Dong! Dong! Dong!

Robin heard a bell ringing softly and clearly through the air to his ears, its metal sound waking Robin from his slumber. He opened his eyes to a gentle breeze blowing past him, rustling the grass underneath him and the bluest sky he had ever seen. It was a serene spot to be as the sound of insects buzzing was soothing.

"Did I fall asleep in a field again?" Robin lifted himself to a sitting position. He rubbed his head as he looked around the spot he had been sleeping. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous with the green grass, lilies, and trees along the outer rim of this lush field. It was the picturesque idea of a fertile plain with hills and scattered trees in the distance.

"Have I been here before?" Robin asked himself. This place appeared familiar and, yet, strangely foreign, like it wasn't supposed to be part of his world.

Dong!

Robin heard the bell ring and everything clicked in his mind about this place, it was the place he had been dreaming about for the past few was here and it seemed real.

"The two of them are fighting!" Robin remembered a second time what was happening in this place. Robin spun around as he got up and protected his face in case there was another explosion. The explosion never came and Robin was left standing in the lush field, cringing at a blow that never came.

"Huh?" Robin peeked open an eye, wondering why nothing hit him. That is because the two people were not fighting.

Only the girl remained, standing next to the tree on top of the hill. The other man in the dark hood was not there. Robin went into a normal stance as he realized that he was not in danger of catching up in a big magic fight, one was gone and seemed to have been defeated. Robin decided to see where he was, what had happened, and how the girl, looking into the distance, was the last one here. Moving up the hill, Robin walked up to the girl in the alien clothes.

"Excuse me?" Robin asked as he was a yard or two from the red headed girl. "Where are we?"

"I told you before-" The girl spoke in an angry tone as she turned around. Robin was surprised by her irritated voice and her stunning beauty. He had seen her before but couldn't recall at the moment how he saw the front of her when he had only seen her back in this place. She had a gentle and caring face with red eyes. Her hair was red and short with a golden tiara with an emerald jewel. She must have been around 18 years old and around 5'4" by himself looking straight into her eyes from his lower position on the hill.

"-Wait?" The woman had a visible look of confusion once she saw Robin's face, like she was trying to figure out what was going just like Robin. Once she had come to a decision in her mind about him, she put a hand on her chest, closed her eyes, and bowed a little. "I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else."

"That's alright." Robin waved his hand, outstretched, to signify that no harm was taken and she didn't need to apologize. "I was trying to stop that guy earlier that was here but couldn't make it. He seemed like the sort that would try to cause harm."

The girl looked even more confused as she stared at Robin, she seemed to wonder how he knew about something that happened earlier. She cocked her head to the side. "You saw that?"

"Yes." Robin nodded and moved his hand to pint down the hill where he came from. "I woke up over there somehow earlier and saw some stuff happen, twice. This is my third time here and I am able to move around this time. Do you know where we are?"

The girl, still visibly confused, pondered what Robin was saying. She took it as something she couldn't understand, so she calmly decided to answer Robin's question.

"This is...Elysium." The girl paused for a moment. She tilted her head, glancing back at the place she was staring before he arrived. Robin moved up the hill to see what and where she was looking. "The land where, long ago, mankind lived in harmony with their creator. It's where… 'We' were born."

Robin looked at the scenery of a beautiful valley with a lake at the bottom or rolling hills. There were trees and buildings of homes and stores, nicely set with nature in the landscape. Towards one of the big hills, a white church stood, ringing a bell that peeled beautifully and solemnly through the air.

"You mean where the dragons come from?" Robin asked if this was the place that the divine dragons interacted with humans.

"No." The girl shook her head. "This is from a different world where the creator is called the 'Architect.' This is where humans lived with him, in paradise, with us, Blades."

"Blades?" Robin turned his head to the girl, then his body. He was curious what she meant by that, was she one of those Blades that she just mentioned. It seemed like that was the case from her wording.

