"Is it weird that I wish soga-san would step on me? Just once." one of the boy's friends asks.

"You are one nasty boy; you know that?"

"Ah, Akane-chan is so tiny and cute! I believe she rivals koneko-chan!" a boy swoons.

"That is blasphemed you take that back!" a koneko fanboy snaps.

"Never!" the Akane fanboy crosses his arms.

Susanna rolls her eyes and sighs. "I hate this school," she mutters as every guy, and even some girls, were perverts here.

Charles shakes his head "try not to let it get to you." he says as the whispers continue.

Haruka seems to be in a daze as she remembers what happened a few days earlier.

(flashback: 5 days ago)

Haruka, Charles, and Susanna slept in their apartment when suddenly, a bone-chilling screech rang through the air. It wasn't in their apartment building, but it was close enough that the sound carried to their facility.

There are a fair number of warehouses near their apartment, so it was completely logical that it came from one of those warehouses.

Charles was getting up and putting his clothes on.

Haruka observed him with drowsiness and sighs, "where are you going? It's two-thirty in the morning?"

"I'm going to investigate that noise. It might be nothing, but it sure as hell didn't sound like nothing, so I want to make sure." he puts his shoes on and departs.

Haruka sighed "he's ruining my beauty sleep..." she taps Susanna "wake up, we have to go."

Susanna yawns and slowly opens her eyes "for what exactly?"

"There was a scream, and Charles is going to investigate. We have to go with him to watch his back."

"Did Charles ask for us to go with him?"

"No?"

"Then I'm going back to sleep."

"Fine! Be that way, but if we die, that blood is on your hands!" Haruka whisper yells as she gets dressed and leaves.

Susanna stayed in her futon for a bit before those words rang through her head 'if we die, that blood is on your hands!'

She sighs and gets up, puts a t-shirt on and grabs her shoes, and leaves.

Haruka and Charles are walking through the nearby warehouse District, and eventually, they hear footsteps, and soon both turn around with weapons drawn only to see it's susanna.

"It's nice to see you too. Now please put the weapons down unless you two don't remember we're on the same."

"Very funny. Kind of you to join us, Susanna." Haruka greets.

"So are we close to this place? I want to get back and sleep sooner rather than later," susanna asks.

Charles nods "we are getting close. It should be one of these warehouses here. Three of us will have to check the four individual warehouses in this area we are in."

Haruka and susanna nod and the three split ways and go to open the warehouses. Haruka was across from Charles, and susanna was across from Haruka at another warehouse.

The three opened the individual doors and looked inside, and saw nothing but darkness.

Haruka enters her warehouse and starts to walk around carefully because of the darkness "it's so dark we should've brought a flashlight."

As Haruka continues to walk, soon enough, her foot bumps into something, and she attempts to move it and does, but when her shoe illuminates in moonlight, she saw crimson liquid on her shoe.

Soon enough, the moonlight peered closer to what she had just moved, and she sees a severed head with a look of horror and fear on its face.

Haruka gasps in alarm, and when the moonlight reveals the rest of the scene, her eyes widen. It was a bloodbath; blood painted the walls, entrails were scattered about all over, and dismembered body parts were everywhere.

"Charles! Susanna! Come quickly!"

Charles and susanna heard and came dashing. After a few moments, the duo appears and looks and sees the horrific scene "holy crap! What the hell has happened here?! What monster would do something like this?!" Charles says.

"The Worst kind... Whoever did this seems like they weren't brave enough to stick around after the deed was complete? Some of this blood is dried and old, meaning this is where they usually bring their prey." susanna says.

The trio soon heard something coming from the rafters and turn to get a look, but it's already gone.

"And whatever did this; it is still here." Charles looks around as he uses trace on and creates a sword.

"Form a circle!" Haruka says.

Susanna draws her daggers and looks around, and sees something skittering across the rafters'

Suddenly the unknown enemy drops from the rafters, and as he emerged from the dark, they saw he had the lower body of a spider, but his upper half was human in appearance.

"Hmmm, it looks like three little birds took one hell of a wrong turn; well, I've already had a meal tonight, but I can stand to eat a bit more!" the spider man chuckles sinisterly.

Charles held his sword at the ready and passed another one. He traced to Haruka, and the trio are prepared for battle

The spiderman shot outbursts of lightning from what appeared to circle magic circles, and the trio jumped into the air to avoid the blast, which landed right where they were not only a second ago.

Haruka lands first and jumps up at the spiderman, and swung her sword down onto him.

The spiderman wasn't quick enough to dodge but raised his arm to take the sword strike, and it slashed his arm, causing him to hiss in pain.

As Haruka was heading down towards the floor from the air, the spiderman surprised her and slammed his lower body into her sending her flying across the room into some old crates.

