- Start Chapter 3 -

Springtrap awoke, laying down on the dusty old show stage. He let out a series of annoyed groans as his body started to slowly activate. His mainframe was waking up as his vision became clouded with broken code. He shook his head as the code disappeared, and when this happened, he glanced around the room: dirty tables, cheese stains with mould growing on them. Springtrap let out an audible sigh as he stood up. He glanced down at his lower body and mentally smiled. Sure, it looked like simple patchwork, but it was the best he was going to get until he possessed a new suit.

Speaking of which, he saw a newer model of his suit in the parts and service room a day ago, and he wanted to try it out, but then again, he had no idea what would happen if his spirit separated from his body. Then again, if the children did it, then it wouldn't be an issue for himself. He would wait until Deliah fully repaired this suit, and then he would possess the new one.

Deliah was fully made aware of Springtrap being a semi-alive animatronic. But he never told her he was the spirit of a serial killer trapped in a death trap. "Ugh… 15 hours until she returns… what to do in the meantime," Springtrap said to himself as he heard the door open. He stared at the entranceway to see that a group of teens entered the place.

"Come on, Rodger, this isn't a good idea! We have no idea what else could be here!" The voice of a worried female said as the so-called Rodger spoke. "Look, Melissa, if that nerd Deliah hangs out here as you said, what could possibly be here? If her school project is here, we can destroy it. As you said, you don't want it to be better than yours, right?" Rodger said as Springtrap snickered.

'She wants to use me as a school project? I'll allow it… but for now, these two think they can come into my domain without being invited. How cute.' Springtrap thought as the spirits of the five children appeared in front of him. They looked at him with a stare that screamed, 'don't you fucking dare.' As the two teens walked into the room, the first one that looked at Springtrap had their eyes widen in fright. The boy had green-dyed hair with black tips, assumingly that being his natural colour. His eyes were a bright blue, and his skin was a pasty pale. He wore a red shirt with blue pants and black dress shoes.

The girl was Melissa Markov.

She had bright blonde hair, and she had black eyes that radiated annoyance. She had tan skin, and she wore a black shirt with a rainbow butterfly in the center of it. She had shorts on, and she was wearing stiletto boots. "Don't tell me that is what she's working on?" Melissa said with a smug look on her face. Springtrap had 'deactivated' and waited for one of them to approach.

"Well, we can ruin it with this spray paint. So… let's get to work, shall we." Rodger stated as he brought out his pink spray paint. That was when Springtrap decided to 'activate.' His eyes flashing a bright white as he went slack-jawed. The two intruders stared in confusion as Springtrap started acting like a normal animatronic, internally praying they got closer to him. If that didn't work, he would do plan b.

"I'm impressed. She actually got the thing to be functional. Doesn't change our plans. She's gonna learn never to punch me again." Melissa said as she walked up to the bot, finally showing a baseball that hid behind her. That was when Springtrap spoke. "Hello, who might you be?" Springtrap stated, his voice oozing with a sinister tone. The two teens flinched as the Frankenstein-like animatronic chuckled.

"Not so high and mighty, now are you? Do you want to know what happens to those who come here without an invitation?" Springtrap asked as Rodger scoffed. "Look, it can talk, hooptie does. Let's just scrap this thing and get it over and done with." Rodger said, shaking his spray paint. That was when Springtrap walked off the stage, a squishing sound echoing from the thing as Melissa and Rodger went pale. "Oh? Are you scared? I'll give a good reason to be." Springtrap said as his eyes glowed red as he grabbed his top jaw and bottom jaw and slowly started separating them, revealing the mummified corpse head to the two teens.

Its eyes stared down at them as the steel, the blood-soaked metal of the animatronic glistened in the sunlight. The two teens screamed and ran away. Springtrap laughed to himself as they ran. Putting his face back together. "I missed scaring people like that. It's been so long, hahaha…" Springtrap said to no one in particular. It would be another few hours or so before Deliah came to finish up the patchwork. He was excited to leave.

