And we're back, readers and writters, to a new epis... I mean chapter, ahahah... I'm actually really happy. I reached over 7 favorites and 14 people following. I like the number 7 (I'm sometimes supersticious, that means I'm lucky (?)), 14 follows to double the luck... I'm just kidding. But seriously thou. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT :D.
The number of views also have been increasing, which gives me a lot of motivation to continue this story. We still live in times where is really hard to leave home, so I get to watch the YuGiOh GX again in subbed (sometimes in dubbed, to notice the differences), and I also play some action games (I'm seriously getting addicted to Brawlhalla Friendly 2v2). It's just too much fun playing in tags, instead alone, am I right? Which also makes me a fan of tag duels, it's... satisfaction 100.
Well, I don't wanna talk more about myself; that's not why I'm here. Here's another chapter. Obviously, I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh Gx (by saying I've been watching the anime in first place), and this is where I'm gonna reveal some parts of the story 'Jaden's Harem-Return of Supreme King', and made them MY way; the same for the OC characters. I feel a little embarrassed for saying this... but I'm a REAL HUGE FAN of GhostKaiser23. The heart and passion he got on writting the story made me write all this. So I also wanna say... in some other future chapters, I'll use some other parts of his story (giving his author's priviledges of course, I didn't have full imagination). Haters can say I'm copying his story... I'M NOT! His ideas are just part of my motivation, thank you very much... yeah, I'm very dramatic.

Yakutsu Zaishiro: If you already read the chapter 2, I guess I don't need to answer your question. But I'll say it once again. YES! Syrus will be a main protagonist together with Jaden :D. I just like to write about his story life, and change it into my own liking. Of course, he won't be a 'superhero' that knows EVERYTHING, and gets everything he wants. NO! This is technically a 'parallel universe', imagine what would happen IF Syrus "real story was another one we didn't know about"... a lot of plot-twists will happen, just wanna spoil that tho!

Chapter 3 – Welcome to Duel Academy

Jaden Yuki was running away in the road from some older kids, he was scared of them to try catch him. He was panting while holding his deck between his arms, he passed through some people, one of them being an adult making contact with him.
The person looked behind to see what was going on, until some 3 more grown-up kids passed through him running behind the kid with smirks on their faces. The adult was just paying attention to it.
Jaden was still running, when one of the older kids pushed him to the ground which made him fall. Jaden's right naked knee made contact to the ground and caused him to gasp as blood was flowing from it. However, he never let go of his deck when he fell off, still holding it strong as he crawled over his blooded right knee, to keep himself safe. Unfortunately, the older kids were now surrounding him; making a circle, so that nobody would suspect.
"Hand over the deck, kid! And we might consider leave you there." The first kid said, still smirking.
"We won't harm you if you do so!" said the second kid menacingly.
"NO! The deck is MINE! Leave me alone" Jaden said on tears, trying to hold is cry. The kids however started to laugh at his response.
"I guess we leave you no other choice! We'll take it by force" the third kid saying kicking his back. That made Jaden gasp again from the kick strength that let him let out blood from his mouth, splatting the other kid's shoe.
"You just made my shoes dirty with YOUR blood. Clean it!" said the boy, stomping his foot on his head. The first boy just decided to laugh at the situation while he was kicking his arms and stomach, while Jaden was still bleeding from the shoe's impacts.
"Jaden… Please…" whispered a voice close to Jaden.
"No… I won't… let them… take you… Yubel" tears surrounded Jaden, in combination with the blood on the ground.
From behind one the third old kid, the adult punched his back with a tremendous strength that made the old kid gasp in pain, he felt like he got stabbed with a knife. "GAHH!" the attacked kid reacted, stopping the kicking to guard his back with his back hands. The older kids looked at the adult, while Jaden was already passed out from all the blood he lost.
"Huh? Who the Hell are you, punk?" the first kid asked angrily looking at the older person. But then his eyes widen to see who he was looking at.
Extreme extravagant hair, with long blond crooked, pointy locks for his fringe; five large spikes and two smaller spikes colored black with a magenta sheen along the edges. The hair-form could be compared to an autumn leaf. But what scared the kids the most was his muscular body and the angry serious purple eyes, holding a glare to the kids. He was wearing a belt on his neck, with a black light vest and blue pants.
"Yu-Yugi Muto!" said the second kid, the third one was already done with his back treatment.
"Grr… The King of Games! Just what we needed right now." The third kid said trembling on his knees. 'He's dangerous. Fuck! This is not going so well' he thought.
"So… You think that you are good duelists… by grouping together to kick one kid younger than you, to get what you want?" Yugi gritted his teeth, it was like he was letting out venom to spread over the old kids. They gulped to the adult, while Yugi got a chance to take a look at the passed-out kid and all the blood splattered on the floor. Looking at that disgusting sight made him get berserker.
"I'LL MAKE YOU KNOW YOUR PLACE!" he screamed, grabbing his duel disk from a bag he brought with him, and turned it on to life, inserting his deck.
"Eh! B… Big deal, we're 3 against 1... Even if you're the king, you won't stand a chance against us… Guys let's take him down" the first kid informed nervously.
"Y-yeah… this punk won't win against our best combination tag dueling" the second duelist said, more confident.
"You'll pay for hitting my back" the third guy said angrily, the three guys turning on their duel disks.
"Yes… I will do so…" was Yugi's last words before he screamed, "DUEL!"
During the duel, Jaden was able to open his eyes from the pain he kept to himself. Yubel was the first to react to that, "Jaden, are you okay?" she asked worriedly, trying to comfort him.
"Y… yeah, I'm just glad you're still here with me" Jaden said with a comforting smile, still grabbing tight on his deck, before he heard an adult scream.
"IT'S MY TURN! I SACRIFICE MY 3 MONSTERS TO CALL AN EGYPTIAN GOD CARD… THE GOD OF OSIRIS; SLIFER, THE SKY DRAGON!" Yugi hold the card to the sky, the clouds turned grey and a thunder vortex hit the ground; a giant red serpent dragon arrived, with a giant blue gem on top of his head, claws in the chest and a giant jaw with a big fang in each end.
The kids were scared at that God getting revealed in front of them; but Jaden instead showed awe for the monster... it was an inspiration, a miracle. Yugi saw Jaden looking at the God and hided a smile, before looking at the old kids again with evil eyes again. The God was growling, staring menacingly at the three bullies.