"Blades are weaponized life forms created by the Architect" The girl looked gently at him as she turned to face him, placing a hand on the emerald cross on her breasts "We have these Core Crystals that can resonate with a person. If a person has the possibility to resonate with a Core Crystal, they can summon a blade and become the Blade's Driver. That is what is happening right now, Robin. You have the possibility to become a Driver."

"I don't get it all." Robin put his hands on hips and looked at the ground while shaking his head in confusion. He did not understand all this resonant and Driver Stuff, he needed more information. Wait, she just said his name and he never mentioned it all. How did she know?

"How did you know my name? I never mention it." Robin looked straight up and pointed a finger at her. Wondering how she knew it.

"Oh, sorry." The girl put her hand in front of mouth. It seemed like she forgot to mention something earlier and was shocked that she forgot it. She closed her eyes and bowed. "I probably should have mentioned it earlier. My name is Pyra. I have known your name since we came in contact, just now."

"Just now…?" Robin was in visible confusion as he furrowed his brows to concentrate. He had not touched Pyra at all since coming here. How did that get in contact if they haven't had physical contact at all.

"Sorry." Robin pulled his hand back and rubbed the back of his head as he put his other hand on his hip. He was wondering what was going on. "I don't remember coming into contact with you earlier. Can you explain how I got in contact with you, Pyra?"

"You were… killed." Pyra looked down at a corner of vision, placing her hands in front of her, down low. She was saddened by what she was informing the visitor. "Crushed in the maws of a monster."

"Crush? Monster?" Robin was confused for a moment trying to comprehend what she was saying. All of it clicked together at once and Robin remembered everything of how he got to this place.

"Chrom! Lissa!" Robin's eyes got big, he turned, and ran down the hill. Attempting to reach the old ruins where his friends were, not knowing how he got here fully or how to get back. "I've gotta save them. Everyone is in danger! The monster is weak to fire. GAAH! I can't do anything if I'm dead. Damn it!"

Robin plopped down on his knees halfway down the hill. He knew he couldn't get back in time like this. He was dead and this was the afterlife. He had been dreaming about his death all along while coming here. This must have been the biggest bummer in his short life.

"Robin, I have a request." Pyra came up behind him. She was sad at his loss as Robin knelt there in the grass. "Could you take me to Elysium?"

"Huh?" Robin tilted his head to her in puzzlement. "Elysium? Aren't we…. In Elysium?"

"We're merely in my memory of this place." Pyra's eyes were caring as she looked back into Robin's eyes. "An ancient, half-forgotten memory of what once was. The real Elysium lies in my world. Through a gate that travels between worlds."

"So this world is an illusion." Robin stood up and looked around at this beautiful scenery. There was a place out there that looked so peaceful and serene, it would be a wonderful place to live in. He returned his eyes to Pyra as he remembered one key detail. "I would love to take you back to your world and bring you to this place but remember, I'm dead. How can I help you if I have a lot of holes in my chest?"

Robin then saw the emerald cross jewel on her chest shine bright. A green hue shimmering around that area as it seemed to radiate power. It was just like it was when he touched the similar jewel on the sword.

"I will give you half of my life force." Pyra put her hand on the breasts, on top of the jewel. Her voice was sincere, but also seemed to carry a great sadness as she spoke. Pyra was concerned for Robin but it also seemed like there was great regret in what she was informing him about. "That way… you can be revived… as my Dri-"

Pyra did not finish that sentence as a dark light flashed behind Robin. The two of them turned to see what had happened and why there was a sudden disturbance in Pyra's memory world. Behold, it was the hooded man, standing right where Robin woke up woke. Sparks of dark light fizzled out as magic dissipated from the teleportation spell. The man turned to the hill, where Robin and Pyra were halfway up, to look at them without his face being seen behind his hood and giving off an ominous feeling that seemed to bring death with it.

"After all these setbacks to get the Aegis, it had to be him to prevent me from obtaining it and allowing me again to seize the power." The man chuckled as he started to slowly walk up the hill. Vast amounts of dark energy was leaking from his body that he seemed to be a walking disaster. "Hehehe, how ironic that it works like this."

