two of my in game guardians have been through destiny 2 forsaken and shadowkeep, all other expansion campaigns mentioned will be mentioned with different guardians so they can be you or someone you know but in this story canon-ly wise 2 of my guardians have done forsaken and Shadowkeep for the plots sake please hold no ill will against me and continue with the story. Hope you enjoy it.

A week before the attack in the courtyard in another solar system

Fireteam camelot consisted of 3 members as traditional, the leader was Merlyn-66 a blue exo male with fins on the side of his head with fins pointed up and backwards, he has one red paint or blood splotch over his left eye, speaking of which his eyes were pink and his mouth lit up red when he spoke. He was the teams warlock and was mostly a stormcaller but did revert to sundancer, Shadebinder and voidwalker, for attire he wore a storm dancers brace robe, the aeon soul gloves, the Verities brow helmet, the Legatus boots and the celestial band all with the throne of soot shader.

Merlyn's ghost had the scarlet swarm shell and's name was Shrill due to the fact that Hive made a shrill noise and he had hive skin on his shell, Merlyn had gone on many adventures but his most famous was when he had entered the pyramid on the moon and first made contact with the darkness he was also one of the first guardians to begin using stasis not the very first but he had to do some training after another guardian defeated Eramis of the dark kells. Now Guardians could use darkness as they pleased

Then there was Pendulum Dragoon aka Pendragon, an unusual name but when he woke up in an office chair from his first life there was a pendulum swing on his desk and a book about arthur pendragon and the knights of the round table, his first and favorite weapons was a sword but he was the hunter of the group and didn't really have a set class but he did prefer to use gunslinger, mainly the Way of a thousand cuts to live up to his nickname 'the dragon of the reef'.

He was a white human male with a ponytail in his hair and for attire he wore the holdfast helmet, red moon phantom vest, holdfast strides and cloak of five full moons, what made him a bit unique was that his left harm had the Khepri's Sting gauntlet and the right had the Mechaneer's Tricksleeves gauntlets.

all with Metro shift shaders except for the red moon phantom vest with the Frumious blue and the Mechaneer's TrickSleeve/Khepri's Sting with the ancient republic shader. His ghost had the Digital cortex shell which was how he got his name cableeye and projected the beastly projection also to help Pendragon live up to his name.

The final member was Gailundra/Gail/Galahad, one of the new generation of iron lords after another guardian helped Lord Saladin defeat the warmind Siva during the rise of iron expansion, she along with 8 others had proven that they were worthy of being iron lords. She was an awoken with dark pink hair, fiery orange eyes and pink awoken symbol on her forehead down to her nose as an iron lord she often wield the hammer of sol from the subclass of the sunbreakers but she often did us sentinel ability when she could get away with it which was often.

She wore the One eyed mask helmet, Greaves and gauntlets with the Praefectus mark and celestial plate all with the mercurian sunrise color scheme, even her ghost had a warrior demeanor with its challenger shell with the Testudo color scheme, hence his name Enyo named after a goddess of war.

Each one of them were Flying in their retrospective ships in hyperspace towards Nessus, there was a Cabal, Vex and Taken occurrence going on, in a new lost sector apparently, "so how come the Taken are on Nessus they don't normally go there?" Pendragon asked from his ship the 'Silverwing Kestrel', "i don't know but we can win all the same" Galahad replied confidently from her ship the 'Asher Mir's one-way ticket', "you can always count on an Iron Lord to boost morale and piece" Merlyn sarcastically said from his ship the Buckthorn approach.

"Morale yes Piece no an iron lord is suppose to deal in conflict" Galahad replied, "by the way Pendragon have you asked Petra on a date yet" Enyo asked smuggly, Pendragon gafauded, "i'm-ah- you know i'm interested in her we are just friends" Pendragon protested, through the coms Apollo chuckled and Galahad scoffed. "as fun as this banter is to hear we are gonna have to focus if the Taken are here who knows what will happen" Merlyn interrupted before any more arguing could commence, "nothing good i'm willing to bet" Said a voice from the coms, it was the Crow one of the newer additions to the tower and current apprentice to Osiris.

"What have you got Crow?" Pendragon asked, "red Legion rogue's is what i've got, who knows why they are there but it can't be good"Crow replied, the fireteam exited Hyperspace and flew towards the planet, "okay Fireteam camelot prepare to transmat down to the surface" Merlyn said. When they transmatted to the surface of Nesis they each summoned their Sparrows and followed the marker on their hubs. Galahad had the 'residue trace' sparrow, Merlyn had the 'Regal Howl' sparrow and Pendragon had the 'Otherside' sparrow.

"Where nearing the new lost sector" Shrill said through the coms, "good show the cabal and Taken that the light will not be taken so easily" said a new voice, it was the voice of iron Lord Saladin through the coms, "we will lord saladin" Galahad said. They arrived at the entrance and got out their weapons, Pendragon pulled out the 'Riskrunner', Galahad brought out her 'skyburners oath' and Merlyn fired his 'No time to explain'.