"No matter how MANY you are, how INCOMPETENT you might be… If you dare to hurt someone weaker than you… I WON'T FORGIVE YOU NEXT TIME! SLIFER, FINISH THEM ALL! 'SUPER ELECTRICAL CONDUCTION WAVE – THUNDER FORCE'!" screamed Yugi, a spark blast burst from Slifer's jaw, able to reach the three duelists and making them fall from the impact, felling so real.
Their Life Points were story as well, dropping to 0. They were still frightened for the GOD. Even with the game over, IT was still there like it was alive, and ready to attack the bullies again, this time not in a duel. They felt their pants getting warm, they understood what that meant, and ran away from the adult and the god. They were now far away from the adult and the young kid, Yugi deactivated his duel disk, the God now leaving the world before letting a growl, "Thank you, my friend", Yugi said, then his attention went to Jaden "Are you okay, boy?"
"I'm… I'm fine. I just… think I can't walk again…" he said, trying to hold a smile, but he was still on tears from the trauma he passed now. Yugi understood him, getting close to him, and carried him on his back, "I need to get you on a hospital. It looks like they did a number on you…".
"Thanks… for saving… me" said Jaden before he closed his eyes and fell his head on his back.
When they reached the hospital, Jaden was on a bed covered in bandages and was still resting from all pain he suffered. Yugi looked at him with a concerned look, until a Monster Spirit came close to him; "Who are you?" asked Yugi, giving a serious look at her.
The monster spirit simply smiled at him and bowed her head "The name's Yubel, I'm Jaden's guardian and friend. Well, I also was the same guardian on his past life, the Supreme King Judai's Life."
"Past life huh? Interesting… Can't say I also experienced meeting my own past life as well" said Yugi as he remembered his 'other self', how strong was the bond between them.
"Jaden is still young, innocent… He needs to get stronger, strong enough to face off the most dangerous enemy that his past has ever feared and got enraged by" Yubel said just so only Yugi could hear it, "The Light of Destruction!" she revealed the threat
"How dangerous is that Light? If anything, I can bring myself to help you on defeating it." Yugi offered himself to Yubel; she smiled at him and continued her explanation "The Light is so dangerous that it took down and killed many innocent lives… not to mention, Judai almost became a victim from it, if it wasn't for me, and…" and she closed her eyes, not wanting to remember what happened.
"And?" Yugi asked, but Jaden woke up from his resting sleep.
"Good morning… Yubel. Good morning… Huh… YUGI?! Ow…" Said Jaden gasped from seeing the adult, and hed his hand on the stomach; he hurt himself from the gasping. Yugi smiled at Jaden and answered.
"Good evening, you slept for 4 hours. You're lucky the nurse said the wounds were treated easily", that made Jaden sigh in relief, and Yugi continued "also I've heard about this friend of yours, Yubel. It seems you have a good friend…"
"Huh? You can see her? You guys have been talking on my back?" Jaden pouted embarrassed, while Yugi and Yubel laughed at his cute reaction. "At least I'm glad… glad that I can stay with her now" Jaden ended with a relief sigh, while Yubel just blushed at his friend's comment.
"Speaking of 'stay'… Don't you have anyone to stay with? Family? Friends?" Yugi asked worried about him. Jaden just looked down with a depressed look and shook his head.
"My parents left me, calling me a freak for having Yubel as a friend that would protect me when any trouble would happen; I don't have any friends besides my deck… it's all I have" that made Yubel nod also with the a down look.
"His parents were always outside from home, so I was always the one taking care of him. But when they found out about my existence, they decided to take me out from Jaden; saying that I was dangerous for the unknown people who were asked to take care of Jaden. When Jaden refused to not let his parents take me out from him… they decided to expel us from home! After that, we… decided to go to the other relatives we considered family… but, the same result kept happening. Until Jaden decided to never become… a YUKI" she ended, gritting her teeth with an angry expression, and Jaden started to sob.
"Dear me…" Yugi said concerned. But then, he knew what he had do about this problem. He smiled, "Tell you what… I've taken a like at you, Jaden. And the fact that you can watch and talk to Duel Spirits is also a plus for me; it's not every day I meet people like you... I wouldn't mind taking care of you until the time being, what do you say?" the King of Games asked.
Jaden looked at him… speechless. The King of Games was actually asking him if he would like to live with him. Tears fell from Jaden's eyes, this time being tears of joy as he answered "YES! I'm counting on you, DAD!" and Yugi ended with "My pleasure, SON".
*Present time*
'IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDU'
An arm smashed the alarm to turn it off, its host woke up from his naptime with a satisfied yawn. Jaden Muto opened his eyes from his sleep, feeling someone on top of him and his bed sheets.
"Good morning, my love" the one on top of Jaden said with her right hand holding her chin
"Hmm… good morning Yubel. You slept well?" asked Jaden, receiving his good-morning kiss from the spirit.
"Never better! You better get up; we have to get yourself ready for Duel Academy. They await your arrival." She said hovering away from Jaden so he could get himself ready. After he got himself dressed with the same uniform that he used yesterday, he was now packing his clothes on his suitcase.
"Socks, underpants, trousers, shirts...What else?" He thought "Whoop, never forget." He thought putting his deck in a secured section of his luggage.
"Hey Jaden, you okay?" Yugi asked, entering Jaden's room.
"Yeah, I am." Jaden nodded. "And Yugi...Thanks. For everything."
"It's fine." Yugi smiled, they were now hugging each other for a last time "You will do fine this year… I know you will be the Top Duelist"
"Thanks." Jaden chuckled with a smile
"I'll see you later. Okay?" Jaden asked
"Yeah. See you soon." Yugi nodded
"And I'll say bye to Mama Tea as well." Jaden smiled
"Show them how a real duelist plays." Yugi nodded
"Will do, dad." Jaden smiled
"Wait, I've got one last present." Yugi smiled, pulling out a card from his card and giving it to Jaden
"Y-You're giving me one of your cards?" Jaden's eyes widened in shock
"Yeah. I think you and him will be good friends." Yugi nodded
Jaden looked at the card and saw Winged Kuriboh. A little brown fuzz-ball monster with white wings. It greeted him with a wink from his left big eye.
"Good for you, Jaden." A female voice smiled, a teenage girl dressed with a blue and pink off-the-shoulders garment that extended to her mid-thighs and ended up as a skirt; it also had some yellow touches of yellow. Green eyes, faint-pink markings on her cheeks and blonde hair, she was wearing a hat pointing up, with pink rings and a pink spiral on one side. She was wearing her boots that reached her halfway up her thighs and she was also wielding a blue wand with a yellow spiral which had the same size to the one on her hat. She was also wearing optional blue and pink gauntlets.