Robin got down in a fighting stance as the evil man approached. He reached into his coat to grab a tome to fight this foe. As he put his hand in, Pyra put her hand on his hand, with the coat in between the two hands, to stop Robin from fighting this man.

"You can not defeat this man." Pyra had a serious look on her face as she attempted to protect Robin from the man. She had gotten in between Robin and the man and was turned sideways with only part of her face in Robin's direction, most her head was facing the assailant in her mind. "I struggled earlier to prevent him from seizing my power but fought him off. He has returned with all his strength returned but mine has not, but we can stop him."

"How? If you say he is so strong, how can I make a difference?" Robin looked down, perplexed, at her. If he really was the weakest here, he would not make difference by how much power was emitting from this man coming. It was a rat versus a lion comparing Robin to this man.

"By placing your hand on my chest, you will stop him from seizing my power and you will receive it instead." Pyra turned her head to face Robin. She looked worried, confused, and desperate , there were a lot of things going on her mind that she couldn't make out but this seemed to be the answer she had come up with. Pyra looked square into Robin's eyes. "You will be able to help your friends as well."

"Huh?!" Robin was stunned at what Pyra said. Touch her chest? Why and how would that fix anything? It was so inappropriate to do something like that if you didn't have a romantic relationship with. Robin looked bewildered at Pyra at her statement. "How does that help this situation?"

"It has my core crystal and I will resonate with you and will become your Blade." Pyra said as she spun around and cast one of the biggest fire balls he had ever seen and threw it at the hooded man. The man put up some energy to protect himself. The two dark energy and fire energy collided and pushed the man back a little. Robin felt a slight rustling in his legs as if his legs were the ones that scrapped against the dirt from the collision of magic. The man looked down at his legs as if he was figuring something out that Robin had no clue about.

"A-are you sure?" Robin blushed as she turned back to him from her spell against the evil man. He couldn't believe he was feeling so self conscious at a time like this.

"Yes." Pyra replied as she put a hand on chest, with the brightly lit jewel on it, out for Robin to touch. Pyra appeared sure about her decisions as she looked at Robin's eyes. "Do you want to save your friends?"

Robin stared at the green crossed jewel. It was creating ripples in the air like a bell ringing, or a heartbeat. A gentle flow of energy was soothing over him as he continued to gaze at it. He made his decision.

"Yes, I want to save my friends." Robin declared as he reached out to touch her chest, no hint of embarrassment on his face or voice, just a serious, strong, and convincing reply to her question. "I will also bring you to Elysium."

"Thank you." Pyra gave a kind and beautiful smile to Robin as he touched the jewel on her chest, before closing her eyes.

Suddenly, a burst of green energy rippled out of the was taken back a little as currents and lines of green energy erupted from the Core Crystal. The ripples appeared to be stronger as the energy simmered and boiled the air in that spot with its energy. Robin found himself mesmerized as he stared at the gem creating this strange phenomenon. Soon, the energy coming out was collecting on a similar spot on Robin's chest, with current of green energy concentrating there as it left Pyra's chest. Robin felt the same ripples were coming from this region in his chest just like Pyra's chest. He felt that the two beats of ripples were in sync as he felt something appear and grow on his chest. He did not know what it was but he wasn't paying attention to that as the amount of energy here was increasing, tenfold. The area around the two was now shaking with the same ripple effect as robin and Pyra were both now creating this disturbance in the air. Exploding, a giant green energy flame surrounded them and blinded the spot they were standing on. The whole land was now seeping upward and burning with the same energy as the world was becoming white as they were being teleported out of there.

"This works for me as well." The hooded man grinned as this memory world vanished.

"Your end has come!" Chrom bellowed as he lunged forward at the side of the monster's head. He was charging straight with one shoulder in front while the arms held the hilt of Falchion at the same position as his back shoulder, the blade tip aimed directly ahead in the parallel to chrom's forward direction.