Then it dawned on him. What if… he came with her this time? What if he followed her home? As much as he liked the idea, he didn't know how anyone other than Deliah would react. Plus, how could he explain to other people about the corpse inside of him. He sighed, looking to the back room and smiled. It was high time he tried out soul transferring.

- With Deliah –

Deliah was at school. She was still shaken up by the nightmare she had last night. It was so surreal. She had no idea what that bear thing was talking about, but ever since then, she had a voice in the back of her head telling her to stay away from Freddy's. But why? She had a promise to keep, and she would be damned if she wasn't going to keep it.

When it came time for classes, it was interesting, to say the least. Every time she would enter a room, she could've sworn that the golden bear sat in the corner of each room, staring at her with some sort of malice. It was like it was following her. She hated every second of it, and it seemingly knew. Why was it following her? Who or what is it? And why could she only see it?

'Don't think too much of it; it's just a figment of my imagination…' Deliah thought as she continued to her next and final class. The final class of the day was her least favourite. It was math class. She did good in math class, she would average 80% on most tests, but there were times when she failed badly. The current subject was pre-calculus. Most kids in the eighth grade for honours math were doing calculus, and Deliah's teacher wanted their class to do pre-calculus so they could easily transition into grade 9 for normal calculus.

This was the time where she would fail badly. Every test she got, she would get an average of 30% on the tests, despite studying repeatedly. She despised it, and she felt like the whole thing was rigged. Then again, a lot of people were having issues with this final part of the course. The only one not having an issue with it was a kid named Johnny Makeral. It hadn't surprised Deliah, mostly because he was extremely smart, but he was also a loner.

It was nearly 2:30 pm, and there were 30 minutes until class was over. She wasn't paying attention to class. She was paying attention to the golden bear, who looked a lot like Freddy. She decided to name him: Golden Freddy. She stared at it while it stared back. The person beside Deliah, Daniel Cornel, tapped her on the shoulder.

"Huh?" Deliah said, shaking her head in confusion as the teacher looked at her. "If you want to daydream in class, you can leave." Her teacher, Mrs. Robinson, said as Deliah stared at her before standing up and leaving. This shocked half of the class. Deliah never did things like that. Mrs. Robinson was also shocked, as Deliah would never talk back or take her suggestions seriously. In fact, Deliah had been acting strangely for the whole week. It was unnerving to see such a happy-go-lucky teen quickly shift to a very tired-looking, energy-deprived, sad sack. Then again, her programming teacher held a walkthrough for projects, so she chalked it up to late nights and little to no sleep.

As Deliah walked out of the class, she could feel something crush her shoulder as a voice whispered into her ear. "You… are… changing… for… the… worst. Stay… Away… From… Springtrap… and… never… come… back… heed… my… warning… Deliah Edwards." The voice said as she turned around. Nothing. She shook her head and started her walk home. Except for this time, she wasn't walking home. She was going to Freddy's. She needed to finish this project, and she needed to soon. Once Springtrap was fixed, she would bring him in for her computer programming project and use him for an easy A.

Once she arrived, she tried to open the door, to no avail. That was when she felt a hand grab her shoulder and turn her around. A yellow rabbit stared down at her. Its purple eyes met hers as she stared at it, confused. "Hello, Deliah." The animatronic said as Deliah's eyes widened. "S-Springtrap?!" Deliah stammered as it bellowed a laugh. "Yes, it is I. Do you like my new and improved model? I transferred my AI to this repaired body. Pretty neat, right?" Springtrap stated as Deliah's eyes widened with a smile spreading across her face.

"That's so cool!" Deliah said as Springtrap smiled. The mouth on the animatronic was a naturally moving one, which was a tad unnerving, but it meant that she wouldn't have to guess what kind of emotions Springtrap was trying to convey. But now that begged the question, why was the door to Freddy's locked?

"Hey… why is that door locked now?" Deliah asked as Springtrap sighed. "Well, those demolition guys are coming in a day or two, so I needed to close that place up in case any poor sap gets locked inside while they destroy the place." Springtrap lied. The real reason was the animatronic body that was now hollow was lying down in the middle of the main party room.