After a few bursts from his pulse rifle Merlyn's weapon summoned an orb to help kill Cabal and Vex as the progress through familiar tunnels on Nessus, "on the Left" Merlyn called to Galahad who through a sol hammer at the sneaker vex goblin, killing it then bounced back to Galahad who continued firing her Skyburners oath.

Pendragons Riskrunner charged up and eventually started to create electric chains that darted between cabal and Vex, he through a knife at a cheeky hobgoblin that had attempted to snipe him from a platform, then through a void grenade at a group of three minotaur vex. He then jumped up onto the platform and unsheathed his Black talon sword from his back and sent a crescent void wave at a Cabal legionnaire, then blocked 2 shots from Psions.

He used the hunter dodged ability to get close and slash then both with his sword, he then jumped down from the platform and shot a vex with his Ticcuu's divination, who tried to sneak up on Merlyn, Merlyn in term fired his Ruinous effigy, turning it into a void sphere. Merlyn then grabbed the sphere and slammed it on the ground near a group of Cabal and Vex, disintegrating them entirely, "nice move" Pendragon said to Merlyn.

However the 2 were then back to back trying to fend off a bunch of vex and Cabal, then Galahad jumped down from the same podium, landing in between the 2 and summoned a dome shield, "nice work Galahad" Merlyn said lowering his trace rifle slightly. "I always have to save your ass, don't i" Galahad said sarcastically, "not the time we need a plan" Pendragon said, the others agreed.

Meanwhile the vex and Cabal were fighting each other, "wait Pendragon you have a smoke grenade ready?" Merlyn asked, "what are you-oh" Shrill asked then realised, Pendragon threw the grenade down and they all disappeared when they were enveloped in the smoke, now they were invisible. Galahad swapped her skyburners oath to her sweet business, and got into a position where she could use it to it's proper effect, she decloaked her invisibility, immediately catching the attention of the Cabal of the vex who stopped firing at each other.

When they turned to Galahad she wired the rotating barrel of her auto rifle and began spraying from left to right and right to left killing Cabal and Vex by the batch, some smart Cabal took cover behind shields. However Merlyn and Pendragon snuck up behind them and shot them. Soon there were no Cabal or Vex left to shoot, "okay that's all of them" Cable eye said, "good can we get moving now?" Enyo asked, "I agree we need to see what they were doing here" Galahad said.

Up above a sneaky Psion was pointing his barrel at Merlyn's head but a sword through his chest prevented him from doing that, fireteam Camelot looked up to see the Crow standing as the Psion fell, he jumped down to meet them, he was a hunter like Pendragon only with a different outfit and color scheme his ghost, Glint came out, "nice to see you all again" he said cheerfully.

"And you, both of you" Merlyn said, "what brings you here Crow" Pendragon asked, "to help, Ikora sent me with Eris and I think she's found what the Cabal and Vex were here for," the Crow said.

They descended down tracking Eris morn's signal, along the way Crow slowed down to talk to Pendragon, "hey ah can i ask you something" he asked, "go ahead" Pendragon said, "why accept me after what i did to your friend?" Crow asked cautiously, Pendragon took a moment to answer, Cayde-6 was the first person Pendragon met when he was first revived to be a guardian, Cayde had been received around the same time, they both traveled to the city together and helped build it.

Crow used to be Uldren sov the man who murdered cayde and Pendragon had put him in the ground but Crow was an entirely different person, "because Cayde wouldn't have wanted me to keep a grudge against a dead man" Pendragon said after a moment, the Crow smiled under his mask, fireteam camelot were some of the few guardian fireteams who knew who the crow really was.

Pendragon was a little worried about how Crow and Amanda's relationship would work out however if Amanda ever found out about who was under Crow's mask, "we're here" Shrill called out, fireteam camelot stared in amazement at what was in the large cavern before them, Eris lay dead ahead and their she was staring at a pyramid, one that belonged to the darkness.

"How long has that Pyramid been here Eris?" Merlyn asked his fellow warlock as they got close enough, "who knows how long, but this Pyramid has something special in it" Eris replied, "what's so special about it" Shrill asked, "the nightmares have been speaking to me, they told me to come here, after i told Ikora" Eris replied, "okay what's going on" Merlyn asked, "and i want straight to the point".

The other members of Fireteam camelot hung back and looked around, "what do you think they actually look like?" Galahad asked, "I don't know but we'll find out one day" Crow replied. "It's odd" Apollia stated, "it's almost as if the darkness is absent from this ship" Cableye added.

"There's a, what inside?" Merlyn asked dumbfounded, "a vex portal and 2 dead ghost" Eris replied, "go venture inside and see for yourself",Eris summoned a portal using hive magic Merlyn nodded and jumped through the portal, "where's he going" Pendragon asked Eris, "to help fulfill a prophecy" Eris replied.

