Chapter 3: Welcome to the job
The following morning after signing the application at home, Maria then went to Barkmart to go bring in her application.
Buzz was working there that morning; he was a Grey Fox. Although he seemed like a nice manager when his customers were around, he certainly wasn't around his employees. Buzz was especially a jerk to Glenn mainly because he saw Glenn as weak and spineless. Maria of course didn't know this.
"Hello there," Buzz said. "Hey," Maria replied, "I'm here to turn in my application to work here." Buzz looked at the application. "I'll look over it and give you a call in the next few days," Buzz told Maria.
A few days later, Maria did get a call from Buzz to schedule an interview. She did schedule one and before long, she was interviewed and got accepted into the job. Although this was good for her, she would later find out what Buzz' true side was like.
Glenn eventually heard about Maria working for him and Buzz. He didn't think much of it, he just thought of his bad luck. "Probably another employee that is gonna blame me for something," Glenn sighed. Of course though, his assumption would be wrong.
Maria then walked into work for her first day and saw Glenn working alongside a few other employees. She walked over them and told them who she was. "Oh yeah, I heard about you," Glenn said a bit unenthusiastic, "Welcome to the job, I guess. I'll show you what you need to do."