"Right. Hey, you know how I have a programming class? Do you think I can use you for that?" Deliah asked as Springtrap put a finger to his chin. "I don't know, maybe…" Springtrap said with a smug grin on his face. Deliah had a feeling he wanted something out of this exchange, so she asked: "What do you want?" in an annoyed tone of voice.

"Glad you caught on. Since I will no longer have a place to stay, can I stay within your home?" Springtrap asked as Deliah's eyes widened. "Wha-what?! My dad would go ballistic if I brought an animatronic into the house!" Deliah said as Springtrap chuckled. "Think about it like this; you are bringing a school project home, so why not? I see no reason to say no," Springtrap said as Deliah sighed. She began to contemplate if she would bring him.

Looking at it from her dad's point of view, he would get angry, but at the same time, if she said it was a project she had been working on for several weeks, he might believe her. Sighing, she looked at Springtrap and smiled. "Sure, I don't see an issue with it. But we have rules, rules you cannot break. Understand? I'll explain them to you later. Ok?" Deliah stated as Springtrap smirked. "Well, I do not see the issue of a couple of rules. You got yourself a deal." Springtrap said, reaching his hand out for a handshake. Deliah smiled, shaking his hand. For a split second, Deliah could have sworn that she saw an evil glint in his eyes. She felt unnerved, but at the same time, she's come this far, and she was determined to not only get the answers she was promised but also, she wanted to get that A in her programming class.

"Well, let's get going. We don't want to keep your father waiting," Springtrap said as Deliah nodded. The pair started to leave when Deliah Noticed Springtrap looking off to the side, his eyes seemingly widening. Deliah looked over in the direction he was looking in, only to see nothing. 'Odd… What was he looking at?' Deliah thought, her confused expression snapped Springtrap out of his stupor. "Oh, it's nothing, Deliah… I just thought I saw something," Springtrap said, picking up the pace as Deliah tried to keep up with him. For a 1 ton animatronic, he was pretty fast.

- With the Ghost children –

"This isn't good… we have to follow him! We can't let him corrupt her anymore." Jennifer said as Oscar hid behind Noah. Matthew glared at Springtrap as Miles, no longer looking like Golden Freddy, stood in front of them all. "What do we do? We can't just let her become his next victim!" Jennifer pleaded as Miles sighed. "We must… find our… bodies… They are at… that Fazbears… Fright location…" Miles said as everyone gasped. "You don't mean we-" Oscar started before being interrupted when Miles turned to him.

"We… have no… choice," Miles said as Noah stepped up, glaring at him. "No, Miles. We can't. This isn't like the last time; this is completely different. We can't resort to violence instantly. We need you to continue to convince her. If we can't, we'll use force." Noah said as Miles returned his glare. Miles was the strongest ghost, yes, but Noah was the leader. The two clashed a lot, and when they did, it was never pretty.

However, Miles wasn't in the mood and dissipated. Noah sighed as he continued to watch Deliah and Springtrap. Springtrap acquired a new, more friendly appearing body. It was a golden yellow Springbonnie suit. Its eyes were a deep purple, and his mouth moved like normal as an organic mouth would. "His soul is powered by agony and evil. It's to the point where he can manipulate matter itself. We couldn't beat him even if we tried. At least, when we are not one." Noah muttered, looking back at his friends.

He remembered the last time they came together as one. They writhed in pain as Creation. But it was needed, that was how they got him in the suit then, but now, things were different. He shuttered at the thought of having to resort to becoming that… thing… again. "Noah… what happens if she becomes like him… what if she becomes a murderer, just like him?" Oscar asked as everyone, but Noah gasped.

Noah didn't know how to answer that. It took him a second before he looked at Oscar. The words he spoke chilled them all to their core. "We do nothing." After saying that, he dissipated into thin air, leaving Matthew, Oscar, and Jennifer alone. They were speechless. Sure, Noah was a smart ghost, and he knew his battles and knew his losses. But this? This was a first. He was always there to help others, so what could have caused him to change?

