Hi guys! This chapter was the hardest one yet to write but i tried my best. Also its probably going to be shorter than the first two chapters sorry for that. i dont know how many more chapters im gonna make. I'll try to write atleast 10 but we'll see, anyways enough chatting. Enjoy the chapter :)
They stood there unsure what to do.
Kim walked up to him.
"Hey i'm Kim" She greeted with a smile and sat down across of him.
"Jack" He replied nodding his head slightly in greeting
The others joined them, Milton and Eddie sat down next to Kim and Jerry sat next to Jack.
"We saw what you did to the Black dragons at school, it was awesome yo!" Jerry babbled excited.
Jack grinned and took a bite of his falafel ball
"Yeah, well they got what they deserved"
"How the hell are you so good, i mean you took them down in less than two minutes and they're all black belts!" Eddie spoke up amazed.
Jack smiled and folded his arms
"Well i'm a fourth-degree black belt and i've been training Martial arts ever since i was 5. My grandfather is a Master Sensei and he taught me everything i know"
Their eyes widened in amazement.
"You should join our dojo, Rudy our Sensei would pass out in excitement if you did, and we got a tournament coming up next week, with your help we would have a huge shot at winning " Milton exclaimed eyes wide and hopeful.
Jack raised an eyebrow
"You guys do karate?" He asked interest piqued.
Kim nodded
"Yeah we train at the Bobby Wasabi dojo across of Falafel Phils. I'm a second-degree black belt and the guys are blue belts" She replied with a smile.
"Wait you do karate and you're a black belt?" Jack blurted out
Kim felt a pang of irritation at his flabbergasted state.
"Yes I DO infact" She replied in a snarky tone arms crossed.
"I meant no offense, its just well-
Jack seemed to have dug himself in a hole and there is only one highly embarassing way to escape it.
-you look too pretty to take part in such a violent sport" He stammered blushing a little and looking at his Falafel balls that suddenly seemed like the most interesting thing he's ever seen.
Kim blushed crimson red and looked down.
He called me pretty. She thought happily. She tried to hide her smile and blush with her hair.
The boys all but Jack snickered.
"Nice save bro" Jerry whispered grinning, low enough so Kim doesn't hear and nudged Jack with his shoulder.
Jack looking embarrased suddenly stood up, tried to change the subject and forget about the whole thing.
"Umm we should probably go to the dojo and you guys could show me around?" He suggested awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck.
Jerry also stood up.
"Yeah sure man lets go WHOOOO!" He shouted excited and ran out of the restaurant.
Jack shrugged and followed him outside hands in his pockets.
Kim, Milton and Eddie stood up and ran out aswell huge smiles on their faces, excited to finally have a new student in the dojo.
Inside the dojo Rudy was setting up the dummies when the door opened and Jerry came in running.
"Yo Rudy guess who's here" He said giddily.
Rudy raised his eyebrows
Jack came in through the door and introduced himself
"Hey i'm Jack, nice to meet you" he stuck his hand out
"Rudy" Rudy responded shaking his hand when a realization hit him
"Wait are you the new guy everyone has been talking about?" He asked
"Yea that's me i guess" Jack shrugged awkwardly.
The others came in
"Hey Rudy this is the new kid Jack we told you about" Eddie exclaimed happily jabbing his thumb in Jacks direction.
"Yeah he's a fourth-degree black belt and he wants to join the dojo" Kim spoke up smiling and looking at Jack.
Rudy looked shocked
"Wait really? a fourth-degree black belt?"
They all nodded smiling widely
"Okay well show us what you got Jack" He told him smiling and motioned towards the mats in the middle of the dojo.
Jack nodded and walked up to the bo-staffs, picked one up, walked over to the mats and started doing a really advanced bo-staff routine he was working on in his old dojo, before he moved to Seaford.
He put the bo-staff beside his foot, kicked it up and started twirling it around fast. He did a bunch of spins, strikes and blocks. After he was done he put the bo-staff down and started doing a series of punches, kicks and flips. He finished off by walking up to a dummy and doing a Jumping spin hook kick. His foot caught the dummys mouth and took the head clean off.
Everyone stood there in shock, jaws dropped and eyes wide in astonishment. None of them have ever seen Karate moves so advanced in person, except Rudy who is currently smiling so wide his face hurts.
"That was amazing Jack!" Rudy exclaimed jumping around giddily, suprised that someone so good wants to join his dojo and not the Black dragons.
Everyone nodded in agreement amazed.
Jack put his hands in his pockets and blushed a little under the praise.
"Thanks guys"
"Alright i'll go get the papers so you can sign, i will be right back" Rudy said giddy and ran into his office.
Later after Jack signed the papers, they started practicing. Jack was helping everyone with their forms and showed them some new more advanced moves.
He was helping Jerry with his nunchuck routine, when Kim came up to him.
"Hey Jack can we spar?" She asked a smile plastered on her face.
"Uhh i don't think that's a good idea Kim" Jack replied nervously
"Come on i'm tired of sparring Milton i want to be challenged" She pleaded giving him the puppy eyes.
Jack hesitated and tried not to look into her eyes. don't give in don't give in don't giv-
"Fine" He sighed
Kim's face lit up.
"Come on" She chirped and dragged him towards the mats.
Rudy came in with a camera and started recording
"This is gonna be so good" He gushed jumping up and down.
Jerry, Eddie and Milton stopped what they were doing and were now watching them intrigued.
They bowed and started circling each other.
Jack was still unsure
"Kim are you sure"
She responded by throwing a punch.
Jack catched her punch
"Okay then" He sighed
They started trading blows, Kim tried to kick his legs and knock him off balance but Jack dodged out of the way. The fight went on like that Kim on offense and Jack on defence for two to three minutes. After awhile Jack saw his oppurtunity and sweep kicked Kim's legs from under her. She fell onto the mats with a loud thud.
Jack rushed over to her
"Kim are you okay" He asked worried
"Yeah i'm fine that was amazing" She responded smiling brightly.
Jack smiled back.
As Jack helped her up he got lost in her beautiful brown eyes. Jerry's cheering broke him out of his trance.
"WHOOOO! That was awesome man" He cheered smiling wide.
Milton, Rudy and Eddie nodded in agreement.
"Yeah that was great" Rudy clapped his hands a huge smile plastered on his face.