"Thanks, big sis." Jaden smiled "Well, I'm ready with the luggage. I'm ready to go."
That comment made the so-called Dark Magician Girl get behind him and surprise him with a hug.
"But I don't want my little brother to go!" She cried dramatically.
"Awe...Don't be sad, sis. I'm sure you can come visit." Jaden chuckled
"Duel Academy DID ask if they could have my Battle City deck, minus the God Card, to have on display for a few weeks." Yugi smiled
"See? I'll see you around. Also, I remember Dark Magician saying you had that spell training to do, so you could become a stronger sorcerer just like him. Don't tell me you forgot that, did you?" Jaden smiled.
"... Of course I didn't forget that. A-Ahahahah" Dark Magician Girl released from him, she was now laughing nervously. But then she stared at Yubel and Winged Kuriboh, "You guys better look after him." Both Yubel and Winged Kuriboh winked at her.
Jaden just sighed and smiled at her sister, they hugged each other and he grabbed his suitcase. "Later"
"Don't forget to call!" Dark Magician Girl called out
"I won't!" Jade called, running through the house
As Jaden went downstairs, he looked at the watch showing '07:20 AM'. He then saw his adoptive mother, Téa Muto Gardner. She had dark brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a white shirt, written 'SPIRIT', and blue jeans.
"Hey Mum." Jaden waved
"Hey Jaden. Off to the Academy?" Téa asked kindly
"Yeah. I've said 'bye' to Dad and Dee." Jaden answered
"Want a lift?" She smiled
"I wouldn't say no. But don't you have to get to work?" He asked in concern
"Yea but I won't be late." Tea smiled "Just need to drop you off at the docks and head to the stage... No big deal."
"Thanks mum." Jaden hugged her.
"Come on, let's go." Tea smiled as they two ran out of the house hallway…
"Don't you think you forgot someone, JADEN?" a female voice could be heard from top of the stairs, which made Jaden stop to look up.
Three grown-up teenagers were on the top of the top stairwell, staring at him: the left one had a palled-skin with a reddish tint, long red hair, yellow eyes and she was wearing a long red lizard like dress; she was the skinniest of the three, big red wings behind her back. She was Mana, the daughter of "Slifer, the Sky Dragon".
The middle one had lightly-tanned skin, a short blue bob-cut hair, red eyes and was wearing a blue Japanese kimono that could be compared to an Egyptian dress; she was more muscular than the others, small blue wings behind her back and some spikes on her shoulders. She was Berenice, the daughter of "Obelisk, the Tormentor".
The last one in the right had the most tanned-skin, Egyptian look to be compared; long light-blonde hair, red eyes and she was also wearing a Japanese kimono, but yellow this time. She was slimmer than the other two, holding a gold fan on her right hand, large wings on her back. She was Cléo, the daughter of "Winged Dragon of Ra". They all had a blue gem on their forehead to resemble their parents' jewel in their heads.
"You even forgot to put us in your deck yesterday for the Exam… I thought you would forget us. I'm disappointed.", Berenice said pouting while looking away.
"You have to take responsibility, Jaden; we were the ones who made you this strong 'Man' you are right now… You have to get us already!", Cléo finished calmly with her fan shaking, a tic she used to have.
Jaden just sighed at that, almost cursing himself for forgetting not putting them in the deck yesterday, the DUEL exam being his priority in the first place. He laughed nervously, excusing himself to go upstairs to get the rest of the cards. Téa laughed at Jaden's action, thinking how much he had grown up ever since the day they met.
"Let's go this time…" Téa said when she saw Jaden running downstairs and they went outside.
*with Syrus*
'BEEP BEEP! BEEP BEEP!'
Syrus slammed his palm on the alarm as he looked at the time "07:00 AM", he needed to get ready for the Duel Academy entry. He got himself dressed with the blue blazer and pants and went downstairs to prepare his lunch.
He prepared his usual tea and bread breakfast, when he saw a paled-skin woman on her mid-thirties, with almost his size, only some inches taller than him; she had the same light-blue hair, but longer behind her, the hair braiding to get itself stuck. She had light-blue eyes and was dressed with an emerald housedress that covered over almost her body, up to her feet. She was Syrus' mum, Emma Truesdale. She looked at his son with a proud smile, coming to the kitchen to sit on the table set next to where Syrus was eating his bread.
"How're you doing, honey? Nervous on your first day?" she asked worriedly
"I'm fine mum. I have everything ready for… this year… in Duel Academy… yeah" he laughed nervously, but was also hiding some fears; the fear of getting bullied by other old kids, get scolded by teachers… all things that he's been suffering in the past.
His mum put a hand on top of his, "Everything will go fine! I believe you will have a better time with some new friends. It's a new experience; the moment where you have to leave the nest and fly away, Syrus. You must be free from your worries."
"I know mum, but… to just think that everything has been running so fast. I'm scared… scared of the past that has been tormenting me… and… HIM." He said, while he was trying to relax from his anxiety.
"He must've had a reason… to make him act the way he's been acting these past years. But don't worry, Syrus. Just keep getting stronger and follow your heart, where it desires the most." her mum gave him some confident pulls to try change his attitude. Syrus actually got to feel a little bit more relieved.
"Thanks for everything mum. I… I feel like I own you for keep staying with me… like this."
"Your happiness is all I need from you! Your mum had to give her best, to raise a good son with a good heart." Emma said with a little laugh to try make Syrus get a better spirit. But then she whispered "To think the younger Syrus I remember, that used to play with his vehicle toys everywhere, running everywhere full of energy… would finally be this fine man in front of me…" that made Syrus to blush a little bit embarrassed. "I love you and will always do, my son. Please don't forget that" She said hugging him.
"Me too mum, I will miss you" he said with some tears leaving freely from him. He got himself up from his seat and went to open the door "I'll see you!", it was his last words before he closed the door.
It was still '7:15AM' as he left home, taking him 15 minutes on walk to get him to the docks. During that time, he was still remembering the good times he had in the past… which made him use the deck he holds dearly with him.
*in the docks*
Syrus saw almost every duelist ready to get inside the helicopters to part away to their new destination. However, he decided to wait… for someone. Until a sport car arrived next to him, leaving Syrus with a scared expression while looking at the door of the car opening, someone leaving from it.
"Hey there, Sy!" Jaden left from the car's door and waved at him.
'Getting out from a sports car! Jealous me… just kidding' he thought, waving at Jaden.