"GGWWWAAAAHHHHH!" The land shark monster gave one final cry as it had avoided the silver lance of Frederick to expose his damaged section of his head from earlier bashing to the side attack of Chrom. The legendary sword pierced through the broken bones of the monster's skull and into its brain. It slumped on the floor of the steel ruins, never to threaten another soul.

"We did it, sire." Frederick gasped as it was a hard fought battle against this monster. It was a strong monster, unlike the other ones they fought to get here, if it had shown up earlier, they could have fled and escaped the tragedy.

"Yes." Chrom replied but he was already moving again towards Lissa. Lissa was still paralyzed by this whole ordeal with the monster. It was the sort of monster she had nightmares about, it would freeze anyone if they saw that it had become real. Now, she had to watch a dear friend be brutally mutilated by that nightmare. It would be an emotional shipwreck.

"Lissa." Chrom put a hand on her shoulder on Lissa's shoulder and spoke gently. She was sitting in a heap of emotional distress as she stared at the limp body of Robin in the center of the room, next to a red sword he had tried to use to help them. She saw his body fall, lifeless, not to get back up again. "Lissa!"

"Huh?" Lissa tore her gaze from Robin and looked at her older brother's caring eyes. It was stern and gentle at the same time as hers were wild and fearful.

"You need to help Robin, you're the only one who can." Chrom spoke softly to console his grieving sister.

"I-I don't know-w if I can." Lissa tearfully replied. She was angry with herself for the paralyzing fear. She could have possibly saved Robin if she had moved instead of falling down in grief. Lissa was sobbing now. "It's been too long, the wounds are serious. I only know Mend at best. I need Restore to properly heal him."

"There, there." Chrom hugged Lissa to comfort her. They needed her right now and they had to give her the strength to rise. Lissa hugged back tightly in response to Chrom's hug as she buried her face into his shoulder. Chrom encouraged her again "I believe you can do it."

"Milord." Frederick called out Chrom as he stood next the two royal siblings. He was in a defensive position, aimed at the door of the room. Chrom looked up at him before averting his gaze to where Frederick was looking at.

At the entrance of the room, stood five of the land sharks they had just fought. They looked hungry and ready for a fight. They must have been drawn here by the battle and blood. Truly like sharks on the sea, a single drop of blood calls them.

"Now, Lissa." Chrom patted the back of her head as he used the other to pick up his sword he had set down. Chrom stood up as he held his hand on her hand until he got in between her and the monsters. "I need you to help Robin or run very, very far away."

Lissa heard desperation in her brother's voice. Something serious, extremely serious, was about to happen. Lissa knew that she should run but whatever sense of morbid curiosity she had, she turned her head to see what Chrom and Frederick was facing. She wished she hadn't turned her head.

Death.

That is what was at the door. Death's monsters. Fear, terror, and dread flooded into them as these monsters from whatever hellish sea had come to bring them to the depths of the hell they came from.

Lissa fainted.

"Lissa!" Chrom yelled as he turned to her as she slumped over into unconsciousness. As there was nothing he could do at the moment, Chrom turned to his knight. "Frederick! Grab Lissa and get out of here! I will hold them off!"

"I cannot! Milord." Frederick took a few steps forward to put himself in the middle of the royal sibling and the monsters, acting as their shield. "I am sworn to protect you with my life. I will not fail here."

"Why don't you listen to me for once and get out of here with Lissa!" Chrom marched next to Frederick with both of them getting in a fighting stance. "Save yourselves."

"I cannot live with myself. if I do that and knew that I could save you both." Frederick put himself in front of the prince again.

"Frederick!" Chrom angrily said as he grabbed Frederick's shoulder to pull him back.

"HOW ABOUT YOU STEP OUT OF THE WAY!" A familiar voice behind them yelled.

The two of them turned around to see a very unexpected sight as they felt their backs warm up as the monsters approached their position. In the middle of the room, near the back, Robin stood gripping a red sword in his hands with no wounds on his body or blood on his clothes. He was fully healed. They expected Lissa healed him but she was unconscious. They then noticed that the capsule that held the girl on the wall was on fire. They were baffled completely at this sight.