"Well, if that is what Noah says to do, then we don't get a choice," Matthew said as he too dissipated. The other two followed as Miles sighed. He had been watching the conversation play out. He agreed with Noah in not doing anything, but he wanted to end this now. Plan A wasn't working. Little nightmares about chasing her down with Freddy were not working, so he would have to put plan B into action.

"It… looks like… the Nightmares are only… just beginning," Miles said, disappearing into the wind. Laughing in his evil Golden Freddy tone.

- Edward Household –

Nick had just gotten off of work early. It was 3:30 pm. He wasn't feeling well the whole day, so he needed the rest. He was still going to take the night shift at the restaurant he worked at. The place was called Candy's. It was one of Fazbears competitors, and they were a popular one. He hated working the night shift, but he had no choice. The night guard had gone missing, and they needed someone to fill his shoes. Nick was that unlucky individual.

When he walked up to the front door, he noticed that it was unlocked. "Was Deliah home?" Nick muttered to himself as he opened the door. What he saw made his jaw drop. Deliah was sitting beside what looked like a man in a fursuit. Nick quietly grabbed the baseball bat he kept at the door, walked up to the man, and was about to hit him when the man turned his head around without any warning.

That was when Nick slammed the bat down, expecting a fleshy 'whack.' What he got was a metal clang. It shocked the now supposed metal, fur suit-wearing man, as it did Nick. Deliah went wide-eyed when the thing stood up, towering over nick by a couple of feet. That was when it spoke in a gravelly and very angered tone of voice. "I am going to give you exactly one minute to give me a damned good reason why I don't rip your intestines out with my bare hands." The 'man' said as its eyes glowed red. Nick was about to shout when Deliah shouted.

"DAD?! WHAT THE HELL! YOU COULD'VE DENTED MY PROJECT!" The brunette teen shouted as Nick went wide-eyed. "P-Project?" Nick said as Deliah pinched the bridge of her nose. "My programming class. This is the project I've been talking about from time to time. This is Springtrap, and I swear, if you so much as dented it, I will hit you over the head with that baseball bat." Deliah said. Her tone of voice was full of anger as Springtrap smirked.

"Deliah, you should calm down. I'm sure he wasn't under that mindset. He probably thought of me as some furry. However, that does raise the question. Why was your first instinct to bash my brains in? What if it was one of Deliah's friends who was wearing a fursuit. You could've killed them, and that would mean you would be a murderer. Then what? Perhaps you should think more clearly than with your heart." Springtrap advised as Nick swallowed his anger and pride.

"Deliah, kitchen, now," Nick said, glancing at her as she groaned, marching over to the kitchen as Nick followed close by. The moment they got there, he glared at her. "What are you thinking!? I'm not even going to ask how you programmed it like that, but what I want to know was why you didn't talk to me, at least warning me ahead of time!" Nick said as Deliah facepalmed.

"Did you even check your cellphone? I left you, like, three messages." Deliah said as Nick bit his bottom lip. "That's what I thought. You had your ring tone off, right?" Deliah asked as Nick sighed. "That is not the point. You just don't let giant robots into the house like that! I don't care what it is; it has to go." Nick said as he heard the metallic clanging of footsteps.

Springtrap stood in the doorway with a grin on his face. "I hate to disappoint you, Nicholas, but that is not happening. You see, the place she built me at is being demolished. I was an old, rotting animatronic she found in a safe room. She generously brought me back to life. She even went out of her way to restore me, and she is allowing me to stay here." The rabbit animatronic explained as Nick went wide-eyed.

"So that means… yesterday, when you came home with the toolbox, it was you were working on that… thing?!" Nick shouted as Deliah looked off to the side in disappointment. "Y-You lied to me?! Why the HELL did you lie to me! You know you shouldn't lie to me, ever!" Nick said, his hand balling into a fist. He let out a deep breath, calming himself down before he did something he regretted.