"Have fun out there, honey" Tea came close to Jaden and kissed him in the cheek before she left from her car.
"Bye, mum" Jaden answered waved back at her.
'Well, Jaden didn't make up that story yesterday… He really is Jaden MUTO!' Syrus thought to himself, somehow get happy to be friends with the Yugi's successor.
"Son of the King of Games… and the World's Best Dancer… I-I would say I would… be jealous, but… I guess being your friend is enough." Syrus laughed nervously.
"'Step-son', but that doesn't matter right now... What are we waiting for, let us get ourselves ready for the Academy." Jaden raised an arm, pointing to the helicopter, Syrus following him behind.
"Hey there fellas. You guys made it on time, it seems" Bastion said approaching them to shake their hands and getting inside the hellicopter. They all said goodbye to Domino City.
The helicopter was now taking flight to the Duel Academy. Syrus and Jaden were sitting in the same row of seats, Bastion was behind them; waiting for the arrival. Syrus was looking at the clouds through the window on his side, while Jaden was sleeping peacefully. Took them some time in their seat, until they got a voice coming from the audio speaker.
"Attention new Academy duelists, this is your captain speaking! If you look out your window, you'll see your new home away from home. Next stop, Academy Island!"
The helicopter started to descend cross the Ocean, Syrus and Bastion took a look at the island that they would start living their year. It was all covered in green, from the forest being all spread over the island; It had an harbor on the left side; the Duel Academy School was in the center of the island, with a red, blue and yellow rooftops; a little of sand covering on the bottom, and finally, a giant volcano on top right of the island.
All the duelists arrived at the harbor, getting asked to dress their uniforms they received yesterday after the duel exam. They finished dressing themselves after some time when they left the dressing room, and went straight to the School. There, Jaden, Syrus, Bastion and the rest found themselves standing in a large lecture room with a monitor in front of them. Jaden and Syrus were wearing red blazers, while Bastion was wearing a yellow one; they were also wearing grey pants.
The monitor turned itself on, where a bald man could be seen before every new student, with a goatee around his chin, in his late forties and early fifties. He was wearing a dark red blazer, almost identical to the student red blazer; with a yellow shirt and a tie.
"Welcome, Dueling Elites. I'm the headmaster of this School Academy, Chancellor Sheppard. You all used your skills to open the narrow admission gates. Please have fun studying in hopes of becoming the future King of Games." That's all the man in the monitor said, before every student left the room to check out their dorm to live from now on.
"The dorms we'll be living in from now on are split into three. And it seems Slifer Red will be my dorm." Jaden checked on his PDA while he was sitting in a statue.
"Ah… me too." Syrus confirmed next to him.
Bastion approached them, and Jaden took a look at his uniform. "Yellow? I guess that won't go for Slifer…" Jaden joked.
"That's because I'm a Ra Yellow" he said patting his own uniform; but then continued worried, "But I should probably ask this… Why are you Slifer Red? I saw your name in the Top 10 Writing Exam Score Board. You should've been a Ra Yellow like me, or probably an Obelisk Blue! What's with that?"
"It was a promise I got from someone. Don't mind it." Jaden said grinning. 'As expected from Jaden. Besides his dueling, he also got the brains…' Syrus thought with a hide smile, looking at them still talking.
"Well, I probably should go now. I need to check my dorm room." Bastion said while leaving.
"Great, see you around the dorms, Bastion" Jaden said, waving at him.
"That's where my worries come from, Jaden. Your dorm is over there." he pointed them to a direction where a silhouette of a small building could be seen. The red rooftop was the proof of being the Slifer Red dorm. Jaden and Syrus climbed the stairs to check their dorm, Syrus was the first one to talk.
"What's this? Is the Slifer Red dorm… the only dorm… that looks this bad?" he said, touching now the old dirty walls; it looked like they weren't clean in years.
"Well, ignoring that… This place has a great view to the Ocean. And it's got appeal!" Jaden smiled, leaving the building railing and decided to check out their rooms. "And I guess this is our room" he said, turning the knob to open their door room. Yubel appeared, hovering next to Jaden to inspect the room she was also going to live from now on.
Inside it, they could see a two-seated desk along the left wall with a television in the left; a window straight across from the door, and a three-person bunk bed along the right wall. And in the right of the hallway entry, there was a little stove with some cabinets beneath it. "It's pretty small… don't you think?" Syrus commented as he came inside the room to put his luggage on an unoccupied bed.
"Heh… you're a small guy" Jaden joked, patting his back, "… but I think there's enough room for us to live on, and that suits me just fine."
"For us to meet in the Exam day… becoming friends the same day… and now becoming… roommates" Syrus said, laughing nervously "We must be linked together by fate or something!"
'Fate, huh…' Jaden thought remembering a certain flashback he had years ago, which made him laugh a bit. "Humm… Jaden, since we're friends and roommates now… would you mind if I start calling you by… 'Big Bro'?" Syrus asked nervously.
"I don't mind it… thou you can't forget: there's no social standing during duels. Just rivals!" Jaden said smirking at Syrus, while he looked worried at him.
"It-it's because… it really suits you… acting like a big brother to me..." Syrus looked down, embarrassed at what he said. Jaden took that chance to pat Syrus' hair, then went to the window curtains.
"Don't get too concerned. From now on, let's work together towards becoming the King of Games!" Jaden stopped the hair stroking as he went to the window curtains and opened them.
"AH! That's too bright! Shut the curtains!" a third voice could be heard from the room. Jaden close the curtains again and Yubel appeared right next to him to protect him.
"Who's there?" she asked worried.
Both Syrus and Jaden looked at the top bunk of the bed, where they saw a third person laying in the bed with the bed sheets covering him. "There was someone here…" said Syrus curious.
"Sorry, I didn't notice you there" Jaden informed nervously while scratching his back.
"Well, can you notice me now?" the person revealed himself with an angry expression, a heavy-set boy with a face and hair similar to a Koala. Syrus screamed at the boy while grabbing Jaden on his right, while he and Yubel both looked at him, to know him. 'A Des Koala? That's cute…' Yubel smirked, while Jaden only raised her an eyebrow. He coughed a little, introducing himself.
"The name's Jaden, my friend here is Syrus. I guess we'll be your new roommates… hum." He finished his introduction as he waited for an answer.
"Chumley. Chumley Huffington, got it? You're new here alright, so lemme tell you how things work"
"We're all listening. That's if… we have something that we don't know yet…" Jaden said smiling nervously.