Charles got behind the spiderman and used the element of surprise to impale him with his sword, causing the creature to roar in pain.

Charles, with his sword, dug into the back of the creature. It thrashed around violently to get Charles off, and soon enough, he was flung from his back and into a nearby wall.

Susanna had jumped into the rafters during all the commotion, and when she was right over top of the creature, she jumped down and landed on its shoulders and slices its arm.

The creatures starts backing up at high speed and rams susanna against a nearby wall, and she slides off his shoulders after the impact but recovered soon after the initial crash.

The creature starts to see several Susanna's it was a hallucination "w-what the?! What is this!? Some trick!" the spiderman snaps in anger.

As the creature starts to progress towards susanna, he notices he isn't moving at his top speed. The reason for this is the lethargy was starting to kick in.

Charles and Haruka appear beside susanna "what's happening to him?" Haruka asks.

"It's my semblance; it's called delirium. All I have to do is wound my opponent, and I can send them into a state of delirium."

Charles whistles, "how long does it last?"

"Depends on the person. So we should end this quickly."

Haruka and Charles nod and ready their swords, and the trio charge at the creature, and Charles and Haruka strike low while susanna strikes high.

Susanna drove her daggers into the creature's throat, causing blood to explode out from the wound while Charles and Haruka both slice at the monster's midsection as blood poured out of the monster's mouth.

The monster drops to the ground as his durability kept him alive, but only for the moment as he was hanging on by a thread. The beast was choking on its blood as it continued its futile struggle to stay alive before it finally succumbed to its wounds and died.

"Okay... Does anyone want to explain to me what the hell that thing was?!" Haruka asks, distressed.

"I-i don't know. But we're safe now it's gone. Hopefully, there aren't any more of these things." Charles sighs in relief that the conflict was over.

"Yes, thankfully, it's over, but it reminds me of home. This tonight reminded me of home." susanna says.

"Oh yeah, you said before that you have these creatures called Grimm back in your neck of the woods, right?" Charles looks at susanna.

Susanna nods "yes, but this was unlike any Grimm I've ever seen before. I don't even know if I can call it that."

"Well, whatever the case may be regarding whatever that thing was, it's over now. Let's get back and get some sleep. We have school in the morning." Charles advises.

(present-day)

"Akane? Akane!" Charles calls out to Haruka

"Huh? Yes?"

"Are you okay? You seemed spacey for a second there?" Charles asks, concerned.

Haruka nods "yes, I'm fine, it's nothing." she assures.

Charles nods but is still unsure if she was indeed okay, and he didn't like being in the dark, but he'd have to save the topic for a later time as the three departed to go to their respective classes.

(later: with Seiji)

It was afternoon, and Seiji is walking around campus looking for a nice place to decompress for a bit when he sees the perverted trio. Issei hyoudou, Matsuda, and motohama, if he wasn't mistaken.

However, the perverted trio wasn't what caught his eye. What gained his attention was the perverted trio was with a girl! And a pretty girl at that, that is what piqued his interest. The girl didn't appear to be from their school either she had a school uniform he'd never seen around there before. He wasn't trying to eavesdrop, but they weren't exactly quiet either.

"And guess what, guys, SHE. ASKED. ME." issei says with a cocky grin as he whispers that to his pals.

"WHAT?!" Matsuda gasps in shock.

"Yep! Maybe if you guys stopped hanging with Rosie Palm and her five sisters, you would be able to get a girlfriend too. Come on, yuuma-chan!" issei smiles as he begins to lead his girlfriend away but not before she bows to the hyoudou's friends before leaving.

Seiji whistles, impressed "wow, hyoudou-Kun got a girlfriend? I never thought I would see the day but good for him; I'll have to congratulate him when he has a moment of free time."

(time-skip)

As the school day was ending, Seiji was walking home, and he came across issei and ran up to him "excuse me? Hyoudou-san, do you have a moment?"

Issei turns around and sees Seiji, and he takes a look at his face and nods "yeah, sure. But do I know you from somewhere? You've got a familiar face; I just can't put a name to it."

"I'm Akiyama Seiji. I'm a first-year at kuoh Academy." he introduces himself.

"Oh? Oh! I do know you, or at least I know of you. You're the guy who's often with Kaichou and the others from the student council?"

"That's correct; I'm just the guy they call when they need extra hands on deck. But I know you're probably busy, so that I won't take too much of your time; I'll keep this brief. I just wanted to say congratulations. I happened to hear earlier this morning you got a girlfriend."

Issei, however, did seem to hear the sincerity and immediately starts going on a tirade "oh, here we go again! Look, I know I'm a pervert but don't be jealous that a girl finally sees me for who I truly am and sees my charm! Why can't anyone be-- wait, what?"

Issei looks at Seiji and sees him just listening to his rant.