Inside the Pyramid

Merlyn was amazed by how much the inside of the pyramid reminded him of the infinite forest, but their was still hints of the main architecture he had seen in his first pyramid on the moon, there was a vex portal up some stairs as well as a monitor, Shrill began scanning as they went up the stairs. Whoever had been there had been busy obviously, "it feels abandoned" Shrill commented, "no spirits haunting your mind" Merlyn asked sarcastically, "ha ha" Shrill said in reply.

There was a console next to the vex portal, his eyes widened and his jaw dropped, it was a whole new world, or rather an old one, one that had it's timelines tampered with by unknown forces, according to the history files one timeline of the planet had been destroyed and replaced by a new one. Unsurprisingly that seemed possible considering the amount of vex tech in the pyramid, that's when he saw them, the ghosts that Eris had talked about.

One was magenta with balck and white detailing, the shell itself had 2 fines coming from the side, the other was white had at least 5 head spikes pointing up 2 other spikes pointed upwards like ears between 2 on each side, the spikes were Blunt so no risk of being hurt.

"What do you think?" Merlyn asked shrill taking out his trace rifle, we take the ghosts and head back to Eris and decide what to do then, "Eris bring us back" Merlyn said through the coms, a hive portal appeared behind them, Merlyn put the ghosts in his inventory and they jumped through the portal.

Back with Camelot, Crow and Eris

Merlyn landed next to Eris, "did you find them" Pendragon asked, "yes" Merlyn replied holding up the 2 ghosts, "who do they belong to?" Enyo asked, "no one so far as we know now, they haven't found their guardians yet" Shrill answered, "show me what else you found in their" Eris said to shrill. "If those ghosts are dead then we need to get them back up and running" Pendragon said.

"Then we need to head to the Shard in the european dead zone" Crow added, "we should report to Zavala first" Galahad argued, meanwhile Eris's three green eyes were looking at the information Shrill had obtained from the monitor inside the pyramid, she recognized the planet she even stepped foot on it herself. "Head back to the helm all of you" she suddenly ordered, Camelto looked at her surprised, "this is important, i'll contact Zavala, Ikora, Osiris and Saint-14".

"Saint-14?" Galahad questions, "just go and all shall be explained" Eris said hurriedly, Camelot and crow decided not to argue and left.

A few hours later at the helm

"Why have i been summoned again?" Saint-14 asked, annoyed that he had been called to a meeting rather than encouraging guardians in the trails, Zavala, Ikora, Saint-14 and Osiris had been told about the pyramid and portal on nessus and the files on something "because Eris said this 'urgent' involves both of us" Osiris said air quoting on urgent. "Indeed it is unusual," Zavala agreed. It was then that Crow, Merlyn, Galahad, Pendragon, Eris and the ghosts transmitted into the HELM. "Good to see you again fireteam" Zavala said, "especially you pendragon" Pendragon nodded gratefully. "Good to see you fellow warlock" Merlyn said to Ikora, "good to see you too Merlyn" Ikora greeted back, "now tell us why did you call us all here for?" Osiris asked, "and make it quick i'm losing time with the Trails while i'm here and drifter isn't the type for subtle encouragement" Saint added.

"It involves this" Eris said handing a tablet to Osiris, Osiris immediately recognized what the tablet said, "saint come have a look", Saint marched from one side of the war table to Osiris ad looked at the tablet, "it-it can't be" said in astonishment, "but it is" Ikora said reading over Saint's shoulder, "what is?" Zavala asked suspiciously, Osiris sighed, "long ago i had a son" he said ead low, Camelot gasped, Crow eyes widened and he looked at Glint in amazement, Zavala hand went to his chin fascinated in spite of himself, "he was born of the travel and i raised him in the infinite forest after a while i hid him on the future on this planet, 200 years later and destroyed the portal in the forest to keep him safe" tears formed in Osiris eyes.

"And it appears that this planets timeline has been replaced more than once according to these files you found in that pyramid, whoever this pyramid belonged to was doing a lot of research on this planet even willing watch over it in the infinite forest" Ikora said, "we need to find him if their i a chance then we have to find him" Saint said in urgency. "but how? i thought Mercury disappeared when the darkness arrived" Crow asked, pendragon silently "vex simulations become reality after a while someone must have figured a way to use that to their advantage who i can't be sure" Pendragon replied in a whisper.

"We may not be able to find your son yet Osiris but we can send scouts to explore this Planet" Zavala said, "i volunteer sir" Merlyn popped up, "me and my fireteam" "good i'll send Saint and osiris with you they have a right to" Zavala replied, "am me sir" Crow piped up, "Osiris has done alot for me i be more than willing to come". Zavala couldn't argue with his decision. Crow had saved his life at the risk of his identity before, Zavala nodded and the group left.

Eris still had more to say, "I didn't tell them but, the nightmare has been whispering, the time of the Silver light is upon us and the prophecy shall be fulfilled", Zavala and Ikora gave worried looks to each other.
