Chapter 3- Brothers of Destruction

Months have gone by and our heroes have prepared themselves for the upcoming conflict that is to take place on Earth. Little to know that only two beings will be showing up instead of an army. Frieza is well aware by now that the Saiyan's are expecting his arrival. Either way, it won't matter to him since he and his brother are ready. They arrive just outside of the Earth's atmosphere where Frieza and Cooler were watching through the window of their ship. Cooler spoke out.

"So this is Earth?"

"Yes brother, this is the planet where both father and I were vanquished."

"Why don't we just throw an energy ball towards the planet and be done with it?"

"Tempting but I can already sense those monkeys down there. And their waiting for us."

"They already knew we were coming?"

"Yes, my guess is that there is a spy within our ranks. Either way, let's head on down to say hi."

And so Frieza's ship headed towards the planet and began its landing phase. Not far from a distance, our heroes watched and prepared themselves for the fight. Though Goku and Vegeta are already aware on who they are after.

"You guys, I think you should sit this one down."

"What? Why Goku?"

"We are only sensing a small amount of people on the ship that's coming down. On that ship, there's two powers that I can feel and one is obviously Frieza."

"Then who is the other?"

Vegeta was silent but Goku answered.

"We were told it was Frieza's brother that will be with him from Bulma."

"Frieza has a brother?"

"Yeah and like I said. You guys should sit this one out. We believe that they just want us."

"Alright but if things go down, we'll throw a senzu towards your direction."

"Hmm, thanks but I think we can take them on without those."

Vegeta then flew ahead towards where Frieza's ship was landing. Goku shrugged it off and flew behind following Vegeta. Soon they landed just outside of the entrance of the ship. With it the doors open and out came some elite soldiers. They only stood off to the side while their leaders stepped out. There Frieza gave a smile and began walking down the steps with his brother behind him. Goku took notice of Cooler and whispered over to Vegeta.

"So is that his brother?"

"Yeah but something is not right."

"What do you mean?"

"Cooler isn't what he looked like when I first saw him. Which means he's already in his final form."

"Woah but it's much different to Frieza and also Frost."

"Yeah but I'll ask the questions while you stay silent for a moment."

"Fine I guess but don't be mad if I get too talkative."

With it they looked over to their opponents who were now a few feet away from one another. Both on each side giving a serious look. There Frieza spoke out.

"Are you monkey's done talking?"

"Yeah we are."

"Hmm sensing you now, you two have grown stronger after that little scheme I made."

"Using Broly like that wasn't right to do especially to his father and you know that."

"Hmm, I'm sorry Goku but I did what I had to do to see through my plans. Either way, something new has come up."

"And it involves your brother doesn't it?"

"Yes Vegeta, though my brother was stronger due to his fifth form he acquired."

"A fifth form?"

"Ah, now that makes sense now."

"Yes prince of one two Saiyans. I acquired this form from intensive training but unlike Frieza. I never discovered our races true power…until now though."

"Yes, my brother as well has earned his own Golden state. So you two better go out from the start. And keep that instinct nonsense to yourself. I want this to be fair."

"I don't mind and I do like a fair fight."

"Whatever, I'll be nice to follow as well."

"That's pretty nice of you, Vegeta.""

With that our Saiyan warriors turned into their Blue form and this put a smile on Frieza's face while Cooler's mask covered his smile. After that, the Brothers of Destruction turned into their Golden forms. It shined the area around them bright yellow. Once the light faded away, there stood two golden beings. Goku smiled on.

"I must say Frieza, you really grew more in power after the tournament. I can sense your brother as well is almost close to your power."

"Oh, we aren't done just yet."

This news stunned the warriors because the brothers soon made a familiar pose. And a shout as well.

"FFFFFUUUUsion-HA!"

Where it stood two beings now there is one. Goku and Vegeta are in shock to witness this kind of power and that they learned the fusion technique. Who stood before them was a tall being, he didn't wear the usual fusion clothing. Instead, he had a mask, spikes coming out from his head to his arms and legs and back. As well as the Golden look. Though Goku and Vegeta knew that this power was something beyond the Golden form. Something even higher. The being that stood before them laugh at their shocked expressions.

"You see, I've learned this technique thanks to your small children that you have. With it, our power has never been greater. And just like you monkeys, we have achieved a new level of Golden. With it a nice name to go with it. Just call us, Pure Golden Coolieza."

"Wow, I must say I'm pretty impressed Frieza. How is that our boys taught you that technique?"

"We have our ways and now let's test our strength against yours, shall we?"