Seiji chuckles. "I wasn't sarcastic; I was serious. I'm happy for you; congratulations on getting a girlfriend. I hope it works out for you."

Issei's eyes widened. He wasn't expecting such a kind gesture, and the sincerity of the Akiyama floored the hyoudou.

Issei eventually snaps from his stupor and looks at Seiji "um, t-thank you; I appreciate that. If we see each other again, I'll update you on how things went. We're going on our first date this Saturday."

Seiji nods "sure; I would like that. I look forward to hearing your update then; I wish you good luck, hyoudou-san!"

Seiji and issei continue walking in the same direction "are you following me?" issei asks.

"No! No, of course not. I live in this direction. Are you following me?" Seiji retorts.

"No! I also live in this direction!" Issei answers as the two continue walking in the same direction until eventually, they make it to their respective houses. It turns out issei lives across the street from the Akiyama.

"Hey, we're neighbors! I never knew. Well, I guess I'll see you soon, Akiyama." the hyoudou waves and enters his house.

Seiji nods and enters his house. As he enters his house, he calls out, "I'm home!"

"Welcome back, sei! How was your day?" his mother answers from the kitchen.

As Seiji walks to the kitchen, he sees his mother, Akiyama Mayumi, preparing dinner. His mother is around 37 years old but looks younger than that. Mayumi is a slim woman of average height distinguished by her Eastern look: her long, straight and glossy black hair, reaching down to her lower back, while mostly left loose, being parted in the middle of her forehead and sporting two bangs framing her face and going down below her shoulders, her hair is also tied into a pair of bun-shaped Dango loops at both sides of her head, and a braid is present some inches below each of such loops. Her facial make up is reminiscent of that worn by a Japanese "Geisha", with her lips being covered in glossy dark lipstick, and her slanted dark eyes, possessing long eyelashes, being topped by a pair of elongated, diagonal dark spots, seemingly acting as or covering her eyebrows. Her pale figure is considerably curvaceous.

Seiji yawns and sits at the table for a moment "ah, you know, same stuff, different day, just happy to be home."

His father is seated across from him, Izumi hideaki is a tall man, towering over his most people, and is considered to be very attractive by many people. He has white hair that's often spiked up, but Hideaki lets it down when he's in more casual attire. Hideaki has bright blue eyes, but his signature pair of dark sunglasses usually cover them.

"Did you receive any more invitations to the archery club?" Hideaki asks.

"No, I feel like it wouldn't be right for me to be there."

"Why not? You could blow everyone else out of the water. I don't understand it, but I guess I'm not you, so it's not my place to understand it."

Seiji looks at his father. "well, I did talk to someone today."

Hideaki and Mayumi look at each other than at Seiji. "who?" they both ask.

"It was a second-year boy. He's our neighbor; his name is hyoudou issei."

"Wow, our boy is making friends, that's good! We're proud of you!" Hideaki praises.

Seiji smiles and nods "thanks! Well, I'm going up to my room for a bit to decompress."

Seiji leaves the kitchen and goes up to his room, and lays on his bed, and yawns.

Seiji closes his eyes and starts to drift off to sleep but briefly in his mind's eye; he sees a pair of red eyes staring at him, and they continued to look at him, and this wasn't the first time he'd had this dream before these eyes would observe him and never make any move towards him or anything.

Suddenly the eyes start getting closer, which had never happened before, and when it got a bit closer, he pounces toward him, and Seiji jolted awake and took a few deep breaths to steady his heart.

He laid down again 'what is going on with me?'

(time-skip: Saturday: 6:30 P.M.)

Seiji was upstairs in his room on his computer when he heard his mom call out to him.

"Seiji! Come here for a moment, please!"

"Coming!"

Seiji stopped what he was doing and went downstairs to see what his mom needed "yeah, mom?"

"I need you to go to the store and get some rice vinegar. I'm making Chinese food tonight your favorite general tso chicken!"

Seiji's eyes lit up "aww yeah! I'll get right to it then; I'll be back in a bit."

Seiji went outside and got his bike and starts heading to the story; Seiji saw the sun was beginning to set, and it was getting dark.

As Seiji continues biking, he passes the park, and after another ten minutes, he ends up at the store and goes through the isles looking for rice vinegar. It took him a bit, but eventually, he found it.

He went to the register and paid for the item and left the store, and on the way back, his mom called.

"Seiji, are you okay? Are you on the way back?"

"Yeah, sorry, mom, I'm fine. It just took me a bit to find the rice vinegar. I'm on the way now."

"Okay, be careful. It's dark outside. Don't ride in the street and try to stick to the sidewalks."

"Alright, mom, love you bye."

Seiji ended the call and continued riding and came across the park again "hmmm, I can trim a little bit of time off the trip back if I go through the park."