"Duh, I'll explain now how the whole color thing works. That's more important than anything. You see, there's three different kind of students here: the Obelisk Blue Students, the Ra Yellow Students and the Slifer Red Students. Now, the Obelisk Blue students are the highest rank. Most of them get into the school by really high grades, while others get in by connections. The Yellow students are mostly younger students that have a lot of potential...and then there are us; the Red Wonders" Chumley explained.
"Red Wonders… is it that bad?" Syrus asked worriedly
"Well duh, it's a beat-up gathering place for the dropouts with horrible grades." Chumley explained, leaving Syrus speechless. "Do you get it? Those that've been sent here never had a future from the get-go." Chumley finished his sentence.
Both Jaden and Yubel looked at each other, understanding what Chumley just explained. "Is this how the School looks at Slifer? The weakest from the God cards?" Yubel asked Jaden.
'If that's how's going to be... we have work to do, Yubel!' Jaden thought and looked at Syrus, he was looking depressed at what Chumley just said. "Nice to meet you Chum, we will check out the island." He walked out of the room, but Syrus was still there.
"Wanna have a talk about this, Syrus?" Jaden asked him, now opening the dorm door.
"Y… yeah, I guess so." Syrus said following him to go outside.
They were walking to the Duel Academy School. Syrus was actually being silent, still thinking bout what Chumley said about his dorm. A sigh came out from him. "You're still feeling down?" Jaden asked next to him.
"It's all thanks to what he said…" Syrus said depressed with his head down.
Jaden, however showed a positive side, "But I really like red from Slifer! Just imagine… Seething flames, boiling blood… it's a perfect red color, for a zealous guy like me!" he said pointing to himself to give some courage to his friend. "Besides, the year just started. We start everything now, don't we?" he finished.
"Y-YOU'RE RIGHT…" Syrus mentioned, getting more confident. "What's the point of feeling down now?" and flames started to leave from his eyes "Give it your all, me! Fight! Fight!"
"That's a nice spirit you have there, pal" Jaden got relieved at Syrus change, until his dueling instincts reacted as he looked at the School, "Changing the subject, I sense a duel happening over there. Follow me!".
That left Syrus surprised "EH! You have a duel-sensor with you, or something?" he asked, following Jaden. They were now inside the building hallway that led to the Stadium; a duel was happening between two Obelisks, the same two students who were next to Chazz during the exam entrance.
"I-Is it alright to barge in there?" Syrus asked as they were now at the entry of the Duel Arena. "I don't want us to get in trouble, especially on the first day." He finished, the two Obelisks noticing the newcomers and stopped their duel.
"Don't sweat it, we're students here and this is our campus" Jaden pointed out.
"WRONG! This is the Obelisk Blue campus. No Slifer Red slackers allowed!" one of the Obelisk Blue teenage informed, while the other next to him pointed a finger upside them. "Look behind you, Slackers. Don't tell me you didn't see the Obelisk crest". Correct on his sentence, behind Jaden and Syrus was a Crest showing the Obelisk face on the top of the entry of the Duel Stadium. "Just leave already!"
"S… sorry, we… didn't know. Let's just… get back to our dorm." Syrus said anxious.
"Hmm… 'leave' just doesn't fit well with me, you know? Tell you what… you guys want to face me and my bud here? That would be okay, right?" Jaden challenged the Obelisks.
"I thought I recognized you!" the teal hair guy said, while the brown crown hair guy screamed "Chazz, it's the last duelist who beat Dr. Crowler." The black-haired Obelisk student appeared from the seat to take a look at the group.
"Yep, Jaden over here. Ready to throw down, want to tag along?" Jaden asked, smirking at him.
The Obelisks just looked at Jaden with confused looks "Why would he face a Slifer Red like you? Chazz Princeton is the Number 1 of the Super Elites, be sure to pay some proper respect.", the teal hair guy said.
"Yeah, he will be the next King of Games, the best in the world.", the Obelisk brunette added, to much for Jaden disapproval.
"Impossible!" Jaden crossed his arms at the last comment.
"What did you say?" the first Obelisk hissed.
"I said it's impossible for him to be the next King of Games. Cause that's going to be ME!" Jaden pointed to himself.
By hearing that, the Obelisk teenagers started laughing and stopped after sometime, the teal hair guy mocking "You Slifer Slackers don't know your place, do you?" he was about to continue his sentence, when Chazz interrupted.
"BE QUIET! Just calm down… After all, that guy is better than the two of you. He beat Professor Crowler, using his personal deck in his entry exam duel. Albeit, he did it sloppily.", he finished explanation what happened on yesterday's match. The last sentence made Jaden and Yubel, that appeared next to him, laugh at Chazz.
"That was skill! Nothing sloppily about it." Jaden smirked, but this time it was Chazz who smirked at his answer.
"I'd like to see this skill for myself then, BRING IT ON!" Chazz challenged him.
"FINE BY ME!" Jaden declared; however, the group heard a feminine voice.
"Well, this certainly is a motley crew…" a female stude got inside the Stadium, everyone turning their attention to the Obelisk Blue student. Blonde Hair, hazzle eyes, with her arms crossed over her chest, she was staring to the group.
Despise his anxiety, Syrus was the first to whisper while blushing "Wow! She's pretty!"
"Alexis, glad to see you! You see, I was about to wipe out the floor on this new friendly guest, want to take a look? It'll be a short duel, but entertaining to watch".
Jaden and Yubel however smirked 'Short duel, huh? Well, he's not wrong about that!' Yubel thought and Jaden laughed.
"Actually, I came to remind you that it's about time for the Welcome Dinner at the dorm to start." She said with an angry look.
"Tch, let's get out of here." Chazz said, he and his lackeys leaving the stadium.
Alexis then gave attention at the two Slifers "I'm sorry about Chazz and his group; I would recommend you to stay away from them. Not all Obelisks are like them… a bunch of jerks!", she gritted her teeth as she finished. Jaden simply just smiled at her comment.
"It's fine. I don't give too much attention for that. They're all bark but no bite, I would've beaten him in 2 turns, none less… However, I appreciate your presence here. It made me relieved.", but then he had to say it.
"For you to take the time to tell us that… Could it be… You have fallen in love with me at the first sight?" he flirted, pointing himself with a grin smile, Yubel laughing at his acting and Syrus staring at him speechless.
Alexis looked at Jaden, then smiled slightly at his comment. "I came here to say that the Slifer Red Welcome Dinner is about to start too… I would go if I were you."
