As I walked into the restaurant, I was nervous and uncomfortable. I was wearing a suit three sizes too small and I was cold. It was in the middle of winter and the tux just wasn't enough to keep me warm. I wasn't usually this nervous when it came to looking for opportunities but this was different. When I looked around, I didn't see the Israeli beauty anywhere. Which gave me an opportunity for me to tress myself up in the bathroom. I walked up to the counter and asked for my booking. There stood a sweet, young, blonde lady behind the counter. If it had been any other situation, I would have talked her up.

"Table for one please." I requested.

"Your name sir?" She asked sweetly.

"DiNozzo." I answered.

She typed something on her computer and nodded.

"Right this way sir." She gestured for me to follow.

She led me to a small table. It had a pure white, silk table cloth on it. The plates, bowls, cutlery of all different shapes and sizes were set neatly together. The susen was shined and cleaned. There was not a smudge in sight. The waiter put an iron bucket filled with ice and there was a bottle of wine inside. There was no way I was going to drink that, I was way too cold.

When all the waiters and waitresses left me alone, I excused myself to go to the bathroom. I splashed my face, fixed my hair and straightened my outfit. I came out five minutes later. When I sat down, I saw her walk in. She looked even better in person than on the drivers license. She was wearing a beautiful green dress that flowed all the way down to the ground. There was a slit going up the sides all the way up to her thighs. She had tall, black ribbon heels. Her hair was done in a fancy, posh updo. She had a full face of heavy make up. Her olive skin glowed luminously and she most definitely spent some time in the sun. She asked for her seat. That same lady that led me to my seat, led her to hers. By some miracle, she was seated just a table away from me. She sat in her chair and sighed. After the waitresses greeted her and fixed her table, she got up to go to the bathroom. I took the opportunity and I did the same. I walked fast and pretended I wasn't watching where I was going. My body crashed head on into hers.

"Oh!" We both exclaimed at the same time.

"I am so sorry. I can be very reckless at times." She apologised.

"No. I'm sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going."

"No it was my fault I was-" She tried to take the blame but I stopped her.

"Don't worry about it." I assured.

We nodded at each other and went our separate ways.

I stood at the mirror, correcting my hair for the third time of the night. When I thought the time was right, I exited the bathroom. By the time I reached my seat, she was already back at her chair. She was still alone, browsing the menu. I took my oppertunity and slowly made my way up to her table.

I stood in front of her and waited to be noticed. She answered me without even looking up from the menu.

"Can I help you?" She asked kindly.

"It's depressing to sit alone." I commented. She finally looked up at me.

"Is that so? How do you know that I am not waiting for someone?" She asked smartly.

I did not think that through. But thinking and flipping through all the movies I could think of. I came up with something credible. Well at least I thought so at the time.

"Well. You're looking through the menu. Usually people like to order their food when everyone attending is present." I said. It didn't sound as good as it did in my head.

"How do you know I am not looking through the menu just to see what they have?" She asked in the same tone as the last.

"I don't. However, I do know that you are eating alone." I realised something that I should have noticed earlier.

"And how might you know that?" She leaned in towards me, I was using all my willpower not to stare at her cleavage.

"There's only one chair."

She narrowed her eyes at me,

"Mind if I join you?" I said out of nowhere. It was just a question I needed to ask as quickly as possible. She paused for a minute. I thought for sure she was going to say no…