Goku looked at Vegeta who gave a nod. And so they too fused into the being known as Gogeta. Instantly, they turned into their Super Saiyan Blue form. There the two fused fighters stared at each other but in a flash, they both made their move. With each hit comes a block then a counter which ends with another block. Coolieza had the speed but Gogeta had the senses and he knew where each hits were going. Eventually, they broke away and began shooting Ki blasts at each other. This went on sometime and then they stopped. Coolieza just laughed.

"I must say you monkeys are sure keeping up easily."

"Well I won't lie. I have been using just a tiny bit of Ultra Instinct."

"Hmm, I figured that. What happen to playing fair?"

"Not my fault that the other half of me doesn't want to play by the rules."

"Alright then if we are breaking rules then allow us to show you something special."

There Coolieza closed his eyes and a purple aura grew from his feet. It began to rise up towards his upper body then finally his head. He soon opened his eyes and now they were purple. A familiar symbol appeared around Coolieza chest. Their area soon began to give off a weird feeling and Gogeta knew something wasn't right.

"Something isn't right. What is this energy you pulled out?"

From a distance a voice called out.

"It's Destruction energy."

Gogeta looks down to see Beerus and Whis eating some food. Coolieza took notice to him.

"So that's Lord Beerus?"

"Yes it is. And don't bring your fight anywhere near us while we are eating."

"As you wish, Lord Beerus."

"Alright spill it. Where did you get Destruction energy?"

"Remember that time when that universe sent those assassins after us?"

"Yeah I do."

"Well you see, I took a portion of that power and fused it within my own. It was a small dose but soon it became bigger and bigger. Infusing itself within my own power. Still like your Ultra Instinct, I am on a timer. I don't have full control over it just yet."

"Hmm, then I guess we too shall go all out."

Gogeta's turn back into his base form and closed his eyes. Soon a blue aura formed around him and then his hair turned pure silver. He opened his eyes and it had the same color as his hair. Coolieza was a bit surprised.

"Well isn't that something. You are able to use its power without breaking your limits."

"Yeah but half of me isn't use to it."

"Doesn't matter, try to dodge this!"

Coolieza raised his hand and shot a Destructive energy ball towards Gogeta and instantly he dodged it. Though before Gogeta had time to land on the ground, the energy ball began to move back towards him. Once again he dodged it but the ball just kept targeting him. Gogeta didn't have a clue on why this was happening. Beerus spoke up.

"Destruction has many types of forms that it can be used as! It can be used as an energy blast or wrap it around yourself like a piece of armor! Though when using it as an energy ball that is a different story. The ball doesn't disappear unless it hits a target! It senses users that can be easily destroyed. Yet it won't target the being that launched the attack or other Destroyer Gods."

"Damn, then how about this!"

Gogeta flew straight to the ground at a quick speed and once on the ground he destroyed a chunk of it and launched it at the energy ball. Sure enough it actually did the work. The ball disappeared but soon Coolieza made his move and launched an attack. Gogeta instantly dodged it and was about to counter until he stopped half way. Coolieza smiled and said.

"Come on, hit me."

"Hmm."

Gogeta backed away far enough and began to charge a Kamehameha. Coolieza took notice and began to float into the air.

"Well fine, I guess we can end our fight now."

Coolieza lifted one finger in the air and a bright light shined their area. It was almost as bright as the sun.

"KA…ME…HA…Me- oh!"

Out of nowhere Gogeta had suddenly split off each other. This gave Goku and Vegeta a shocked looked.

"Damn, we used too much power!"

Coolieza took notice and laughed.

"Well now, I guess this victory goes to me!"

Before he can throw the supernova, the energy ball disappeared and this confused Coolieza.

"Wait what-"

Soon they too have split and this made the brothers confused.

"What but how!?"

"It hasn't even been an hour!"

Goku and Vegeta flew over to them. Goku then explained.

"Yeah, we sometimes forget about this but when you use too much power it can make the fusion shorter. I guess ultra-instinct and your destruction energy really was too much. Hahaha."

Cooler and Frieza just gave an annoyed look and soon began to fly away. Vegeta noticed and shouted.

"Hey! Where do you think you two are going!?"

"You see 'Prince' Vegeta, my brother and I only came here to test our fused power. And after that experience, well we now know we are still far beyond you two. Still it doesn't mean we'll stop at nothing to defeat you two."

"Yeah, so for now be glad that we are leaving. Just know next time, we will be more prepared."

