TW: Bakugos potty mouth

"Kacchan, what is it?" Izuku looked at the blonde speaking with a worried tone.

"You know what, never mind it was stupid..." Bakugo let his arms go off the smaller boy and started walking away again.

"Wait!" Izuku launched forwards grabbing Katsuki's hand. "Tell me."

Bakugo stood there in surprise. "It really doesn't matter, just drop it nerd," the taller boy trying to break free of the greenettes grip.

"No," Izuku tightened his grip, staring into crimson eyes with force. "If we're going to try again then we need to start somewhere."

The confidence in Midoriyas voice sent chills down Katsukis spine. "Tch, you don't give up do you."

Izuku's face lightened up thrilled with the response and loosening his hand so he was holding Bakugos. "It's my one strong point, ha."

"I know after all I've done and said to you that it's stupid to think that this could be real...in fact sometimes it seems insane that I-I could ever...l-li..ke you..."

Silence was the only thing that could be heard. Katsuki was too scared to look Izuku in the eye, knowing that he would be disgusted by the words that just came out of the blondes mouth. But he forced his eyes to look into green.

Izuku was frozen still holding Bakugos hand, his eyes glued to a crimson gaze. Izuku didn't know what to feel; happy, angry, scared, confused. He felt it all. Sure he himself has always liked the taller boy but he didn't realise till then that those feelings were reciprocated.

10 or so seconds of silence flowed between the two, never losing the sight of the others eyes until Izuku dared to look away. "Kacchan... are you joking?"

"Why would you think I was joking, nerd! I wouldn't just say something like that then start joking about it!" Bakugo flared up annoyed with the response that he got. Not that he was mad at not having a proper response from the boy he bullied for half his life but because Izuku didn't take him seriously.

"I just never thought you'd be the one to admit first." Izuku still had his eyes down but still holding onto the other boys hand.

"Admit...first?"

Oh. No.

"W-wait I-I... that w-wasn't meant to c-come out I-I!" Izuku stammered the words out of his mouth cursing his brain for saying it. But at the same time...

"You...like me?" Bakugo spoke softly as if he wasn't believing what was happening. His body shook very slightly as he tried to take a step forward.

"Yes- I mean n-no... well yes- but I wasn't meant to s-say it!"

Bakugo took another step forward so their bodies were incredibly close and only a breath of air between their faces. Redness rose up Izukus face invading his freckles. "K-Kacchan?"

"Izuku...Unfortunately I like you. I don't know how, but I do. Are we going to do anything with this?" Bakugo stared into the green eyes of the boy shaking underneath him.

"Kac-Katsuki...are you sure we want to do this? There's no going back, we can't just be 'friends' again." Izuku held his breath waiting for the response of the other teenager.

"I'll give it a try."

Katsuki pressed soft lips to the other boys mouth, running his fingers through soft green curls. Izuku's knees shook beneath him as he was encapsulated in a warmth he hadn't felt in years when they were just friends going of adventures. He leaned into the kiss wrapping his arm around Katsuki's waist. They both felt their hearts throb with a feeling they wanted more of, praying that the moment lasts forever.

Second felt like minutes until Izuku slowly pulled away drawing air into his lungs as he did. Their gazes met, faces still close and cheeks still flushed with red.

"Thank you for trying Kacchan." The greenette said as he pushed another soft peck into the blondes cheek, smiling like the world was butterflies as he did so.

"Thanks for forgiving me." Katsuki smiles softly back hugging the smaller again.

After a while in each others embrace, they linked hands and began walking to Midoriyas house. "Would you like to stay for dinner tonight, Kacchan?" Izuku asked, "We can see if Auntie wants to come too."

"That'd be nice, I'll check with the old hag." Bakugo focused his eyes on Izuku as he spoke.

"You really should stop calling Auntie an old hag, she's actually very young." Izuku giggled at his comment.

"Ha, sure sure."

Stars were already coming out into the sky as the two walked the quiet road back to Izuku's.

AN: Thanks for reading! This one is a bit longer but it's still something I'll need to work on. I might do a part two with the dinner with the four of them.