"You're right! Let's go, pal" Jaden and Syrus started jogging to their dorm. "Oh, by the way. What was your name again?" they stopped to turn to the girl.
"Alexis Rhodes, and you?" she smiled again, asking.
"The name's Jaden Muto, my friend here's Syrus! Nice to meet you.", he and Syrus started running to the hallway.
"G… go slower, Big Bro." Syrus whined.
*Sometime later*
It was night sky already in the island, with the lights turned on in each dorm for their Welcome Dinner. The Obelisk Blue male students were with Dr. Crowler, their headmaster, enjoying their talking; a female teacher with her Obelisk uniform, was cheering her female Obelisk students in their dorm; an old man on his mid-forties with his Ra Yellow uniform was sitting next to his class students, while they were enjoying their dinner.
For the Slifer Red students, they were all in tables for 4 people to sit on, complaining at the conditions they had for their Welcome Dinner, well… almost everyone was.
"The other dorms have a better feast, compared to this" said one of the Slifer students.
"And to make it worse, our dorm leader isn't even human. He's a cat" Another said pointing at a brown and black striped cat that was taking a snooze at the Slifer dining hall table. That thought was blown out of everyone's head when a tall and skinny looking man with a dark hair and a pair of glasses came out from the kitchen area. He seemed like a nice enough guy.
"I'm your dormitory leader, Professor Banner-nya!" he greeted them all in a light German accent. "And in class, I'll be in charge of alchemy subject. Pleased to meet ya-nya!" he ended his sentence; he and the rest of the students saw Jaden eating pleasantly from his seat.
"This is great!" he said with his mouth full.
"Really? For me it's tasteless." Syrus said worried, "But still… the professor was still introducing himself… and I think he's walking over here." When Syrus finished his sentence, Banner was now close to them.
"Well, since some of us can't wait... Let's just eat-nya" Banner said with a small smile "Everyone, it'll be a pleasure working with you all-nya!" he finished.
'I like this teach… he's cool' Jaden thought, with Yubel next to him agreeing with a nod.
*After dinner, at the red dorm room*
"Man, am I full? Why didn't you eat all of your plate, Sy?" Jaden said with a satisfied look while sitting in the window wall rubbing his stomach, while Syrus was preparing tea for the three people who were there.
"Well… you were the only one who got a second helping huh, Big Bro?" Syrus asked, handing him a mug of tea, then looked up to Chumley still sleeping on his bed "You want some tea too, Chumley?"
"What? Did I say I was thirsty?" Chumley countered while shaking his sheets.
"Hey, he only asked if you wanted some tea, you don't need to snap off it." Jaden said concerned.
"He's not so friendly… it seems" Yubel added right next to Jaden.
"It's okay… I'm used to it already…" Syrus said in response to Jaden, not looking so hurt.
"Yeah, Duh! Just let me sleep already!" Chumley said to himself, when they all heard Jaden's PDA going off. He turned it on, a message chat got showed off. It was from Chazz.
"Hey, Slifer Slacker. I'll be waiting on the Duel Arena at midnight." it said, Jaden was now smirking for the challenge, but the message continued.
"We'll duel with the Anti Rule, with both of our best cards at stake. Come, if you've got the guts…", and with that bit, Jaden changed from his smirk to a disappointed look, the message ending. Yubel next to him closed her eyes and gritted her teeth, at hearing the same bit he heard.
"Jaden… Finish him off" Yubel stated.
'With pleasure' Jaden thought, getting up and went to the door to leave the dorm, with Syrus following him worried.
*At the Stadium*
"Big Bro, Alexis said we shouldn't deal with him!" Syrus said, they were now coming closer the Duel Arena.
"I'm sorry Sy, but this is personal… I would ask you to not interfere." Jaden said with his duel disk ready and a serious look on him.
They got inside the Duel Arena, where Chazz was there alone waiting for Jaden "How good of you to come, Slacker. I hope you're ready to lose" Chazz said, with his duel disk ready. Jaden was now looking at him and went to his area to start the duel.
"Heh… You're going to show me either the dumb luck or the skill that beat professor Crowler. Just remember… We'll be using that Anti-Rule, putting both our best card at stake. I hope you'll have no regrets for coming here." Chazz mocked Jaden, while Jaden was just hiding his anger, with Yubel next to him holding his grip.
Syrus was behind Jaden, looking close attention to him. The duel disks turned on to life as Jaden and Chazz declared "DUEL!"
Round 1 – Jaden(J): 4000 LP; Chazz(C): 4000LP
"Don't mind if I go first, Slacker! It's my turn." Chazz declared as he drew his card and took a look at his hand. "I summon Chthonian Soldier in attack mode!" he slapped the card, a devious warrior wearing a dark blade appeared on Chazz field, with a blade on his right arm (ATK 1200 / DEF 1400).
"Next, I play 2 cards face-down to end my turn." Chazz ended his turn with 2 cards face-down on his side. 'Duels contain the element of luck as long as there's drawing. If I remembered correctly, this slacker's specialty is about the Fusion monsters, so if he summons one of them, I'll be ready to counter' Chazz smirked while looking at one of his set cards.
Round 2 – J: 4000; C: 4000
'First turn' Jaden thought, starting his turn "My turn! Draw!" he drew his card and looked at his hand, then looked at Chazz with his serious look "I summon Elemental Hero Shadow Mist in attack mode." the declared hero was summoned to Jaden's field ready to attack (ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1500) "and I'll help my friend here with a stage. I activate my Field Spell, Skyscraper." Jaden slide his card on his Field Spell Zone, building holograms increasing on size.
"When my 'Elemental Hero' battles a monster with a higher attack, my monster gains 1000 ATK during that battle. BATTLE! Shadow Mist, attack Chthonian Soldier with 'Shadow Orb'!" Jaden declared, Shadow Mist creating an orb on his hands and sent it straight to the devious soldier (ATK: 1000 - 2000 /DEF: 1500). The monster exploded into pixels as Chazz took the damage (C: 4000 - 3200).
However, a blade was floating from where the soldier was destroyed, Chazz smirking at that "My Chthonian Soldier has a special ability: when I take battle damage from a monster that destroyed it, you also take the same damage I took." the blade passed through Jaden's monster and went to his summoner chest, he gritted from the blade impact (J: 4000 - 3200).
"But don't think this is over YET, Slacker; Because I activate my Quick-Play Spell, Chthonian Blast: it's activated when you destroyed my monster; it destroys the weakest monster on the field, and deals you damage equal to half its attack." The trap activated, creating a vortex around Shadow Mist, being the only monster on the field; and a blast made the monster explode into pixels, making Jaden grit his teeth again (J: 3200 - 2700).
