Rest assured, I have NOT abandoned Class 1-A Watches The Incredibles, I am continuing to work on it. It's just that I underestimated how bloody exhausting it is to come up with at least 20 different personalities and have them react in ways that don't come off as OOC. It's slow going, but kinda fun.
And now, to make one thing clear, I do not begrudge catspat31 for warning me. The story was on the list of Reportable Content before I'd edited it, believe me, I checked. I might not enjoy the copyright rule one bit, but I respect it and honestly, this is Disney we're talking about. Who knows who might end up finding this story one day? And sure, most react-fics are ignored, but I can remember at least one story (RWBY Watches Batman Arkham, if I recall correctly) that was doing pretty well, up until it was gone and the author had to make a new account just to explain what had happened. So, it CAN happen, and I don't want to have the rotten luck of it happening to me.
On that note, please stop hounding me over my choice to remove the dialogue and please stop hounding catspat31 about his warning. I don't want my story to become a place where people just yell about screwing copyright and all that other stuff. If you are unwilling to concede to my honest plea, then there might be a problem.
Because I am writing Class 1-A Watches The Incredibles for my own pleasure, because I love the movie and I love the characters watching it. Editing the dialogue out hampered my fun somewhat, I'll admit, but I still enjoy it. What I DON'T enjoy is being called weak or a loser or whatever else you guys like to throw in my face. Heck, I might just scrap this whole thing and take what I already posted off . I've gotten into a good number of fights with asshole bullies who just didn't stop bothering me until I reached my breaking point. I honestly hope you guys know better.
So. At the risk of repeating myself: I. HAVE. NOT. FORGOTTEN. THIS. STORY. Capito? Honestly, is it too much to ask for a little civility these days on the Internet?