"Hmm, well I'm much pumped up for our next fight. See you later Frieza!"

Frieza just smirked and soon they went to their ship and flew off. Goku and Vegeta headed back to the capsule corporation, where they began to chow down on some food with their friends.

"You know, I'm a bit surprised to see Frieza use destruction energy. Seems like you have a rival now Vegeta."

"We don't know if Frieza himself can use it or his brother. All we know is that their fused self can use it."

"Whatever, once we are done we'll continue your training."

"Alright, Lord Beerus."

"Oh and how was it using ultra instinct while fused, Goku?"

"Well Whis, it was a bit difficult because if I can recall, I was able to utilize half of its full strength."

"I see, still its more perfected on a singular being."

"Yup but still I'm pretty excited to see what's next."

Out in space, Frieza and Cooler have just landed on planet seventy nine. There they entered their quarters and began examining the galaxy through a hologram projector. Frieza soon spoke out as they were working.

"I must say brother that was quite a show we did."

"Indeed but what exactly was that Destroyer God talking about?"

"Beats me, I hardly know much about this Destruction Energy. But if I can find some way to awaken it without our fused might. Well we might be one step ahead of those monkeys."

"Yes and also that Pure Golden form."

"Yes, I'll look more into it to see if we can achieved that."

Just then a call rang out to their monitors. Frieza answered.

"Yes, what is it? And if it's about that spy, I've already dealt with him."

"Sir…she's here."

"Excuse me!?"

Both Cooler and Frieza looked at each other and Frieza asked.

"Where?"

"In the meeting room as we speak. She's waiting for you two."

Quickly the two brothers left their area and rushed over to the meeting room. Once there, they opened the door and it was soon closed behind them. They both went down to their knee and bowed down. The being before them spoke up.

"My, it's been so long since I've seen you two. Last I heard is that you were dead and you were just lounging around."

"Forgive my absences but my loyal soldiers were able to bring me back as you can see."

"I don't mean to take things lightly around my sector. I was just-"

"Enough, your father was just so blind to give you two this much power. You can stand as well."

The two brothers did so and the being before them looked out the window.

"I heard you two have been dealing with two certain Saiyans?"

"Yes we have."

"And that their power is beyond our own?"

"Yes it is."

"Well how about we change that to our favor."

"What do you mean?"

She looked over to the corner of the room and out came another being.

"Boys, I would like for you two to meet a nice friend that I've met. Please introduce yourself."

"Gladly, my name is Fu, I am a being beyond this time as you can say. And I have a little gift for you guys."

He took out a red crystal and this gave Frieza and Cooler a curious look. Fu then explained.

"As I explained to your mother or queen as you can say, this crystal I am holding is able to grant an unlimited power source. With it, I can help you mess with certain timelines in this universe."

"Mother, does he mean we can use this to travel through time?"

"Well Frieza, not necessarily but you can mostly enter different events throughout this current timeline."

"Hmm and what do you get out of this?"

"You see, I am able to extract the time distortion you make with this crystal. If I take enough energy, I can give you enough power to defeat Goku and Vegeta."

This surely did put a smile on the brother's face.

"Yes and now my sons, get your forces ready and when the time is right. We shall conquer these timelines and be known as the strongest in our universe. You two are dismissed."

Soon they left and she continued talking to Fu.

"I must say you promise a lot and make it sound like no risk will be taken."

"Well I will tell you this that, there will be certain people that'll probably get in the way of your 'conquering'."

"No matter, we will destroy anyone who gets in our way."

"Sweet and now that everything is settled. Mine finally telling me your name your highness?"

"Sure and a proper greeting as well. My name is Queen Brisk. And you have met my two sons and well my husband and king is well gone."

"Actually I can arranged that."

Fu pulled out his sword and with it created a portal and who came out shocked Brisk.

"Oh my."

"Hello beautiful, did you miss me?"

Hello everyone, the Author here with a quick announcement. So yes this is the final chapter for this short story but I would like to announce my new main story is currently in development. I don't have a tittle yet but it does have a small connection to this. It will be center around the Dragon Ball Xenoverse timeline. So for the first time, I'll be asking for any OC characters. I'll need almost about six of them. And with a small background information like who's their master, what race they are, what kind of powers they have and maybe a small backstory for them. Like I said, I'll be picking only six so please don't get too upset if your character doesn't show up in my story. Who knows, maybe something will come up and I can sneak one or two more inside. Oh and to be aware their powers shouldn't go anywhere above ultra instinct or destroyer level. So have a good day and be safe out there.
