Wizards Of Waverly Place-First Time Travel Adventure

When Justin Russo had created the Time Vortex Spell, which he called the Waverly Effect, Professor Crumbs encouraged him to make a Time Travel Adventure, with his Family, to go back in time to meet his Grandfather, his Dad's Father, Frank Russo, to learn more about his Family History.

Justin did his research regarding the Date of Travel, the Geographical Coordinates, and the History of the Russo Italian Sandwich Shoppe, that was founded by his Grandfather in 1957. Professor Crumbs teleported from the Wizard World to the Lair in the Waverly Sub Station to explain to the Russo Family what Justin had created.

All the Russo Family was excited to prepare to make the Time Travel Adventure. Alex, Harper, Jerry, Max, and Theresa gathered in the Lair with Justin. Justin activated the Waverly Effect and spoke the activation words: "Go There Now!" The Time Vortex appeared around each of them, and around all of them.

Suddenly, they all were teleported to the Russo Italian Sandwich Shoppe. And they discovered that the Waverly Effect had changed their clothes to the style of the 1950s, based on the historical information that was available at the time they started their Time Travel Adventure.

Alex was wearing a beige long sleeve high cuff shirt dress, and matching tan flat shoes. Harper was wearing a simple black felt circle dress with a white poodle dog motif appliqué, a white Orlon sweater, white bobby sox, and saddle oxford shoes. Theresa was wearing a blue sleeveless tiered ruffle gingham dress and matching flat blue shoes.

Jerry was wearing tan slacks, a short sleeve madras shirt, socks, and brown penny loafers. Justin was wearing black slacks, a button-down white shirt under a pullover plaid sweater vest, socks, and lace black shoes. Max with wearing black jeans, a white T-shirt under an unzipped black leather jacket, socks, and Keds black canvas hi-top sneakers.

Frank Russo was startled when the six people seemed to magically appear before him. Being a Family Wizard, it startled him, but it did not scare him. He just asked them if they were customers who wanted a sandwich. Jerry stepped forward and introduced himself by telling Frank that he was his Son, from the future, and the rest of the group members included his wife, Theresa, and Frank's three Grandchildren, Alex, Justin, and Max, and their female friend Harper.

Frank waved to the group: "How did you get here from the Future?" Justin stepped forward: "I created the Waverly Effect, which used a Time Vortex to travel in Time. Frank looked puzzled: "Waverly Effect, like in my street, Waverly Place?" Jerry answered: "Yeah, Dad, exactly. We still have the Sandwich Shoppe, but we changed the decor and now call it the Waverly Sub Station, like a Subway Station, sort of." Frank just looked at his Son, obviously trying to absorb what he just heard.

Then Frank realized what he just heard: "You still have this place in the Future, and you still make sandwiches?" Jerry nodded Yes: "Yeah Dad, we still make sandwiches just like you taught me to make them. We even have a second location, located in the Minkus International Building. But that building hasn't been built yet in your time."

Frank reached out and hugged Jerry: "I am so proud of you. Wow, to think this place is still the Family business in the Future." Everyone moved over to Frank and they hugged. Just as they finished their group hug, many teens entered the Shoppe. A boy, dressed exactly like Max was dressed, yelled: Hey, Frank, did you get the jukebox fixed?" Frank told Jimmy it was fixed and to select some songs.

The Russo Family moved out of the way of the teens, as the teens sat at all the tables. Most of the girls were wearing jumpers over white cotton blouses, bobby socks, and saddle oxfords, or they were wearing pencil skirts and cardigan sweaters, cotton socks, and flat shoes. Six boys were dressed exactly like Max was dressed, and they sat at a table with Jimmy when he returned from the jukebox. Max simply walked over to them and sat down: "Hey, I'm Max!"

Several of the teens came up to the counter and started ordering sodas, and a few ordered sandwiches too. Frank looked at Jerry: "Want to help me with our customers?" Jerry smiled and walked to the soda fountain and started to fill the orders. Alex, Justin, Harper, and Theresa sat at a nearby table and watched the teens.

Then a few girls came over to Harper and asked her about her dress. They told her they thought it was really "cool," and they started to ask her where she had gotten it. They were surprised to learn that Harper had designed it herself. Harper moved over to the table at which the girls were sitting and started telling them how she had made what she called hers "Poodle Skirt".

The music from the jukebox started and Harper called Alex to come and dance with her. As Alex moved toward her, Harper took off her shoes, and she and Alex moved to an open area and started to dance together. Some girls watched them, and noticed Harper was dancing in her bobby sox. Those girls were wearing bobby sox too, and they took off their shoes and started to dance too.

Jimmy pointed to the dancing girls, and soon he and some boys at his table took off their Keds and joined the girls on the dance floor. Therese got up and Justin followed her to the dance floor and everyone was dancing.