"Didn't I tell you to step out of the way?" Robin lowered his sword as he was getting ready to strike.

Chrom and Frederick looked at each other in confusion before jumping out of the way, Chrom picking up Lissa as they went to the side of the room. It was the monster's turn to be paralyzed with fear.

BBOOOOMMM! FWWWOOOOOSSSHHHHHHHH!"

A huge pillar of flame erupted behind Robin from the capsule that contained the mysterious girl.

"I don't think that we should go after them." Lon'qu said to the rest of the Shepherd waiting at the door of the ruins. They had defeated all the Risen at the ruins with no losses except for the missing prince, princess, their knight, and tactician that all entered the depths of the ruin. "They told us to wait here to plan how to go in."

"But they went in already." Vaike waved his hand towards the door, the shepherds were on two sides of the door, each representing the different stance of the opinion of what to do. "They could be needing Teach right now."

"They could be seriously hurt." Sumia said as she gripped her lance tightly. She was seriously worried about Chrom.

"They have Lissa with them. They have a healer." Stahl replied.

"plus, they are the best fighters of the group. They could be scouting it out for us." Sully agreed with Stahl but on the terms of the four's fighting power.

"I would normally agree on that logic." Miriel pushed her glasses up on her nose. "But the time they spend inside dictates that they possibly had a problem arise during a scouting opportunity."

"Dang it." Stahl gripped the side of his stomach as he heard Miriel's reply. It made sense. "I got to go with Miriel on this. It has taken too long to be a scouting thing."

Stahl walked over to the otherside of the debate.

"I believe that means our side wins." Vaike said to the opposing faction while sticking out his tongue.

"One vote doesn't mean you won." Sully answered back to Vaike's childish taunt.

BBBOOOOOOMMMMM!

Everyone jumped as they saw a huge pillar of fire flare up the main structure of the building and explode the top. The orange flames melted the steel structure as the earlier metal pieces scatter across the hill from the initial burst. The Shepherds covered themselves to protect them from the debris falling as the tower of fire burned brightly before it suddenly was extinguished.

"Damn it." Sully looked up at the damage from that sudden display of power that came from below. "We need to help them!"

"That is what i've been trying to say!" Teach said as all the Shepherd ran into the building to rescue their leaders. They burst in and went to the back to see how to get down to the lower levels of the ruin. All the while, trying to avoid the big hole in the structure to avoid a possible burn if the fire rekindled itself.

They did not notice a hooded man hiding behind one of the main doors to enter into the ruins. He watched them go to the back and descend down the stairs, all without seeing him. The man walked out of his hiding place and left the ruins behind him.

"The Aegis's power now belongs to Grima."

Once the pillar of flame died down, Chrom and Frederick looked at where Robin was standing but it wasn't just Robin, there was a woman standing next to him. The same woman who was trapped inside that strange device. They looked to see if she was still there, behold she was not. The woman was awake and standing right next to Robin, him in a battle stance and her raising an arm towards him.

"What is going on?" Chrom asked as he held his sleeping sister in his arms.

"RRAAHH!" Robin yelled as he did a diagonal underhand swing at the beasts. He was several yards away from them, there was no way he could hit them with that sword.

Fwoosh!

A slash of fire flew through the air towards the first of the monsters.

"GGrrrawwhhhHH!" The monster screamed in great agony as the fire hit it and caused visible burns on it's skin that looked deep. It was some serious damage.

"We can't let up." Robin yelled as he charged the monsters. The woman followed him from behind as the first monsters started to slowly walk away backwards to retreat. Two of the monsters sprung around the first monster to do a pincer attack at the charging tactician.

"I got the one on the right!" Robin leaned over to the right side to attack the monster on that side of the pincer.

"I will stop the one on the left." The woman in the red clothes moved to the left.

"GRRRR!" The monster attacking Robin raised it's right claw and brought it down on the restored tactician.

"HHAAA!" Robin parried with an underswing to push the claw back, causing an imbalance in the creature's stance. Robin spun around on his spot as his momentum was still going. He did a 360 and did another underswing to strike the exposed underside.

