❝In a land far, far away, lies the Kingdom of Fiore, a small peaceful nation of 17 million, and a place filled with magic. Found in every home, bought and sold in every marketplace. For most, magic is merely a tool, a mundane part of everyday life. For some, however, magic is an art, and they have devoted their lives to its practice. These are the mages. Banded together into magical guilds they apply their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore.
But there is a certain guild in a certain town that soars high above the rest, one from which countless legends have been born... a guild that will no doubt continue to create legends well into the future. It's name... is Fairy Tail.❞
{3rd P.O.V}
TAKING A DEEP BREATH, Lucy Heartfilia brought one hand up with her left palm outstretched towards the tree that held the wooden dart board, otherwise known as the target, and closed her eyes, concentrating all her magic energy into her left palm, feeling it drift in strongly as her whole left arm glowed a golden colour. Then, a golden magical circle appearing in her eyes after she had opened them smoothly, she switched arms, watching as the golden current of magic flowed into her right arm.
She switched between the both of her arms, allowing the power to surge through her whole body which took a whole lot of concentration and strength as the magic continued to flow, quickening the currents until it swirled to her back, a pair of pure white angel-like wings forming on her back, ripping her clothes slightly where two wings had sprouted from. Flapping the wings on her back slightly, she leaped into the air, taking off in a flight as she spread her arms, soaring through the sky like a bird.
Lucy soared past the target, stretching her left palm again and directed a current of magic into a tight ball filled with golden light. It floated in her left palm, but once she threw the ball of celestial light at the target, it flew with speed and accuracy, hitting the target directly in bullseye which was her third shot. The board had already been destroyed, but now it was destroyed again, exploding on impact.
A loud beeping sound alerted her that it was time to stop training and to head over to Fairy Tail where Master had something to say. She deactivated her wings and instead brought out a gold and black key which had the symbol of a Chinese dragon on the handle, beginning to chant the usual lines to bring forth the chosen Celestial Spirit, "Open! Gate of the Dragon! Draco!" She shouted, having already begun to run out of the forest she found solace and comfort in.
"Lucy-Sama, you called...?" Draco, the constellation of the dragon, asked in a kind yet wise tone of voice which soothed her. She quickened her pace, leaping onto Draco's back, her hands holding onto the majestic mane floating around his head. He flew quickly out of the trees and above the clouds, his magnificent tail powering him up.
"Hai. I'm in a bit of a hurry, Draco-San as Master-San has something he wants to say and I have this gut feeling to not use too much of my magic power in case he requests for a small group to fight off dark guilds. I was wondering on whether you could take me to the guild hall? And, I may need a ride there, if you also don't mind." Lucy explained, out of breath, as the air around her condensed, her magic sucking up all the ethernano in the air. Her magic was restored, almost instantly.
"Very well, I shall escort you to the guild hall of Fairy Tail." Draco replied, gaining speed as he sped towards the town of Magnolia, landing right in front of the wooden guild hall doors, and allowed her to hop off his back, disappearing into thin air, leaving her to dash to into the guild hall and quickly sit down in front of Mirajane Strauss, who handed her a glass of strawberry milkshake.
"Ohayo, Mira-San." Lucy greeted, a small smile present on her face as she took a sip of her strawberry milkshake. Mirajane just smiled, grasping a glass in her hands, beginning to clean it with a tea towel, nodding her head towards where the Master had just appeared, a stern expression upon his face as he clapped his hands for attention. "Master-San...? Is there bad news from the Magic Council?"
"Well, they want us to participate in an alliance between several Light Guilds. I have already chosen the four who will represent us as a Guild. Lucy, Natsu, Erza, Gray. You will be the four to represent us, is that understood? No fighting will be heard of, Gray, Natsu...?" Master asked, glaring in the direction of Natsu and Gray, who were both in the midst of strangling one another. They both turned around to face him, and nodded, gulping.
"Sumimasen... But who are Natsu, Gray and Erza...?" Lucy asked, tilting her head to the side as she wondered aloud. Everyone in the guild hall turned to face her, their jaws dropping at her question which seemed bizarre in their minds since everyone in the Fairy Tail guild knew who Erza, Gray and Natsu was, even the citizens. Mira pointed them out, and she nodded, standing up and bowing in a perfect 90° angle, catching the three of them by surprise. "I look forward to working with you, Erza-San, Natsu-San, Gray-San."
"... No need to be so serious!" Natsu grinned, slapping her on the back, which made Lucy jump in surprise. "We're family, right?! Though, I was disappointed that you didn't know who we were... Oh well, Ice Princess, stop gawking at Luigi and fight me!" Natsu turned his attention back to Gray, who was indeed staring at Lucy in shock as well as Erza but for completely different reasons.