Seiji starts riding through the park, and eventually, he sees the fountain up ahead but sees two people. It looks like a couple Seiji stops his bike and decides to wait for the couple to move on, figuring they couldn't be there long.

Seiji looks out from his hiding spot and sees its issei 'its hyoudou? Why would he bring his girlfriend to the deserted Park?'

Seiji listens, and he hears the girl speak. Her voice sounded as sweet as honey "issei-Kun will you hear my wish?"

"Of course, yuuma-chan."

The girl walks incredibly close to issei and whispers something into his ear, and issei looks visibly shocked and clears his ear.

"I'm sorry, could you repeat that? I don't think I heard you correctly."

"Will you die for me~?" she says in a sickeningly sadistic sweet voice.

Suddenly she backs away from issei and she shredded her clothing and changed into her alternate (and more common) form. In the process of transforming, she grew taller, taking on a more mature appearance, and her eyes changed, taking on a darker, more evil look. Her clothing also changed dramatically, now consisting of black, strap-like objects (resembling leather) around and under her breasts, a thong-like piece held around her hips by three thin straps, gloves that ran right up her arms with small lengths of chains hanging from them, shoulder guard-like objects on her shoulders with three large spikes sprouting from her right shoulder, and black thigh-high heel boots.

Her voice also tumbled to a lower pitch when in this form. This form is best described as a very erotic and revealing version of her disguise.

"Well, I appreciate the date, but now it's time to die. If you want to blame anyone, blame God for putting it in you."

Seiji was stunned and couldn't believe what he saw 'no way! No way! No way! This can't be real!' he shook his head.

Seiji looks and sees a spear of energy appear in her hand, preparing for the kill.

Seiji looks for something he can use to distract her, if the only potential for a moment that will give issei a chance, but his hands were shaking, and his heart felt like it was about to beat out of his chest. He eventually found a stone and picks it up, and takes aim.

Issei couldn't believe what he saw "yuuma, wait!" issei pleads. Just as she's about to end him as he closes his eyes, waiting for the inevitable; it never came as he heard yuuma cry out in pain and saw a stone on the ground near yuuma and some blood drips from her forehead.

"Issei! Run!" he saw Akiyama and issei without needing to be told twice, took the chance, and started to running 'god please if you can hear me, I know we don't talk often, and I'm sorry but please, if you'll allow me to live through the night and beyond I'll be a better person I will be! I will be!'

Raynare growls in rage at the blood dripping from her forehead, and she saw the white-haired boy who ran. She was careless. That wouldn't be a mistake she'd make twice.

She flew off after that. The red dragon would live another day, and she hoped he enjoyed it while it lasted because he was officially living on borrowed time now.

(time-skip)

Seiji biked all the way home without stopping, and he ran right inside and locked the door, and was breathing heavily. He walks into the kitchen and gives his mom the rice vinegar.

"Seiji? What's wrong? You look pale like you've seen a ghost?" Mayumi asks, concerned.

"I'm OK, mom, sorry I took so long. I ran into a friend, and I got sidetracked." he apologizes.

"It's OK. At least I have this rice vinegar now so that I can finish the general tso chicken." she smiles.

"I'm going to go wash up, and I'll be back," Seiji informs and goes upstairs.

Seiji walks into the bathroom and washes his face, and splashes water into his face, and looks in the mirror "there's no way. It can't be. There's no way I saw what I saw. There's nothing logical or reasonable about what I saw." he mutters trying to convince himself.

"Youwitnessed what was in front of you; it was no dream." a feminine voice informs.

Seiji hears the voice, and it was coming from inside his head? And it wasn't his inner thoughts. He knew this was something else entirely.

"Are there other voices in my head too?"

"No. I'm the only one my time is limited, so I'll keep this brief. My name is Raizel, and needless to say, I've been watching you for a long time, and I'm going to tell you after tonight, life as you know it will cease to exist; you are no longer just normal. It's the beginning of a long journey for you and me. I'll explain more when the time is right. Just remember what I've said to you this night." Raizel cautions as she cuts the link.

"Hello? Hello?! Raizel?"

Seiji leans against the bathroom wall. "This is too much to take in all at once."

He sits there for what feels like an eternity and hugs his knees to his chest, just trying to make sense of it all.

Those words echoed through his head 'life as you know it will cease to exist..'

"Ugh... I hope this is all just a dream that I wake up from real soon," he mutters and gets off the floor.

"Seiji! Dinner is ready!" Mayumi calls out.

"Coming!" he looks at himself one final time and takes a deep breath before turning off the light and leaving the bathroom.

So I apologize for the long wait you see during April. One of my best friends was getting married, and I was one of the groomsmen at his wedding, so I was busy the whole month, and I finally got around to writing this chapter. So I hope you all enjoy it.