"SSKRREEEE!" the monster bellowed as the blade broke his skin to create a huge gash. Dark blood spurted out but Robin was not done. He crouched down and brought the blade close to his chest, pulled back and leveled the blade to the grievous wound he had just made.

"Gotcha!" Robin buried the blade quickly into the depths of the monsters to impale some vital organs before swiftly pulling it out to fight the other monster.

The woman had moved to the monster on the left. The monster lunged forward with its jaw as it's target had no weapon in it's hand. The woman responded by stepping back, planting her feet, and raising the flat of her palms at the beast with stiff arms. Chrom thought that she was done for.

Slam!

The beast hit a spherical wall of hexagonal light intertwined together. The beast and Chrom were stunned by the sudden appearance of a light shield that stopped the beast in its track. The beast shook its head, confused as the woman was standing there, behind the light shield. She was not helpless. The beast moved to the side to see if it could get around but the woman moved the shield with her. The monster tapped the shield to see if he could get through somehow, leaving itself open to attack.

"I've got it, Pyra!" Robin yelled as he did an overhead swing at the monster fighting Pyra.

Chrom watched the awesome might of his revived comrade slash deep into the neck of the monster. Dark blood gushed out as the blade had hit an artery. It whimpered as it stepped back from the massive damage it received leaving its side open to attack. Stepping back from the beast, Chrom saw Robin and Pyra, that seemed to be her name, get into a defensive position in the room. The slumped over on its side as it became too weak from blood loss to stand anymore, leaving it to die right there.

The first monster had recollected himself from the preemptive artillery the two heroes began with and stood next to the two remaining monsters. They were making clicking and hissing sounds to communicate of how to attack these two newcomers. They were weak to fire and these two brought fire. Chrom knew that beside the overwhelming power advantage they had with flames, Robin had received a massive upgrade in power due to this Pyra.

"Ready?" Pyra asked Robin as she stood on his left side. She had turned to face him.

"Ready!' Robin rotated to face her as well. Robin lifted the red sword up, pointing straight up, in the middle of the two. Pyra reached out and grabbed the blade by the hilt with Robin. The monsters had stopped communicating with themselves as they prepared their attack for victory but it was too late.

Robin and Pyra crouched down before leaping into the air while both held the red, burning sword high. They had a huge vertical distance as they soared high into the air. They lifted their legs back and moved their arms on the outside away from themselves. The hands that gripped the sword, pulled it back in unison as to prepare for an overhead swing.

"Robin, I'm with you!' Pyra replied as they both arched their back together to prepare for the downswing.

The two of them fell down to the ground insync with the downswing but it did not connect with any of the monsters. It was a good deal away from them. The blade stayed a little bit above the ground, not striking it all with their mighty swing. Only thing different was the flames were really starting to spew out.

"Burning!" The two yelled in harmony as they crouched again when they landed with the blade low hanging to the ground this time. They were preparing something big.

"SWORD!" Robin and Pyra shouted as they raised the sword high, towards the ceiling. When they raised the sword, an enormous pillar of fire burst from the ground below the monsters. The beasts were swallowed whole by the intense heat from the flames. Chrom could smell their flesh cook as the fire lapped up around them to consume their life.

After a few seconds of this intense pillar of flame reaching the roof, it subsided to reveal crisp otherworldly monsters. They collapse one by one into an ash heap from the fire attack, leaving a reminder that an awesome power has awoken.

"Are you alright, Chrom?" Robin asked the prince of the halidom of Ylisse. He was standing in the middle of the big room with the big red sword in hand and Pyra standing right next to him.

"Uh, yeah." Chrom woke up from his shock of raw power that his friend and this woman possessed. Setting down the unconscious Lissa on the ground, Chrom walked over to his friend while Frederick did the same from his side, albeit, he did not have Lissa to lay down.

"The real question is are you okay?" Chrom came to the middle of the room and started to inspect Robin all over to check for any wounds.

