Chapter 2: The birthday party
6 year old Mal watched from her balcony as she saw a blue haired girl having fun. Below, she could see other kids. All screaming, laughing, joking.
Mal pouted, turning away, sulking. She wasn't invited to the party. It wasn't fair. Her half-sister was invited, why wasn't she?
"MOTHER!" shouted Mal. "They're having a party and I wasn't invited!"
Sound familiar?
Yes, it was just like Sleeping Beauty all over again.
Maleficent stood upon the balcony of the bazaar. The sky started to turn darker, rain, thunder and lightning pouring onto the guests below. Sunset looked up, with her 3 friends, Uma, Harry and Gil. They gasped, as Maleficent stood there.
"THIS PARTY IS CANCELLED!" boomed Maleficent. "AND EVIL QUEEN AND HER DAUGHTER, YOU WILL BE BANISHED FOR ETERNITY!"
Uma gasped. "She can't." muttered Uma. "Cruel."
As the guests started to leave, Sunset looked up at the bazaar.
"Mother." she thought. "Crap. Why does mom have to ruin everything?"
