Overwhelmed with darkness and negative energy, Cognitive Mark suddenly transformed into a giant, armored angel with black wings.
"There's no use talking it out." Bardock said solemnly, transforming into his Super Saiyan form. "Let's do this as quickly as we can."
"Oohh… I'm sorry about this, Mark!" Ed said as he dashed to the cognition and slammed a fist into its armored helmet, denting it.
"Damn it, Markie!" Eddy said as he fired a Ki Blast at the creature. "Why do you have to feel so bad!?" he cried.
"~You are the Ocean's Grey Waves~." Azura sang.
The creature turned its attention to Azura as it rushed to impale her only for a ray of light to pierce through it with Hope standing on the firing end.
"Sorry...but...you made me do it." Hope said as the cognitive creature collapsed.
The creature then vanished into smoke, leaving a version of Mark that looked outright miserable.
"Look at me. I almost killed my own mother just because I hated how she used to act. I didn't listen to her saying she changed. I turned my back on my friends just so I could get to her. I didn't care...I don't deserve to live. I'm worthless."
"No… that's not true!" Eddy said, only for the group to be back in the void, causing Eddy to slam his fist in the ground. "DAMN IT!"
"Hey guys… do you think Mark just wants to rest in peace because of all the things he regrets, and doesn't want to commit any more atrocities?" Kendo asked.
"Worthless?" A voice suddenly called out, as the very mindscape around everyone began shifting some, as Siege, along with Yumia, Vixy, and Sapphire came into view, the four of them having patched through after figuring out the situation from the others in the Galaxy King. "Heh… that's a word I've called myself a lot of times." Siege chuckled as he looked to the others with him. "Same with my sister and the two she brought with us. Look, Mark, we can do this one of two ways. We can settle this now or you get to meet our own inner demons. You're not worthless and you're not the monster you think you are. No one is perfect but you've battled through all these to be the damn hero you are today. Now I won't stand here and watch you refusing your own revival when we need you the most. Like I said, either let us wake you up or you're gonna get to see a side of me, rather, us, that I don't think you want to see."
For just a moment, the void started to brighten… then went dark again, a large moan coming from the locked door that deafened the area.
"...What the heck was that?" ZS asked.
"Nothing good." SE said.
"Yeah...and we still have 6 more doors before getting to that one." Rainbow said.