Syrus was behind Jaden looking at the field where Jaden's monster got destroyed "OH No! Jaden is defenseless!" he said with a worried look on him.
"That's why I told you guys, to stay away from him. He plays like he's trying to make fun of the opponent's he's facing. He's dangerous!" Alexis approached Syrus from behind.
"I just wonder if Jaden can really outmatch Chazz like this…" she ended worried just like Syrus.
"I guess I was right when you declared yourself to be a FACKER. King of Games' Successor? The Future King of Games? Don't make me laugh, Slacker! I will finish this farse and surpass you in no time." Chazz mocked Jaden, while Jaden was still holding himself from his comments. Yubel was still next to him supporting him.
"My Elemental Hero Shadow Mist has an effect: is sent to the graveyard; and from my deck I can add a 'Hero' monster to my hand." He said adding a card to his hand "I end my turn!" he declared with only his field spell card on the field.
Round 3 – C: 3200; J: 2700
"I guess that's all the HERO duelist can do. With no monsters, you have nothing to defend yourself, Slifer Slacker. PATHETIC! MY TURN!" Chazz declared drawing his card and smirking. "I discard a card a card from my hand to activate this Spell Card, Cost Down: Now I can make all monster's Level from my hand decrease by 2; that means this level 5 monster in my hand can now be summoned as a level 3. COME, Mefist, the Infernal General" he slapped the card on his duel disk, a soldier came riding a horse while holding a giant axe. (ATK: 1800 / DEF: 1700)
"And I see you're defenseless, so my Mefist will attack you directly, with 'Despair Slash'!" the general rode off to Jaden, and sliced him through him with his axe. Jaden screamed at the impact, while Chazz was laughing manically at his show. (J: 2700 - 900)
"NO… JADEN BIG BRO!" Syrus screamed from behind, tears almost falling from him worried about his friend.
"I can't watch this. I'm feeling sick" Alexis turned her head with her arm covering her mouth.
"I'll set a card face-down… and I'll end my turn, Slacker! Just give up already and hand over your best card." Chazz said sadistically while Jaden had his head down, with his bangs covering his eyes. If Yubel wasn't there next to him, controlling his anger, Jaden could've exploded right there. Jaden let out a single sigh, his eyes opening again and one word came out from him.
"Disappointing!"
"Excuse me?" Chazz hissed "What did you say?"
"I said… What a Disappointment! You duel only for your own entertainment! You only do this kind of plays to show fear to your opponent for your own satisfaction. You have no spirit of a duelist! You're a freak in disguise! You had your turn to finish me off… but now, you're going to Pay!" Jaden said ready to draw his card.
Round 4 – J: 900; C: 3200
"IT'S MY TURN! I draw a card" Jaden declared looking at Chazz, "and that's turn number 2! The turn that I will end you!" Jaden said while looking behind him, Alexis and Syrus turning their attention to him. "I summon Elemental Hero Liquid Soldier."
Jaden slapped the card on the field, a dark blue suit Hero with a light blue mask and armor around his chest and arms; he was also ready for action (ATK: 1400 / DEF: 1300).
"My Hero friend has a special ability: when he's normal summoned, I can special summon a level 4 or lower 'Hero' monster from my graveyard; I Special Summon back my Elemental Hero Shadow Mist." As Jaden said so, the dark Hero appeared next to Liquid Soldier.
"And my Shadow Mist has another effect: it's special summoned, I can add a 'Change' Spell Card to my hand; and I'll pick this Quick-Play Spell, Mask Change, ACTIVATE: I send a 'Hero' monster I control to the graveyard, to Special Summon a 'Masked Hero' with the same attribute. I send Shadow Mist to the graveyard, to Special Summon Masked Hero DARK LAW in attack position."
The same masked hero from the duel exam appeared taking place of the dark hero, with the darkness spreading the field and looking at Chazz with a mischievous look. (ATK: 2400 / DEF: 1800)
"And it's not over yet, cause next I activate the Spell Card, Mask Charge: now I can return 1 'Change' spell and 'Hero' monster from my graveyard and add them back to my hand." Jaden said, returning his cards from his graveyard: Mask Change and his Shadow Mist.
"Add as many cards you want to your hand; the duel is already decided in my favor… remember that I still have my set cards to stop your moves." Chazz informed.
"But that will change, once I activate my Mask Change again: I'll send my Elemental Hero Liquid Soldier to the graveyard; COME Masked Hero Acid in attack mode!" Jaden took the card from his extra deck and inserted to the field.
This time a mask appeared on Liquid Soldier side, as he wore it; its body transforming into a taller warrior that looked like a police patrol, dressed in blue mask and armor, with red in the chest and a gold wind rose. For last, he was holding a blaster in his right arm.
'T-two Fusion Monsters in one turn… again' Syrus thought while looking at the field.
"And for the set cards you were expecting to fright me, my Acid Hero will deal with its effect: when Special Summoned, I can destroy all Spells and Traps you control, Chazz!" Jaden declared, a laser beamed from Acid's blaster, destroying Chazz' face-down cards, revealing to be Chthonian Polymer and Blazing Mirror Force. Chazz gasped at the moment his cards left the field… Jaden was dead serious about this turn.
Syrus and Alexis gasped at Jaden's field. He had his field just empty at the start of his turn, but now he was the one with the decided game. In fact, it was a Hero Comeback!
"I never minded dueling you like real rivals, Chazz! But you crossed the line when you mentioned the Anti-Rule applying for a duel, that is supposed to be played for FUN. I offered myself to duel you so I could tell you this: 'If you decide to make other people duel you by any illegal measurements… I'll never forgive you!'; BATTLE! Dark Law, attack his Mefist the Infernal General, 'Void Bomb Blast'!"
Dark Law heard his owner and created a dark orb from his chest, bigger than the Shadow Mist' one, and sent it to Mefist; which made contact with the orb and exploded, dealing damage to Chazz while he was gritting his teeth desperate (C: 3200 - 2600).
"Masked Hero Acid, my friend, end this duel. Attack directly with 'Aqua Beam'!" the Hero nodded him and pointed his blaster at Chazz, a blue beam came out from it that made the opponent cover his face, while the water was spreading over him.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Chazz screamed, his life points getting empty (C: 2600 - 0).
JADEN WON THE DUEL
The duel ended as both the duel disks were now off, with the monster holograms now leaving the field. Jaden approached Chazz with a serious look.