"I agree with milord. You had the most grievous wounds." Frederick followed after Chrom's question. Robin was wiggling all over while Chrom searched him over head to toe until he stopped at his chest. A green "X" jewel was shining from it, an obvious difference on him when he had no wounds to speak of.

"I am fine." Robin replied as he arched back from the uncomfortable position of Chrom leering at his chest, closely. "Pyra here saved me."

The two of them, while inspecting Robin, rotated their heads toward the strange girl that had come out to assist Robin when he miraculously returned back to life. She had a surprised face with an outstretched hand towards Chrom and Frederick as she observed them roughly handle her driver. When they noted that each other were friends, they took a step and straightened themselves up to greet each other.

"Thank you for saving my friend." Chrom gave a slight bow with a hand on his heart as he did it. Frederick followed his lord but bowed deeper than him. "It means a lot to me that he is alive, safe and sound."

"It was my pleasure." Pyra bowed in response, causing two scarf-like fabrics to flap in the wind a little from the open roof she had created. "My name is Pyra."

"My name is Chrom and this is my knight 'Frederick the Wary.'" Chrom waved his hand to Frederick. Robin straightened himself up from the rough handling of his friends and moved to the side as Chrom and Frederick greeted themselves to Pyra.

"One of the many titles I bear with great pride in the service of milord.'' Frederick replied as he returned to his firm stance that spoke of years of training in knighthood and butlerhood. "Anything to better serve and protect my liege, I will take any level of precaution as necessary."

"Sometimes too much." Chrom responded with a little groan to his knight's introduction. Chrom then returned his attention to Pyra. "Anyway, I have a question to ask you. What is the green thing on Robin's chest? It wasn't there before."

"Oh, that." Pyra answered with a slight widening of the eyes as she put her hands in front of herself. Everyone turned to Robin as he opened his shirt to inspect the thing that Chrom had mentioned. The group looked at the small emerald "X" in his chest. Pyra spoke up again. "I believe that it is up to Robin to decide to give that information."

"Uhm." Robin looked up from looking at the green thing on his chest. He saw Chrom and Frederick looking at him closely again to figure out what had happened to him. Pyra stood on the other side with a hand on her chest, right where her Core crystal was. In his confusion to find a reply, he saw that her green Core Crystal had an "X" shape missing from the center part of the cross shape. The missing "X" seemed to be on his chest. This had to be either something that happened when she gave him half her life force or something to do with being her Driver.

"So, um." Robin rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. "I have to say that this is probably from her giving up half her life force to me."

"I see." Chrom rubbed his chin as he was expecting a very long winded answer from Robin and he was using much of his brain power to try and understand what Robin was going to say. Chrom eyes got wide once he realized it was a simple answer and something he did not expect at all. "Wait, what?!"

"So, milady." Frederick turned to face Pyra. He was quicker on the uptake "if you gave half your life to Robin, are you alright? It must have taken a toll on you."

"No toll whatsoever." Pyra replied to the knight. "I am perfectly fine. I'm pretty much how I've always been. I have access to all things I have as a Blade with no hindrance."

"Hold on just a moment!" Chrom waved his hands trying to slow the conversation. He was confused by all this and was trying to make sense of all this. Chrom whirled around to Robin as everyone looked at his dramatic stunt. "Lifeforce? Blade? What is going on here?"

"I don't get it all either but I think we need to explain some things" Robin looked at Pyra who nodded.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPEN HERE!?" A voice echoed throughout the large room. Everyone spun around to see the source of the voice.

Vaike stood at the door with his mouth agape and his outward palms turned up, trying to grasp thin air to figure out what was going on. The rest of the Shepherds stood behind him with curious and stunned faces as they looked into a sci-fi fantasy tech room with burnt marks all over the place. They had no understanding of what was going on but knew it had to do with the Chrom, Robin, Frederick, unconscious Lissa, strange woman in alien clothes, and six dead land sharks.

"I think we have a lot of explaining to do." Robin said again as the new arrivals came in.