"Look. I don't mind that you work on stuff like this, especially if it's for school. Just don't lie to me about it. Please." Nick said as he turned to Springtrap. "And as for you. You can stay, but you stay in the basement at night. I don't want you wandering around… I already have to deal with that anyway." Nick mumbled the last part so that neither of them would hear it.

"That was already explained to me by Deliah," Springtrap said as he smirked before shrugging and turning around. "Anyways, I'm going to make myself at home. We leave tomorrow morning, right Deliah?" Springtrap asked as she nodded. Nick glared at the animatronic before shaking his head. "I'm sorry, can you please open your mask up? I just wanna make sure you're not lying," Nick said as Springtrap sighed. Grabbing his bottom jaw and top, he split it open, revealing a metal endoskeleton head with purple eyes. "Believe me now?" The endoskeleton head said as Nick sighed.

"Yes, thank you," Nick stated as Springtrap closed up his mask. Nick shook his head in bewilderment as Springtrap walked downstairs. How could Deliah have the technical prowess to restore a musty, decrepit animatronic? Unless someone was teaching her. That was when it hit him. 'Did the animatronic teach her? No, that's impossible… unless… no, he's dead. I was at his funeral.' Nick thought, glancing at the basement with a concerned look.

'No. Ghosts don't exist. Besides, that would be impossible anyway. My brother died due to a springlock incident; he is never coming back. But that does beg the question… how does that thing know my name? I never told him it, so unless Deliah told him, it would be impossible.' Nick thought, walking up to his room to get some sleep. Tonight would be a long night, and he wasn't particularly fond of being tired during a night shift.

- With Springtrap -

Springtrap stood at the bottom of the stairs that led to the basement. He smirked before taking in his surroundings. The room was musty, and some of the walls had mould on them. There were boxes, tons of boxes. One of them caught his attention. It was a pile of scrap animatronic parts named: My dream. It wasn't in Nick's handwriting, rather, in Deliah's.

"So… she wants to run an animatronic centred restaurant… That can be arranged."

Springtrap grumbled, knowing full well the dangers of a place like that. Just as Springtrap was about to continue looking around, the ghost children appeared in front of him. "You," Noah said as Springtrap smirked. "Well, well, well, look who it is. What do you want?" Springtrap asked. His tone of voice sounded more annoyed than normal.

"You're twisting her, aren't you!" Jennifer said as Springtrap snickered. "What gave you that idea?" The rabbit animatronic said, waving at them nonchalantly, his eyes hiding an evil glare. "The fact that before she met you, she was far happier, now she's slowly becoming more sinister. I don't think we haven't noticed. We've been watching her ever since she came to the Pizzeria." Oscar said, his eyes glowing with a white pinprick light in his eyes, showing that he was furious.

"Pfft… I've done nothing. I'm simply just giving her suggestions as to how to deal with her problems." Springtrap said as Matthew sneered at him. "You think killing is a good solution?! You're fucking mental!" Matthew said as his eyes narrowed at the bunny with anger. "It worked for me until It didn't. So, therefore, it should work for her." Springtrap said, his eyes growing sinister.

"Now, leave me be. I am going to power down for a while." Springtrap said, walking over to a corner in the room and sitting against the wall. His eyes lost the purple light, reverting back to green, showing that he had powered off. The ghost kids watched him for a minute before dissipating.

Miles watched with a half-hearted smirk. He was preparing plan B. What was plan B exactly? Simple really… Things were going to get… Nightmarish. He wasn't going to kill her, but he was going to do the next best thing. Torment her.

- To Be Continued -

A.N: For those who are wondering what 'creation' is. It is from a fnaf fangame called The Joy Of Creation: Story mode. If you've played the game, you would know what it is. Think Ennard from sister location but made out of the withered animatronics. Anyways, I also wanted to state that, while I know that Candy's isn't a part of S.A.D. I want to make people aware that I am trying to separate this story canon from the original. It is still S.A.D inspired. Like always, please give me your thoughts in the comments, even write a review if you want. With that said, see you in the next chapter.