"This duel never happened. I rarely accept duels happening at this time, but following by that… rule, you've left me no choice. I hope you'll never challenge anyone to this kind of duels… AGAIN." Jaden said as if he was letting out venom from him, turning his back on him.
Yubel was on the other side, smiling at him for his good work; and both Syrus and Alexis were also climbing the Duel Arena to grin over Jaden's "victory".
"As expected of Big Bro, you ARE awesome! Your HEROS are so cool!" Syrus hugged Jaden, while he stroked his hair and looked at Alexis.
"Yeah, you were something else. You might bring some interesting days here at the Academy" Alexis said delightful, but then changed with a worried look "We need to get out of here now… if the Campus Security knows we are all here, we might get busted."
"Thanks guys, I'm just thankful for your support. And yes, let's go without getting busted" Jaden said, now leaving the building as they heard other footsteps from outside the Stadium, probably from Campus Security.
Chazz however went on a different direction than the group, with rage over the Jaden's win over him, and still saying the duel didn't count. He felt miserable over that, and decided to head to his dorm to think over his deck 'Damn you Slacker! This won't be over between us! I'll make you regret ever cross sides with ME!"
*with Jaden, Syrus and Alexis*
They were now outside the Stadium, the Slifers ready to say goodbye to the Obelisk.
"Well, thanks for showing us the back way out. Probably wouldn't have made it without you." Jaden thanked. "Y-yeah, thanks!" Syrus added, Alexis smiled crossing her arms.
"It's the least I could do after that duel you showed off. Got me interested to know the way you treat your monsters, Jaden. I respect that in you."
"Can I… just ask something?" Syrus asked directly to Alexis, so she could turn her attention to him, "How did you know Jaden… was going to face Chazz… in the stadium?"
"My friends saw Chazz leaving his dorm, and decided to tell me where he went… as I was walking to the Stadium to stop him, I saw you two going to the same place as him. I would stop earlier if I could, due to the Anti Rule of dueling at midnight hours; but I saw it was too late when I saw the duel start." She explained.
"Well, that explains THAT" Jaden slight smiled, "We're leaving now, see ya tomorrow, Lexi", Jaden and Syrus waved at Alexis, going to their dorm. 'Lexi, huh?' Alexis thought to herself with a hidden smile.
*at the Red Dorm Room*
Jaden was laying in his bed still awake, while Syrus and Chumley were sleeping in it. He was still thinking about the duel that happened, with the Anti Rule applied for it. He felt like that bothered him for a while, he tried to get some sleep, but it was hard to do so.
"Are you okay, my love?" Yubel asked, with the other three spirits friends appearing next to him.
"You used to sleep a lot, Jaden." Cleo mentioned, worried looking at his friend as he got up from his bunk.
"Don't you want our company in your sleep? We don't mind to do so" Mana approached Jaden, with her hands grabbing his pajama shirt.
"Just spit already what's goin' on in your mind, Jay! Though we might know from the time we already know ya…" Berenice said, with her arms crossed and sitting on Jaden's bed. Jaden just got up from his bed bunk with a sad smile and a little chuckle.
"I guess I can't hide it from you… I'm still remembering a dark memory from 5 years ago… It looks like this pain cannot leave me this easy. It looks ironic, how we're still on the first day on Duel Academy; but now I miss Dad. Only he, from everyone else, can understand my suffering." Jaden said with his head down.
The duel spirits looked at each other with a nod and went close to Jaden to give him a group hug, so he could relax from their closure.
"Thanks, my friends… if it weren't for you… I don't know where I would be. I guess I can go to sleep. Good night girls!" Jaden smiled giving his friends a goodnight kiss, so he could go to bed, finally sleep peacefully.
"We all love you Jaden, don't forget we're here for you." Yubel and the three friends informed before disappearing to their Realm.
"Yeah, I love you too… all of you" Jaden said before he closed his eyes.

Jaden and Yugi were now in a mansion next to an old GAME shop, "Welcome to my home. I hope while you're here, you can at least feel comfortable." Yugi said, grabbing his keys to open the door. Jaden came inside his home, to stare at the hallway.
For what he could tell, the mansion wasn't too much different than his old house; Jaden took a look in the hallway, with pictures of Yugi and Téa in it. But one of the pictures made Jaden wide his eyes: it was the day of their marriage; Téa with a white dress and his fiancé with a black dress, both hugging each other.
"Ahh, I remember that day just like it was yesterday… The best day of my life!" Yugi approached young Jaden and showed him his wedding ring. "It made me realize just how important she meant to me… besides my own passion for games. Just the fact that she's Téa Muto, it shows that she only belongs to me!"
"You are happy together, dad?" Jaden asked.
"We are more than happy, son. We're blessed… and speaking of which. Meet your new mum." Yugi pointed Jaden at his wife, making him look at her. She was leaving the kitchen with a yellow house dress and her long hair stuck in a pink ponytail.
"I see you're the Jaden that my darling talked about on the phone. Pleased to meet you, I'm Téa Muto Gardner, your new step-mum; but feel free to call me 'Mum'." She said amused, which made Jaden smile and give his new mum a hug; which she gladly accepted.
Steps could be heard from the top stairs, where three duel spirits appeared in front of Jaden; it was Mana, Berenice and Cleo, but they looked younger just like him. Yubel appeared next to Jaden, which made the spirits awe in enthusiasm.
"They can also see us?" Mana asked happily.
"There's only one way to find out." Berenice answered with a grin.
"Humph! Like that would make ANY difference" Cleo tried to look matured but still excited, while holding her fan."
"Huh… hello! I'm Jaden, and this is my loyal friend, Yubel. From now on, we will be in your care." Both Jaden and Yubel bowed at the duel spirits, while they went right to Jaden and Yubel for a group hug.
Chapter 3 is over, and yes... I did the duel so Jaden could win against Chazz. This is one of my plot twists of my story, the reason being... showing off how Jaden can also be mad in moments like that. It's a psychological feeling you can have sometimes: you just lose yourself. Another reason being: Chazz deck being... Chazz deck.
I hope you ladies and gentlemen enjoyed it. Once I post this chapter, I'll be working on the future chapters (I'm now finishing my chapter 7 *smiley face*). But once again I say... I post my chapters in a period of 3-to-3 days, to get Rates & Reviews that could give me help in my "future" chapters. Tell me what archtypes you 'duelists' like in the comments, what character you would like to see in the future? I actually have been working my ass on doing the duels with some friends of mine.