"Ano, my name is Lucy. L-U-C-Y... Please get your pronunciation correct, after all, my name is quite simple to spell and say." Lucy spoke, staring straight at Natsu, who stared right back, confused by what she meant.
"You're known as Zorya, are you not?" Erza asked, not beating around the bush but straight to the point. Lucy nodded, a little surprised that someone knew her and the title that some people nearby had named her during a fierce fight with a dark mage who was particularly powerful. "Then, it is an honour to work with someone as powerful as yourself. I am surprised that I have not seen you around before. I truly apologise."
"No, please do not apologise. I sealed my presence away for I do not like the attention of people, but today was an exception since Master-San had something important to announce. May I suggest we leave to pack the luggage that we need, and meet back in around 30 minutes to travel to the Meeting of the Light guilds?" Lucy replied, straightening her back and already walking out of the guild hall when Master called her back.
"You will be fighting one of the Dark Guilds of the Balam Alliance. Are you prepared for the outcome of a possible war?" Master asked, concerned. Lucy faced him, her eyes serious as she cracked a few muscles in her neck, already itching for a fight.
"Hai, I am ready for the outcome of a war if the situation should arise. I am sure the others may agree, so please be assured that we will do our best to defeat this Dark guild. Ja ne, Fairy Tail-San, Master-San, Mira-San." Lucy waved a swift goodbye before taking out a purely pink key and swishing it down. "Open! Gate of the Portal! Celestial Realm!" A loud bell rang, a bright flash of light appearing, engulfing the blonde until it faded, the blonde nowhere in sight.
"... EH?!"
"Okaerinasai~" Several Celestial Maids bowed, welcoming her back to her house in which she stayed with permission from the Celestial King himself, of course. They led her towards the Dining Room where a plate of steaming Takoyaki lay smack bang in the middle of the table which was decorated with Lavender-scented candles and silverware.
"Itadakimasu~" Lucy said, sitting down as the luggage she would need was carried down by the maids. They left her to eat, respectfully bowing as the left. She grasped a fork in her right hand, spearing one of the Takoyaki and placing it in her lips, biting into the warm and delicious delicacy that seemed to melt in her mouth on impact.

The five of them, including Happy the exceed, had boarded the train, their luggage already in the baggage compartment and their seats picked out, Natsu hanging out of the window as he tried to hold in his vomit, his face turning a bright blue colour for some reason. Lucy sat beside Gray with Erza directly opposite and Natsu sat beside Erza, opposite of Gray, who was snickering yet groaning at his weakness of vehicles, which he thought, no knew, is pathetic.
"If I may, may I ask what magic each of you have...?" Lucy asked curiously, settling down in her seat for the long train ride ahead.
"Ah, that is a good question, Lucy." Erza smiled, answering after she had punched Natsu in the gut, knocking him out in an instant. "Many have called me 'Titania', Queen of the Fairies and though I'm not sure why, I am honoured." Erza summoned a sword, taking it by the handle and glanced at it, admiring the glint of it from the lights. "I have the power of Weapons, and armour."
"Erza-Chan makes her enemies bleed~" Happy added, giggling, from his spot beside Natsu.
"I see, and what of you, Gray-San?"
"Well, uh, I guess I have the power of Ice. I use Ice-Make magic and I can manipulate it to a certain extent, creating weapons like Erza can but also inanimate objects." Gray explained, creating a small Fairy Tail insignia made from ice. It glistened from the light of the window, twinkling and Lucy looked at it in awe and respect. "How 'bout you, Lucy?"
"Hmm... I have the power to manipulate the Skies, Cosmos, Stars, Universe etc with Heavenly influence. I also have the power of Celestial Spirits with several powerful spells in my arsenal too. I can create weapons and objects, and I can also make my own keys. It isn't as powerful as your powers, but I like my magic." Lucy explained, creating a ball of light in her hands, molding it to take the appearance of a star.
"Nonsense! Your magic sounds very powerful, and I am very much looking forward to working by your side. I also wouldn't mind battling you, if you wouldn't mind." Erza exclaimed, interested in what she had just said.
"Of course. It would be an honour."
"Then it's settled! Battle between the strongest of women from the Guild of Fairy Tail!" Gray said, Natsu waking up with a grunt at the sound of a fight. "Stupid flame brain." He rolled his eyes, leaning back in his seat with his arms crossed.
Lucy's first mission with a team had only just begun...
